- Ken (10/5): Great Stay in a good location with a wonderful service staff! - The Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel was a wonderful hotel located in a great location in Paris. Plenty of shopping and restaurants are close by. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the service/wait staff was incredible. I want to give a big thank you to the ladies that helped me when I checked in. I am embarrass to admit I don't remember their names, but a big shout out to them. Hotel is a little older......and a little long in the tooth, but that being said, the staff made up for any short comings.

They make excellent drinks and are brilliant people. Would return just to drink at the bar if they are there. During breakfast, Rahman & Tess always ensured everything was in order. Ravi’s omelettes are excellent. For what it is, it’s a good hotel. There are more luxurious hotels with superior facilities in Paris, including a few in the Marriott portfolio but for location, cost and service that goes beyond expectations, it’s a solid choice.

- OnAir61544111060 (10/5): ANNIVERSARY IN PARIS - We absolutely LOVED PARIS MARRIOTT OPERA AMBASSADOR HOTEL. First, the LOCATION is prime. We wanted to be in Paris, but not close to the routine tourist attractions. We were able to walk to the mall, cafes, museums, etc. The PRICE is agreeable and well worth it. The EXECUTIVE LOUNGE, RESTAURANT, and BAR are all superb. Our bar drinks were fantastic. The omelette station (chef) is amazing. The team in the Executive Lounge were awesome. The Lounge offers breakfast and dinner so were able to save on our food budget. It was a lovely surprise to sit in the Lounge to enjoy food, wine, beer, dessert and have the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur as our view - such an amazing treat. We never had a bad meal at the hotel; or any place we dined while in Paris. CLEAN ROOMS - housekeeping does an outstanding job. The HOTEL STAFF took great care of us - front desk, concierge, guest relations, maintenance....EVERYONE WAS WONDERFUL. We really did not want to leave such a beautiful place and even more amazing people. PARIS MARRIOTT OPERA AMBASSADOR will definitely see us again! Thanks Team for an amazing stay; and thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one.

Meeting room had views of Eiffel Tower, which a bonus. Very good and supportive organisation. Rooms are lovely. Food in restaurants and the meeting rooms was excellent. Location is brilliant for Galeries LaFayette and Gard du Nord and everything you want to see is an easy comfortable walk. Would highly recommend.

- Passport653595 (10/5): Perfect place to spend a romantic vacation in Paris! - My husband and I spent an incredible three nights in this hotel and did not want to leave. From the incredible room we had (with a view of the Eiffel Tour), to the super friendly and attentive staff this hotel was the highlight of our European vacation. The hotel has been recently renovated and it shows. It’s gorgeous! The M-Club on the top floor is the nicest one I’ve seen at any Marriott. It has incredible views of the city including the Eiffel Tower and the Basilica in Monmarte. We couldn’t believe the spread they put out in the mornings and evenings either. We ended up getting room service one evening as we decided to skip our dinner reservation and walk around instead. The food was great! In fact, the chocolate mouse was so good we had to order it each night we were there. Shout out to Sharon who we saw each night with a smiling face and amazing service! The location is perfect too! Just a short walk to Monmarte along with the museums and fabulous shopping just a few blocks away. This hotel checks every box! Cannot wait to return to Paris and stay here again.

It didn’t stop there. The team in the lounge, the concierge all were fantastic. When you travel a lot it’s nice to know there are people like Ermo who want to make your day that much better. The team took such thoughtful care of us. We were surprised with a room upgrade when we arrived, along with a sweet welcome gift that made us feel immediately at home. The service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. One of the highlights was the concierge lounge, which was exceptional. We found ourselves there every day, whether for breakfast before heading out to explore, an apéro in the evening, or just a quiet place to relax in the afternoon after a full day of shopping and sightseeing. It’s a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, but what really makes it special is the people and the level of care they show their guests. It has become one of my favorite hotels in Paris, and I would happily stay there again.

For those with food allergies, ask for Sewan in the restaurant. Originally from Nepal, Sewan is a lovely server who was extra attentive to my family's dietary needs. Each morning, he greeted us with a smile and food that he had prepared specifically for us. What a mensch!

To top it off my company credit card wasn’t working, which can often be excruciatingly embarrassing but he was so kind, calming and patient while I worked it out with the company. What a relief! The restaurant was also delightful. The night I arrived Michel was working and he was the epitome of French class and service. My steak was perfectly cooked too! They were talking till 1:00 AM and I could not sleep because of that. There was a connecting door, which was of course locked, but just having a door is not a good idea.

