wannabefoodieHouston (8/5): convenient and comfortable here - We stayed her because it's near Disney property. As a matter of fact, this is a Disney Neighbor hotel. They do have a bus company that takes you to the various parks. Tips for the driver is highly hinted. The hotel staff is top notch! I've sent packages there ahead of my stay. One of them was misplaced, both front desk staff Louis & security staff Evon helped me looked and looked. And it was late in the evening, they still have great attitude and willing to assist. Really appreciated them. ( and yes they found it later). The value for the room is great. The location is a few mins from Disney Springs, if you want to walk it's about 30 mins. We Uber over to the the various parks and if you go off-peak time, it cost about $10-17. So between the room rate and fee for uber, it's still cheaper than staying on Disney Property. Worth staying here. The only complaint I have is the hat water for the sink. It took a long time to warm up, and I feel like I'm wasting water to get to my warm water. Also, housekeeping was a little too eager and threw out my shopping bags and cookie (untouched). That was not cool. Hotel restaurant and bar both have all the food you want. But if you want to eat something else, there are lots of places walkable for less than 5 mins to get there.
Warren (5/5): I feel fleeced out if $25 extra like I was pickpocketed. - The bed was comfortable The lobby area outside of the elevator was HOT as if the air conditioning was broken. I had to pay 25 plus taxes to park my car in their horrible parking lot that had a good portion blocked off for their $35 valet parking option. I only stayed there from midnight to 8AM. What a ripoff gouge my wallet cash grab. How the hell am I supposed to get there without a car? It should be included in the cost to stay there and offer a discount of you don’t need parking be to hadn’t planned on the additional charge and it was enough to make me remember.

We left our sons new swimsuit on AC dryer vent - and immediately sought to get it back in lobby. We were told we had to leave an online report despite just departing … so went through their process and even extended our time in Orlando just to get the suit set back... and the suit was never retrieved. The cleaning woman must have seen it and stole it for her own kids or grandkids. It was literally only thing we left behind last minute. Completely dishonest housekeeper (1st room on north side of 4th floor). This is how they treat top tier bonvoy members here.

darrenbR1362CD (4/5): Horrible Experience - My wife and I had a very disappointing experience here. What was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary celebration turned into a horrible and stressful experience. There were a number of things that were very disappointing for us that led to this review. First of all, the pool area was not well maintained at all. The bottom of the pool was visibly green, and there were a large number of leaves floating in the water. It gave the impression that cleanliness and upkeep are not being prioritized, which is especially concerning for a place that advertises resort-style amenities. The uncleanliness and poor maintenance made us feel like we got catfished. The pictures online depicted something very different than what was actually there. They need to definitely update their site pictures to reflect the actual condition of the resort so more people aren’t caught by surprise upon arrival. On top of that, we were woken up very early in the morning by loud construction noises. The construction made it extremely difficult to truly relax and get good rest. To make it even worse, there was no notice given about construction prior to arriving at the property. When we complained about the noise, we were advised that we were informed and that the information regarding construction happening was on their website, neither of those statements being true upon verifying with one of the managers. The most frustrating part of our experience was being told that I was not allowed to have my service animal with me due to not meeting the ADA guidelines, which is completely inaccurate because I have a diagnosed condition and need my service animal with me to help me with daily tasks. I expressed all this to the lady that helped us check-in and she still insisted that I wasn’t allowed to have my service animal with me. She then proceeded to speak with the security manager to verify the ADA regulations and contacted us letting us know that we were going to get charged a $250 “pet fee” since our service animal didn’t fall under the ADA guidelines. It turns out that the fee they charged us showed as “property damage” on our folio. Upon asking what the “property damage” fee was they told me it was the pet fee, so not only were we misinformed, but being charged to have a service animal on the property which is illegal since our dog is a registered and trained service animal. I have never had an issue bringing my service animal anywhere with me so this was very frustrating. The lady who helped check me in showed a lack of understanding of basic ADA regulations which was both inconvenient and concerning. Overall, between the poor maintenance, disruptive noise, and misinformation regarding service animals, I would not recommend staying here. I am typically not the type to complain or leave poor reviews but I had no choice but to leave a poor review about my stay. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the rooms were very clean, and most of the staff was pleasant and courteous. If you do end up staying here I hope it’s a better experience than we had, but we will not be coming back.

