• Paul (8/5): Older but well-maintained property. Excellent Staff. Close to the heart of Hollywood. - Older property, built in 1935 as apartments, converted to hotel in 1980s. Renovated 10-20 years ago. Outstandingly friendly staff! Breakfast offered, but very limited (mostly carbs). Good WiFi. Extremely convenient to the heart of Hollywood - Dolby Theater, Walk of Fame, Magic Castle, El Capitan, Roosevelt Hotel, etc. Easy rideshare access. Surprisingly quiet. No elevator, but staff is happy to assist with luggage (we're in our 70s). Not sure of the neighborhood, but it seemed to be mostly smaller apartment buildings

Ontbijt was basic (verse wafels en getoaste bagels) maar lekker, en klaargemaakt door de supervriendelijke Patricia. De douche liet wat te wensen over; waterdruk was matig en warm water viel soms weg.

• Akira (9/5): 立地良し - イギリスのB&Bのようで、イギリスに慣れている私たちには懐かしい感じがしました。スタッフは全員フレンドリーで心地良い滞在でした。特に朝食でワッフルを作ってくれる女性はとても親切で最高、もちろんワッフルも美味しかったです。着いたときには静かな場所にある家のような宿だなと思いましたが、チェックインの際にスタッフが教えてくれた抜け道のようなトンネルをくぐると街の中心まで徒歩3分くらい、突然華やかな通りに出て、有名なドルビーシアターやチャイニーズシアターまで5分以内、スーパーのTargetもそのあたりにあり立地は最高です。今回、ドジャース観戦をメインにした旅行でしたが、ユニフォームなどのグッズを買うのにドジャースクラブハウスが徒歩1分くらいで非常に便利でしたし、スタジアムまでもUberで20〜30分、30ドルくらいで行けてまったく不便はありませんでした。 シャンプー、ボディーソープなどは無く、固形石鹸しかありませんので持参をお勧めします。部屋に入った瞬間、芳香剤のような匂いがきついですが、しばらくすると慣れてきました。部屋の防音はあまり良くないです。少し外れたところに行くと治安は良くない感じなので気をつけた方が良いです。

• Safari730712 (10/5): Excellent all round! - We loved the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel. The location is excellent - such a quiet street, directly behind the Ovation Shopping Mall. Easy for that morning coffee and direct access to Hollywood Boulevard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Our room was older, granted, but it was functional, large, quiet and clean. We loved the little kitchenette and the beds were comfortable. We had a Deluxe King suite with 2 separate rooms. I recommend requesting the upper floor as there is no sound from above rooms. Also down the back of the hotel is very quiet. We would absolutely stay here again if we returned to Hollywood.
• SABRINA (9/5): Nella Walk of Fame! - Questo piccolo albergo è situato in una delle parti più centrali di Los Angeles, vicinissimo alla walk of fame con tanti ristoranti e negozi. Il personale è gentile e disponibile sopratutto Alben alla reception. Il costo del parcheggio è di 22 dollari a notte, hanno servizio lavanderia a 4 dollari la lavatrice e altrettanti l'asciugatrice. Le stanze sono pulitissime e i letti comodi. Sicuramente lo risceglierei. La cosa che non mi è piaciuta è la colazione, poca scelta, solo dolce e niente salato e sopratutto poco spazio per sedersi quindi lunghe code, anche se la signora Patricia che fa praticamente tutto lei, è molto gentile e cordiale.

• Sarah Jane (10/5): - This charming little hotel couldn't be more central, yet far enough back from the strip to be quiet at night and feel very safe. Spotless clean, the room was bigger than expected and had everything we could possibly need. We were there 3 nights but could have happily stayed longer. The staff were so friendly, helpful and hard working. Particularly have to mention Patricia, who made us delicious waffles for breakfast every morning and made us laugh, lovely warm lady who made our stay with her kindness. The only thing I would warn is that the beds, although extremely comfortable, are quite high so if you were an elderly person or someone with mobility issues you might struggle getting into them. Other than that we couldn't fault this hotel for a really good value and comfy stay. Nothing

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel ! - Chambre spacieuse et confortable, petit-déjeuner copieux et délicieux avec de très bonnes gaufres. Un grand merci à Mickaël (désolés pour l’orthographe), le réceptionniste, pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Il nous a spontanément aidés lors d’un problème avec notre voiture de location, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous recommandons cet hôtel !