Although we arrived a little early, the room was ready for check in and was a good size. Location was very nice, the hotel is in a quieter area, but all attractions are easily accessible on foot or by metro. The hotel’s bar, restaurant, and especially executive lounge had great food and drinks, and were not crowded when we went. Would definitely stay here again.

- weita0m (6/5): Stay Experience Feedback and Suggestions for Improvement - Overall, my stay was fairly average. I had fully prepaid and reserved a suite in advance. After a 14-hour intercontinental flight, I arrived at the hotel early in the morning feeling extremely fatigued. I was hoping for a smooth check-in process or at least a clear arrangement regarding the room. However, I only received my room at 4:00 PM, which was one hour later than the hotel’s stated check-in time of 3:00 PM. During this period, there was no explanation provided for the delay, nor any expression of apology, which was somewhat disappointing. As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I also did not noticeably experience any membership recognition or benefits during this stay, which differed from my experiences at other hotels of a similar category. That said, there were positive aspects worth noting. The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to shopping and transportation. The room facilities are relatively new, and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. Areas for improvement would include the shower water pressure, which was rather weak, and the breakfast quality, which felt below the standard of comparable hotels in the same tier. The executive lounge, however, was pleasant and comfortable overall. In summary, while the stay was acceptable, there is room for improvement, particularly in service attentiveness and elite member recognition.

- Passenger39177556190 (8/5): Methlada is the best manager in Marriott ever! - The hotel facilities are honestly more in line with a three-star property. Compared with other Marriott hotels, this one feels relatively basic — the rooms are small, a bit outdated, and we experienced several issues during our one-week stay, including plumbing problems and various noise disturbances. That said, I want to give five stars to the front desk manager, Methlada. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly helpful and proactive in addressing the many issues we encountered. She assisted us in changing rooms and showed us multiple options so we could choose the most suitable one. Her responsiveness, patience, and problem-solving attitude truly stood out. Among Marriott staff I’ve met, her dedication and professionalism are absolutely top-tier. While the hardware may not live up to expectations, Methlada’s outstanding service made a significant difference in our experience.

The welcome was warm and polished, and every team member made her feel so at home. When an unexpected noise issue outside the hotel’s control arose, leadership kindly met with me in person, listened, and offered a thoughtful solution that truly worked for us. The sense of urgency and care from front desk to restaurant kept our stay spectacular. Thank you for making her first Paris memories so special. We’ll be back!

I’ll know tomorrow morning when I have breakfast if it’s not - Oh my goodness what a shock to come in and see not one person I recognize recognized! I come here quite a lot because I live in CAEN France. Of course I’m from the United States but I live in Caen. We come here a lot. I was just here in January. Everything was fine. I think I stayed two or three days. So we come quite often because this is the first place we stay we love coming to Paris. We’re only a two hour train right away….. but what a disaster! I will tell you about that later we go to the executive room nobody we know is there except the wonderful Valerie shows up!!! She is so dynamic in her responsibility with customers. I can’t tell you we see Valerie every time and there’s another person. His name is. Keshon I think who we did not see and I’m worried that he’s not there anymore anymore.! it’s just a total different atmosphere. They did my room. They messed my room all up the so-called I don’t know manager or supervisor that I talked to about my room did not listen to any of my concerns. I think her name is Donera or something. I don’t know. I kept trying to read her badge but believe me that’s not the same hotel that it has been all these years so we have come the only other person I recognized for the concierge guy, the older man he was the one after it was redone for I don’t know five years when we came one day we said we’d like to see what’s going on. He gave us a wonderful tour said everything‘s been redone And he was really great as well, but everybody else is gone from the ones that come outside to greet you. It’s just shocking and the Customer Service is not there.!!!! not like before where they greet you they recognize you they it’s just don’t come here. It’s not worth it anymore. Go to the Hilton next to the Saint Lazarre Train Station. They’re wonderful !

