Guest Reviews
- Misstq (8/5): Lovely hotel but ….. - Like the title says it’s a lovely hotel and we thought this was the hotel for us - clean, good amenities and well located for trolley stops which is important to us as we have no car. However, we are holiday makers wanting to do shopping and relaxing by the pool and that was fine at first, but after a few days being by the pool has become very difficult as the outside areas are just taken over by conference delegates. Guest tables, chairs and sunloungers are all taken away and there is nothing for any non corporate guests. Yesterday there were 7 sun loungers and a small area of terrace for non conference people- the day before the pool and outside areas were closed to guests- not good or thought through by management. So as much as we would love to return here we possibly won’t because we have been made to feel unwanted and inferior.
- RachelS1079 (2/5): Will not stay again - The receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful. Another staff member stood nearby without saying a word or offering any clarification. I arrived early and was placed on a wait list for a room. Even after 3 pm, I still never heard from them. Finally got into a room around 3:45. Several other guests were clearly frustrated as well. Since many of us were attending a conference, I expected the hotel to be better prepared. Additionally, the coffee bar service was extremely slow. They don't offer a shuttle or transport to Disney, but they do to Universal.
The room was okay, the bathroom was dark, with limited light. Food options at the hotel were just okay. Only the staff who were friendly were those working in the luggage room.
- A1435QOpaulm (2/5): Parking scam - Was told at check-in self parking was $32/day. Checked out 3 days later and was charged $40/day for parking. The manager said their price went up and would not change it. Dishonest!
- 374lucetteb (10/5): Very positive!! - I want to recognize an outstanding staff member, Frantzso Blanc, at the Rosen Center in Orlando, Florida. During the Share Fair event we hosted at the hotel, Frantzso went above and beyond to help us set up our booth. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive to our needs.
Frantzso assisted with logistics, made sure we had everything positioned correctly, and checked in to ensure the setup went smoothly. His positive attitude and willingness to help made a big difference and took a lot of stress off our team during a busy event.
Thanks to his support, our booth was ready on time and the event ran much more smoothly. Staff members like Frantzso truly make the experience at the Rosen Center exceptional. We are very grateful for his assistance and hope his efforts are recognized. Thank you, Frantzso, for your outstanding service!
- 815brendaw (4/5): Way over priced for what you get. - Room was very small, considering the price. Air was very loud. Signage and directions for self parking was horrible. Parking cost was way too much. I paid a hundred dollars less my first night in Orlando just a few blocks away and had free parking, free appetizers, free breakfast, free drinks and a bigger room.
- 887lisam887 (10/5): Best Hotel Experience you will ever have. - Wonderful hotel experience! A diamond gem of a place, the best service!! They really care about their guests needs. Smell's great, excellent restaurant Michelin star ( scallops outstanding) The pool was peaceful and serene with wait service for lunch or drinks. Did I mention the great smell? Earthy True Timeless Elegance ette.
- bobrP1406UN (8/5): Great place to stay/amenities - food and drinks were outrageous - Loved the hotel and how close it was to several restaurants and activities, but I found the restaurants and bars very expensive. I guess when you have a large conference like SHARE attending, they may increase the prices. At the lobby bar, a shot of Buffalo trace was 22.50 and they charged for the BLOCK OF ICE (3.00). To me that is ridiculous and really taking advantage of the customer. That is my only complaint. The staff and other amenities were top notch.
- NiPat5 (6/5): Outdated and Noisy - Stayed here for one night for business. Check in was swift and was given an upgrade to a suite. Staff was truly nice at every level of the hotel.
The room itself was a bit of a let down. The suite was huge with a full kitchen and living area but the bed was a Murphy bed that was low to the ground and a bit uncomfortable. There were also no convenient outlets near the bed to charge your devices.
The bathroom was fine but the water pressure in the shower was low. The room itself was pretty clean. One big thing was I just couldn’t get the room temp to be comfortable. At 70 it was freezing in the bed. At 71 it was too hot. Never had that situation before but it made for a difficult night sleeping.
The furnishings and feel are outdated. This property could use a refurb.
Another issue was noise. There was loud noises coming from the hallway staring at 7am. They weren’t people but it sounded mechanical. All in all not a good night sleeping between the noise, Murphy bed and temp.