Haven’t met an employee yet that wasn’t personable or accommodating. Facility is large, with plenty of seating and amenities. Walking distance to enough things that you don’t have to fight the traffic. We’ve stayed at many Marriot properties in the past year and this has been the most pleasant. Solid place to stay.

engineer64 (8/5): Hotel Caters to both Disney and Universal Studios - The Sheraton was a nice choice for a Disney Area hotel. Its one of the few hotels that include shuttles to both Disney parks and Universal parks. The shuttle times are very limited; so if you want to go from opening to close, you will probably need a ride for . one of the trips. There is not a Bonvoy Members Lounge at this property. The Renaissance about a half a mile away, manages this with a daily resort credit and free breakfast. The resort was very clean and the food and service was great. I never found a channel guide on the TV- it would be nice for a tv channel guide or instructions. The wifi, HVAC, bathroom were all very good. It was a nice walk to Disney Springs - very safe on nice sidewalks and about a mile. That is more convenient than riding busses from most of the resorts. timk232 (10/5): Five star review for this hotel - from a Platinum Elite Member - As a Marriott Platinum Elite Member, I've seen all types of Marriott hotels. If you are looking for a stay in Orlando, then look no further than this resort. We had a fantastic long weekend stay with the Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort! My family and I were visiting the Disney Parks and wanted someplace convenient to the parks along with a hotel that also had great accommodations. The hotel is quiet, safe, clean and beautiful. My kids loved the amazing pool set up. Two large pools, a water slide, a basketball hoop, a volleyball net, and two large hot tubs with a bar/restaurant set up next to the pools. The five-star service was exceptional from the whole hotel but particularly from Diana K, Carlo and Ariel. The Disney parks are only a ten minute ride from this hotel. We already can't wait to return. Thank you.

The hotel wasnt able to accommodate the suite that we originally booked but they gave us two rooms close to make the accommodations. We got the newly renevated rooms they were very nice. The pool area is very nice as well. The parking and the resort fees do add up though.

The front desk this time has been absolutely amazing, especially Angelica. We were put in one of the newly renovated towers, and my daughter and I were so pleasantly amazed at how beautiful the rooms turned out. The whole Resort fee for daily charges to your room is unclear and no one who works there was able to explain exactly how it works. Bottom line $24/day with a $10 refund and a $12 voucher for a "free" appetizer seems at best a $22 value for $24 paid per day.

deborahcE8653XN (2/5): Disappointed - We stayed for one night in February 2025 and were glad it was only one night. The hotel needs remodeling as the room was dark and dated and the air conditioning didn’t work. We were moved to a different room after waiting a long time. Management was slow to respond to concerns which is uncharacteristic for a Sheraton hotel. Its location in the Lake Buena Vista area is excellent although our room was noisy as it faced the busy street. Hopefully they will make necessary changes as this is a great location for vacationers.
mellK367VX (10/5): Amazing staff Daniel deserves a raise - The rooms are outdated some sketchy stains on ceiling sliding door hard to open closes but the check in staff and bar staff-Daniel and his boss Mike— in particular went so far above and beyond to assist me as I was sick and walked and got me chicken noodle soup as Panera gave me half a cup with half a noodle lol. I never expected to go above and beyond like I was at the “w” whatever whenever. Amazing amazing amazing and made me give a 5 star review . Can’t beat service like that. Top notch service. Les than stellar room but very clean . Food very good
crystaldiannes (2/5): Do not stay here!!! - I have no idea how this hotel is allowed to keep the Sheraton brand. It is absolutely disgusting. I’ve stayed at many of these hotels and this is just so awful. It is so run down and old. It needs a complete remodel. The first day we got there they had no hot water. Rather than telling us at check in they waited for us to attempt to shower at 10pm. They then wasted our time saying that a maintenance person would come up when it was a boiler problem. We waited 30 minutes and messaged on the app as it was then after 11 pm. The girl then said no one was coming. A few other days we had issues as well and were told to let it run for 10 minutes. The light beside the bed flickered the whole time you turned it on. I unplugged it as seemed like it was a safety hazard. The blow dryer surged non stop while using. Did not seem safe. Seems to be electrical issues in the room. Everything was rusted that could be rusted. The bathroom was nasty. Cracked tub and the toilet was dirty. Looked like old pee around it. Back of the door was dirty. The curtains in the room were old and brown when they were suppose to be white! This hotel even charges a nightly resort fee!! Shocking as it is no where near a resort. It is closer to a motel 6. Buffet breakfast was ok. The bacon was sitting in over an inch of grease. I had to soak it off with the napkins. Why can’t they just change the tray with new bacon rather than stacking new bacon in the grease filled tray. Gross. The pool was so old, dirty and run down, we did not step foot in it. Dirty chairs and paper thin ripped towels. The pictures of this lush resort you see in the Marriott app are a complete scam. Shame on you Marriott for trying to fool your loyal customers. The location is good and the beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly throughout as well. The price was ok but I stayed at a delta across the street previously and it was cheaper and way better hotel. We chose this one because of the pool photos online but they were so gross we would not use them. We should have changed hotels as soon as we arrived but we didn’t want to try and deal with it all at 10 pm. Luckily we were gone all day at the parks but I will never stay here again. Not even if it was free.

dbish33 (8/5): Nice business trip - Great location with a beautiful tropical pool area with bar. The hotel is undergoing some construction, so there are some noise issues. Water was also shut off for 8 hours two of the days I visited. My room was nice, but the outside noise is easily heard…car horns, truck backup sounds, street traffic. If you get an interior room/ pool view, you can probably eliminate that concern. I had lunch here two days and the food is pretty good.

