- Jon (10/5): Beautiful house and a great location! - Beautiful house and a great location! The house is perfect, with everything you need! It’s very quiet and relaxing, and it’s just 5 minutes from the train station.
- Anne (8/5): Could be a 10/10 with a little tlc - Fresh crisp cotton linens, comfortable mattresses (1 soft, 1 medium, 1 firm). Great location. 20 mins to airport. Around the corner from dart station. Secluded garden. Great couch, lovely light through dining area. A bit grubby in places, no bathroom key or snib. Host needs to replace or clean lampshades in bedrooms. Shower base needs replaced or fixed (big crack in plastic base. Harbours germs, leaks to who knows where). Some black grout in shower tiles etc. Lumpy pillows (€7.50 for 2 from Tesco, so no big deal after the first night). Lots of useless, heavily scratched non stick pans. Please bin and buy a new one. There is a stainless steel pot so not impossible to fry an egg. An oven tray would have been appreciated.

- Sandra (9/5): - La casa, el barri, la proximitat al centre, tot fantàstic. Ens van donar el codi erroni per accedir a les claus i van trigar gairebé 20' en donar-nos el codi correcte.
- Mills (10/5): Fantastic place. - Great place. Close to Dublin. Short walk to shops, pub, and train station.
Lepa, čista in prostorna hiša.
- Natalija (10/5): Great place to stay for a group in Dublin - Very comfortable and cozy place to stay for a group, and location was good as train station was just around the corner. Everything was very good, no complaints.
- Laura (9/5): -
- Antony (9/5): Handy for trains to Dublin but quiet neighbourhood to relax in - Nice location a short walk to the train station for easy access into Dublin.
Big garden area and patio
Nice family kitchen and lounge.
Pub and shops shot walk away Some train noise but otherwise nothing to dislike
- Sarah (5/5): Beautiful quiet region. The house was OK. - The apartment is in a beautiful quiet part of Dublin, very close to the train station. The rooms provide enough space, The garden is beautiful and you get lots of visits of cats and even foxes. The living room is comfy and perfect for movie nights. There was confusion with the check-in times. We were notified that the check-in would be 1 hour later than originally agreed. In the end it was only 15 minutes after the agreed time but the trash of the previous visitors was still inside the kitchen and we had to take it out ourselves. The house is beautiful but not in the best condition anymore. It needs some maintenance. You can see that a lot of people have stayed there. There were ants in the kitchen. The chair covers were dirty. The walls have marks on them. The kitchen was not 100% clean. The cups and dishes in the kitchen were not clean either. We expected more from the house for the price.

- James (9/5): A cracking weekend and the weather was exceptional! - Good location and transport links.
Well presented property, everything modern, clean and up to scratch. Could do with an ensuite or another WC.
- Diogo (6/5): Disappointing - The beds were comfortable and the house had all the necessary amenities. The state in which we found the house was disappointing, the cleanliness of the rooms was poor, as well as the kitchen and the bathroom had a strange smell.
We contacted the accommodation, sent pictures and asked for the house to be cleaned. After multiple attempts a date for the cleaning was scheduled but no one showed up for the cleaning and they stopped answering our messages.
- Uday (9/5): Very Good Cottage with all necessary amenities! - The cottage was a wonderful place, with all modern facilities and amenities provided therein. Check-in was smooth after completing the process online before arrival, which is a must but not a cumbersome one. The cottage is big enough for a family of 4 or 6 with an open garden cum lawn at the side of the cottage. We even spotted a fox tresspassing the property at night! The only limitation is the single bathroom in the cottage which is a handicap if 4 or more people are staying in the cottage but that we knew beforehand from the discloure made by the host on the platform. To an extent provision of a single bathroom though we knew this beforehand from the discloure made by the host on this platform.
- Jackie (5/5): Passable - The location was great- close to the railway and fully accessible to Dublin City centre.
