• mazzy38 (10/5): Merveilleux séjour que je renouvellerai sans hésiter - Dona lena est idéalement situé au coeur de Naples, ce qui rend l'accès à tous les principaux quartiers très aisé. En même temps, l'immeuble est complétement protégé du bruit ambiant provenant de la circulation automobile. Cela est grandement appréciable après une journée de visite dans Naples ! Quant à l'appartement il est très confortable et bien équipé. Les hôtesses sont extrêmement disponibles et sympathiques. Rien à de particulier.

Titi a été adorable avec nous, et nous a donné de très bons conseils pour profiter de Naples Quelques moustiques dans la chambre, et le prix un peu excessif, en tenant de la taxe de séjour qui est payée plus tard.

• Rafael (10/5): - Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt neben dem Piazza Bovio und der Metro-Station Universitá. Wir konnten zu Fuß zum Hafen, zum spanischen Viertel und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt spazieren. Titti war eine großartige Gastgeberin die uns viele hilfreiche Tipps und Unterstützung gegeben hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist eher hellhörig, sowohl was andere Gäste als auch Lärm von der Straße betrifft (was direkt an einem großen Platz aber zu erwarten ist). Ein, zwei Haken mehr für Jacken wären super :)

• Antonio Jose (10/5): Excelente opción en Nápoles - Excelente estadía, es un apartamento muy bien ubicado, con habitaciones amplias, limpias y muy bien decoradas. La propietaria es una persona muy atenta y nos dio excelentes recomendaciones, tanto para restaurantes como actividades y sitios para realizar compras. La próxima vez que regresemos a Nápoles, no dudaré en quedarme nuevamente en este alojamiento.

• Sophie (2/5): The room was fine the main door lock was a problem in my experience. - The room was fine. The lock on the main door. I couldn’t get out two days in a row. The metal button got stuck. I had to wait til the handyman came to let me out one day and the cleaner the next. The senora who owned it told me this had never happened before and implied it was my mistake. Who can say but it was my experience and that’s all I’m writing about.

• Monique (7/5): Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Napels - De ligging van de accommodatie, de aanwezigheid van een ruime keuken, goede badkamer, de nabijheid van warenhuis, haven, metro en aantal bezienswaardigheden. Het onthaal eerder afgestemd op beschikbaarheid van gastvrouw ipv op die van de gast, weinig licht voorzieningen in de kamer ( 1 fel groot licht en minimale lichtpunten rond bed, geen lichtpunten op andere plaatsen (bv bij overige bedden of beetje sfeerverlichting),ontbrak aan warmte in de aankleding van de kamer voor mensen die daar prijs op stellen.
• Gaetan (9/5): - Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Donna Lena : la chambre était assez spacieuse pour une famille de 4, dans un très bel immeuble. L'emplacement est top : on peut tout faire à pied et profiter des charmes de Naples. Donna Lena est très disponible et la communication avec elle est facile, avec des recommandations de restos tout proche du logement. Merci ! Il a juste manqué une cafetière dans la cuisine (ou je ne l'ai pas trouvé?).

• Javier (8/5): - The room was okay. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. One item to improve is the smell of sewage in the bathroom.
• Annaliese (6/5): - Good: Room was large, clean, and in a good location. Easy to access the subway and the port. Hostess was accessible via what’s app for questions. Bad: Room was not as pictured, bedding was serviceable, but not as described. There is NO soundproofing; everything in the common area could be heard in the bedrooms, and I’m sure vice versa. The hostess asked the same questions more than 5 times despite having the answers. It was frustrating. Overall, it’s a great location, but not worth the price.
• Alfred (6/5): - The check-in and the check-out procedures are easy. The room is basically clean. Staff is helpful. However, the property lacks maintenance and upgrades. Mold was found at the ceiling of the washroom and rust around the shower. Towels and blanket are old (although clean). Rooms are not sound proof and the main door is noisy that woke me up when other tenants came in or out at night. Nothing is close to "Luxury", as it was claimed to be.

Es muy conveniente, frente al Depto hay unos restaurantes de comida napolitana muy ricos homemade style. Hay varios estacionamientos en las cercanías (privados y no muy baratos). Resumiendo, volvería al mismo Depto sin duda

Elle est bien équipée La chambre était un peu « défraîchie » par endroit (papier peint décollé, draps et serviettes un peu rêches, peinture abîmée). L’isolation n’est pas terrible et si vos voisins de chambre sont bruyants, vous entendrez toutes leurs conversations.

We had an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would recommend single, couples, and families to come visit and stay. Wifi is available in the property as well as AC very important as we visited in the hot Aug summer break. The city has a lot to offer for food and history and for the romantics you can go to the islands by walking distance to the Ferry Port that have ferries going to all the Islands, Amalfi Coast/Positano, Ischia, and other islands. Lots of great food options also. If you want to stay within a family budget you can go to Via Toledo there are many nice shops, restaurants, cafes there. Enjoy your stay!

• Meranda (8/5): - Overall, great stay and great host! The only downside to our room was the noise. We could hear everything happening outside of our door and everything from the room next to us. Noise cancellation was non-existent and we were woken up with loud door slams and very chatty people, which was obviously annoying but we looked past it. The room itself was great and so was our host! She let us leave our bags after checking out. We had a later flight and wanted to spend more time around the city and our bags were securely retrieved when we finally left.

