• Magdaléna (8/5): We really liked our stay and we would come back even there was few imperfect things. - We loved the view! It was incredible to have a breakfast on the terrace everyday. We also really liked it’s location - it was close to restaurants, stores, close to nice walking paths and close to bus stop. The neighborhood was calm and safe. Apartment was a perfect size for 2 people for few days stay. In the bathroom was not nice smell. Also the cleanliness of the apartment was not perfect (we perhaps found hair in our bed sheets). Neighbours were loud until late at night.

• Gordon (8/5): Very safe and enjoyable place to stay! - The view to the port was amazing from studio 2 - I saw cruise ships dock each day. Weather was unseasonably windy whilst staying in Croatia so the apartment was a little colder than expected.

• Norbert (8/5): - Lage am Hafen , Supermarkt in der Nähe , Badestrand in der Nähe Tv funktioniert nicht, keine Möglichkeit im Apartment zu frühstücken oder zu essen! Nur auf der Terrasse möglich! Leider Tisch. Nur für 2 Personen! Parkmöglichkeiten für Pkw sehr schwierig !

• Wong (9/5): Lovely guest room, with a very friendly host! - Cosy air-conditioned room, tucked away from the busy streets of Dubrovnik. We really liked the view from the balcony - you can see the port and the bridge. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood, making it a very peaceful stay. A slightly funky smell in the bathroom (possibly the drain) - but this was quite minor.

• Nora (10/5): Perfect in our taste! - The apartment was on a perfect location. Not too turisty, but yet close to an amaizing little beach and to the restaurants. Good location for a little hiking as well! The staff was friendly and welcoming.
• Ayman (8/5): Beautiful stay in Babin Kuk - A beautiful stay in Babin Kuk. The house is 5 minutes from the nearby beach and 10 minutes walk from the bus station. The view of the sea was amazing and the apartment had a reasonable size.
• Ahmed (10/5): I want to give 10 out of 10 - It was awesome actually what I saw on the picture. It was much more better than this and the owners hospitality was excellent. The most important thing at night have Pin drop silent. I will definitely recommend to everybody who have family the room was quite big to have a big bed and so far and have one drawing room that have two sofas and eating table have kitchen and a wonderful, wonderful wonderful balcony. Actually, I like everything especially this owners hospitality with my family.

• Soumya (7/5): Beautiful view from balcony, kitchen facilities not good - The view from the balcony is totally worth the money! You can see the sunrise from the main bedroom and ships sailing at night. The bathroom was extremely clean however it did not have a shampoo. The location is not bad if you can take the bus or taxi to city centre, and it is close to beaches (10-15 minutes walk) and am excellent restaurant Pantarol is also in the vicinity. Great place away from city crowds and an amazing view! For the view itself its worth staying. The kitchen is not at all well equipped if you're planning to cook. The kettle had plastic melting which we were lucky to check as it could have been toxic to drink water boiled in it. The host was prompt to send a replacement kettle but it was very dirty. The small room with the sofa bed was not clean and the extra duvets provided looked rather dusty and dirty.

The location was good, 10 min to the bus stop that takes you to the old towns, there is a small supermarket at 3 min walking distance and there a few restaurants at 10 walking distance by the sea . Most importantly the views is beautiful, just as in the pictures ! The host also gave as fresh fruit and fresh towel without having to ask, very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend!

Everything local within walking distance, the Supermarket was very close by & the bus links easily available. It was very good value for money & happy we stayed there. If you don't need the hustle & bustle of Old Town & happy to travel in, I definitely recommend here!

Watching docked ships opposite the apartment felt nice. The apartment is spacious. I enjoyed the 2nd room. Nice storage space, as I was traveling alone. Sema - the host was lovely. She allowed me to store my luggage for a few hours while I waited to catch the ferry to Sobra. The sea is about a 5-7 min walk from the property. It’s not crowded. Good for a morning swimming. The AC unit was strong and reliable. Quiet neighborhood. Great value for the money🩵

Host was also really nice, she also offered some fresh homegrown fruits during our stay :) . Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would have been amazing if there were blackout curtains to prevent sunlight during early morning, if you are a late riser.

• Victoria (8/5): Beautiful views and a lovely host. - Avdic Guesthouse is in a great location and the views from the balcony are stunning so it was lovely to enjoy our coffee there in the morning. It is a quick taxi or bus ride to Duprovnik old town but is in a quieter location if you prefer to be away from the busy streets but still have plenty of restaurants nearby. The Setnica walking trail is close and you can follow the coastal path all the way to the Vela and Mala Petka Forest Park which is a beautiful walk or run. Semy was a lovely host and very welcoming, we had a lovely stay and the apartment had everything that we needed. The sofa bed is not as comfy as the main bed although that is normal with most sofa beds and it was fine for a short stay. But if you have a choice, go for the main bed! :)

• Lydia (9/5): Great location and views - Loved the location and beautiful view from the balcony. 10-15 minute walk to the main part of Lapad (restaurants and bars) and bus station into Old town Dubrovnik. Close to beaches and convenience stores. Apartment is a good size, with all the amenities you will need, nice and bright with air conditioning and helpful staff. The bathroom door is lightly frosted glass and has a bit of a damp smell, it's not particularly good for privacy as you can see into it, so I wouldn't recommend for any guests that are not a couple

• Enis (8/5): Great for a short stay - The view is something to look for in this apt. Good for a short stay The bed needs to be changed. It gets pretty hot since the apt. Is under the roof. Couldnt stand the slanted roof as well, thats why i wouldnt recommend for a long stay.

Really nice hostess :) Communication was quite difficult, delayed and unsatisfactory. The apartment has many stairs and no elevator so you must carry your luggage over the many long and tall stairs.

"House Avdic" was not displayed anywhere on the street or on the house, which made it a bit more difficult to find.

• Sophia (10/5): Excellent house in a beautiful quiet district! - Beautiful view and precious evening breeze you wouldn't have in the centre. Quiet surrounding if you like to sleep with open windows. Good air con! Basics like coffee and sugar were in the kitchen directly in our room. Plus treats from the hostess. We got extra fresh towels, a nice surprise after a couple of days. Two shops, a bakery, pharmacy and some cafès & restaurants nearby. Quick direct bus connection to the old town. Many beaches to choose from (depending on one's budget: quiet and free just down the street or one with cocktails, sun umbrellas etc like the Sunset Beach) are in walking distance. Lovely hostess, very flexible and forthcoming. Wifi was a bit weak, but strong enough for Google maps etc.
• Dan (10/5): Incedible hospitality - I had several issues getting to Croatia due to the corona thing going on but the hotel was completely accommodating and understanding. They actually were willing to change my dates twice for me with no penalty. The lady who owns the place is a true sweet heart even willing to do my laundry and supply me with new towels.