• Stefan Johann (7/5): Alles top, außer Parken und Frückstücksorganisation - bitte ändert das mit dem Frühstück der Gäste zuliebe - Alles top außer das Parken und das Frühstück. @Celebrity Hotel: Bitte ändert an der Organisation des Frühstücks was, in unserem 6 wöchigen Roadtrip nun durch die USA habe wir sowas noch nie gesehen, eine Dame die den Toast toastet und die Waffeln backt an der eigentlichen Selbstbedientheke, oft Stau, genervte Gesichter (zurecht) + genervte Backdame. Ganz komisches Frühstück dadurch, ansonsten wärs schon ok. Parken ebenfalls extremst eng, mit einem Standard US Pickup ohne zweiter Person die etwas Einweisung gibt teilweise nicht machbar.

• Jennifer (8/5): Es war wirklich schön und wir können uns definitiv vorstellen wieder zu kommen. - Das Hotel ist optimal gelegen, um ein L.A.-Abenteuer von Hollywood aus zu starten. Direkt um die Ecke ist man auf dem Walk of Fame und findet dort auch eine U-Bahn- und mehrere Bushaltestellen. Man sieht dem Hotel selbst und auch den Zimmern zwar an, dass sie schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel haben aber das ist kein Punkt für Kritik. Die Betten sind bequem, die Küche ausreichend ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber. Zum Frühstück gibt es Waffeln, Toast und verschiedene Bagels mit Butter, Frischkäse oder Marmelade und Erdnussbutter. Außerdem gibt es verschiedene Haferflocken und der Kaffee schmeckt wirklich gut. Die Küchendame Patricia, welche das Frühstück „verwaltete“, ist ein wahrer Engel und hat uns unseren Aufenthalt definitiv versüßt!

• Ivan Botello Castillo (8/5): Hotel Clásico, personal sumamente amable. - El personal del hotel es muy amable, principalmente la señora de los Wafles en la mañana es muy atenta y trata de llevar un buen control del desayuno que no es fácil ya que llega mucha gente. El hotel, en sí es lindo, algo viejo pero clásico, lo que uno esperaría de quedarse en la zona de Hollywood. Tiene todo muy cerca y caminando al paseo de la fama, teatros, etc. No hay que sacar el carro. El estacionamiento está relativamente cerca. Habitaciones de tamaño decente, aunque el baño un poco incómodo. A ver, como comentado el hotel es viejito, pero lindo. Por esto mismo las habitaciones son también algo pasadas de moda, y aunque regularmente la limpieza del hotel estaba bien, un día nos pasó que salimos a las 10:00 am (no tan tarde) y cuando regresamos no habían hecho la habitación. Definitivamente, si te vas a quedar varios días, piensa en opciones de desayuno además del hotel, porque es muy básico. Wafles y baggels es lo único que se maneja, no hay jamón, huevo o cualquier tipo de proteína o variedad de fruta, por lo que seguramente necesitarás un desayuno adicional antes del medio día. El estacionamiento es algo limitado, se recomienda no llegar muy tarde por la noche porque el riesgo de no alcanzar lugar es alto. Hay lavandería y está bien, solo que vimos que cierra algo temprano, lo cual limita mucho el uso para personas de vacaciones que no tendrán tiempo sino hasta la noche, para lavar.

O mesmo podemos dizer das pessoas da recepção. Quando eu cheguei, me deparei com um hotel bem simples. Me surpreendi com o excelente custo benefício. Poderia ter elevadores. Outro ponto é bem típico americano, mas me incomoda um pouco o chuveiro na banheira e a cortina

Staff was friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Parking was $22 in a small private lot behind the hotel. Overwhelming smell of either ant spray or cleaning compound near the lobby & breakfast area. Mostly dissipated on the 2nd floor (where our room was located) but I still smelled it in the room during the night. Hopefully, this was an uncommon situation.
