The location is excellent - easy walking distance to Circular Quay, The Rocks, the Opera House, ferries, restaurants and bars, which made it very convenient for a short Sydney stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel had the general standard you would expect from a Marriott. Overall, it was a very easy and enjoyable stay in a great part of Sydney. I’d happily stay here again, particularly for the location and convenience. Nothing major to mention - we had a very comfortable stay overall. No real complaints from our stay, everything was easy, clean and well handled.

I "thought" I left my car keys at the room. I asked one of the reception staffs and her comment was "nothing was reported". the words were okay but her tone was not very friendly. It made me feel like I was asking something "stupid" or as if I wasn't a hotel guest. Was it because of how I dressed? my race? accent? It made my whole experience very disappointing...

Comfortable bed and shower. Able to easily get extra towels and the like. Affordable overall. Beautiful view of the harbour and the city in general. Adequate number of electrical outlets. There needs to be more than one adapter available to visitors from outside Australia. The room had only one such adapter in stock, so I had to go outside the hotel to purchase others. The fact is that most people worldwide do not have ANZ adapters.

- Kaori (9/5): Only stayed one night for going to the Opera House . Love to come back. - Location was excellent. Very close to Circular Quay station. Also our room had a bath tub which was my personal favourite. The room size was slightly smaller compared to the other place we stayed before.

The room was not the one I've booked, no City/Bay view at all unless you are in 30th floor, small lobby always packed with people in and out. Unless you complain a out the room received or the room service not being done, you don't get anything. It doesn't worth What I've paid for!

- Maria (9/5): - Location was excellent. It was close to everything. The cocktails in the bar were very good. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The Room Service Options. After 11:00pm there are not that many options. The cocktails in a bottle were expensive and you couldn't order fries or anything hot.

- Pablo (10/5): Perfect location and exceptional staff. - I loved the attentiveness of the staff, from the concierge staff to the restaurant staff my stay was made all the more memorable by how they made me feel as an individual and not a number, specially when accomodating my special request in regards to the luggage and allowing e to stay in the waiting lounge (sorry I forgot the proper name) until I was ready to go. The location of the Marriott is also extremely convenient if like me you intend on boarding a cruise from circular quay. My wife and mother in law with mobility problems managed the very short walk to embarkation with no problems. Apart from a few stray hairs in the bathroom the whole room was very clean. This is something minor that can be improved but in no means a deal breaker.

There were 3 of us staying but only 2 of each item was provided such as water, towels, dressing gowns. The tea was not restocked despite a 3 day stay and the surfaces were dusty and the bed valances were ripped

- Kim (9/5): We will stay at the Marriott Circular Quay each time we go on a cruise . - We were going on a cruise, so it was so close to the train station and the Overseas Cruise terminal. It was our Anniversary and they gave us a beautiful dessert plate. Thank you 😊

- Brian (9/5): Grand old lady now showing its age! - Excellent Club Lounge facility, excellent breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed the dinner canape options as well. Our room had an excellent view of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Great location close to circular quay. The staff were very obliging, when you could locate one! Our room was decidedly "dated," and requires a full refresh. Certainly wasn't at the Elite standard as advertised. Due to its closeness to Circular Quay the hotel is very popular with the cruise shop clientele. In fact too busy, unfortunately at the expense of meeting the requirements of its paying quests.
- Kidd (7/5): Very handy location. - Fabulous location but our room was a bit tired - bathroom especially needed a bit of a makeover. No hot water one day one and the room wasn't serviced until 5pm the same day. Things improved after that. Taps had glue or black stuff on them.

- Laura (6/5): - Location and restaurant and breakfast buffet We got upgraded to Room with a view but had to wait extra time for room to be ready. When it was, the room was not cleaned well. Mirrors dirty with prints, bathroom fixtures so dusty they've never been dusted, a leak in the shower (clearly shown by black mould in the grout/silicon) leading to really wet floors every shower. Carpets so dusty that triggered my husband's allergies. Room was not serviced one day, so had to call to remind them so our bins could be emptied, dirty cups replaced and wet towels from leaking shower be replaced. Carpets don't get vacuumed in room at all. Beds were too soft and lop-sided. No hot water for almost entire day.
