ScottD542 (10/5): Great Full-Service Marriott Hotel in the Heart of Downtown Orlando! - I haven't been to this hotel since it was an Omni (many many years ago). I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel has been updated for the 2020's very nicely. The downtown Orlando location is great! I was greeted and recognized as a Bonvoy Platinum guest, and upgraded to a larger room. I don't know about the "standard" rooms, but this room to which I was upgraded was particularly spacious with a King sized bed and a sofabed. The M Club Lounge was very much appreciated. Light hot appetizers and soup were available from 5:30-7:30 each evening and breakfast was available in the morning hours. I absolutely LOVE that the M Club Lounge is open EVERY DAY and not closed for weekends. My business travel frequently occurs on weekend days and nothing is more frustrating than to find a lounge closed on weekends. The world is changing, and the M Club being open 7 days a week is fantastic! There's a Starbucks in the hotel, and a restaurant/bar on site. I didn't use the restaurant and bar, but I heard others talking about it fondly while I was there. The elevators need some attention. There appear to be four elevator doors on the bottom floor with an up button between each set of two doors. However, one of them does not work. On the 7th floor, where my room was, there are only three elevator doors (ok, one of them must be a service elevator or a "convention/meeting only" elevator), but again, one of the two up/down button sets on the 7th floor didn't work. I had to remind myself to choose the correct set of buttons each time. Annoying, but not enough to make me choose a different hotel. The ONLY downside to this property is the exorbitant price charged for parking. $38 for overnight guests and $25 for day guests. I guess that's because with the Kia Center nearby, they can easily fill their lot - even at that price. But I chose to pay $20 per 24 hours in the city-owned lot adjacent to the hotel instead. All-in-all, this is a great Marriott property. Not only would I say I'd return again, I put my money where my mouth is. I've already booked my next stay at this property!

Jennifer (3/5): Stay somewhere else - My experience at this particular Marriott was horrible. I was sent to 2 rooms that were already occupied and walked in on people in the room. The third time they finally got it right. I was charged a bar bill that was not even mine and on top of that, was charged an additional $291 charge that I am continuing to fight a month later. The management has changed in these 30 days and now I'm having to file a case with the Marriott customer care department because I can't get through to an actual person who can help in Orlando. This would be the last place I ever chose if I needed a downtown Orlando hotel again.

In the shower there was still hair from the person before. The hair dryer was sticky and full of hair from other people. The shampoo and body wash was empty. For a hotel with this name this was SO BAD

Kassandra (4/5): - This property was a loud one. The parking situation is insane. They have a parking lot on site they charge 20 dollars a night or allow them to park it for 30 a night. If you have a lot on sight do your guests a favor and just let them use it.
Heather (6/5): - Valet staff was awesome! Every time I was in the lobby, the front desk was empty. When I checked in, the staff member came from a back room. Nobody told me anything about the property, amenities or restaurants. I don’t even know if they had any restaurants. I was expecting more from the surrounding area. I was hoping to be able to explore the city a bit but there wasn’t much at all (that I found) within walking distance. Room was average but clean. Air conditioning barely worked and the shower head was broken. Overall, my stay was average. Definitely not what I was expecting from Marriott or for the price that I paid!!
Isha (10/5): They gave me comfort in my time of grief - I was in town to spread the ashes of my recently departed son. The employees were very nice and empathic to our needs and grief. Would Definity recommend this hotel for future stays.

Angelique (4/5): Won’t stay here again! - Not good. The restaurant here said they were open until 10:30 so my group decided to eat dinner after the comedy show we were attending. We got back at 9:45 and because the bar was so busy they stopped serving food. I went and spoke with the two women at the front desk and one of them asked the other to take care of and she said she wasn’t aware that the kitchen shut down early. She said she would ask but never did she was to busy talking to another male worker. Needless to say we weren’t able to eat. We were not they only group that couldn’t eat. Inside the rooom the tv did not work. The alarm clock kept going off every hour. Could not get it to stop.
