Close enough to bus routes when needed and not too far from a selection of food providers. Would have liked a welcome/info pack in the room. Carlotta is showing her age a bit, perhaps a little refresh would be nice.

• Brimelow (10/5): - Really lovely place. Very authentic in style with a rustic feel. We were in the main villa which had lovely parquet flooring. It was a little cool for the pool but would be lovely on a warm day. We did sit by the pool at night for a drink. The porter brought the drink to our table outside too. Placed just outside out town approx 20 minute slow walk but was a nice walk and didn't bother us. After a few drinks and food in florence we walked back to the villa carlotta Nothing not to like.

In terms of the Annex Accommodation: Decor is plain and faded (other than the shower rooms). Walls between rooms are thin so doors shutting and toilets flushing nest door can be heard. Many door hinges were squeaking badly and simply needed to be oiled. Flowers in window boxes were largely dead-they simply needed to be watered! The coat hangars in our room were almost all defective, which was infuriating-they MUST be replaced.
• Stephanie (8/5): Lovely - Fabulous staff, pretty grounds and fab breakfast. Quiet and calm and a fairly spacious room (for Italy!) I would book a room in the main building next time. We were in the annex which although was lovely it didn’t have the same charm. The location is slightly out of town which wasn’t a massive issue but just meant it took time to come back to get changed for dinner and then go back out again Neither of the above caused us a problem though and would recommend
• José (8/5): Séjour très agréable dans un très bel endroit mais pas exploité complètement. - Magnifique hôtel chargé d'histoire au milieu d'un poumon verdoyant, possibilité du parking gratuit. Pas si loin du centre historique et si besoin un arrêt de bus à proximité. Un gros manque de rangement dans la chambre où nous étions (4 porte-manteaux en tout et aucune étagère (nos vêtements sont restés dans nos valises)+ impossibilité d'accrocher quoique ce soit dans la salle de bain ni de déposer les trousses de toilettes quelque part. Nous aurions apprécié une petite ambiance musicale lounge au bar afin de profiter d'un verre ou d'un encas ainsi qu'au moment du petit-déjeuner.

• rocco (4/5): - Posizione Assolutamente non un 4 stelle, di buon cuore direi al massimo 3, Camera 305 letto matrimoniale con materassi singoli di cui uno da sostituire non ho chiuso occhio da quanto era scomodo, bagno completamente da rifare, doccia pericolosa in più mancava la porta della cabina doccia(palesemente smontata) macchie di calcinacci e vernice sulle piastrelle,tinteggiatura pessima, assolutamente non piacevole da guardare e utilizzare ripeto non di sicuro 4 stelle il bagno darei un 2 stelle, parcheggio non per tutti ma questo ci può stare. Un consiglio rimodernare un po tutto partendo forse dall'insegna

Las duchas estàn rotas, los tomacorrientes no funcionan, hay hormigas en las habitaciones, no funciona el aire acondicionado. Para nada se parece a lo que ofrecen en la pàgina no considero que la categorìa sea 4 estrellas. La zona es bonita pero el hotel no brinda las condiciones para una estancia agradable.

Есть своя парковка Нас дали соседнее здание от основного. Сразу на входе запах сырости. В нашем номере на входе так сильно воняло плесенью, что никакие проветривания не помогали и мы просто брызгали духами чтобы хоть как то сбить запах. Номера жутко старые. Все обшарпанное, все разваливается. Хорошо что мы остались только на одну ночь

Ademas llendo en direccion contraria en 25 min llegas al mirador de Michelangeloen un paseo muy agradable por esa zona de Florencia. Fueron muchas cosas: - La habitacion estaba echa polvo: la mampara de la ducha le faltaba la puerta por lo que se salia el agua cuando te duchabas, el asiento del wc estaba desencajado y roto, la cisterna se quedaba pillada, los rodapies se caian, la paredes estaban sucias, moho en los marcos de las ventanas, los marcos de los enchufes se caian. - La habitacion olia muy ma al entrarl, como si la hubiesen limpiado con agua sucia. - Cuando nos hacian la habitacion no limpiaban el polvo, ni las mesas. - El parking es bastante estrecho - Los desayunos por 15 eur por persona no merecen la pena, ya que por lo que te cuesta uno desayunas dos en cafe Petrona que esta a 5 min y muchismo mejor.

