• Grace (2/5): This hotel is permanently closed! - This hotel is closed yet they are booking it. I was first sent to le Meridian and then to Aloft. Without notice.
• DUNCAN (2/5): Hotel had shut down two weeks earlier! - Arrived at our hotel to find it had shut down several weeks previously. The hotel provided no warning and still took the full hotel charges (which they have not refunded 5 days later). I arrived into Dubai at 3am after a long flight and had to arrange alternate hotel for my family. The hotel have not even made contact 5 days later. Extremely disappointing.

• Jann (10/5): - All the possible extras(toiletries ,towels etc) in hotel is at the room and all are clean towels and linens and the room smells amazing. The room is definitely clean than other hotels I stayed in.
• Zahran (8/5): - The stay was good. Good service at the entrance for car parking. I only have an observation on the cleanliness which it could be made better. There was a sheet that was placed on the bed (not the bed sheet or the blanket). This sheet is not even necessary to have it was just a decoration sheet. But there was hair on it. So we have just removed it and it was ok.

• Christophe (10/5): Found my hotel coming to work in Dubai - The staff, from the night front desk when I checked in, to the day reception personnel and the breakfast staff is what makes this hotel. It is clean, close to metro, has everything I need (nice room, space, clean, quiet, safe, and gym), even though you can tell it is a bit outdated. I found my hotel when coming to Dubai for business and want to pay reasonable price.

• David (8/5): Good hotel - The room was large clean and tidy , however the view from the window was straight into someone’s kitchen so the blinds stayed pulled. There is a store close by to save using the extortionately priced mini bar. Good food from the restaurants in the hotel reasonably priced. Overall a good clean hotel well placed for the airport.

• MARK (10/5): A great find in Dubai - One of the older hotels in the City but close location to the airport. Excellent choice of rooms with very good staff with an excellent Customer Relations Manager. Rooms are very comfortable with a good selection of dining options. Pool and gym facilities are to a very good standard. Would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

• Kate (2/5): - Run down and poorly maintained. This is not a 4 star hotel. Most staff are great and cope well with the poor conditions. They work hard to overcome the issues that guests experience. Pool is unusable and in deep shade all day. Electrics are not safe and few power points work. Coffee machines old and noisy, heating non existent. Right by a busy road and no sound proofing. Best to avoid until its had a long overdue refurbishment.

• Ratish (2/5): Very bad experience - It's a dated hotel with horrible service, our checkin and checkout was so miss managed. The back side of the hotel is a dumpyard, it's not a lively place.

• SIMON K (8/5): Close to airport - Hotel located close to CAE training Centre. So this place met my needs. For travelers visiting Dubai, not much to see near hotel but train station is 12 min walk and by train it is easy to travel to the tourist sites on a budget. The airport is only 15 min taxi... Irish village about 10 min walk..

• Verified traveler (8/5): If going for a flight, Location is superb - Hotel is old and needs refurbishing. To be fair, beds are comfortable enough to have a good night sleep before a flight. It is very near Dubai International airport. However, the staffs need to be more accurate next time when arranging an airport transfer, my request wasn't handled well and I was almost late for the flight. Take the metro as it is walking distance and it is in fact has a linked to the airport.

• Ruth (8/5): Great bed and service - Hotel was in great location for nearby venue we were attending. Front desk service was fantastic and we were upgraded and able to check in early. We were also offered late check out. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Bath was not as clean as I’d of liked. Room was a little dated but a great size.
• Robert (2/5): Stay away - you have been warned! - Liars - I am a gold card member which entitles me to a room upgrade if there is one available. They lied and said that there were none available. I went on the starwood website and could book the next room level up. When challenged with this FACT, they continued to lie to my face which was very disrespectful. They treated me like I was born yesterday. Tired old hotel, grotty, windows needed cleaning. Outdated. Poor staff. Bad attitudes. STAY AWAY!!!!!
• Sian (2/5): This hotel is definitely not 4 star - Lucky we were only staying for one night after arriving late. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. It was very run down and old fashioned. The photos on expedia are not representative of the realiry. There were lots of paint patch up jobs and a hole in the bathroom roof. The staff were not friendly and helpful and in the case of the airport pick up staff down right unhelpful and rude. I would not willingly stay here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Customer Service, Comfort & Convenience - I have been staying at this hotel exclusively for years after staying at a few other similarly priced hotels. Le Meridien Fairway staff are the best in the business. They always welcome me like family. The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and close to the metro and within walking distance of some very good restaurants. If there is anything I think could make my stay better it would only be one thing; there could be more TV stations to choose from.

• Newsod (8/5): Only one night - Because of a flight delay from Nairobi to Dubai, we just spent one night at the hotel. We arrived around midnight and was quickly processed into a very nice room. The toilet didn't work properly, however, but we were immediately given another room, equally as nice. We were starved and ordered food from room service. The soup and sandwich tasted quite good. We ordered a wake up call, which consisted of some one actually knocking on the door, to my surprise, having expecting just a phone call. One note: the taxi beat us on the fare to the hotel. When i asked the desk clerk, he informed me of the correct rate and that is what i paid to go back to the airport.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect place near to Dubai Airport - The hotel was in the center of Dubai and very near to Dubai Airport. I stayed at this hotel for a night only for my next connection flight during next day, so didn't have much time to explore the place. I like the hotel service, the environment was fine, its much closer to Deira. My room was clean and the hotel management did a great job to provide me an early check-in by 9.30am instead of 2 pm check-in provided by other hotels. I didn't have to wait long for my room. Overall, I am so happy with the hotel stay and services. Definitely a perfect place to stay near Dubai International airport.

Noticed that there were planned renovations and I feel these are needed as the décor was a bit dated. However the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the bed was extremely comfortable and the whole room very clean.

• Fuad (2/5): Hotel below par - Not one of my best experiences. Very old hotel. If you are looking for cleanliness, this is not it. Local area has nothing happening. The staff were not well versed. There was construction (asbestos) going on with no separation from guests - so I practically had to step over workers after getting off the elevator. Dirty stained shower. I'm both Marriott and SPG platinum - no benefits here. They did not recognize SPG platinum. Will not stay here next time.

• Lee (4/5): Hotel in need of revamp - Our room was very dark and in need of cleaning. The carpets were dirty and so was the valance on bed (stained). The bathroom was ok but in need of a re vamp, as was the rest of the hotel. First impressions are the best so hotel should start with supplying their staff with new uniforms as everyone's jackets were all shiney due to over washing and pressing. I can't take anything away from the staff themselves as they went out their way to help and nothing was a trouble to them, all very friendly. If Hotel was given a make over it would be beautiful and very handy as close to airport and with the metro being right around the corner it's very handy to go exploring Dubai.
