- Giedrė (7/5): OK option, good breakfast - Enjoyed the high floor view. Japanese type toilet. The room was comfortable, design is good, not exceptional. The room felt spacious, bed was comfortable. The breakfast is of wide variety, perhaps worth the price. The swimming pool was under construction, we were warned about it upon arrival, yet the whole pool are did not feel welcoming. SPA services were very disappointing. It seems like western brand hotel should maintain western standards, but the SPA, massages were so much worse than SPA centers. Washing service cost is per item only, which makes it expensive, especially when comparing to other hotels were they price per kilo. Not sure if any additional services are worth the price. Weird bathroom design where water is supposed to run on the floor.

- kevint611 (2/5): Disappointed Experience - I stayed here for a few times and beside it's dated room, I quite like this property (previously). However, I am very disappointed with Novotel Thai Ha this time. I requested for a higher floor, quiet, and non-smoking room. But what was given to me was a room at 4th floor, with a drinking/gambling club on the same floor. Very strong cigarette smell on the floor. I noticed a few strangers (not hotel guests and not staff with uniform) on that floor and use the "private door" to go out. Luckily my room card wasn't working, I got a chance to went down again to request a change of room. But the whole experience made me very uncomfortable. For a moment in the 4th floor, I was wondering whether am I really at Novotel group of hotel??? Not to mention about the dated room with poor maintenance. Plus that ridiculous and stupid bathroom/toilet design. Inconsistent hot/cold water. Ms Thao is kind of rude this time. Cold face, no smile and not friendly at all during my check out. All she bother is whether I consume the minibar. I will never come back again. With the price that you are paying to this property, you can have many more options in Hanoi.

- Luong (5/5): - Phòng rộng rãi, sạch sẽ. Nhân viên rất chu đáo (cả lễ tân, NV phòng, và nhà hàng) Phòng hơi có mùi ẩm mốc phía ghế sofa, không rõ mùi từ sàn hay nệm ghế hay màn che. Khu vực sảnh nhà hàng (khi vừa ra khỏi thang máy) có mùi khá nồng, phía trong thì ổn hơn, không có mùi. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Front Office Manager Quoc Huy and his wonderful team. A special thank you for the thoughtful birthday setup. We were also pleasantly surprised when staff from the front-desk to restaurant wished us well for Birthday. Linh also remembered my stay from four years ago at an Accor property in Phú Quốc. This kind of genuine recognition truly reflects the heart of this hotel’s impeccable hospitality. If you’re planning a stay, do book the spectacular Suite Room. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the spacious bathroom features a beautiful soaker tub, double sinks, and a stunning 180-degree city view. Waking up to the Hanoi skyline was simply nice. The InBalance Gym is impressively well-equipped, perfect for a proper workout. Afterward, we enjoyed a relaxing dip in the outdoor saltwater pool — ideal for those sensitive to chlorine — followed by time in the jacuzzi and steam bath. It was the perfect way to unwind. Dining at the hotel is another highlight. The restaurant offers delicious Korean, Western, Indian, and Vietnamese delights. I especially loved the Korean zhajiang mian and the chicken and beef pho — both absolutely satisfying and full of flavor. Happy Hour at the Executive Premier Lounge was truly memorable thanks to Quynh and Minh, who exemplify exceptional customer service. They were attentive and helpful from the moment we stepped into the lounge until the time we left, making us feel completely valued and at home. The exceptional customer service, beautiful hotel facilities, excellent room amenities, and central location make this hotel second to none in the city — whether you are a business traveler or vacationer. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning!

- Ngo (10/5): Great vacation - It’s location. There are lots of shops around. It’s located near Chùa Bộc- a very popular fashion shops street. There is a Nét Huế restaurant close by if you want to try central Vietnam cuisine. 2 of our rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and a washing machine. The steam room is good Gym is small but good enough for some exercises during holidays.

Nevertheless, the service level from the staff is way below par and definitely not worth to be a 5 star hotel. I don't feel welcomed to the hotel as a guest nor respected by the team. Despite having provided feedback complaint to the hotel for over a month, there is no follow up nor feedback of any sort in return, just like throwing a rock into the ocean. Why bother to send out customer satisfaction survey if it won't be read any way? It is such a waste of time and energy to have any sort of interactions with the hotel

- Ciska (10/5): I would recommend and return! - The hotel was very clean and comfortable, from the moment you enter you are greeted with friendly and welcoming staff who are willing to help in any way possible. The rooms had everything you needed, the views are an added bonus. As I stayed due to a conference, a lot of my fellow colleagues also stayed at the hotel. Thus the lifts were a bit busy at certain times, but this was not the fault of the hotel itself. There is nothing I did not like to be honest. I had an exceptional stay and would recommend this hotel.

- AsadSumbal (4/5): A very poor start - My stay at this facility has just started. I am here for a corporate event. Concierge service is non existent. Pulled the bags out of the ride all the way into the lobby and then up to my room. Check in took way longer than required when the reception desks were free. Customer care refused complimentary water despite my attempt to explain that I needed it for personal health/medical purposes. I was asked to walk to the nearest Circle K (7 Eleven) to get water which I had to (this is my first such experience after years of travel in the region). Not an auspicious start. Will update the review based on my complete experience once I check out in about 6 days.

