• Ashlee (6/5): Its not worth it.. 😕 - We were displaced from our home and needed a place to stay while our home was being fixed. We loved the location, the staff was SO nice. Breakfast was ok. It wasnt a 5 star meal every day but my 3 children were very happy with it. I was not. 1. Our room was GROSS. Dirty curtains, mold/mildew smell the moment you walked in, the windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in many ages. 2. Our building was the farthest from the office/pool that you could go. 3. We didnt have enough silverware, no dish soap or sponges were provided, and we had 1 pot and 2 lids to cook with. We ended up having to go buy our own plastic silverware, paper plates, cookware and cleaning supplies. 4. Housekeeping never came - we didnt ask for it initially but a sign says that any stay over 3d they come to refresh the room. They never did. We asked for new towels - and they forced us to bring our used towels to the front office to exchange them for new ones. 5.No hairdryer was provided. Luckily I brought mine. 6. Little tiny bugs were all over the oven all the time. I also bought one of those hanging bags that absorbs moisture to get rid of the smell in the room - and I bought a glade mister/febreeze/febreeze fabric. 7. The couch/sleeper sofa was GROSS. Something nasty all over it. 8. There were no mattress protectors on the mattresses!!! Which were HORRIBLY stained. 9. The carpet felt moist/damp the WHOLE time we were in the room which I felt contributed to the awful smell in the room. 10. As a T1D i will say that the accommodations at breakfast were TERRIBLE. Everything they served was so loaded with carbohydrates and sugar i was unable to eat anything other than eggs and whatever breakfast meat they served most mornings which got old after day 2.

Also we didn’t have enough pillows or linen and when I went to ask the lobby was locked. I noted we would be four using room. Ended up sharing with kids and wearing sweatshirt. Slept on clothes for pillow. On a lesser problem and personal preference, I don’t like a rug in the room.

The hotel and rooms are very outdated, carpet in the room is nasty, bathroom is nasty, was clogged the first night, not enough towels, we called for towels it took 2 days and we had to go get it ourselves at the front desk. There is mold on the window and in the bathroom. Sofa bed is very uncomfortable and there were no linens in the room. We had to go get them at the front desk. The room was not cleaned once in the 6 days we were there. Housekeeping came one time, and we asked her to come back later because we just woke up from her banging on the door, but she never came back. We had to buy toilet paper, trash bags, and other cleaning supplies. So, in conclusion we will never stay at this hotel again. It definitely has NO MARRIOTT STANDERDS WHAT SO EVER.

I checked out after six days but with a flight delay checked back in three hours later to the same room and they are gone. What is the matter with the staff here? Whenever i try to talk to them i get the old 'no se'. Cutlery is a joke. No ice so i bought some of my own. I'm there for a week and they don't clean the room i have to grovel at the front desk for towels, coffee and cream. I arrived for the second year in a row on a weekend at 6 p.m. and i can't get in the building for ten minutes till someone answers the door. I have a resrvation what is the problem with this facility?

Rooms are in desperate need or repairs. Stairs are falling apart and cheaply fixed. Mold, blood and flood stains in rooms carpet was coming up and rooms smell like mold.
• 799pierceg (4/5): I’d skip. - Staying here now, night 4 of 5. The shower doesn’t turn off. The toilet clogs for no reason. Important light bulbs are out. Place feels kinda nasty. Luckily the staff is very friendly.

The exterior of the building needs to be pressure washed. The refrigerator and air conditioner made creaking noises.

We booked a "penthouse" room and when we opened the door, we were presented with shredded carpets, a broken ceiling fan, and a smell that was indescribable. The front desk gave us another room. The smell in this room wasn't as bad and the rugs were only marginally shredded. However, the furniture and the rugs were filthy, the bathtub was stained, and the kitchen area had very few utensils for a place you are supposed to be able to live in. The outside grounds were also in need of maintenance. For the price, you can find a much better place. Also the price that posted to our credit card was higher than the receipt we were given at checkout. I could never recommend this hotel.
• CDandAR (4/5): SKIP BREAKFAST, Overall: meh :/ - Breakfast was terrible! The potatoes were hard and dry. We had to eat out at a restaurant, if that says anything. Definititely skip it unless you want oatmeal. Our room was overall decent. However, the lamp was broken, the shade could not stay on. The TV was barely functional. It was 80% pixelated the entire time, regardless of channel. There was no coffee maker anywhere to be found. The threshold between the carpet and vinyl kitchen floor was broken in half and sharp to step on. It was cheaper than staying closer to Orlando, now I know why. The bed and the staff were nice, no complaints there. The room was clean and smelled nice when we arrived. A/C, dishwasher, and microwave worked fine. Marriot, do better.

