I especially liked the Espresso machine in the room and daily bottle waters. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and high tea. The airport limosine was very convenient for our return back to airport. Location was a bit out of the way. Subway is about 10 minute easy walk.

The breakfast spread was outstanding with great quality and variety every morning. The restaurant experience was equally impressive with delicious food and a very pleasant ambiance. What made the stay even more special was the incredibly warm, professional, and helpful staff. Everyone was always welcoming, attentive, and ready to assist with a smile, creating a very comfortable and positive environment throughout our stay. Highly recommended and definitely looking forward to visiting again! None

Mauvaise communication entre les sites de réservation et l’hôtel. - Très Beau hall Difficile d’accès à pied (comptez 10min pour faire le tour du bâtiment sur 2 étages et trouver la bonne entrée car mal indiquée par les gps) L’hôtel n’ayant pas suivi une mise à jour de mes informations, l’hôtel a annulé la réservation sans m’avertir. Une fois sur place le personnel de la réception n’a pas daigné faire un geste commercial et me proposait tout simplement la même chambre au double du prix réservé initialement. Sans possibilité de négociation. Au vu du prix aberrant proposé, Nous avons donc dû trouver un autre hôtel. Nous vous conseillons le Keio plaza (mieux placé, moins cher et très arrangeant avec un service de qualité et de très belles chambres)

Como está ubicado a unos 800 metros de la Estación de Trenes, Metro y Buses de Shinjuku de Tokio, el hotel provee un servicio gratuito de transporte en un bus del hotel entre la Estación y el hotel lo que resulta muy conveniente y cómodo. El hotel tenía como todos los Hyatt, frigo bar en nuestras habitaciones pero estuvo vacío. Sin embargo, en el subsuelo del hotel hay una tienda de conveniencia 7-Eleven en donde uno puede proveerse cómodamente de un refresco o algún bocadillo adicional.

One standout has been the exceptional breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Attentive service and great variety ranging from three types of Eggs Benedict , fresh fruit, salmon, pastries etc sprinkled in with traditional Japanese offerings. Breakfast art!

They assisted with our luggage, helped lift our pram on and off the shuttle bus, they more or less went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. It would have been better if the room and room spray provided as well. We were accustomed to other hotels providing us with room spray in the hotel room.

The rooms were spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views of Tokyo that made every morning and evening feel special. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent — modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and relaxation. Overall, this is easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The combination of exceptional hospitality, incredible food, beautiful rooms, and world-class service made our experience unforgettable. The desk clerk failed to return my passport after scanning it, which provided a few hours of panic the following day. I should have noticed, but it was 1:30 am after a flight delay, and I was very tired. Fortunately, the hotel found it later in the afternoon.
NatGeo7 (10/5): Great stay - We loved our stay in the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. It was our first time in Tokyo and the location was excellent, 10 min walk from Shinjuku station, plus another subway right next to the hotel too, which made travel easy. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom was also spacious and very pleasant. It felt sophisticated and luxury throughout the whole hotel. The food was also surprisingly amazing! Me and my partner needed to eat dinner around 9pm and lots of places were closed so we went to the hotel’s bar and ordered a burger and a sandwich - these were some of the best foods we ate on the trip, they were so delicious, and the atmosphere of the bar with the chandeliers was spectacular. I’d highly recommend. Thanks for a great first stay in Japan!

Yoon Kyung (10/5): A great find of gem in the middle of Shinjuku - View of Fuji Mt. and the park in front felt like a luxury in such a dense city like Tokyo, especially in a hectic area such as Shinjuku. Location was great in terms of streamlined, horizontal access from the Narita airport via Airport Limousine Bus, which took even less than we expected, thanks to the connectivity via city highway. We had plan to travel inside Japan by taking bus at the Shinjuku Bus Terminal, which is also very adjacent to the hotel. The shuttle bus service to the Shinjuku station area, packed with department stores and malls, was also very handy to access to the main Shinjuku area. I would definitely recommend the hotel if anybody is considering to stay in the Shinjuku area. I also appreciated the bathroom design which has separate compartment for the toilet, and the main bathroom area houses both separate shower booth as well as full size tub. And inside the room was also very spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed in Japan. The foods we've ordered for in-room dining tasted sub-par. The main menus were not the greatest but the sides they brought together (grilled fish and eggroll) tasted surprisingly great.

