Man könnte annehmen, es sei eine echte Sterneküche mit sehr moderaten Preisen. Und das alles oben mit der tollen Rundumsicht. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Nicht weit vom Zentrum in einer ruhigen Straße. Alles super! Gerne wieder!

Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutto lo staff del ristorante e in particolare a Dimitri che, insieme ai suoi colleghi, ci ha fatte sentire coccolate durante tutto il soggiorno.

We particularly liked the location as it a block from the river, a 10 min. walk to the train station & tram from the airport and yet a very quiet, residential neighborhood. We found that welcoming after a day of activities. The elevator was not working consistently, and they did have workers there to fix it. The only miss for me was the lack of a robe in the room.

• mark (10/5): A quiet restful hotel in historic Florence - This was our second time to stay at the Kraft in Florence. While it is a little on the fringe of the city it is quiet, clean and has a spectacular roof top bar and has a fantastic breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. The staff are polite, friendly, and professional. I would recommend the Kraft and would stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to beautiful Florence. everything was great during our visit, no problems, issues or concerns.

Breakfast was excellent. we loved the location because we didn't want something in the center of town. pool is quite small, couldn't tell from the pictures. staff was very friendly the room was very very small. it seem a bit much for almost 500 USD.
• karen (8/5): - We chose the hotel for proximity to Santa Maria novella station. In reality it’s a 8 minute walk and with suitcases - meh- not so easy. We did it but would consider a) your ‘fitness’ to walk 1/2 mile or so with luggage b) weather - heat/rain and c) how much luggage you have. A pull along carry on size is very different from a large suitcase and hand luggage. Staff were exceptional - friendly knowledgable and kind. The breakfast was also very impressive. Beautiful cappuccino and non dairy milks on offer. Eggs/pastries/fruit/cheese and cold meats. It was a buffet that far exceeds the breakfast buffets at most comparable hotels in the US. As many guests noted the rooftop dining area is a highlight. Open in evenings for dinner or just a night cap - wonderful views of the city at night. And open for breakfast. Pool is small and there are only enough seats for 20 or so people so when we went up there we couldn’t sit and left. Rooms are spacious - not luxurious but clean and comfortable and we were only staying one night so was all good.

Service by staff was warm and friendly. Excellent arrangement of taxis. Fifteen minute walk from Duomo etc. Dinner and lunch options were lovely. They have gluten free spaghetti for coeliacs. Would definitely come again! Selection of food for breakfast was a little bit limited. One family member was coeliac - would have been nice to have GF cereal too. There was a lot of very loud building works at the hotel which we didn't know about ahead of time. Area is a bit run down.

• PHIL (9/5): Perfect base for a short stay, peaceful but walkable to the centre of town and the Uffizi. - The buffet breakfast was excellent and offered a very wide choice of alternatives. The staff were always very attentive. Nothing escaped Roberto's attention!! We ate in the restaurant on two occasions and were very happy with the standard of cuisine and food choices offered each time. Ludmilla gave excellent advise on the wines on offer. Lovely views from the roof terrace area. We personally have no criticisms .

The best feature is the roof terrace which is spectacular; There is a restaurant area (also breakfast) and a small pool area with lounges. We enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace after a busy day. Very good breakfast with an egg station. No fresh orange juice.

Only issues we had being on the 5th floor was staff moving furniture around on the floor above until after 11pm although when mentioned the would stop immediately. Also don’t leave balcony doors open at night we found mosquitos found their way in. Would stay again.
• sarahmC549UL (10/5): Pleasant stay, amazing breakfast - Our experience of the Kraft hotel was very pleasant. The hotel staff are all very welcoming and doing a brilliant job. Our room was spacious enough and there was a kettle and coffee/tea facilities which we welcomed. Our bathroom was well appointed, however, our shower cubicle was not water tight and we had to use a lot of towels on the floor to manage the water which kept flooding out. The bed was large but we did find the mattress a bit firm, the pillows and bedsheets were nice. Unfortunately we were on the ground floor and we found there was some noise from people walking past the window late at night and we also did find it noisy when people walked past our room in the hallway. We were unable to open the window while having curtains / shutters closed. By far the best thing about the hotel was the rooftop area. We sat here and had drinks and breakfast in the morning and it was incredibly pleasant. The breakfast spread was also vast and we had ample choice and all of the food and drinks served to us was high quality. The location of the hotel is ideal for the train station and they held our luggage on the day we checked out. Overall, a very pleasant experience at hotel Kraft and we would recommend.