Arrival instructions were good and arrived promptly. The garden is lovely and all very quiet.
The big downside is the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was poor along with the flush in the toilet. Drainage was slow and ?? blocked. When only one bathroom for 6 people the time taken for a shower impacted greatly.
The shower was full of mould on other the tile grouting and throughout the shower door frame- it needs a major overhaul.
The kitchen was adequate but not fantastically equipped and some of the crocks were dirty. The microwave didn’t work.
We had issues with the electrics- one ceiling light didn’t work despite a bulb change. One light in the living area we found no way of turning off as there are multiple switches! We were initially offered -when we reported this- a visit from maintenance which the next morning we were told , being the weekend, wouldn’t be possible. To be fair we managed and this wasn’t a deal breaker.
It feels as if it’s being maintained on a small budget and with some input it could be lovely.
- Adrian (7/5): Good -
- Qiu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesly (10/5): Pretty property in walkable distance to train station. - Close to the train the station, very quiet, and nice property. It would have been helpful to know in advance that essentials like soap and shampoo wouldn’t be provided, especially since we arrived so late and didn't have the opportunity to pick them up.
- Ollie (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Very spacious house…all on one level…off street parking We were not able to control the heating and found it quite warm..
For the price we paid we expected a few basic item…eg soap in the bathroom…tea coffee in the kitchen and also more tea towels
- Jennifer (10/5): Highly recommend, we had a fantastic stay!! - Cottage was clean and modern. Location to the train station was perfect, walking distance to the grocery store. We were worried about one washroom for a group of six. It was a little challenging but for the price, clean, modern accommodations and location and turned out not to be really that inconvenient. We would absolutely book again.
- Jennie (10/5): amazing cottage real home from home peacful location - we loved everything about the cottage, so clean beautiul comfy beds, location was great so close to dart railway, killister is a lovely town , great pub and resturant so close and very good supermarket. it was all perfect
- Brid (9/5): Superb -

- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic accommodation for a group of friends/family. Lovely house, big kitchen and a nice living area. Very good location - super close to Killester train station. Lots of friendly cats around the neighborhood.
- Bethany (9/5): Very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. - It was very spacious and modern. The TV was fully working along with access to Netflix. It came with an iron, hair dryer and washing facilities. The property did have a noise volume detecter which wasn’t an issue for us but it seemed to go off twice when we weren’t making any noise. We didn’t want the hosts to think we were making a lot of noise when we wasn’t. So maybe this needs checking or new batteries?
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hanna (9/5): Brilliant - Very easy clear instructions No welcome pack such as tea and coffee
- Chimezirim (9/5): Superb -
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Jim (10/5): Great cottage. Administration on booking needs attention. - It was beautifully updated and had all necessary items for a break. It has wonderful outdoor space which would be excellent for summer breaks.
There was a garage outside to house vehicles and front outdoor space for two cars. The tv was setup for many channels which is good for young children. What I didn’t like was not about the property but about the administration. We arrived in Killester and rang to get the number of the property address. We were sent to another part of Clontarf being advised that was where our stay was booked for. We were unable to contact the office again so drove to the new address which had a sold sign outside. We waited trying to contact the office to eventually get information that we should drive back to our original stop at Killester. This caused us delays and we missed an appointment. However, once we got access to the cottage we were happy.
- Alice (10/5): Wonderful, would definitely stay again. - We loved the overall feel and decor of the propert. It’s was easy to access everything and was perfect for our 4 day stay. The location was perfect for us to be able to get a taxi into the centre and still be enough away for some peace and quiet. Nothing to note, everything met our expectations and loved the property. It was clean and tidy when we got there. It’s easy to get to and from as well.
- David (9/5): Decent - 2 mins from the Dart No coat hooks
- Lenka (8/5): Very good - Věry nice house with garden, really clean The only problem Is only one toilet together with the bathroom
- Eric (10/5): - The Killester Cottage provided an excellent place to stay for our family during our recent vacation. We also enjoyed daily visits from neighboring cats!
