Important Information
Breakfast is only included for extra guests when they have paid for an extra bed. Extra beds cost an additional GBP 40 per person per night.
Families are welcome at The Rembrandt, and children aged 4 or under stay for free when sharing with an adult. For families of three, a number of rooms can either accommodate a roll-away bed or a sofa bed. Guests must notify the hotel at the time of booking through Special Requests exactly how many adults and children will be in each room. Please be advised that the hotel cannot always guarantee a room if they are not made aware in advance that there will be three people in one room.
If you have reserved a rate that requires a deposit, for your security, the credit card used for pre-payment must be presented at check in. If the guest does not have access to that credit card, they must be able to provide an official form of photo I.D. i.e. Passport or photo driving license, a copy of which will be retained by the hotel.
Please note that the Health Club, including the Steam Room, is now open to hotel guests at a discounted rate. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 - 22:00, and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 08:00 - 20:00. Last entry is 45 minutes before closing. Children are welcome to use the pool all day Saturday and Sunday, and from 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Great location, room was cramped, food and service was very good. - The breakfast was great, the best of our 15 day trip in Scotland and England. The room was extremely small, and height in the room was reduced because of the roof-line which cut into about 1/3 of the room and as such there was barely room to get around the bed to reach the exit door and bathroom. As because of this, there was only a place for one suitcase and we had two. This room should really not have been designated a hotel room and certainly not at the rate we had to pay. I am certain people paying the same rate ($600 USD/night) on lower floors had a more comfortable room layout. I had stayed at the hotel before as was looking forward to as nice a room as I had before. Also room temperature would not go down to a comfortable temperature at night, as the thermostat had an obvious lower set point. The fan brought to us did not function.

The floors were squeaking. You could hear the squeaking sound when people passed by in the corridors and in the room next-door.
- Cassandra (5/5): Great location but I won’t be staying here again. - I loved that the property was right across the street from the V&A. I was there for the Marie Antoinette Style exhibit. The room was very outdated, and the staff wasn’t as welcoming as one would hope, given its location in the center of tourist attractions. I saw a lot of them standing around, not very busy, chatting. I also had came back in around 11am, after viewing the exhibit, and the bartender was reluctant to serve me, also requiring that I pay for my food first. Again, not very welcoming.

- Andrew (10/5): A great stay in South Kensington - The hotel was spacious and our room comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and all the staff we met were very professional. And the location was great for museums, galleries and transport.
- Linda (7/5): Great hotel but expect to pay to use the pool - Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the arrangement for the pool in the ( very small) print it does say that the pool is chargeable. £15 per visit and half price for kids. First visit only my granddaughter swam and although it was out of children’s time the guy in reception said it would be fine but there would be a lesson starting soon. There were 2 lessons - each 1-1 with a rope down the middle of the pool which didn’t leave much room for her to swim. I was told that kids could swim from 9-3 so the next morning we both went to swim and partway through another lesson so again we were limited When I use a filter asking for a pool I don’t expect to pay for it. Not at all happy.

So not good value. Your paying to be in knightsbridge.

La camera era al piano terra all’esterno, con affaccio, a meno di un metro dalle finestre, sui motori, quindi senza visuale esterna ed abbastanza rumorosi.