The location is great for SeaWorld and convention center. The restaurant cafe for breakfast had a very sparse Buffett for $30. There is a McDonald’s and IHOP within walking distance if you are looking for an alternative.
- patricksG385YK (2/5): Room was terrible, customer service was even worse. - No idea how this place is almost 4 stars. Customer service is terrible. Alarm clock in room went off 3 times in the middle of the night. Pressure cleaning all hours of the morning. Maria at the front desk was absolutely no help. All that in a sub par room not worth the money. So if you like to be woken up in the middle of the night and then get no help from the front desk, overpriced food in the lobby.
- 611mak (2/5): Poor customer service experience - Management support lacking. Error with reservation. Hotels. Com willing to refund or change reservation date with Rosen’s approval. Manager less than courteous and caring, and advised they would not assist and money spent on hotel stay was lost. Will NOT book with them again.
- OceanGirl88 (8/5): Perfect location for a conference at the Convention Center - The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I was there for 5 days for a work conference. I wish the room would’ve had a microwave. It did have a mini fridge. The staff were nice and checkin and checkout were smooth. It was a great hotel for walking distance using the Skywalk to the Convention Center.
- rosemarieb790 (2/5): Not the experience I paid for - We arrived on Monday and was not told before arrival that the restaurants/ bars and coffee shop would not be open. Hotel is only 8% capacity but I paid for a hotel offering stunning facilities. I did not expect to be sitting in my room eating a Walmart salad out of a box for my dinner. I know there is lots of restaurants on I-drive but I chose this hotel because after a busy day I could chill out in the hotel and relax with a nice meal. So disappointed as the hotel shows social media offering all these things but forgot to told us that we would not be enjoying any of them.
- Nancy (4/5): - When we arrived the bellhop asked if we wanted to valet park or needed assistance with luggage. We said no. So rather than letting us unload at the front door, he instructed us to go around to the parking garage, park and unload. That required us to walk all the way through the conference center with out luggage and an infant to get to check in. He said that was “best”. I’m not sure who that was “best” for but it isn’t for arriving guests.
- Valeria (10/5): - Clean room clean hotel everything was near and easy check in and check out
- Ana (10/5): - This hotel is amazing! Good location and great services .
- Richard (10/5): - Very nice
- Daisy (10/5): - The Rosen Center is alls my pick!! They make it easy to check in&out. And the beds are so comfortable. Room is clean!!
- David (2/5): - Awful experience. Security had to be called 4 times till 5 am because other guests were causing mayhem but security never resolved on multiple attempts. Walls are paper thin so guest in adjacent room had tv on full blast all night and could
Hear everything in our room. Staff were nice but security was ineffective and unable to control unruly guests.
- Cicely (8/5): - I was on a business trip but the stay was amazing. The room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the hotel. I will definitely recommend a friend/coworker and stay again.
- Julian (10/5): Amazing Views and Clean Rooms - The room was very clean and the view was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful and dining was choice!
- Laverne (10/5): - Stayed two nights and it was conveniently close to Universal. The room was spacious and clean. View from hotel room was excellent.
- Jeanmarie (10/5): - Everything was very very clean.. I recommend valet parking if Steve or Kevin is working. Great set of men that catered to mine and my husbands needs. and I absolutely loved they sang happy birthday to me each time they got our vehicle. Great time!
- deborahaJ5480UF (8/5): GREAT HOTEL - We come to this hotel every year for a short vacation 7 days (sometimes 14) it's location is great for walking into the main bars and restaurants. Hotel is good. It would be even better if it recognised repeat customers (21 years).
- Xenianette (10/5): - Extremely good
- Weili (2/5): - It took the front more than 30 minutes to check me in while the clerk next checked in 3 travelers. Finally i was assigned a tiny room and it was in horrible condition. See photos.
- Tiffany (4/5): - Should be considered a 2 star hotel, poor amenities
- Leslee (10/5): - It was very spacious and great for a family of 4, two of them being teens! They had so much fun with the different areas.
- Ian Nicole (10/5): - Clean room. Excellent room service. Beautiful view.
- brendalee (10/5): - It was definitely a five star hotel
- Terrance (10/5): - Everything was excellent! One thing that coulddd happen is adding microwaves in the rooms
- Linda (10/5): - Nice clean hotel overall. Checking in and out was a breeze. The location was a plus..close to everything.
