• Izabela (6/5): - Nina was very attentive good host really looked after us . Prepared us a breakfast as we were leaving 3.30 am to fly back home . It was ok to stay for one night . You have to go through the restaurant with bags while people are dining . The food at the restaurant was great . We didn’t sleep well due to people talking until 1.00 am next door . Also the road noise outside . The old deco and restaurant smell disturbing too . No atmosphere at all . Good it was only one night .

Nina was very nice and hospitable. Good if you only need to sleep in the room which worked well for us for only one night.

• Christopher (10/5): - Villa Amfora is a lovely, low-key inn. We had a view of the harbor, which was a nice surprise. Nina, the housekeeper, took great care of us with early bag drop-off and early check-in as well as a nice continental breakfast.

Cons: the room was much smaller than pictured and toilet was leaking onto the bathroom floor. Other: only about 10 minutes by bus into the old city, but about an hour’s walk.

Helped with luggage, extra pillows, first aid (ice), and provided a variety of quality breakfast options. The location was superb. The restaurant below was great too! Highly recommend especially to stay prior to our cruise.

Nina and Kristian are excellent hosts and arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport which was more than welcome. Breakfast was also very good and Nina will offer help with any questions you have. Thank you for all your help.

• Virginie (8/5): - Positif: Bonne localisation pour ceux qui arrivent de l’aéroport en bus (500m de la gare de bus) ou qui veulent avoir accès au port. Supermarché juste à côté Restaurant et arrêt de bus vers la vieille ville juste en dessous. Nina, l’hôtesse d’accueil est très sympathique. Grands rangements dans la chambre. Négatif : Petite chambre non insonorisée et les murs sont très fins donc on entend les discussions des chambres voisines mais surtout la musique et bruits de rue quotidiens jusqu’assez tard dans la nuit.

• Kevin (8/5): Clean and Pleasant - The BnB is located upstairs of a restaurant of the same name but run independently of each other. The room was clean with bottled water on the table. There was a TV with multiple stations available. Breakfast was coffee , juice, cheeses, meats, bread , yoghurt with toppings along with fresh fruit. Nina, who is the caretaker is constantly cleaning the common area and has a genuine smile. She provided guidance to bus stations etc. One of the other guests came in then went to their room and returned promptly to thank Nina for something and offered hugs it was nice to witness. However, this is on a busy street so you do hear street noises if your room is on the street side. The accommodation is located within 5 minutes of the ferry(walking) 10 minutes to the bus stop (walking), and 40 minutes to Old Town (walking) but a bus is also available.

• Kathryn (10/5): Delightful Stay - highly recommend. - Apart from the comfort, thoughtful touches, friendly welcome and excellent breakfast, the manager, Nina, and owner, Kristina, are delightful. l watched them go out of their way for all the guests to make their stay comfortable and meet their needs. The restaurant below is excellent as well with very friendly, helpful waiters. Proximity to the bus station and port and public transport are a bonus.

• Nancy (8/5): - This has a perfect location ten minutes walk from the bus station and surrounded by cafes and lovely walking area to start exploring the city. The breakfast(included) is complete and lovely. The manager Nina is wonderful and sending a text prior to check in she will always be available. The sole downside is that it is a bit noisy if your room is on the street side (traffic and people noise until about midnight, plus early sounds from breakfast area beginning at 7 am). Overall nonetheless I would stay here again as it is clean and comfortable with wonderful service!

Siisti ja kompakti paikka, huone pieni, mutta toikiva yöpymistä varten, ei vanhassa kaupunkissa olevien majapaikkojen jatkuvia jyrkkiä portaita ollenkaan, aamupala oli tuore ja monipuolinen myös kasvisruokailijalle. Sijainti erittäin hyvä lentokenttäbussikuljetuksen näkokulmasta (600 m linja-autoasemalle), bussipysäkki ihan kohdillaan, kun suuntana Old Town. Suosittelemme!

• LAP (10/5): - Amazing stay in Dubrovnik! Thanks a lot for Nina, the Villa's housekeeper, hospitality during my stay in Dubrovnik which really made me feel home and warm. The property location is superb - with bus stop just in front and easy for arranging day trip shuttle bus pick up when staying in Villa Amfora. It is within 15 mins walk from the Central Bus Station anf just near the pier. The location is great that it can be easily accessible by different modes of transportation from and to different important locations of Dubrovnik, from the old town to the airport. There are a restaurant and a bar right downstairs and the grocery, bakery, supermarket, more choices of restaurants are just within 3 minute walk from Villa Amfora. The room is nice, comfortable, safe, clean and quiet. I really enjoy the breakfast arranged by the hotel, it is a buffet style with a lot of choices, normal cofee, turkish cofee, juice, milk, tea and many more options even just for the drink. The food is nice as well. The environment of the breakfast is cozy, a big plus if one can have the breakfast at the sun lit terrace. After all, it is good option of accommodation for value ane has a high CP value.

The room was a reasonable size,v clean and tidy. Fittings are a little dated but, for the price it’s very good value and you could not ask for a better host. It’s very close to the ferry port and has good bus connections.

She prepared a lovely breakfast each morning and arranged a driver to and from the airport. This place was very convenient for catching the ferry to the islands. It included breakfast and shuttles to and from the airport, so was an exceptional deal and made staying there very convenient!!

Værelserne er af ældre dato men det betyder ikke noget for alt fungerer rigtig godt. Tak for en god overnatning.

• Alison (8/5): Was Ok - You have to really look for this place as the entrance is via a restaurant. The service was homely, the room itself was underwhelming but we were only there two nights so we roughed it out, esp cause Dubrovnik city seems unreasonably overpriced. Just FYI, the internet wasn’t strong in the room and there is no lift to the rooms. Dubrovnik Old Town is a 40min walk.
