Klimatyzacja działała bardzo słabo, przez co w pokoju było chłodno. Dla porównania gdy w domu włączę klimatyzację na 30 minut, to mam bardzo nagrzane całe piętro, tutaj mimo iż klimatyzacja była włączona na 2-3h to w pokoju było nadal chłodno. W kuchni również było chłodno podczas śniadania. Łóżko bardzo skrzypiało przy przekręcaniu się na bok.

• Emma (10/5): - Right from the start communication with Irene was exceptional. Irene answered questions quickly and was very friendly and accommodating. Although not advertised, Irene made every effort to cater to our dietary requirements for breakfast which was really appreciated. The online guide supplied when we booked was very informative and we loved being slightly outside of the busy centre of Florence and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the accommodation and area. It didn’t take long to walk to all the usual sights and being close to the river made for a lovely walk into the centre. Our room was so spacious and quiet. The air conditioning was really welcome too so we Could avoid the mosquitoes! The staff on hand every morning were so friendly and helpful and made everything a breeze. A fantastic stay and highly recommended. Thank you to the team at Residenza Cecchi! ❤️

• Bruce (10/5): Exceptional - our stay at residenza cecchi was delightful in every way. I contacted Irene before we arrived and she was so helpful with offering suggestions what to see, what to pre-purchase tickets for etc. When we arrived we found a very clean, well decorated, typical B&B with all visitors under one roof with a common eating area. We didn't see Irene while we were there but her staff went above and beyond to help us with arrangements for our stay and provided freshly baked pastries every morning. Great stay, highly recommend. Could have served breakfast a little earlier and more options but it was fine.

Otherwise, yogurt, fruit, mussilii, bread with cheese and meats, hard boiled eggs, croissants and assorted pastries, juice, milk coffee!
• Damon (9/5): Nice Florence B&B - Room and shared bath (by 3 rooms) was clean and comfortable. The room furniture and decor gave it a "Florence" feel. Hosts we're very gracious and the breakfast was very good. A little far from city center but it was nice to experience a quiet, local neighborhood.

We stayed in a beautiful room and the whole stay was altogether charming. The breakfast was tasty and the room was clean. We also enjoyed the walk along the river into town. That was exact opposite of our expereience with accommodation in Pisa, but less said soon mended there. Bus 23 direct into Florence very near accommodation. Overall a great stay.

Short bus ride from the centre (or a 30 minute walk). Nice to get away from the crowds in the evening and very nice restaurants on the doorstep.

Excellent dining options within walking distance; even a laundromat and a grocery store within a 5 min walk. From the day we booked our stay here the host Irene kept us informed of the check in process, and ensured our stay was comfortable. On the days we left early for our local day trips she made us breakfast to carry so that we didnt start our day on an empty stomach. Overall very much satisfied with this BnB.

There is no desk or human to greet you, although Lucy, the delightful young woman who is there to set up breakfast and help with check out makes up for it! This is a great location - several great restaurants nearby, a good bus #23 service to Centro, although it’s a nice, 20 minute walk to the Duomo.

• Keaton (10/5): - This is such a beautiful B&B. It is a reasonable walk out of the city centre, but I enjoyed the quiet location in a character home. The room, view, garden, and breakfast were all amazing. I would recommend this property to everyone.
• Sarah (10/5): - We are so happy we booked a stay with Residenza Cecchi. It's off the beaten track but well worth it to escape the crowds on the side of the river. We were able to explore the Oltrarno neighborhood which feels much more relaxed than the main tourist spots. We had no problem getting around, but expect to walk a fair bit since it's a bit further out. About 30-35 minutes walk to near the Santa Maria Novella. The B&B itself is beautiful. Quiet, well-appointed, and Lucy - the staff member who took care of the breakfast - was so warm and welcoming and friendly. What a sweet person! She made our stay that much more enjoyable! We stayed in the Blue room, and the bed was large and very comfortable, with excellent AC to help us cool off. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was simple but perfect European fair, with Lucy helping us make cappuccinos each morning. Last but not least, there are two cats that made appearances at breakfast each morning, which as a cat lover, really put the whole experience over the top for me. I can't recommend this place enough! If you want a quiet, welcoming, warm stay in Florence far from the chaos of the crowds.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy and cozy B&B - Absolutely lovely place to stay. Classic Italian breakfast of pastries and assorted meats and cheeses, perfect way to start the day. Room was cozy and airy with plenty of space to move around. There are several cats and even a very friendly turtle in the small backyard. Short walk from main bus line to get you downtown. Definitely will try to come back in in Florence again.

• Nancy (10/5): Home Away from Home - A simply wonderful stay in Florence thanks to Irene and Lucia. Probably the most comfortable bed we've had in all of Italy! Breakfast is perfect too. We had a day trip into Siena that had us leave before breakfast would be served but Luci packed us up a small take away breakfast for our trip the night before. We also enjoyed a local wine and antipasta out in the back courtyard one evening, making it feel like we were in our own back yard. 5 minutes to bus stop, 30 minute walk into town. Truly a wonderful experience!