Meni je bilo tako zelo vsec, ker imam rada zgodovino. Hrana zelo dobra. Imeli smo dober zajtrk..bazen zraven na terasi. Mirna lokacija. Zmotilo me je edino paririsce. Bilo je premajhno za vse . En dan smo dobili zadnji orostor za parirat, nadlednji dan pa je bilo vse zasedeno, tako da smo mogli pustiti avto na zunanjem javnem paririscu.

• 33fd084e036a73cc62417aca17cdaa93 (2/5): - Il soggiorno presso Villa Carlotta è stato profondamente insoddisfacente e ben al di sotto degli standard dichiarati per una struttura a 4 stelle. La prima camera assegnata, situata al piano terra con affaccio diretto sulla strada del parcheggio, risultava rumorosa. La stanza era estremamente calda e, aprendo la finestra, entravano zanzare perché gli scuri non chiudevano correttamente e le zanzariere erano integrati ad essi. Questo ha reso il soggiorno della prima notte particolarmente sgradevole. I dispositivi antizanzare forniti su richiesta erano peraltro non funzionanti. La pulizia della camera era inaccettabile: presenza evidente di polvere e capelli lunghi, come documentato da foto. Anche il bagno risultava trascurato, con un phon a parete obsoleto e mal funzionante. Grave inoltre la non conformità rispetto alla prenotazione: avevamo richiesto un letto matrimoniale, ma ci è stata assegnata una sistemazione con due letti singoli uniti, coperti da un coprimaterasso per mascherare lo spazio centrale. Una soluzione improvvisata e decisamente non adeguata. Solo dopo nostra esplicita richiesta ci è stato concesso un cambio camera, migliorativo ma accompagnato dall’osservazione che si trattasse di una categoria superiore. È opportuno sottolineare che le immagini presenti su Booking corrispondono proprio a questa seconda camera, generando quindi un’aspettativa fuorviante rispetto alla sistemazione iniziale. Anche la colazione si è rivelata al di sotto delle aspettative, sia per varietà che per qualità. Unica nota positiva il personale di sala, gentile e disponibile. Ulteriore elemento poco trasparente riguarda il parcheggio: pubblicizzato come gratuito, ma in realtà limitato a pochi posti non garantiti a tutti gli ospiti. In caso di indisponibilità, gli ospiti sono costretti a ricorrere a parcheggi a pagamento esterni.

• Uros (3/5): - Lokacija je odlicna. Zelenilo svuda okolo kao da ste u sumi. Parking u sklopu objekta. Objekat je veoma star, oseti se neprijatan miris, dvoriste izuzetno prljavo i ne odrzavano, buka u sobama veoma velika, dorucak ako dodjete u 8h vise nema sta da se jede.

Possibilità di lasciare l’auto qualche ora in piu dopo il check-out. Struttura poco curata e con servizi quasi assenti. Informazioni errate sulla ZTL, in realtà vi è una ZTL scudo verde a diversi km prima dell'arrivo....Camera piccola e rumorosa, colazione scadente per cui costosa. Parcheggio interno talmente costipato che a fatica si riesce ad uscire dalla propria auto. Grave problema di sicurezza all’ingresso esterno (marciapiede dissestato e buio), causando una caduta, gestito freddamente e con scarsa attenzione dal personale al corrente gia da tempo. Esperienza complessivamente deludente e non all’altezza delle aspettative, molto lontana da quella raccontata online, non lo consiglierei piu di una notte, meglio fare colazione fuori.

• Laura (8/5): Great mid priced Florence hotel in a nice location - Well presented and well equipped room. I prefer the main building than the separate building. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. For a mid range Florence hotel, it’s good. Porta romana is a great location. It’s nice and leafy streets around it. A few good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. And then it’s a pleasant walk into the centre of Florence.

• Guido (9/5): - Camera grandissima, arredamande gradevole, verde intorno mancava un armadietto per la biancheria (e si che la stanza era grande e piena di spazio) e un ripiano nella doccia, al terzo giornio abbiamo dovuto sollecitare per avere il sapone per la doccia
