And the staff were very helpful in getting our car parked. We liked everything.

Du déjeuner complet servi directement à notre table dans le magnifique jardin aux petites salles communes à caractère historique aux jolies chambres avec vue sur la ville : ces deux nuits furent géniales. L’hôtel est calme, et situé à quelques minutes de marche de tout ce qu’il y a à voir à Gjirokaster. Le principal point positif : le personnel. Ils furent à l’écoute et se sont montrés disponibles pour toutes sortes de problèmes, bien au delà de ce qui serait attendu d’un personnel d’hôtel. Ils nous ont aidé a trouvé un transfert vers la Grèce, nous ont aidé à réglé des problèmes avec notre voiture de location et plus encore.

Μεσα στην συνολική τιμή της bookink υπήρχε ο Δημοτικός φορος, το kalemi hotel μας έβαλε επί πλέον να πληρώσω 4,8 ευρώ, παρότι τους ανέφερα ότι η bookink μας είχε προσδιορίσει την τελική τιμή.

Quisimos entibiar la habitación y el aire acondicionado pero no funcionó. Nada grave, pero la habitación estuvo un pelín fresca. Se nos olvidó comentarlo a la mañana siguiente.

Todo cerca y la zona muy tranquila y con vistas Nuestra habitacion era basica y sin gracia. Si vas con coche resulta complicado el acceso, pero una vez alli hay parking.

Ce n’est qu’en arrivant sur place que vous en mesurerez tout l’avantage :) La rudesse de l’accueil peut interpeller mais en voyage c’est au voyageur de s’habituer

Se siete in auto seguite le indicazioni che vi mandano perché il navigatore può proporre altre strade che però non sono opportune essendo in una posizione molto centrale; bello bello.

The old charm of the architecture is perfectly combined with modern comforts – the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to the incredibly kind staff and the wonderful owner, who takes the time to share fascinating stories about the building’s history and the antiques throughout the hotel. It really adds a personal and authentic touch to the experience. The breakfast was also very good, with fresh options served in a cozy setting. There’s convenient parking available at the hotel, and the historic center of Gjirokastër is just a short walk away – perfect for exploring the beautiful old town without needing the car. If you’re looking for a unique and comfortable stay with a touch of history and heartfelt hospitality, this place is a true gem. We would love to come back!
• Beth (4/5): Just okay - I'm not sure how these other reviews are coming up. The location is not that great it was very difficult to find you will not find it with your GPS. The rooms are outdated some of the curtains are hanging off the AC did not work very good The rooms are clean there is a refrigerator downstairs with water and soda there's no other food here or restaurant. It's a steep hill to get up if you want to go walk around anywhere at all. There is another hotel that they own maybe that one is nicer. I paid $50 a night so there's not much to complain about but if you're looking for more of a hotel with a restaurant and more amenities this is not the one. I got lost I had to actually pay somebody to bring me here when you call the hotel there's nobody that speaks English in the evening at least. The difficulty finding the place. Lack of any kind of amenities the way to keep a drink cold no refrigerators in the room. No food available on the premises. This is not a place if you have trouble walking or you can't handle going up steeper hills

Das Hotel selbst hat extrem viel Charme und eine wunderschöne begrünte Terrasse. In Summe spiegelt sich das Hotel in der mittelalterlichen Stadt wider. Leider ist es (wie überall in der Stadt) schwer zu erreichen und die Beschilderung ist unzureichend

• Rosie (10/5): Carolina really went the extra mile to make this hotel a lovely stay! - Exceptional hospitality from Carolina. She was incredibly welcoming & friendly and the breakfast portions were massive!! Lovely balcony and room with AC with a stunning view (especially during sunset). Bathroom is very modern & clean. The walk from the bus station is steep but that’s representative of anywhere in the old town.

Das andere Zimmer war etwas dunkel und keine besondere Aussicht. Der hauseigene Parkplatz war sehr sehr praktisch. Das Haus hat auch eine Terrasse die einen wundervolle Aussicht ins Tal bietet. Man kann von dem Hotel aus die Altstadt gut zu Fuß erkunden.

• Ana Esther (10/5): Hotel estupendo en ciudad muy interesante - Está muy céntrico (el bazar, el castillo, el túnel de la guerra fría…todo se visita andando), el desayuno es casero y te lo ponen en un patio rodeado de vegetación. Las jóvenes que están son muy muy amables. Avisamos que llegaríamos después de las 21 horas pero al final (es un poco lío dar con el hotel) llegamos unos minutos después de las 22horas. La joven de recepción que ya se iba (ya estaba fuera del parking del hotel) , se paró y me llamó por mi nombre, al decirle que si ella volvió al hotel para hacernos el check in. Esto jamás lo había vivido!!!! Muy amable. Aconsejo no llegar de noche, el hotel está en pleno centro y las calles son pendientes y muy estrechas, nos costó casi una hora de dar vueltas. Sin embargo, de día fue todo muy directo y fácil. Repetiría seguro!!!!!! Vale la pena

• Miss (10/5): Authentic and stunning views - We stayed 1 night in a triple room. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also good and offered a good variety including made to order eggs. The hotel is a short walk from the old Bazaar and offers amazing views of Gjirokaster, we could see the castle from our room.

• simonscherer (7/5): historisches Gemäuer, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis beurteile ich als zu teuer - Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet in dem historischen Gebäude. Die Burg ist fußläufig zu erreichen, ebenson die Altstadt. Der Blick vom Balkon im 2.OG ist großartig. Das Frühstück ist gut, wird im Garten serviert. Es gibt eine Beschreibung zur Anreise. Diese bitte unbedingt beachten. Google Maps führt den PKW ansonsten über Treppen und Fußwege und gesperrte Straßen. Die Matratzen allerdings ziemlich hart. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit zur Verdunkelung, mit Sonnenaufgang ist es taghell im Zimmer :-( Auf unserer zweiwöchigen Rundreise in Albanien war dieses Hotel das teuerste. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich beurteile ich mittelmäßig. Sicherlich ist die Stadt Unesco ausgezeichnet, aber für mein Preisempfinden zu teuer.

• Alan (9/5): À traditional haven - This hotel is a beautiful old ottoman period house. The rooms have many traditional features, but the bathrooms are modern. It is well placed for access to the castle and old bazaar. The staff are charming and helpful. Breakfast is copious and local in style. It is served in the courtyard, on the terrace or indoors as one wishes. There is a chilled cabinet for soft drinks and beer. This is very good value and a great place to stay.

• Ton (9/5): Fantastich traditioneel hotel - Wat een mooi traditioneel ingericht hotel op een ligging met werkelijk prachtig uitzicht op de stad en de bergen. Mooie kamer met veel albanese tinten en ook de rest van het gebouw maakt dat je je echt in Albanie voelt. Mooi balkon op een van de verdiepingen waar je kunt gaan zitten. Uitgebreid ontbijt dat wordt geserveerd. Ruime parkeerplaatsen. Op 5 a 10 minuten van de bazaar De verduistering op de kamer zou ietsje beter kunnen en koffie/thee faciliteiten op de kamer zodat je niet weer helemaal naar beneden het dorp in moet

• Isaak (10/5): Herzliche Gastgeber in charmanter Unterkunft - Ganz liebevolle freundliche Mitarbeiter, leckeres Frühstück und herrlicher Ausblick auf die Stadt. Traditionelles Zimmer, mit ganz feinen Holzarbeiten, sehr gut erhalten. Schön war’s, danke! Bei der Duschwand war die Dichtung undicht, sodass nach wenigen Minuten das Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Wir haben es reklamiert und man hat sich direkt gekümmert.