- Sabrina (10/5): - All the staff was extremely friendly. Room was exceptionally clean and smelled good.
- Melissa (10/5): - Everything was outstanding. We love staying at this hotel.
- AMBERLEE (10/5): - .
- jose (10/5): - Very nice place
- Nick (10/5): - I had no idea the hotel had so many amenities. They had at least four restaurants and a little convenience store.
- Erica (10/5): - Very Nice, Great Staff. Plenty Space
- Roddy (10/5): - Great stay there
- Nyema (10/5): - Excellent stay! The staff were welcoming, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
- Deborah (10/5): - Staff was great
- Luis (8/5): - Some front desk were not helpful and even rude.
- Nathan (10/5): - Clean room, lots of space with only king bed
- Minehli (4/5): - Staff
- Kathryn (10/5): - The staff was very helpful. Only complaint was that our ironing board was broken, easy check-in, and checkout.
- Dean (10/5): - Location
- ADAM (10/5): - 😀
- Jessica (10/5): - Really enjoy my star, would definitely come back
- erikasG5184KB (2/5): Took My Money - Paid for a king room, got a double. Front desk (Jonathan & Steryl) offered no help, no refund, no comp valet. Terrible customer service. In this economy, no one has money to throw away—never staying here again.
- Weili (4/5): - The check in agent was not friendly, took her more than 20 minutes to check me in while the agent next to me checked in 2 travelers. Not very helpful and poor communication. The room assigned is cramp with bathroom door not able to close, furniture chipped up. I paid premium price for this booking. Needs to get some money back, and I will not use this hotel again. I have stayed here for years for business. Hotel room has become a Motel 6 standard. Sad.
- Kevin (10/5): - My wife and I stay here 16 years ago for our 10th anniversary wanted to come back for our 26th. Staff treated us exceptionally well from the check-in to check out and our stay was just as enjoyable or more so than 16 years ago. Room, breakfast, pool, were all awewome! Thank you Rosen Centre.
- Frangie (10/5): - i loved the pool
- Melissa (10/5): - Clean
- Maria (10/5): - Lovely hotel
- TOMMY (10/5): - It was my first time in Florida and the hotel was great! Very comfortable room and all the amenities were just what I needed
- Dilnozakhon (10/5): - Good
- Nicole (10/5): - My #1 place to stay in Orlando. Centralized. Transport available, restaurants close by, clean, friendly staff.
- Mensud (10/5): - A
- robindranauth (10/5): - Its was very clean and well kept
- Nicole (10/5): - Here is always my first option when going to Orlando. Nice views from your room. Fast and sufficient amount of elevators. No need to rent a car. Reliable bus services with different options.
- Mary (10/5): - Love the pool area. Just need the hot tub fixed
- Michelle (6/5): - I didn’t like to pay to park per night and hot water I thought was out but I actually had to turn to cold to get hot also stain on bed pad like urine or something spilled and tissue roll was used up when just getting in the room also no microwave wave in standard room but over all property was nice and clean around hotel
- Neriliz (8/5): - I love staying here, but this time my room and my daughters room had ants and her room air conditioning was having problems
- Patience (10/5): - I would’ve loved to give them more Stars, I loved and enjoyed my stay, nice view, excellent services and over all clean and decent facility
- Brian (10/5): - This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean the room was new are comfortable
- Brandy (10/5): - It was really nice.
- evelyn (10/5): - Great property
- Jennifer (6/5): - Despite being given an upgrade to a suite, the bed was a Murphy bed and was very uncomfortable. On my last day I could not get any hot water in the shower. And lastly, with a room that had connected doors to other rooms on both sides, I experienced two nights in a row where an alarm clock went off just before 6am and I had to call security to address.
- Faye (6/5): - From the checkin staff to the young lady working at the Deli and then the Bell-Hop to the room itself all were amazing!
The only down fall was the Convention that was taking place at the hotel itself.
There was a Mare Fare Convention happening during our stay. If you don't know what that is - GOOGLE. It's quite disturbing. Especially in light of what has recently happened with Charlie Kirk and who is involved with that.