- Anonymous (10/5): Exactly what we wanted thank you - Lovely and clean Nothing
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (9/5): just right for our needs - group of 3 for 3 nights, going to a gig. Happy to recommend. - large, well equipped enough for the length of our stay, clean. Located well for going to a gig in St Anne’s Park, also close to Dart station 3 stops from Temple Bar area. Sleeps six and would accommodate that comfortably Mattresses a little soft, if I was staying longer would like more than one tea towel, and larger personal towels.
- Tatman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - Beautiful accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Very good for transport links. Not enough bathroom towels. Also need a door matt as it rained quite a lot while we were there and we couldn't help walking rain in. The key lock needs some sort of light for night time.
- Andrew (9/5): nice quiet area , a bit of work on the garden would make improve it. - open aspect could have done with some coffee filters ,
tea towels
- Juan (10/5): Great place to be when in Dublin. - Great location, very clean and equipped with all needed to cook. By car is just 14 mins from the center, and very close to several supermarkets.
Would 1000% stay here again. I can't really fault this property on anything serious, the stay was excellent.
One small thing that took me by surprise, there are about 2 light switches that are switches but somehow act as dimmers, so the longer you press them the more intense the light is, nothing bad really.
- Anonymous (10/5): all in all it was a really nice up-market area to stay, “was impressed to be fair” although I did email the agent on the - it was just amazing, very clean, very up-market, not what I expected in the location it was situated!,….
the property was worth every penny we rented it for, thank you there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, we felt comfortable & safe whilst @ the property.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, very high comfortable. Perfect place 👏 Only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet is quite difficult with 4 and more people.
- Sarah (7/5): Functional for our purposes - It was warm and proximity to family. Very close to shops and transport links. We were concerned about the electrics during our stay as flashing lights, the bathroom lights wouldn’t turn off at times and the washing machine tripped the main breaker. There were also a lot of bare wires hanging down from the ceiling. It would have been better to have had more towels per person in the house including another hand towel. The house would benefit from a better TV selection (we could only get sky news). It didn’t impact us too much as were out a lot but could cause issues for other guests. The only mirror was in the bathroom which was difficult when getting ready as we had 3 ladies in our party who all needed to use it as well as have showers. There was a queue!
- Mattia (8/5): Very good - Location very good, near train station and super comfortable. The apartment hadn't been cleaned, no cleaned sheets and towels before our arrival and there were still all the leftovers from the previous guest.
Had to contact the support and had to request immediate cleaning support to be able to stay in the apartment.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Raiane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): The locato -
- Karina (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katarzyna (9/5): Exceptional property! Would definitely recommend. - The property was very cozy, quiet, spacious, and well equipped. It was located only a few minutes from the train station, in a quiet neighborhood. The tool shed outside the house was in a pretty rough state, it would look much better if closed at all times. When it comes to property the tap in the kitchen was dripping, which was quite irritating.
- Tiffany (10/5): Lovely home - We had six in our party and the accommodations were great. Newly renovated, great location. Bus station within walking distance. Would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely large house with everything brand new inside. The huge window on the back is so nice, although some curtains or blinds might be nice for privacy. They refunded my deposit the same day we left, which was very nice! This house has 3 larger bedrooms, and a very nice bathroom. Also has a huge kitchen table. Great for a family.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful renovated property that is spacious and clean. 5 minute walk to the Dart station which makes it very convenient to get into the heart of Dublin while still staying in a quiet neighborhood.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous place to stay in a quiet area. Very close to the train going downtown Dublin and to coastal town of Howth. Recently beautifully renovated. Well equipped kitchen but could use a little bit more of pots and pans and dishware. Beautiful renovated patio that could benefit from a nice patio table and chairs. Also, there is a private driveway.
I highly recommend this beautiful place.