Hot water was janky at best Ac is locked out at 20 and never once did we see or feel it blow and the lobby is a sauna…..even if locked out allow fan speed or put fans in rooms Under the dining room I could hear everything from about 0700-2300 at night. You can hear everything in the stairwell No smart tv is crazy for an expensive hotel in 2026. Wi-Fi was horrible in and out all day and night.

• Meghan (10/5): Great location & absolutely wonderful staff! - The location is very close to the river, which provides a beautiful & scenic walk to the city center. It’s located in a quiet part of the city so I was able to sleep well, which is so important when you are traveling. I thought the staff was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to staying here again.

A comfortable, welcoming, professionally operated hotel in a convenient spot. - A lovely hotel in a quiet area which was a short walk (15 mins) into the centre of Florence..and the same strolling along the riverside walk to the Uffizi Gallery..and also about 15 minutes walk to the train station where we arrived from and also took a day trip to Pisa. So the location was perfect for us! The hotel was clean and well designed, our room was quiet and comfortable for us a family of three. Thank you to the housekeeping staff, they did a thorough job to renew our room every day. The rooftop pool was great fun, accessible by elevator and nicely heated so we swam in the evenings during our stay over the week of the New Year 2026 regardless of the cold weather. A great view from there of the city and the Duomo, and also at breakfast which was served in the top floor restaurant. Breakfast was very nice, a good choice with coffee and eggs made to order, and a wide buffet including house speciality panettone and prosciutto. The restaurant staff were very professional and friendly, kindly speaking a little Greek with us to chat with my son, and they hosted us at the hotel's New Year's Eve party with a disco and fireworks on the roof, and of course the view of the city-wide fireworks. Thank you. We had an amazing time and can say, both as a family on holiday and as professionals (we operate holiday accommodation on the Greek island of Rhodes) we will definitely stay here again. Somehow some extra coat hooks or clothes hanging space would have been handy, but probably was only an issue for us as the hotel kindly booked us with an extra child into the double room.

• Felix Sulger (9/5): Sehr schönes Hotel und zur Fuß alles gut erreichbar. - Hatten einen Balkon und von der Terrasse einen tollen Blick über die Stadt - konnten dies beim Frühstück genießen. Schöne geräumige Zimmer mit einem gut ausgestattetem Badezimmer. Leider war in der Garage noch Adaptierungsarbeiten nötigt, musst en dadurch mehrmals umparken - wurden hier aber mit einem Getränkegutschein entschädigt. Das ein neuer Lift eingebaut wird - hat man relativ wenig mitbekommen.

• William (8/5): Very happy to return to this hotel. - The room was warm and comfortable. Daily servicing was carried out in a discrete and competent manner. Help to get the luggage upstairs was appreciated. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed. Luke warm "English Breakfast Tea"!

• Johanna (10/5): Ein super Hotel für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Florenz. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich war mit al - Ruhig gelegen. Schönes großes, sauberes Zimmer. Tolles Badezimmer mit einer richtigen Türe. (Keine Glastüre). Der Fluss Arno liegt nur eine Querstraße vom Hotelzimmer entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren fußläufig super zu erreichen. Die Dachterrasse war super schön, leider war es während meines Aufenthaltes noch zu windig, um dort oben länger zu verweilen. Der Pool ist beheizt und war während meines Aufenthaltes Anfang März nutzbar. Parkgarage gegen Gebühr nur 1 Seiten Straße entfernt. Sehr schöne, moderne Garage. Mir hat dort alles gefallen.

• Roderick (9/5): Excellent hotel, to which we would return without hesitation - Superb room and en suite, with a range of pleasing additions - robes, slippers, quality toiletries, pool towels. Useable, protected and private balcony overlooking the street. Ristorante was excellent for breakfast with great staff and service. Top floor with terrace and pool gave wonderful city panoramas. Weather meant that heated pool remained untested. Rain meant that the umbrellas provided for guests in the lobby were well used and welcomed. Small point, but we chose not to dine in the hotel on Valentine's evening due to the high price being charged. Otherwise, the hotel was more than we had hoped for and we would return without hesitation. Thank you to all of the staff.
• Fabrice (9/5): Séjour parfait - Personnel très à l'écoute. Localisation idéale + rooftop avec une des plus belles vues sur Florence. Merci à Roberto pour ce petit déjeuner très matinal nous permettant de partir à l'heure pour l'aéroport !