The staff was consistently warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. If we return to Paris, this hotel will absolutely be our first choice. Access to the Executive Lounge was a wonderful perk — we enjoyed breakfast there each morning and relaxed with evening drinks on several nights. It truly enhanced our experience. The staff is fantastic from the welcoming front desk team, to housekeeping, to the staff in the executive lounge. We especially appreciated the warm hospitality and care from Valerie in the lounge, she really made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

I have planned the trip with my sister for more than 2 months, and we chose Marriott Paris Opera Ambassador Hotel based on location, quality and price. I am completely satisfied with my 2-week stay at the hotel and would like to stay there on my next trip to Paris. Others have provide review about the perfect location, easy for shopping, touring, and dining. My most impression is the high quality of service from staff at Marriott Paris Opera Ambassador Hotel. The front desk representatives provided efficient and welcoming check-in experiences, which gave the first good impression. The cleaning members did a thorough job every time when I requested the service. I have particular standard for cleaning, especially some areas ignored easily, such as areas at the back of a side table. I have noticed that the side table was moved for cleaning. The most thanks I would give to the staff at SIXTINE. They gave me a heart-warming and feel-like-home experiences. The members always provided attentive services with smiling, especially lady Linh and gentleman Sawan at breakfast shift. They let me feel comfortable and welcoming, and offered me extra helps. Each time I had breakfast at SIXTINE, Linh provided me a cup of hot milk, which I usually drink at home. When I met Sawan at breakfast, he always let me know that he could help me. Each morning I felt energized after I had a comfortable, healthy and high quality breakfast at Marriott. Therefore I did not go out for breakfast during my stay at the hotel. At last the only improvement I would like is the temperature of shower water. It is not very easy to have a consistent control of water temperature.

The hotel is extremely family-friendly, and our kids truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The staff was attentive, kind, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Rooms were very well kept and spacious. Great value for the price and room types. The location is perfect—close to metro stations, walkable to many attractions, surrounded by great dining, and just minutes from Galeries Lafayette. Getting to Disneyland Paris was very easy from this location. The executive lounge was a huge plus for our family, offering breakfast, afternoon snacks, juices and sodas for the kids, and a fantastic happy hour with wine, beer, and small bites. The lounge staff was exceptional, especially Kishore, who made us feel like family. We highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay here again on future trips to Paris.

The staff was professional, welcoming, and always attentive. Ermo’s service was outstanding and always willing to help in anyway. The entire front desk stuff was great. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast that we enjoyed on many days. Another benefit is at the hotel is centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere in Paris. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Paris!

No complaints about the room, albeit the paint on the ceiling was flaking. Avoid the restaurant despite the diligent and friendly wait staff. The food is very meh. Breakfast in the club lounge is pretty good. Good selection of wine and light food in the early evening. Solid Marriott lounge experience. Bar was fine though somewhat soulless. Good cocktails and friendly staff. Not luxury per se but a solid offering.

I booked an executive suite for 5days on points. The room was way smaller, looked nothing like the photos. Executive lounge ok - crowded and multiple tables that sat w dirty dishes. Other guests had to ask for the tables be cleared. Would not stay here again.

We love this location due to its proximity and quick walk to central shopping like Galeries LaFayette, Printemps Haussmann, Rue Royal, Place Vendôme and more. Our first shoutout goes to Anastasia, Guest Relations Supervisor, at the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador turned a stressful check in into one of the highlights of the stay and genuinely elevated the overall experience. This was our 2nd time in a year staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, there was a problem with the room booking that left the situation uncertain and disappointing after a long trip to Paris. After speaking with Anastasia, she quickly took ownership of the issue, resolved it efficiently, and reassigned a beautiful, comfortable room that set a much better tone for the visit. Throughout our short 4-night Christmas stay, every interaction with Anastasia was consistently friendly, courteous, and thoroughly professional, which is exactly the kind of service guests hope to find in a four star Paris property. She always greeted the guests warmly, listened carefully to any questions, and made sure everything was handled with calm confidence rather than scripted responses. We are so appreciative. She is a gem and an asset to the front office staff. Our second shoutout goes to Sandrine in the restaurant. She immediately remembered us from our stay last year and was very happy to see us again. Once again, she was on point with customer service, with a morning cheerfulness and willingness to assist us in any way during breakfast. Thank you, Sandrine, 😊. We loved seeing you again. What stood out most was how much Anastasia truly seemed to care about the comfort and enjoyment of our stay in Paris, checking in on how things were going and making sure the room and arrangements remained satisfactory. Her thoughtful approach made the hotel feel more personal and welcoming, and left a strong impression. She gets an A+ for Guest Relations in our book! Thanks to Anastasia, what started as a booking problem became a smooth, memorable stay that felt well looked after from start to finish. And Sandrine, who took great care of us during Breakfast. If the folks at Marriot are reading this review, please make sure that Anastasia and Sandrine are acknowledged for their sincere attitudes. They are both valuable assets to the Marriot brand, and we wish them the best. If you encounter them during your stay, you won’t be disappointed with their level of customer service.
