• Lu Alexandre (10/5): - Large room with a walk-in closet. Comfortable bed. Impeccable cleanliness. The staff was very helpful in adjusting our reservations. Due to an oversight, I ended up booking fewer days than intended and made two separate reservations through Booking. They handled everything so we didn’t have to switch rooms or check in again. They were also kind enough to provide an extra breakfast voucher. We had made one reservation with breakfast and another without. The hotel is well-located, allowing us to walk to most tourist attractions. It’s not that we didn’t like it, but just to note that breakfast isn’t served at the hotel. You receive a voucher with three breakfast options that will be served at a café located 120 meters from the hotel.

• Külli (3/5): Dark, damp, smelly, no reception. - I liked only the breakfast room. Very many problems with check-in as there is no reception, also with the room and the entire "hotel". The staircase is old, damp and smelly. Our room was on the first floor, basically without daylight, the windows opened onto a tiny courtyard with a roof over it. The room was very dark, also damp and smelly. The phone number to call in case of problems was sent by message, but no one answered when we called. The better rooms are on the higher floors, as we heard at the breakfast. Rooms 9 and 10 are on the first floor. The breakfast was definitely not wonderful, as advertised. On the first morning it was particularly poor, a few slices of sausage and cheese, dried avocado pieces, visibly several days old. The photos on Booking are of the breakfast room and the better rooms which were nice. But be careful when booking this hotel, because you don't know what room you will get. This hotel does not meet basic standards.

• Kate (8/5): Comfortable, spacious and central - Great central location - in between the Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. Lovely room with very high ceilings, full bookshelves and comfy bed. Characterful town house with nice breakfast. Clean and well appointed. A little noisy on a Saturday night but the windows were pretty sound proof. Would have loved a bath!

The rooms are elegant, the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast is wonderful (especially with the fresh pastries!). Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like, everything was just perfect! We absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back and try the rooftop room next time.

De garage regelt dat je zonder vergunning door de ZTL zone kunt rijden (je rijdt eerst zonder vergunning door die zone en bij aankomst van de garage melden ze je aan in die zone).

Что особенно понравилось, каждый день уборка, как в отеле, даже посуду мыли, что в Европе редкость. Ставили воду, чай, капсулы к кофемашине, сладости, напитки и сухарики бесплатно. Посуды мало. Всего 3 чашки, сковородки давно пора менять. Нет ключа в ванной.

• Mariia (6/5): - The place is clean, and the room is spacious enough. They refill water and snacks daily, using glass bottles, which I love. The location is great. We stayed in Room 4, which was very noisy because it’s next to the reception area. People checking in were constantly making noise. The most disruptive sound was the bell at the reception desk, which rang loudly, especially around 10 PM and 7:30 AM. I’m not sure if someone forgot their key, but it woke my husband and me up, and it was very annoying.
• Viola (9/5): Traumhafte Terrasse, leckeres Frühstück und super Lage! - Also die Terrasse ist das absolute Highlight der Suite und der Hängesessel! Das war wirklich mega. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, einen Wein zu trinken und auf dem Palazzo Veccio zu schauen und noch dazu der Sternenhimmel, mehr geht nicht. Super! Das Frühstück ist wirklich ebenso super! Für Italien einfach super lecker! Und ein sehr nettes Personal. Die Lage ist mittendrin in der City und dennoch ruhig auf der Terrasse! Wir waren begeistert. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut und bläst nur in eine Richtung, nämlich zum Bett, was dann in der Nacht störend ist. Das Bad im unteren Bereich der Suite hat kein Fenster und keinen Abzug. Man muss erst eine hohe "Mauer" von ca 80 cm. überwinden, um in die Dusche zu gelangen. Das ist nicht für jede Person geeignet. Die Duschumrandung ist schwer zu händeln und der Duscharm ist in die Jahre gekommen.
• Anthony (9/5): Summer in Florence - The location is so close to everything. Right in the heart of the city and walking distance to the top attractions. It was also peaceful and quiet, considering the amount of people in the city at peak holiday time. The shower is quite difficult to get in and out of. Not recommended for people who are not 100% stable on their feet. Initially a little hard to find the entrance. The local restaurant helped us and said it's quite a common occurrence. Would recommended a small street map as Google maps is not that accurate.