I could swear that one of those idividuals was actually in the elevator with me on one occasion. There were 1000's of these men at the hotel - Did not feel safe with them around. They partied all night long - did drugs out in the open by the pool. Some would actually pass out there and I would find them in the morning when I would go down for my coffee. They definitely were not a good look for The Rosen.
- Patricia (10/5): - Staff was friendly, the area was quiet and close to Universal.
- Leslie (10/5): - First time in Orlando for a Conference at the Orange County Convention Center. Glad I booked a room at the Rosen Centre Hotel as my Conference was held at the West Concourse. The hotel provides a bridge connecting to the West Concourse for easy access. This was a huge plus for me. There are many dining choices plus a 24 hr. market/grill for early/late food needs. Hotel is beautiful and many folks took advantage of the pool and pool side bar and restaurant. Great Location!
- Anthony (10/5): - Great spot! Lots of dining options. Super convenient for attending a conference at the convention center. Would definitely stay here again.
- Hyacinthe (10/5): - Amenities, location, shops, restaurants
- Catina (8/5): - It is a conference center so it is always busy
- Joseph (6/5): - Handicapped parking and accessibility
- Amber (10/5): - Beautiful, clean property. It’s huge!
- Tyneisha (10/5): - Love it I always stay here and their sister properties are great
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Restaurant open
- Anthony (8/5): - The water pressure in the shower was really not good besides that it was a nice day, but we probably wouldn’t stay again for that reason
- Ashlee (8/5): - Bathroom was not 100% clean.
Rowdy hallway neighbors were frustrating but thankful they were able to accommodate a room change for us
- Shiloh (10/5): Give it a chance - Honestly this is a great place to stay for events at the convention center. Much better value than the other nearby hotels. Service was good, rooms are nice and the mattresses are SO comfortable. Would stay here again.
- MadCapSkier (6/5): A fusty smelling room made the stay uncomfortable - The room we were given in this hotel was fusty and no amount of air freshener was going to change that. They need to clean the carpets once a month as they were dirty and the smell was coming from them. We didn't insist on a change of room because we were only there for a few days but this has to be addressed as it is not a good hotel experience.
- nelsoncM172KO (10/5): very good stay - Very nice, clean, modern hotel. Cost was more reasonable than expected but cost was based on a large reunion. Service was very good.
- Plush_maker (2/5): Bugs in room. My time is their compensation. - I found bugs in my room that somewhat resembled bedbugs in their adult stage. They proceeded to lie to me and call them silverfish, “shrug bugs”, roach larva, and completely made up bug names.
For my troubles, the hotel had me spend my business trip time packing and moving my luggage and merchandise to another room.
- jean (10/5): - 10/10
- Jeffery (10/5): - The stay was great. It was a little noisy sometime, but there was a lot of people there. The only issue I really have was with the parking passes.
- Ashley (10/5): - Very good
- Marcus (10/5): - Everything
- Harum (10/5): - I enjoyed how streamlined the check-in process was and how friendly the staff was.
- Gill (10/5): Well nice - It is good for whatever you are planning for Orlando
- erin (10/5): - We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It’s our go to hotel in the area. It’s always clean and comfortable beds. Staff is always nice.
- Stephanie (10/5): - .
- Mark James (10/5): - Great hotel with clean rooms. A lot of amenities and very walkable.
- Blake (10/5): - great all around
- Steven (10/5): - Beautiful hotel with plenty of dining options and a convenient location for a stay in Orlando.
- Contavious (10/5): - The hotel was excellent, the trip was excellent, and the service was excellent.
- Moya (10/5): - Great hotel
- Rafael (10/5): - Great hotel
- Yaneysi (10/5): - Parking fees are expensive, other than that a good experience
- Cynai (10/5): - Hotel room was really nice! It was comfy and the AC worked great! They put us in a room near the elevator and it was just a little noisy between the traffic and the ice/vending machine. The walk from parking garage to the front desk/rooms is LONG! Overall I would stay here again.
- Patricia (10/5): - Very comfortable bed and bedding. Great soundproofing in the rooms, I never heard anyone else and I know it was very busy. Room has a little fridge but not a freezer. Room doesn't have a microwave but there is one available for use in the lobby cafe. As a woman travelling along, I felt very safe there. So with soundproof room, comfy bed and feeling save, I slept very soundly. Highly recommend.