We didn’t know what to expect as it was part of a package tour, but the hotel was excellent, the staff are very helpful, rooms clean & spacious & the restaurants for both breakfast & dinner were very good. Lots of fresh fruit & both western & Asian choices. The same for the evening meal, plenty to choose from & delicious. Definitely value for money, would stay here again

The rooms are very clean and all the staff go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. The shuttle service to and from Shinjuku Station is a plus and was very welcome after a full day of walking. The breakfast buffet food quality was excellent and a great way to start the day. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay here again.

It’s in a very quiet part of town so you really needed to “travel” to get anywhere. There were a few places nearby to eat, but it was very much a business district vibe. They had a regular free shuttle bus to Shinjuku Station and we realised on one of our last days that there was another train station right underneath the hotel.

Twenty minutes of walking to get to Shinjuku station and the shopping areas might be too much for many people, but then you might appreciate the quiet surroundings, especially the nice park and shrine just across the street to the rear. Room service is unfortunately available only up to 10:00 pm. Nevertheless, everything would have been OK if not for the woman at the front desk who checked us in. She was curt and condescending. Lousy way to start a hotel stay.

sarahdU3912ZW (10/5): Highly recommend! - Our family had the best time staying at the Hyatt Regency in Tokyo -- as loyal Hyatt patrons this hotel has easily been one of our favorites. The rooms are well set up and have the basic amenities you expect, a bathroom separate from the shower/tub area which is always a plus and the rooms are kept so clean. The price was also just right for the value. The hotel's location is ideal as it is just a couple of minutes walk to the train station if that is your preferred method to get around the city, or they have someone located out front who can help you order a taxi or tell a ride-share where you need to get to. I would like to highlight a service we were very impressed with as well as an employee who really went above and beyond -- each day at breakfast we were warmly greeted by Fabio (who struck up a lively conversation with my husband about their shared love of motorcycles!) who remembered all of our coffee orders after the first day, he consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and made this a part of our day that we looked forward to. Fabio takes pride in his job and that helped make our experience top-notch by starting each day on a high-note. We will continue to patronize Hyatt hotels and cannot wait to return to their Tokyo Shinjuku location!

Fun times, and just couldn’t fault the Hyatt. Lovely rooms, a stellar buffet breakfast, great lobby bar, great views. And such friendly, helpful and attentive staff, they really made all of us feel welcome. Fabio especially looked after our every need over breakfast, in Australia he’d be known as a top bloke!

578wrenj (2/5): Poor experience due to hotel plumbing and odor issue - In the past I usually stayed at Andaz Tokyo and the experience was wonderful, so this time I decided to try some of the other hotels they have in Tokyo. I checked into Hyatt Regency Tokyo for a 6 night stay. After I got my room card and entered the room, I smelled a strong sewage odor coming out of the bathroom and permeating the whole room. I returned to front desk and asked if I can be switched to a different room. The front desk helped move me to a different room. However in the next 3 nights, I woke up everyday in the mid of the night by the strong sewage odor coming out of the bathroom and had really hard time falling back to sleep as I continue to smell it through the night. It was so bad so by night 4 I couldn't bear it anymore and request front desk to find a solution for this issue. As I was describing my issue with the smell, a lady standing next to me staying at the hotel chimed in and said she smelled it too in her room so it's not a single incident. The front desk switched me to a slightly bigger room with more renovated bathroom that seems to did the job. The last 2 nights I was finally able to sleep well and not smell any odor from the bathroom. But it's disappointing how a branded luxury hotel has malfunctioning bathrooms and plumbing in its standard rooms, causing these rooms to be inhabitable. This means if I were to stay with Hyatt Regency Tokyo again I am forced to pay for a deluxe room just to not smell order in my room and have good sleep. This has been my worst experience with Hyatt hotels so far. I wouldn't be staying at this hotel in the future if I visit Tokyo. I hope the hotel can fix this issue so other guest don't go through the same suffering.

