Our king room during our first stay was spacious and comfortable, this room was comfortable, though not spacious. The staff were helpful and polite. I would not recommend the double room with two kids and two adults. More our own fault for not doing better research.

- Barbara (8/5): Aside from some things that I should be changed my overall experience was wonderful. I stayed for - Location, historical elevator was fun! Love the antique desk on the third floor and love the vibes on the building. Bed was delicious and warm wool was Devine. Ambiance was superb and loved my view. Such a beautiful historic al hotel and the staff omg were so helpful and wonderful. Truly loved it. I don’t care for the new style of modern bathroom at all! Bathrooms in the room didn’t have a door to cover the shower. Water was spilling everywhere ! Had to use a bunch of towel to make sure I didn’t slip and none would go into the bedroom. Not happy at all. Also surprised there wasn’t a trash can in the bedroom or bathroomOr an additional toilet paper roll. Or a little box for the countertop. Bathroom also didn’t have any space in the sink to place my creams. My box of face washes kept falling in the sink and I even got my towel wet. So no storage or appropriate place for that No place to store intimated or cloths like drawers so had to figure out where to place things.

- Alfonso (5/5): Bonito por fuera pero incómodo por dentro. Seguro que no repetiré - Ubicado cerca de Miracle Mile y oficinas en Coral Gables. Se puede ir andando. Tiene dos parking cerca, aunque no tiene valet parking para recibirte el coche. La habitación muy pequeña. En el armario no cabe casi nada. Solo cuatro perchas y un par de baldas pequeñas. El resto ocupado por un minibar (vacío) y por una caja fuerte. Si vas en pareja y por más de un día, tienes que dejar la mayoría de la ropa en la maleta. El cuarto de baño es pequeño y no hay casi espacio para dejar las cosas. Es necesario recogerlas a diario. Muy poca luz en la habitación. Solo se ilumina el lugar donde está la cama. El armario no tiene luz y si quieres ver lo que vas a coger, tienes que iluminarlo con la linterna del teléfono móvil. Al llegar hacía mucho frio y fue necesario bajar a recepción a pedir mantas ya que en la habitación no había (no caben en el armario).

- Judith (8/5): The hotel is clean and well managed. It would be helpful if more attention was paid to how the room functions for guest - It is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bedside lamps hang very low and make it easy to hit your head. There are no hooks in the bathroom and no place to hang wet towels.

- Parisa (8/5): - Cute place, looks like a European hotel, and is located in a great part of Coral Gables, so you can walk everywhere. The bathroom was great, with a fantastic shower. My only minor observation was that the front desk clerk was a little austere and could be a bit more friendly. They offered free breakfast, too, which I was not even aware of until the next morning.

Also, the staff is very professional and courteous. I would like to give extra kudos to Laura who made sure we had all we needed. We thought the breakfast offerings were less than the other two times we’ve stayed.

- Kathleen (10/5): - I love old hotels! And while this one was almost 100 years old, it did not feel like it except in the original 1926 hand operated elevator. The staff was wonderful, fetching an umbrella when we were headed out in a terrible rain storm. And we were safe and comfortable. Zucca, the first floor restaurant, OMG, so amazing!

They have the old time elevator where you have to close the gate, the key for the room was an original brass key that you put in the old fashioned door lock and turn, the room was so clean, no carpeting just nice hardwood floors, the bed was so comfortable, the tub and shower were all marble and oversize, they gave you these cute robes, I had a wonderful stay! BTW I went to the Italian Restaurant Zucca down stairs to eat (it was packed with ppl), the food was good (but not great like I expected) and very overpriced.

Location, location, location....walking distance to many restaurants and clubs. So convenient to just patk, stay and walk to whatever you want to do. No driving and parking hassles.

Zucca, an Italian restaurant, is conveniently situated at the hotel's entrance. The establishment maintains a high standard of cleanliness and tranquility. While on-site parking is unavailable, valet services are provided, along with nearby parking garage and street parking options. The staff consistently delivers exceptional and welcoming service. I anticipate returning for future stays.

It was a great value and the attached restaurant is very nice. If you want a gym and pool this is not the place, but if you want a reasonable stay close to tons of restaurants this is it.

The staff were very accommodating and the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I loved riding in the elevator attended by a staff member to add some living history, and the Zucca restaurant located at the hotel had delicious food. In shower, hard to get hot water. The bathroom could be upgraded.