• james (1/5): Unprofessional Handling of Lost Medical Item - I stayed at Aqa Palace Florence recently and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, my custom dental appliance (a medical device) disappeared from my room after housekeeping service. It was wrapped in tissue and left on the bedside table — nowhere near a trash bin or in a location that could be reasonably mistaken for garbage. At first, the hotel acknowledged the situation and promised reimbursement, which I appreciated. However, they later reversed this decision and refused to take responsibility, despite the clear circumstances. This has caused significant inconvenience and expense, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable — especially from a hotel that claims to value guest satisfaction. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious with their personal belongings, especially anything of value or medical importance, as the staff and management may not be willing to take responsibility even when at fault. I sincerely hope the hotel reconsiders its position and does the right thing.
• Ormos (8/5): Összességében nagyon jó volt, ajánlani tudom. :) - Első nap ablak nélküli szobát kaptunk. Bár szép nagy volt, és két wc is volt benne másnap szobacserét kértünk, amiben nagyon segítőkészek voltak. Nagyon jó volt a reggeli, bőséges és finom. Közel van az Ufficihez, teljesen a belvárosban van. Az első szobában, ahol cserét kértünk csatornaszag volt.
• giacy86 (8/5): Appartamento grande, bello e posizione ottima. Purtroppo qualche problema con l'acqua. - Appartamento molto grande; pulizia impeccabile con cambio giornaliero e letti comodissimi. Ci è stata fatta trovare una culla anche se non richiesta. La cucina è dotata di tutto il necessario e sono presenti diverse stoviglie. Nel frigo bar inoltre ci sono state fornite ogni giorno bibite, acqua e snack. Posizione ottima in pieno centro. Purtroppo abbiamo avuto qualche problema con i servizi igienici: già dal nostro arrivo il wc era otturato. Seguito segnalazione e intervento tecnico con rimozione e riapplicazione del wc è stato risolto. Inoltre abbiamo avuto problemi con l'acqua: ogni 5 minuti circa il flusso si riduceva tanto per circa un minuto e l'acqua calda era presente per 30 secondi e poi basta. Anche questo problema segnalato allo staff che però la prima volta ci ha detto che si trattava di un problema dell'acquedotto (?) e non potevano risolvere; segnalato nuovamente ci è stata ammessa la presenza di un guasto alla caldaia che è stato risolto l'ultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno.

Loved starting the day on the balcony with a great view and morning coffee. The online reception service was quick, helpful, and friendly. Nothing to mention.

• Daniel (9/5): Gemütlich und in perfekter Lage um das historische Florenz zu erkunden - Sehr Zentrale Lage, direk auf der Rückseite des Museo Barghello. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der historischen Altstadt in maximal 5-15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Schön ausgestattetes, helles Zimmer mit einem tollen Bad und Klimaanlage. Sehr sauber und einigen sehr schönen Antikmöbeln eingerichtet. Leckeres, frisches Frühstücksbuffet Frühstück wird an einem großen Gemeinschaftstisch serviert. Für uns kein Problem, aber andere möchten vielleicht eher einzelne Tische

• Wojciech (9/5): comfortable stay in Firence old town - great localization just in the centre of old city, spacious appt, good breakfast, very helpful staff relatively loud air condition in the bedroom, very loud in the living room, so if someone is going to use it as 4-person accomodation those sleeping on the sofa might have problems with the noise

De link voor online check in werkt maar voor 1 kamer, wij hadden er 2 en kregen 4 reminders per dag (automatisch gegenereerd) dat check in niet compleet was. Ondanks verschillende pogingen dit per whatsapp en online op te lossen lukte dat maar niet.

• Jacopo (1/5): Peggior soggiorno della mia vita - Posizione centrale. Esperienza disastrosa, la peggiore mai avuta in una struttura. Ho prenotato e pagato per una camera deluxe, ma il servizio è stato indegno del prezzo richiesto. Appena arrivato, mi siedo sul WC e rischio di cadere: la tavoletta era solo appoggiata, totalmente instabile. Contatto il receptionist via WhatsApp (in struttura era presente solo la signora delle pulizie), e dopo 20 secondi viene mandata proprio lei a "controllare". Ovviamente, non è stato riparato nulla. Ma il peggio doveva ancora venire: l’aria condizionata non funzionava, e in piena estate a Firenze, con 35 gradi in camera(percepiti 45), è inaccettabile. Prima ancora che segnalassi il problema, è stata la signora delle pulizie a portarmi un ventilatorino, segno evidente che la struttura sapeva già che l’AC era guasta. Quando ho provato a contattare di nuovo il receptionist, ha semplicemente smesso di rispondere: ignorati messaggi e chiamate. Nessuna soluzione, nessuna alternativa, nessuna possibilità di parlare con un responsabile. Una gestione imbarazzante, totalmente priva di serietà e rispetto verso il cliente. Assistenza inesistente, zero trasparenza, e un caldo soffocante che ha reso impossibile dormire. Da evitare.
• Elizabeth (10/5): - Great stay for our family. We ended up getting two rooms for three adults and two kids. They even set up an extra rollaway bed for the kids so they didn’t have to share the pullout. Kept our bags until our room was ready early and after we left. Great stay overall.

• Jennifer (8/5): Beautiful old building but ask for details on accessing your room. - Great location and beautiful terrace. The terrace room was pretty. Enjoyed the views. We had two rooms. An apartment for 3 people and junior suite for two with terrace. Apartment was large but bad air conditioning in bedroom. Uncomfortable in high heat nights. Suite was very pretty but was not told that it was a two flight walk upstairs to get to bedroom after elevator ride. Main bath was on lower floor and was practically unusable for my 6 foot 3 husband due to a low ceiling in shower. We would have chosen a different room if we knew.
