Nello staff ad ogni turno c'era del personale italiano, per cui non abbiamo avuto nessun problema comunicativo; ragazze simpatiche, gentilissime e disponibilissime. Se proprio devo cercare la perfezione, nel locale dove si poteva cenare (Hamburger e piatti di carne, stampo giovanile), tenere la musica più bassa (dato che siamo anziani)

The entire place is beautiful — from the lobby filled with gorgeous flowers, to the bar and restaurant (with a fantastic bartender), to our amazing suite with stunning views. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the insanely busy downtown but still in the center of everything. It was walkable to nearly every place we wanted to go, central station, Damrak, De Jordaan, De 9 Straatjes, de pijp, museums, red light, everything was an easy walk. The suite was spacious with plenty of storage, a large closet, two comfortable sitting areas, and a large bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like local cookies waiting in the room. And the view truly could not have been better — So many windowns! Overlooking the flower market, lively streets, the clock tower, and beautiful canals.

Dominick (3/5): Won't come back - Location. Carpet has stains. Someone cut nails which were left on bathroom counter. Staff are not helpful. On the day of our arrival, we found out my wife's mother passed away. We had to leave earlier for the funeral. We applied to the check out desk for a partial cancellation. They never replied. I sent messages to the manager, which were also ignored. Not nice.

JudithCharms71 (4/5): Very disappointing - Really disappointed with this hotel. After staying at the Nh hotel in Copenhagen which was really lovely we thought we’d give the hotel chain a go in Amsterdam. The hotel feels tired, corridors and lifts could do with a spruce up. Bathrooms are very nice, although would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath tub. Reception seem welcoming and helpful. We checked in after 4pm and there seemed to be some issue. They had to make a call to make sure room was ready. Check in is from 3pm. The bed is very hard and very uncomfortable. The decor in the room is. ‘Urban’ I thought they hadn’t finished decorating the room. The room is noisy with music blasting until early hours. Thankfully it was jazz so not too irritating. The aircon is feeble and don’t get me started on the breakfast €30 for a very disappointing breakfast. The juices are all watery, the cooked breakfast consists of scrambled egg, chicken sausage, tomato, soft hash browns and beans. No bacon. There are cold poached eggs with hollandaise sauce if you feel adventurous. The fruit (melon and pineapple on offer) is tasteless. Decaff coffee out of sachets available. There are pastries and bread which are fresh,, but to fill up on a slice of bread and a small pastry for €30 is a bit much. Everything else was so disappointing and really not enjoyable. Plenty of other hotels so look elsewhere.

The room we were assigned was indeed large, but it was right to the main street with tram traffic. We were then given a different, quieter room as a downgrade, but it was too small for two people.

mindaf2023 (10/5): Uniques Atmosphere, Great Location and Very Friendly Staff - We enjoyed our stay so much! Location is walking distance to everything. Museums, Restaurants and Shops. Staff was very helpful, friendly and holds luggage pre and post checkout. Its stops away from the flower market. The breakfast choices are vast and they are very accommodating to dietary needs. We would gladly stay here again.