This was appreciated because I was attending a workshop at the hotel the same afternoon. This was a nice bonus. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good amount of items to choose from. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The pool area looked very nice. The only downside (which is no fault of the hotel staff) is that the traffic noise is crazy (I was in main building facing the road) most of the night.

SPG100Guest (10/5): Orlando's Hidden Gem - This hotel is a perfect hidden gem just minutes from WDW and Universal, AND it is walking distance to some very tasty food. The hotel is clean, well lit, and safe. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is large and diverse, and even the gym is kept well stocked and clean. This is the only off-Disney hotel you should consider for a WDW trip! :)

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I really appreciated the attention to detail — everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect, and the amenities made my stay even better (especially [you can add specifics like “the pool,” “the breakfast,” or “the view”]). It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so special!

Sonic3605 (2/5): Look elsewhere - Outdated and doesn’t honor Marriott early check in for lifetime titanium status. Breakfast is basic, hotel needs renovations. Tub is old and tap leaks, patio is a joke, loud noise from traffic. We did early check in in the app and moved here from our Disney hotel at noon. Front desk said the hotel was over booked and we couldn’t get a room till 4pm. No apologies. We were part of a larger group and several of them moved to another hotel. One guy said there was mold in his ac and he was getting sick so he switched hotels I wouldn’t stay here again, glad it was only two nights and we were gone all day.
lizacL8050FO (2/5): Where to begin. dank, dirty, smelly, moldy, and infested - It’s horrible. I walked in, smell of cat pee hit me in the face. Water stains over the bed and all over the ceiling. Small bugs crawling all over. Found them on me at night. Looks like they just keep repainting over things and it’s peeling and bubbling like crazy. It’s just terrible. I’ll never send a client there! EVER! It’s so bad. Please don’t do it! Online photos are deceiving!

'Jennifer (2/5): Avoid this Hotel - The location was good Parking lot was being worked on, so limited parking. My key card wouldn't work on the back parking gate where I was forced to park. I had to go back and forth to the front desk a total of 5 times and wasted 15 minutes after I checked in doing so. The back parking lot was dark and a bit sketchy, not well lit. There were no obvious doors to access the hotel buildings from the back parking lot. I had to call the front desk for instructions and was hung up on! The room itself was very worn down, dated, not very clean and had a funny smell. The plumbing under the sink had a leak and someone just wrapped the pipe in hand towels I checked in just before midnight and there were no other hotels (reasonably priced) available or I would've just left this dump. I travel for work and stay in all types of hotels at different price points, this place was the worst I've stayed in in a few years. I was awakened at 7:15am by trucks backing up and being unloaded (loudly). It wouldn't have bothered me IF I were told in advance there was construction, I would've been prepared and could've decided to book elsewhere. The staff didn't seem to care I was having issues accessing the back parking lot or having trouble finding access to the building to get to my room. The unbothered attitudes of the staff and the obvious wear and uncleanliness of the hotel were enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I will normally hang out at a hotel and explore the amenities, I couldn't get out of this place fast enough the next morning.

John was the registration clerk when I checked in and he was so friendly, funny, kind, and helpful. I had questions and he was patient and engaged while finding the answers for me. He was fantastic! Great hotel, great stay! Don’t hesitate to stay with them!

mikefaud1 (10/5): A fantastic hotel - Always a wonderful stay. It is said there is no place like home, but this hotel comes very close when we stay there. The staff under Julio's direction is fantastic and makes you feel special. I want to thank Danielle at the pool as she is the most attentive person working at a pool and it makes us happy to see her. Stephanie is fantastic and her energy makes the guest appreciate this hotel even more. Thank you all for a great stay
Monica (8/5): - Close to much Orlando has to offer. It is outdated and undergoing renovations, so, if a 4-5 star hotel expectation at a 3 star price, not for you. Hotel is clean, pool area very nice. They have shuttle options to Disney. If you do not plan on being at your hotel a lot and room mainly to sleep and shower, consider saving money and staying here.

629chrisw (8/5): Good hotel, limited amenities. - Good option for a hotel in the area. The people are all very friendly and we enjoyed our stay even though we had multiple issues (of my own making) that they dealt with well. Just be warned the amenities dry up pretty early and you are left with vending machines. There is no full service restaurant that we could use, just a basic breakfast buffet.
Ashley (10/5): - When I first booked this hotel, I did so because my sister was staying at the same time as we were so it was a matter of convenience. Upon arriving, we got in extremely early which was no problem to the staff and no extra charge to me to check in. Room was clean, ac wasn’t working but when notified they had electricians come in immediately and replaced unit. Location is central to many places well within walking distance or quick Uber. The pool had two areas plus a jacuzzi and a small splash pool pad for children. All in all I would stay again.

Anna (8/5): Great place to stay! Would highly recommend! - Great location and easy to find! Staff are as very nice and friendly welcoming! Loved having a Starbucks in the parking lot and a lot of restaurants you can walk to nearby! A little older building but nothing that would turn me away!