From the moment we arrived, she took the time to share helpful tips and pointed us toward unique and interesting things to do around the city. She was so friendly, sweet, and always responsive when we had questions, especially over WhatsApp, which made everything so easy. Titti also helped us arrange reliable taxi services, which was a huge help. The property itself is spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. Look no further! This place is a true gem! It was perfect!
• Violato (10/5): Easy, comfy, worth it. - The location is fantastic—very central, with everything within walking distance. If needed, the metro station is right outside. Getting to and from the airport is also easy, as the Alibus from the port is just a short walk from the accommodation. The place itself is clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to enjoy a quiet meal at "home". The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed, clean linens, working AC, blackout blinds, a spacious bathroom, and excellent water pressure in the shower. A standout feature was the daily cleaning service, which is uncommon for this type of accommodation. Our host was wonderful—helpful, communicative, and generous with recommendations on places to visit, sights to see, and where to eat. We were also able to leave our bags at the accommodation after checkout, which let us enjoy the last hours of our holiday more freely. Access to the building and apartment was all done via codes, so there was no need for keys or waiting for someone to open the doors after returning them—very convenient. Noise at night: Nearly every night, our neighbors disregarded the quiet hours after 10 p.m., with loud conversations, door slamming, and even singing—sometimes past midnight. While we understand this can be a downside of shared accommodations and is outside the host’s control, it’s something worth considering when booking. Hallway lights at night: The hallway lights shine through the room door, which wouldn’t be an issue if guests turned them off after entering their rooms. Unfortunately, we had to leave our room multiple times at night to switch them off, which disrupted our sleep. A possible solution could be adding reminder signs or installing a timer so the lights switch off automatically after a certain hour. The following are just minor suggestions and observations and didn’t significantly impact our stay: The AC lights couldn’t be turned off, and while not very bright, they were a bit distracting at night. A small sticker to cover the LEDs might help. The bed creaked slightly with movement, and the headboard was a bit loose—likely an easy fix with some tightening or oil. The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally unreliable. A larger trash can in the kitchen would be a helpful improvement.

• Gethyn (10/5): Exceptional - It was so convenient for a visit to the best attractions of Naples. The room is ideal for a city visit, clean and plenty of space. Always hot water, air conditioning a must. Cleaned every day with new towels too. Also a nice kitchen to make tea and coffee. Should we return to do the things we missed then we will stay here again. A couple of nights someone was sitting on their internal balcony chatting away till too late. That was a local though and nothing to do with the apartments.

• Charlotte (7/5): Great location - adequate facilities - Great kitchen facilities, but I did not need those. Charming building and great location. The decor of the rooms are like in the pictures, but that is all. Other details are not that lovely, such as the lighting, the trash bins, soap dispenser, toilet paper, towels and linnen - all these could be improved with little effort. Drain in sink was clogged and there was mold in the bathroom. Entrance/corridor feels uncomfortable. There is no breakfast, even though there is a picture of breakfast on Booking.com. So pay attention and don’t get confused. I asked for recommendations for breakfast restaurants several times but did not get an answer.

There was also a little fridge & air conditioning with heating in the room. Fantastic location. Really central but very quiet & safe. The lady was also very nice and even gave great restaurant recommendations. There’s lots of services, shops & cafes nearby, too!

Only thing is that the city is crawling with pickpockets that want to pick your pockets, which isn't a knock on the property but the city of Napoli itself. FIVE stars for Dona Lena Relais!!! Negative stars for Maradonaville, I mean Napoli. But STAY HERE if you must subjugate yourself to this city.

A little more privacy and noise insulation between the rooms and the hall would have been nice.

I really liked the communication with the host, every indication was clear, we easily managed to locate and access the room. What could be improved is the cleaning service of the bathroom and maybe change the bed sheets more often. I would recommend this location.

• Katelyn (8/5): Perfect location for a Napoli break! - The location was absolutely perfect. Everywhere that we wanted to visit in Naples (including transport links for further travel) was within easy walking distance. There are great restaurants and bars very near by (less than 10 mins walk), with some just on the doorstep. The building was lovely and we appreciated the communal area with a kitchen for those on a budget needing to cook meals instead of going out. The host was great and helpful with check in/out. It was also very clean and we loved the mini fridge in the room to keep drinks/snacks fresh and cold! Only nit-picking…. We didn’t spend much time at the room with so many places to visit! But, the bed could have been comfier with some extra pillows etc. We also would’ve really appreciated an extra chair so both of us could have sat and played games/ate in the room.

The place was very clean and well equiped! The room was very spacious too. The location is also very nice in town as this is close to many restaurant, attractions and areas of town we wished to see!
• nichole (10/5): - Great location - walkable to port and many transportation options. Airport was close. Donna was responsive and offered great suggestions. I enjoyed the spacious, clean room. There was also a kitchen to make my own food. I enjoyed my stay!
• Ali (10/5): Good location, clean, silent and safe room. - The location was great and it was close to everywhere in the city. The room was very clean and they were cleaning the room every day. The building was super safe. The host was very kind and gave all the necessary informations about room and the city. If I will come to Naples again, I would prefer to stay here again. I would recommend here if you visit Naples. There is nothing that I can say negative.
