- Maisie (10/5): Will be back! And highly recommend! - Very friendly atmosphere, staff and volunteers were great! We had lots of activities we could join in on and he’d a great time. Had a movie night, played pool, water sports and a hiking day ! Two of the showers needed some maintenance but we still had a great shower to use so wasn’t an issue for us.
- Irina (10/5): Fabulous place! - Hasta la Vista is a hidden gem run by a very passionate young man with a great community spirit, appreciation for the local history and super welcoming vibe. We had a private room which was very clean and spacious and had an impressively comfortable bed. The facilities are amazing, with lots of chill out areas, fully equipped kitchen, cinema, library, co-working space, a super cool hidden play den, even a mini-history museum! Too bad we stayed out of season and we couldn't enjoy a more social stay, but I can only imagine this place coming alive when people come together, connect and have a great time. Not to be missed!

- Filippa (10/5): Ett trevligt och rent hostel med bra personal. - En av de bättre hostel jag varit på i Albanien - ser ut som det gör på bilderna och det fanns massvis med aktiviteter att göra tillsammans med andra som bodde där, vilket var skönt då jag reser ensam. Det var nära till stranden vilket jag älskade. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och serviceinriktade och hjälpte till med information om vad Saranda har att erbjuda och dessutom hjälpte mig att få kontakt med andra resande. Rummen var rena och fräscha såväl som toaletterna/dusch. Jag kommer stanna här nästa gång jag är i Saranda. Jag har inget negativt att anmärka på.

- Anita (10/5): Best hostel in the best area of Saranda! - This is the best hostel to stay in Saranda. The location is in a really good spot - close enough to the centre and very close to the beach. Rooms were clean, lots of activities to do, and everyone was really friendly - 10/10!

- Annette (6/5): Niet schoon - Het is een prachtig ruim licht hostel, met een grote keuken en veel ruimte om te zitten/spellen te doen/Netflix te kijken. Er wordt te weinig schoongemaakt en er zijn te weinig wc's. Ook hebben de douches onderhoud nodig. Helaas, want dit hostel heeft heel veel potentie.

- Nusa (6/5): - The room was quite spacious and there was a working AC. The bed was also quite comfortable. The staff was really nice and there is a common kitchen/dining area and if you want to hang our with people there is also a "games and movies room" where they also organise activities if you want to hang out and meet new people. It was a good price since it's a hostel but the biggest lacking is probably the cleanliness and that toilet paper got used really quickly and was not always available. When they clean the bathrooms and toilets they just sprinkle water everywhere so right after that it's a possibility for the space to be wet. In our room it was quite light during the night since there's a glass on the doors and there was a window at the top of one wall that was connected to the bathroom nextdoor so whenever anyone used that room the light got in our room as well.

- Elayn Yi-Lin (10/5): Great stay - Only have good things to say of the owner and staff!! I was disturbed by 3 guests upon arriving, owner was very quick to stop them and moved me to a different room immediately. From then on, my stay was amazing, I had a great time exploring Sarande with the others from my room. Owner is very available and responsive at all times, even stored my phone safely for me when I left it behind one day and went out. Staff are so friendly and always helpful. Kitchen facilities are useful, drinking water always available, location is good and I'm coming back very soon! Someone stole my milk in the fridge despite clear labels but this is the nature of hostel life.

- Murray (10/5): - The staff here were all so nice and really welcome you in to the hostel. It’s also huge, there so much space to chill, cook, have a few drinks, and there are plenty of toilets/showers. The location is perfect in Sarandë, everything is within 15/20 minute walk. I recommend everyone to go and get a sun lounger at Mucobega Hotel or ask the volunteers where the public beach near there is. There are supermarkets, bar and restaurants all really close to the hostel too. You can also book on tours through Hasta La Vista but they’re super busy so ask as soon as you get there. I ended up going through GetYourGuide. A nice touch by the owner was putting a small ‘museum’ in the hostel so you can find out more about the history of Albania! The bed was comfortable in itself, but it did creek quite a lot. Also, as someone who is quite tall, I felt the bed was a little short for me. I did book a ‘4-bed dorm’ but as far as I could tell they didn’t have any, I ended up in a 5 bed, which was totally fine.

Location is very good, close to center, beaches and bus station. Hostel is big, with a lot of spaces for socializing. Staff is pretty nice, they organize regular events. Evetything good.
- Katrine Skjelten (10/5): - Loved my stay at Hasta La Vista Hostel ended up staying 10 nights, and I still did not want to leave. The owners and volunteers make it feel like home. There is a whatsapp group where they announce activities, and people can arrange to do outings together. You are always greeted with love and inclusion. Super social place, without being a "partyhostel". Always clean and tidy. My first night the owner had a bbq on his rooftop terrase, and from there on out it felt like home. The place is huge, with so many places to hang out. There is a movie room, a huge kitchen area and even a poolroom. All secluded so that it does not bother your sleep. The beds are comfy and there are plenty of bathrooms. You can tell Albano, the owner, puts his love into the place.

Cómodo, limpio, buen ambiente, tiene una sala con mesa de pool y ping pong, terraza donde hicimos una bbq!, buena ubicación! Con un supermercado cerca. - Shaun Jakeman (8/5): - Hostel is located in the centre, short walk from the beach. Many facilities to use and very clean. Not sure if it was the only room I was staying in, but I noticed the top bunk didn't have a plug socket. Excluding that, my stay was pleasant.

- Marta (10/5): Súper y cómodo. - Es enorme, está todo bien situado, tanto el espacio como las salas de estar, los baños, sala de cocina, espacio para fumadores, espacio de cine y libros. La ubicación es buena, si vas en coche, puedes aparcar fácilmente por la zona pero tienes que saber que en temporada alta se llena, por lo que tienes que situarte en horarios concretos. Está muy bien el hostal, volvería de nuevo.

Aunque la noche que pasé allí estaba más vacío, parece que se vive mucha comunidad. Justo enfrente tienen un escenario de conciertos y me tocó uno por la noche, no pude dormir hasta que acabó.

Air conditioning in the rooms and very comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast, well equipped kitchen. Great location, easy to walk into Sarandë and to local beaches. Many of the bathrooms didn't have toilet seats, which is not uncommon for Albania, you will find that in many places.

- Andrea (10/5): - Das hostel ist vom hafen zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist sehr großzügig und konfortabel, auch kreativ gestaltet. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut und ist angenehm leise. Das wlan ist sehr gut und man hat keine extrs Kosten. Es wird den ganzen Tag über geputzt, alles ist sauber. Es sind nicht zu viele Leute im Zimmer. Das Personal ist super freundlich, so wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Alle, besonders Myrian hat sich sehr um mich bemüht. Ich habe mich als ältere allein reisende Frau sicher und umsorgt gefühlt. Die Bootstour, die ich über das Hostel gebucht habe, war fantastisch und sehr entspannend, dabei noch preiswert. Pries/Leistung insgesamt sehr gut. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Andrea ❤

- Catherine (10/5): Great hosts, friendly social hostel and clean nice rooms. - Maryam and Alban were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and provided great recommendations. The hostel was one of the nicest ones I’ve stayed in my trip, there was a pool room, cinema room, lounge area and a book area with some history of Sirandë. It was also a nice social hostel with dinner and group outings offered. Room was comfy and clean with all the comforts needed. Would definitely stay again.