- Tim (9/5): Great value for a lovely hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge - Two related aspects made this a really excellent booking: the location and the price. This stay was a London treat for my daughter, who wanted to visit the South Ken museums. She also loves swimming. Therefore I was looking for a hotel with a pool as near to the museums as possible. When I found the Rembrandt, I assumed from the price that it would be a well-situated but fairly unremarkable hotel. How wrong I was. The hotel is really quite swish, and certainly "felt" a lot more expensive than the price we paid. My favourite things about it: - The location is absolutely amazing. Just a couple of hundred yards from the museums, Hyde Park, Harrods and the myriad restaurants near South Ken tube. It's a delightful area to walk around, particularly on a beautiful Spring weekend: London at its finest. - The hotel staff were all exceptional, whether reception, concierge, restaurant or spa. Proper old-fashioned courtesy and levels of service. I noticed after a while that the majority of staff were relatively mature, and clearly had years of hospitality experience under their belts. I'm not against young people at all, but the Rembrandt staff had an extra level of calm assurance about them that sometimes you don't get with students. They all went the extra mile for us, they were fun and charming with my 12-year-old daughter and they gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. (There are some young staff - at least two in the restaurant and one on the concierge team - and what a great place for them to learn what great service looks like.) - The bedroom is a good size, very comfortable and beautifully finished. The bed is great, there are plenty of cushions, the windows actually open and the bathroom is properly luxe, with a large shower and a large bath (with bubble jets if you want). The only thing that didn't exceed expectations was that you needed to pay extra to use the swimming pool. This I assume is because the spa (pool, gym, treatment rooms) is a separate business from the hotel itself. It's in the same building, and there's a connecting door from the hotel, but it has its own street entrance and different branding. Honestly, this is not a big deal, because it was not too expensive - £17 for an adult for the day - and the pool, although compact, is interesting, well maintained and well stocked with pool accessories. The jacuzzi is nice. Also, the family changing area above the pool was excellent. The only reason that this is a little quibble is that Booking.com didn't make clear up front that use of the pool was at extra cost. I paid it happily, but it would have been polite to make it clear in advance. Otherwise, the whole stay was excellent.
- Janet (9/5): Gerieflijk verblijf in een mooi hotel op een heel fraaie en fijne locatie - Een mooi en gerieflijk klassiek hotel, heel gunstig gelegen recht tegenover het Victoria & Albert Museum en op korte loopafstand van metrohalte South-Kensington. Heel vriendelijke en attente medewerkers, ruime ontbijtzaal met een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Onze kamer aan de voorzijde was comfortabel en ruim en rustig. Ook in het gehele hotel was het rustig, je merkte nauwelijks dat er zoveel gasten verbleven. In de directe omgeving in de gezellige wijk rondom het hotel zijn vele lokale en mediterrane restaurants te vinden. Geen opmerkingen

- Viral (7/5): It was good stay and very good location. I would not book again as need to pay for pool. - The hotel is in good location, staff and friendly and they accommodate guests very well. At breakfast the staff were very good and made every effort to address our young daughters requirements, which was very good! The breakfast could have been better. It is standard breakfast. Also I found it very surprising that we have to pay additional for use of swimming pool. This was not clear on booking.com website and also not informed whilst checking in. In past I don't think we have ever paid for use of swimming pool! I think booking.com should make it very clear where pool use will be charged for!
- brian (9/5): - The hotel gave us a room that we requested, lots don't. Great location for the albert hall as we were going to a concert there Had a nice dinner in the bar area. We were on top floor, ( which we requested) and never once had an issue waiting on the lift. Friendly and helpful staff. Got busy at breakfast time, we got moved into bar area which wasn't really an issue just a longer walk to get food. Did run out of porridge, plates which we had to ask for. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

- Tomislav (9/5): Very nice hotel with excellent position for those interested in South Kensington museums - Excellent position, nice wellness & fitness place next to hotel (with discount for hotel guests), good breakfast, spacious rooms, nice bathroom, good layout of furniture in room, good lightning of room, all necessary equipments are in the room. Friendly staff. Bus station right next to it, Underground few minutes walk from the hotel. Nice area/surroundings.

Disappointed that the hotel was advertised as having a swimming pool. The pool is actually part of the leisure facilities next door. Firstly this meant that there is an additional cost, however, it's London so I was happy to pay, but this led to the second disappointing issue that from the check in time of 3pm the pool is not available due to swimming lessons, and then the timetable allows adults only in the evening. I purposely booked this hotel so I could go for a swim with my daughter after a day of walking around London. The swim timetable also only allowed adults in the morning too meaning there was no opportunity during our stay to go to the pool. Perhaps this could be changed to "lane swimming" so people of all ages who are serious about swimming can attend, not all children splash or mess around in pools. Also, the pool opening times should be made clearer, and that anyone off the street can use the facilities if they pay too- these facilities are not exclusive to the hotel unfortunately.

- Paul (10/5): Absolutely superb stay, great location, lovely clean modern room - we’ll definitely be back. - We had the pleasure here of a three night stay while we went to the Mountbatten festival of music at the Royal Albert Hall, it’s location is absolutely suburb and literally only a short walk to Harrods, Buckingham Palace, Notting Hill and Hyde Park. The staff were always polite and welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were always lovely, quality, fresh produce - we couldn’t fault any part of our stay here !!