I have stayed in this hotel since 2010 so long term customer, but the last few trips have just become a really bad experience, Sadley its lost in mojo at the cost of profiteering

Companion19326333208 (2/5): Avoid this hotel if you can - We booked 2 rooms for a Family of 6, when we arrived at the hotel there was no one to assist us with luggage, I went in and the luckily the girl at the checking came out to help us It was around 12:30 pm, noting Checking time is 2pm, so we started the checking and was told that 1 of the rooms were ready but the second room was still being cleaned, the rooms were next to each other, were given the swipe card for 1 of the rooms so we could go up and wait until the other rooms was ready We went up to the room that was ready, as the 2 rooms are next to each other I saw that the other room which we were told was would be ours the door was open and the room has been cleaned and in ready as well we waited for our luggage to be brought up, when they arrived rather then, putting all the luggage into the 1 room and having to mooved them later on we put the luggage into both rooms, and I relaxed and waited in the other room about 30 minutes which at that time was nearing 2pm so i went down to reception to get swipe car, noting i have been sitting in that room for over 30 minutes and no one came in to do anything because all the cleaning had been already done prior Downstairs at reception, I asked the for the swipe card for the second room and I also told them that my luggage was already inside, and i have been waiting in the room for over 30 minutes, the receptionist said they needed to confirm with the cleaning staff, I ok call and confirm, but the cleaning staff would not confirm because my luggage was inside, which i had already told them and have been waiting in the room for over 30 minutes and no one came to do any work and, it is now 2pm. The room was perfectly clean and ready since our arrival, but she still would not issue me the sipe card and called the duty manager, The duty manager asked me go upstairs to the room together, We got to the room and he could clearly see the room is clean and ready and my luggage is inside, all I needed was the swipe card, rather the doing that he took it to another level, saying i had done an illegal trespass and making it seem like i walked into another persons room, that was uncalled for, i told him the door was open the room was cleaned we were already told this is our second room, he tried to make it look as if Im person walking around entering open room, this was really uncalled for, kept asking who gave me permission who gave me permission i had to repeatedly tell we booked 2 rooms, the other one is next door and this was also told by reception that it was ours, he knew that but felt he had to assert his authority which was not called for, I told him the door was open and i put our lugage inside, I also suggested in future they may want to place a writing on the Cleaning in progress no entry, even though the cleaning had already finished, he reluctantly got me the swipe card and told me he would ban me from coming back, I will not be going back in anyway so good luck to him, Overall, Please note from my experience common sense has been replaced by policy and procedure and staff to stuck on hotel policy and procedure and in thinking procedure is legal law, If I was not with my family and child the escalation of the matter by the duty would have ended up been far worse

G5698KOkristene (10/5): Wonderful family stay in Tokyo! - We had a wonderful stay for our family of four in Tokyo. This hotel is in the business district and was a much quieter area to relax and rest during our busy vacation. Super quiet and great blackout blinds that helped us sleep after being jetlagged. We stayed in a corner king studio and it was so big for Tokyo standards and the two window beds were twin size and perfect for my 12 year old kids (and had plenty of space for them to sleep/relax). The bathroom was so well appointed and there was a walk-in closet. The breakfast buffet was great and the workout room on the 28th floor had incredible views of the city. The only drawback is that there is a lot of construction happening around Shinjuku station, so its a bit of walk from the hotel to access that train station (and the shopping on the other side of the station. They do have a bus that leaves a few times each hour. There is a closer station, Nishi-Shinjuku and also a 7/11, right under the hotel for those who want to try all of the fun food.

Although it was slightly removed from the main attractions, this turned out to be a blessing—especially given how busy Tokyo was during our stay—as it provided a peaceful escape. The staff were outstandingly kind and helpful, and the Italian gentleman at breakfast truly stood out; he was attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist. The shuttle bus made accessing the main subway lines easy, and there is also an underground line directly accessible from the hotel. Having a 7‑Eleven right beneath the hotel was an added bonus—perfect for grabbing those delicious egg sandwiches after a long day of sightseeing