- Jenny (5/5): Passable - The location of Novotel Thai Ha is close to get to local areas where the locals would usually be located but I wouldn’t advise this place for anyone wanting to visit places like Old Quarter town and tourist destinations as it’s a bit far out from it. I have previously stayed at Novotel Thai Ha in the past and it has exceeded my expectations but this time I have been shocked. The hotel has deteriorated quickly. The room felt old, bathroom wasn’t as clean and regardless of booking oke of their most premium rooms there was no welcome delights like there was previously when I stayed. I travel to Vietnam every year and stay at Novotel Thai Ha every time so it’s not like I haven’t been in a while.

She is very humble and nice lady. On our 1 call she came to reception while we were checking out and helped us lot.
- Arabinda-NanditaP (4/5): MALE CULTURE IN SAIGON NOVOTEL WAS DISGUSTING - The a/c in our Apartment never worked at 22.5 C. on reporting they ultimately dropped in a FAN, as the man war requested to connect it in-between two beds in their Apartment type room, he was unhappy. He could not connect as the fan chord was much shorter than needed. So, he looked at me--- I said , you need to get an extension chord, he posed not to understand English. ultimately, he was convinced to solve the issue and after a wait for 20 minutes this guy came back with an extension chord. For that night we slept with a FAN, in an expensive, non-functional A/C room. The front dest that evening at all Male workers, all silly RUDE. Next morning, I went back and found a Lady manager, she came to the room with their TECHNICIAN ( he was in the room previous evening and did not fix the issue and posed not to understand ENGLISH-- Cheat). This man fiddled around with two AC's but the room could not be at 22-23 C, much higher, about 28-30C. But the Lady manager was nicer than previous night's staff-- all MALE, bloody Rude. She helped us for many other booking to find decent hotels in various cities we were planning for next 28 days trip in Vietnam. The rude male lot of previous night were TOTALLY un-helpful even in solving the A/C issue. We have used Novotel --Accor group of hotels in the past 20 years as an ACCOR MEMBER but never faced issues as it was in Saigon.

- 511ranjanab (2/5): Terrible experience for indians - Terribly rude staff and people. Right from the day we checked in we felt some negative behaviour towards Indians. Checkin wasn't smooth Breakfast buffet has indian food but it tastes so bad that none of the Indian guests even touched it. Hard idlis and poori were like some roasted papad. They need to be more friendly and hire some good indian chef to prepare indian food and understand indian tastes since nearly 40 to 50 % guests were indians

Especially thanks to Lynn who does everything she can to make you feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. A wonderful hotel where I would be happy to return. I like the Spa also.

We cannot understand why more information was not provided about the availability of the restaurant. In fact the only available information suggests it is closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with a food exchange later in the week. No wonder it was empty! We actually ate there on the Tuesday evening and it was fabulous. Why the opening times/dates were not openly advertised is anyone’s guess. Also the information on the room TV was poor and out of date.

Even after I showed him my receipt, he still insisted I never paid. He was very rude and impatient about it. When I checked out, they then said I already paid. The check out staff was very friendly and polite. I have stayed here a few times before and the check in staff were always very friendly. Except this time, the check in staff was very rude.
- RvMDl (8/5): Good option in Hanoi, some improvement opportunities - I was in room 1708. Room was very large, feels more like an studio/small apartment than a hotel room. It's a setup that starts with a kitchen, walk in closet, shower+toilet, bedroom and living room. Very big. Bed was comfortable, pillows were good, quite unique in that they had a semi double pillow attached to each other. Did not see it before. Check in was smooth. Couple of opportunities or feedback: -From my room, I could hear 100% clear the shower/toilet usage in the room next door. As in, I could hear almost as if I were in the shower next room the water flow, the tap open, etc. Not sure this has an "easy" fix but I thought of sharing, specially for those who have a sensitive ear. -Breakfast was large and ample, but I would say overall quality was maybe a 6 out of 10. I think the management could fine tune the overall breakfast experience, including food quality.
- SalmaJ (10/5): Fantastic Family Stay ! - Our family of four (two adults, two kids) had a wonderful week-long stay at the Novotel Hanoi. We booked a King Studio, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The room was truly huge, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. A real highlight for us was the kitchenette, especially the washing machine with a drying function – a lifesaver when traveling with children! A special shout-out must go to the exceptional room cleaning team who kept our space spotless throughout our stay. Breakfast was generally good with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, after seven days, the repetition did become a bit tiresome, and a more frequent refresh of the offerings would be a welcome improvement. Additionally, the Indian corner wasn't quite up to par with our expectations. Aside from these minor points, our experience was exactly what we've come to expect from Novotel – consistently reliable and without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we found the staff across the entire hotel to be friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained. Overall, we had a fantastic family stay at the Novotel Hanoi and would definitely recommend it, especially the King Studio for families needing extra space and the convenience of a kitchenette.

Anyone who have intention to stay at this hotel must be careful of their return process while checkout.

Eventhough Staff was having a hard time speaking English they tried their Best to accommodate you. It was a very convenient location. We felt safe and comfortable staying into this hotel. However, if you go for a tour check the tour agency first because this is away from old quarter. Overall, thank you Novotel Hanoi for the great assistance while we enjoyed our holidays.