We thought it was really cool that the housekeeping manager is trained to help the front desk with guest check-ins — he was such a sweetheart and absolutely hilarious. Breakfast was great, and the hotel’s location is perfect, close to lots of restaurants.

• Michael (8/5): - The only issue I had with this stay was the daily fee that I was charged to park on the property. This is something that should be included. I've stayed here a few times in the past, but I think I'll look elsewhere to avoid these additional fees that I was charged afterwards.

• Stewart (6/5): Aging property but good for the price. - This Residence Inn is an aging property. The room had a musty odor, but was otherwise clean. You have to ask for dishes, pots, pans and event dishwashing soap and sponge. The sidewalks are buckling and the pile of cigarette butts stayed at the bottom of the stairs most of the week. The staff was friendly and I did appreciate the breakfast which changed slightly from day to day. The location is great, walking distance from several restaurants and right next to the interstate. I didn't have any issues with noise and the bed was comfortable. The reason I chose this place was price. It is affordable and what you get for the price is reasonable, but nothing fancy. Would I stay here again? Sure, but only if price is a greater concern than comfort.

I noticed in the kitchen that the refrigerator looked like it had not been cleaned or wiped down, I noticed that the mirrors could’ve used a good wipe down as well. Other than that, the place was clean and provided enough room for our family of four. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen and living room, the living room provided a pullout couch. If anyone is checking in, I would go ahead and be aware that they do charge $20 per night for incidentals. They collect that upfront and hold it until you check out once you check out as long as there are no damages they then refund the money. They also charge $5 per night for parking. This property is located in a wonderful spot with anything you need nearby. There are plenty of dining options, grocery stores, convenient stores and plenty of shopping in the surrounding areas.

Breakfast was disgusting - should have gone to the Waffle House next door. Staff was friendly and trying their best in difficult conditions. This is the first Marriot branded hotel that really disappointed us - it feels like a Super8/Motel6 - not a Marriot hotel.
• CARLOS (2/5): - I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room smelled like the carpet was wet and there were pest around. There was no internet or phone service and you can hear people staying on the second floor like they were in the room. I picked this hotel based on it being a Marriott property and accepted the price. I had better experience at a no name hotel in Kissimmee.
• david (10/5): - Very clean, super-easy check-in, really nice woman at front desk. Kind and helpful. Freezing cold air conditioner! Loved it!
• Christina (2/5): - This place was nasty, mold in rooms, carpet was damp, beds had stains all over the mattress. Never came and changed our towels or sheets while we were there for 4 days. Terrible

• Verified traveler (10/5): Stayed for red hot boom! - Everything was amazing. Loved the setup of the rooms. The front desk was having their own conversation at check in and didn't explain much but where our room was. Check in was quick tho 👍 would stay here again
• Puiman (2/5): - It was an old apartment with old carpet and a musty smell. The room was dark, but the beds were okay and the breakfast was good. However, there was a hidden parking charge at checkout. I would never go back there again

• Zamiiya (3/5): The experience was mediocre. - My initial experience with Latoya was great. Customer service was 10/10. They serve breakfast every morning and it’s not just a muffins and orange juice. They serve a nice hot breakfast. I didn’t like the manager charging a card on file without authorization. Once I checked out she charged that same card AGAIN. Without authorization.

• NALINI (6/5): - This property was safe with easy parking, however rooms felt dusty, and trash and the refreshing of supplies was taken out every 3-4 days. Breakfast is the same no variations, kitchen was convenient. But I made the best of this situation.

• Elizabeth (10/5): The BEST Altamonte Springs has to offer!! - I had been to 3 different hotels prior to coming to the Residence Inn, (which I was referred to from a friend!) so I had prepared myself for the worst. Their continental brerakfast was deliciious! It not only offered the waffle bar but the eggs and meat, potatoes, and biscuits and gravey! They also offered choice of cereal, muffins, toast, begals and cream, and homemade oatmeal each day. Many options to choose from! The front desk staff, General Manager, and engineers on the property really understood the meaning of true hospitality which is almost a forgotten art since you now book your reservation online. They offer a beautiful kitchenette that also included a dishwasher! The kitchen offer updated appliances and the room was beautiful! It was very clean,(and NO bugs!) and comfortable with a lot of room! I could go on and on because I was so impressed with everything the Residence Inn had to offer but you definitely will be very happy and well taken care of if you stay there!
