• Clare (8/5): Clean and functional. - Reception staff were utterly charming and very helpful. Room was nice and clean. I had trouble understanding the very complicated shower set up. There are three dials and it wasn’t clear what controlled which with the net result that I had trouble turning off the water, adjusted the temperature by mistake and scalded myself.

• mmR3886BT (2/5): Broken promise - given the smallest room. Don’t stay at the Cavendish - Stayed at the Cavendish on numerous occasions. On last visit this year, told reception we was returning over the New Years Eve period for a very special 30 year anniversary. Receptionist said if we booked the Cavendish we would be upgraded and receive a few nice treats. Here now 30 December for 3 nights. No up grade, no treats and put in the smallest room (room 1413). I didn’t think rooms could be so small. ABSOLUTE disgrace. Conned into booking our special 3 night anniversary stay. Will NEVER stay at the Cavendish again. DISGUSTING behavior

• notrag07 (10/5): An amazing location in central London - My wife and I took a short pre-Christmas break in London for a couple of nights. The Cavendish hotel is in a brilliant location, next door to Fortnum & Mason & less than 100 meters from Piccadilly. Jermyn Street is full of amazing shops, including Trumpers and Turnbull & Asser, where English-made shirts are sold for hundreds of pounds. Buckingham Palace is a 10-minute walk, after cutting across St James' Park. Green Park underground station is also 10 minutes from the hotel, as is His Majesty's Theatre, where we saw a show. The staff are very helpful, especially Ahmed, who looked after our bags after checkout and arranged a taxi to Euston station. The hotel is soon to close for a significant refurbishment. I look forward to returning.

The room is a good size. Breakfast is plentiful, and the breakfast room is large and well-proportioned. The hotel is soon to undertake a significant overhaul. The revamped hotel should be amazing.

• Bryonie (9/5): Comfortable and well appointed. - Excellent breakfast, great choice and lovely to have gf bread, cereal etc available without having to make a request. Room clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Location central . Not the hotels fault but the construction site was noisy into the night and from early in the morning.
• Per (7/5): Bra läge men omodernt - Läget var perfekt Första natten gick det inte sova då vi hade ett rum mot gatan. Bilar tutade hela natten. Fick byta till ett bättre rum mot gården sedan. Hotellet är har rum vars inredning verkar vara från 1970. Känns trist o omodernt. Bra frukost med mycket att välja på
