Shelley (9/5): Exceeded my expectations - I will be back no question! - Felt like a home away from home - much bigger room than expected, with enough space to relax and feel comfortable. Good for work purposes, and even a kitchen for staying in and cooking. Perhaps some basics in the kitchen so I didn't have to buy it all for just one night's stay (oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc.).
Divan (10/5): My go to and best stay when visiting Joburg - This remains my best stay when I visit Johannes's - the hotel is spotless - they call me by name - they know my favourites and the rooms are just incredible. I will recommend this to anyone wanting a well deserved break or when doing a business visit to the city. I have been here 10 times - and this remains the best hotel in the City to visit. It is small and personal - which is much needed in this busy City. Thx as always for the incredible stay. Loved everything

Basetsana (8/5): Pleasent and as expected - The welcome desk ladies were very kind on both encounters, easy access to everything, adequate parking, the quick service, the cleanliness of the entire facility, the rooftop view The kitchen staff was a little slow with the breakfast (waited for more than an hour to get breakfast) but the egg bacon Benedict ‘I promise you’ made up for the lost time. It was perfect, perfectly balanced sauce and very filling

Another observation. Service is relaxed and on African time. Don’t expect the speed of macdonalds!! Loved the dogs! How great to have them so friendly. Continental breakfast included great coffee, fresh fruit and made to order dishes like eggs Benedict, french toast and omelettes. I also had dinner there and had a fantastic chicken and salad dish. Great staff. Only a 5 min uber drive to Rosebank Mall. Highly recommended Nothing. It was superb

amanda (10/5): Fabulous place highly recommend - Everything! Beautiful hotel the rooms were spacious and the beds so comfortable - you can choose your own pillow too definitely home from home. The breakfast was incredible all freshly made to order. Nothing.

Gareth (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a safe neighborhood - After a very stressful journey, I immediately felt at peace checking into this hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The honesty bar is a great idea and enabled me to have a glass of wine in my room despite my late arrival. The hotel allowed me to check out an hour late free of charge, which I appreciated. My room was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed my berry smoothie. The hotel has excellent security and is in a nice neighbourhood. I've just completed a trip across southern Africa. I stayed in 6 hotels and this one was my favourite. I think it is excellent value for the high standard. No negatives during my stay.

Hayley (10/5): Literally your home away from home and if you miss your doggies, Millie & Maggie will gladly be your surrogates. - It was well kept. I loved seeing Maggie and Millie - it made me feel at home and miss my dogs. In our room 202, there was a window in our bathroom that at night we had to close the bathroom door as there seemed to be a light on, shining through that window. Other than that Nothing much to not like.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Das Frühstück sehr gut, Die Lage des Hotels ist relativ ruhig, Durch den Sicherheitsdienst fühlt man sich sehr sicher. Der Service beim Früstück ist nicht besonders schnell.
Yihan (10/5): - Nice and friendly staff. This is the most impressive thing during my stay. The two dogs are super cute. Good breakfast and dinner options, and they can send the food to your room too. Beautiful design in the public area. Dinner sometimes is slow to serve… nothing else to complain about.
