Having a hair dresser under my was an added bonus and the staff were very helpful. Only thing I did not notice is recognizing my gold Marriott status like other JW around the world . - Venture05432539891 (10/5): A Classic London Stay Elevated by the Lounge Experience - My stay at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London started with a slightly rocky check-in, but to the hotel’s credit, everything was handled and resolved smoothly. This is a property I genuinely love and continue to return to. That said, there is a noticeable difference between room categories. The standard rooms, while comfortable, feel somewhat dated in their furnishings. However, once you step into an Executive Suite or above, it’s a completely different experience. The décor is far more refined and thoughtfully designed—it’s not about the extra space, but the elevated feel of the room itself that really makes the difference. The staff are consistently warm, professional, and welcoming—one of the hotel’s strongest assets. The Executive Lounge is a true highlight of the stay. I was especially pleased to see spirits reintroduced in the evening, as this was previously something that had drawn me to other properties. The food offering in the lounge is excellent—please don’t change a thing. A special mention to Joshua in the lounge—he is an absolute standout and a true asset to the hotel. His level of service goes above and beyond, and frankly, his talent could easily be leveraged in guest relations. Dining at JW Steakhouse was fantastic, and housekeeping maintained the room to a very high standard throughout the stay. This hotel holds a special place for me, and I’m already looking forward to returning again soon. Thank you so very much ! Ryan S

- MatthewK617 (10/5): A great hotel in a great neighborhood - This hotel is one of the nicest in London located in Mayfair area which is very high end neighborhood. You aren’t close to any tourist sites but it’s quiet and safe. The club level is perfect and you can eat every meal there but I wouldn’t. The Barkey Mow is a pub in walking distance and this place is a must visit for dinner. Rooms were great, staff was excellent, and the beds were perfect. Would come back anytime.

- sueprice2018 (10/5): A Magical Experience - Two of us booked the Magic Faraway Tree afternoon tea to celebrate milestone birthdays. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were excellent. The cakes were Magic Faraway Tree themed & there was even a chocolate smoking tree, very cleverly done. There was a large selection of teas and several jams to have with the scones. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very attentive. Saiful went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

Highly recommend for a family setup. The restaurant and exec lounge were very nice and worked well. Food was good generally (we mostly had desserts and chips). Great location across from Hyde park and the local pub is fantastic. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the bathroom needs a remodel. It’s quite dated.

The support of the staff was exceptional and they couldn't do enough to make our stay so special. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they went overboard to make it a great experience. Definitely on the top of our list for returns to London in the future. Also, the location is perfect for everything. You are within most of the major underground lines within a 5 - 10 min walk, just around the corner from Oxford Street for those that want to shop and right across the road from Hyde Park, which is very relaxing when the weather is so nice.

Bathroom: Outdated fixtures and fittings — in serious need of renovation. Bed: Extremely uncomfortable. I've had better sleep in budget hostels in the UK. Location: Decent — one of the few positives. Staff: Reception staff were rude and unhelpful, which made an already disappointing stay even worse. Overall, this property falls well short of expectations. Significant investment in both the facilities and staff training is needed. After breakfast at 08:00, reception staff blocked my entry card and insisted I pay again for my room — despite the fact that I had already prepaid my entire stay days in advance. They were unable to locate my booking or payment on their system. The staff appeared confused, unfocused, and unable to perform basic tasks. This level of disorganization is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend that management review front desk procedures and ensure staff are alert and competent before being assigned to guest-facing roles.

From the check in process that went smoothly to the professional service and approach received by the staff, I especially would like to mention Kate Boiki from the executive lounge from whom we got exceptional service and care. What truly elevated the afternoon was the service. Frederico was exemplary, the kind of hospitality professional who makes you feel genuinely welcomed rather than simply served. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and carried himself with such warmth, professionalism, and ease. He took the time to explain elements of the tea, checked in at just the right moments, and created a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere that made us feel completely looked after. Altay was equally brilliant when he joined towards the end of our afternoon. His energy, care, and attention to detail added an extra layer of thoughtfulness to the experience. He brought a personal touch that made us feel seen and valued as guests, turning an already lovely afternoon into something even more special and memorable. The setting, the food, the ambience, and most importantly the people, always make the The Park Room feel like a treat in every sense. This is why I always return to the Park Room for my afternoon tea experience, as it’s just amazing.

- Aimee (9/5): Wonderful stay. - Lovely rooms and beautiful hotel. The extra relaxing room that we paid for did not have much food in it was more snacks and small light bites of couscous or meatballs with union. I would recommend to book without the lounge access if you have children.
- Charles (5/5): Mmmm ..... other than the VERY nice staff, all pretty so-so I'd say ... - Every single one of the staff were charming, smiley & helpful, and also TOTALLY professional = EVERYONE ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT all round. My room (816) was surprisingly poor, especially at the price:- 1. There was an annoying hum all night - was it from outside equipment, fans or something? My aircon was off but it was annoyingly unacceptable. 2. The whole room was pretty 'tired', especially the bathroom with only its 'dangerous' (for old people like me) shower over the bath. 3. The room lighting was REALLY bad and the desk-lighting simply too dim for me to work. The bathroom lighting was REALLY bad too, making it difficult to see to shave even in the magnifying mirror. All-in-all the room & bathroom lighting are RIDICULOUSLY bad for an expensive hotel. 4. My breakfast (downstairs) poached-eggs were cold (presumably pre-cooked and re-heated but not enough), there was no decent yoghurt and the coffee was wretched - I asked for a carafe of strong coffee with some milk on the side but what I got was a small ceramic pot of cold, thin & weak coffee: when I said to the (really-nice) waiter that it simply wasn't good enough the replacement was just as bad! And this was meant to be Grosvenor House! (Pret-a-Manger wd have been ashamed!) 5. I was genuinely surprised by all the above especially when, for instance, the Marriott Great Northern Hotel at Kings Cross is so very good.

A huge thank you to claudia from breakfast, she gave an incredible service, was very attentive and friendly, a real sunshine. - febed2026 (10/5): Wonderful Birthday Stay - My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night to celebrate his birthday and had the most amazing stay. A nice cheesecake was prepared for him upon arrival and Athena was extremely helpful and kind upon check-in. Claudia at breakfast really stood out to us! She was incredibly kind and attentive and despite it being quite busy, she did not hesitate to pull out a map and show us her favourite spots of London which we should definitely explore (and which we did!). We cannot wait to come back here during our next trip to London!
