O Lobby foi reformado dando uma falsa impressao que o hotel foi remodelado. Dois problemas graves. O primeiro foi que o Filipe que esta na mesma reserva sairia do hotel para nos encontrar. Foi quando ficou preso por aproximadamente 1 hora na sexta-feira a noite! Ele ficou extremamente preocupado e chateado que acabou nao conseguindo ir para um jantar importante de negócios. Isso é inaceitável na nossa opinião ficar 1 hora parado no elevador quebrado na sexta a noite. No dia anterior presenciamos outros hospedes que ficaram presos. Nós entendemos que parece ser algo corriqueiro e recorrente no hotel. Outro ponto, vou mostrar as fotos mas o ar-condicionado é tao velho e barulhento que estava instalado no meu quarto um ar-condicionado adicional portátil. O black-out nao poderia ser fechado pois foi feito um ajuste muito mal feito para acomodar o tubo. Ou seja, nao ache que vai conseguir dormir muito por aqui.

Piezas de decoración faltantes se veían los huecos de los tornillos y de las maderas rotas. Limpieza bien pero no al 100% había un par de pelos en el baño el primer día, pero tampoco nada terrible. El servicio del lobby muy mediocre para el tipo de hotel y el precio, ninguna atención especial, ninguna sonrisa. MUY Mejorable rompe una experiencia positiva.

I also did not like the location, and the reception staff were not professional or friendly. The elevator is old and poorly maintained as well. I do not recommend staying here at all, especially considering the high price compared to the poor level of cleanliness and service.

Nella stanza no drink nel mini bar, nessuna accessorio per un caffè od un the. Mai visto in un 5 stelle. Colazione no value for money. 75usd per colazione a buffet non li vale.

- Louise (3/5): Disappointing and in need of total refurbishment - The location was the best thing about this property. No way was this a 5* property. Aside from being badly dated and looking like something from the 80s, the rooms tired and only one or two elevators out of six working at any one time, the rooms were basic- even for a suite, which I had. Not even a shower cap, no coffee machines or a kettle, just really basic for a hotel purporting to be of that level. The customer service level was mixed; telephone staff for Guest Services were helpful and polite, whereas front desk staff seemed very tired and overworked, leading to various check in errors and little things that could have been avoided and led to a much better experience - again, something you wouldn’t find in a real 5* hotel.

Quality of the toilet paper was not great - it was not soft but rather irritating and we were not always left with a spare roll.

The elevator situation was not ideal -- not all the elevators were working and it did cause alot of wait times.

- Liana (9/5): - A localização é excelente. O quarto e o banheiro são espaçosos. Quarto tem guarda-roupas. Cama e travesseiros confortáveis. A WiFi é ruim, bem ruim. O elevador é um pouco congestionado. O quarto tem carpete e a janela não abre, o que pode ser bem um problema para quem tem alergia.

- Anett (10/5): Mindenkinek szívből ajánlom; mi legközelebb is szívesen jövünk ide. - A szobánk a 7. emeleten volt, városra néző kilátással. A környező magas épületek miatt ez nem volt annyira élvezhető, de sok időt nem is töltöttünk a szobában. Viszont a reggeli a 47. emeleten kifogástalan kilátással bírt. A személyzet rendkívül kedves volt, bár a recepción volt egy hölgy, aki egy kicsit felszínes volt, de ettől függetlenül minden más pazar. Az elhelyezkedés nekünk a legideálisabb volt, mert a Central Parkba jártunk futni, úgyhogy csak az úton kellett átmenni, de a metro is 20 m-re volt a hoteltől, úgyhogy a Times Square is pár percen belül megközelíthető volt. Legközelebb is ide fogunk foglalni, ha lesz jó ajánlat. A recepción volt egy hölgy, akinek nem voltunk szimpatikusak, nem tudjuk miért.
- Manaf (1/5): Poor room conditions and unacceptable elevator delays made the stay frustrating and inconvenient. - The location nothing else The air conditioning was not functioning properly and was excessively noisy. The room doors are very heavy and tend to slam shut. The elevator service was particularly frustrating, during peak hours, the waiting time is unbearable. On one occasion, I waited 15 minutes just to go down to the lobby, eventually giving up and taking the stairs down ten floors.

- Artur (6/5): Great location and views, but the service and attention to detail are far below what I would expect - The location is the biggest advantage of this hotel: right next to Central Park, with beautiful views from the higher floors. Breakfast was generally very good, and the hotel offers fair value for this part of New York. We experienced too many service issues during a 7-night stay, especially for a hotel presented as a 5-star property. After check-in, we were given a room that was not properly prepared: the beds were made, but there were no water bottles, something was left in the trash, there was toothpaste in the sink, and a wet towel was left on the toilet. To be fair, the hotel reacted quickly and moved us to another room, but after several dozen hours of travel this was a very unpleasant start. We were also charged for breakfast every day, even though breakfast had already been paid for as part of our booking. This resulted in several hundred dollars being blocked on our card until departure, despite reporting the issue earlier. Housekeeping was also poor: sometimes we received only two towels instead of four, there were shortages of toilet paper after cleaning, and the empty shower gel was ignored. After reporting it to reception, I still had to follow up again, and it took around 8 hours before someone finally brought us shower gel. The breakfast was generally good, but there was also a major failure on one of the days. On Saturday, from around 10:00, there was no bread at all: no slices, no bagels, nothing. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 11:30, but after waiting around 40 minutes we were only told that the staff had reported it to management and did not know when bread would arrive. Since many breakfast options depended on bread, this was quite disappointing. Finally, paying extra for a park view only makes sense if you get a room on a higher floor. Our initial room was on the 7th floor, below the treetops of Central Park, so the paid view upgrade was basically pointless. Overall, there were simply too many issues for one stay. The hotel has a fantastic location and can still be a good choice for New York, but the service and attention to detail are far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

- Erico Teodoro (9/5): Hotel com localização e serviços excelentes mas desconfortável em vários aspectos. - O atendimento de toda a equipe do hotel foi muito boa. Localização e excelente. Decoração do hotel está muito desatualizada, com aparência muito ruim, em todos os aspectos. Muito ruim também a falta de uma mesa de trabalho, por menor que fosse, e de uma iluminação que permita leitura a noite. O Hotel está deixando a desejar no aspecto habitabilidade do apartamento.

Etage mit guter Auswahl und tollen Früchten/Joghurt Teppich in Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Klimatisierung recht laut und hellhörige Zimmer. (Glücklicherweise bei der Lage von außen überschaubarer Lärm in 33. Etage)