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices although I would have lined it to start before 830. I also did not realize that there was a shared bathroom but in 5 days this was only an issue once. I really liked walking the neighborhood beyond the tourist regular locations. Thanks for a nice stay.

• Lindsay (10/5): Loved it! - My husband and I stayed for two nights. It was a place we looked forward coming back to after a long day of sightseeing in Florence. There is a bus stop very close to the stay that will take you to the main area of the sightseeing in Florence.

I personally don’t want to share a bathroom because of germs and not having to the leisure when I wanted to use the bathroom. If you are ok with that then it’s great.

• Julia (10/5): - I think it is family owned and feels like a home more than a hotel! Location was good, bed was comfy, breakfast was also very good. There are some cats sometimes that come around, which can be positive or negative. just tell the people if you are allergic or dont want them around.

The neighborhood is super cute, it is out of the super touristy area, and it's a beautiful walk to city center on the water. Breakfast was very good, so was the coffee. Would highly recommend.

• Maya (10/5): A magical place in a quiet neighbourhood - This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s a cozy house with a cute interior. The room was very comfortable, there was everything we needed. The bathroom is shared between guests but it was clean and pretty comfortable. The breakfast was nice, a little bit of everything. The staff was great and helpful as well. The location was good, it took us about 20-30 minutes to walk to the main sights. There’s also a bus spot not far away so you could use public transport if you don’t feel like walking. But for us it was a real pleasure to enjoy the views and explore Florence outside of the main sights. The owner also has everything very well organised, there’s a home book with all the information you could need on the property and city. Thank you very much for creating such a magical place! It definitely made our Florence trip even more memorable! ❤️

Spotlessly clean, much quieter than the other side of the river, and spacious, well-equipped room and good WiFi. The breakfast was excellent, in a lovely room with a pretty patio and garden out back. Two full bathrooms meant there was plenty of availability for all the guests. Very good price, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to a friend coming to Florence in April. It would be great for a larger family staying together. They could rent the entire place.

There were also some fruits left in kitchen for guests. Rooms were roomy and clean. Comfort bed with proper linen. Very pleasant balcony where we enjoyed our afternoon espressos (and wine :)) ). Room doors could be more soundproof.

Breakfast was excellent as well! Located in a neighborhood with more locals and a bit of a walk to the city center (we still did it with no troubles) but close to Piazzale Michelangelo. Would recommend!
• Adrienne (10/5): Immaculate, peaceful and extremely comfortable - The Residenza Cecchi team made our stay in Florence an absolute dream. The house itself was beautiful, from the entry way to the dining room and the rooms themselves. Everything was spotless and the breakfast in the morning was incredible. Irene and her team went the extra mile for my daughter and me when we had early starts and missed breakfast hours, and coming back from a busy day in central Florence to a beautiful home on a quiet street was wonderful. Getting to town was simple by the number 23 bus from the stop 1minute walk away and only cost €1.50 to travel to the heart of Florence. We would recommend Residenza Cecchi to all those visiting Florence. We loved everything :)

• Rebecca (9/5): Very pleasant stay at Residenza Cecchi - Really beautiful B&B. Has a very timeless feel with the decor inside. Room had a nice comfortable bed and the space felt like a good size. The breakfasts were wonderful. The place is very peaceful and Irene our host was so friendly and considerate. Had a ‘home away from home’ feeling to it. Nothing really to dislike.

• Brad (10/5): Would stay again :) - Self-service was lovely and English translations were offered around the b&b. Staff were kind and helpful when approached. Other guests were polite and considerate of shared bathroom and designated quiet hours. Breakfast is well stocked. Bedroom spacious and simplistic. Not a fan of the bedding, a duvet between two sheets, the top of which was a little itchy but easily solved by tuck and folding the undersheet to be on top. Rest of the bed was lovely, though 4 pillows was excessive given how large each one was (one was comfy enough)

• Matthiew (9/5): The cocoon in Florence - In a vintage decoration, we felt in a cocoon. Comfortable, very clean and friendly our days there were great! Florence is a city that we loved and walked a lot to see all the museums. So, it was a relief really to know that in the end of the day we were going to our cute bedroom to rest. In the morning, the breakfast was like when you grandmother wants to pleases you, at least it was my sensation, I had the same felling when I was a child and she used to prepared the amazing table with delicious food. Anyway, It had everything we like in quality. Thank you Irene for that lovely experience!

• Marcelo (9/5): Superb - Our host was very atentious and the quality of the furniture in the bathroom and decoration options along with the products in the breakfast were amazing. Excellent location outside the very touristic area of Firenze and access to very good restaurants in < 5 min walk. The acustic isolation is not optimal but this is due to the building structure (historical building), so there is not much to do about it. Further, the host's beautiful cat did not show up in the second day at breakfast, we loved him/her! :D
