It never disappoints,from the warm welcome and quick check in to the breakfast buffet where you see staff that are happy in their job and so helpful to guests. - nikkac0ssettes (10/5): Our daughter wants to live here - This hotel gave us another reason to go back to Bangkok! My daughter loved this hotel so much, every time we go outside, she would say “we’re going back to the hotel now!” Pros: *Location! Hotel is directly connected to a mall with a supermarket at the basement , Donki (open 24/7), shops, and restaurants. This is usually a huge plus if you’re traveling with a toddler (in Bangkok’s hot and humid weather)! We saved a lot of time, money (and maybe patience lol) because everything we need is already connected to the hotel and we didn’t need to brave the hot weather outside. *Filtered drinkable water available inside the room! My husband and I love this! Glad this hotel is doing its part in helping reduce waste by providing this inside the room. Cons: *Just the pesky night light which I strongly feel is placed in a terrible position. Its has sadly affected our sleep. Yes, you can turn it off, but when you pull back your arm after turning it off, it senses “movement” again and it will just turn itself right back on. Ugh. Not a complaint or a con but this is more of a suggestion. The hotel doesn’t have a dedicated play area or any facilities for kids (And we know this even before arriving.) In absence of these, I don’t think it will cost a lot if the hotel offers little things for little ones to enjoy: Maybe an activity sheet, a coloring book, a small box of crayon, etc. Little things like these go a loooong way!

I had left an item on the plane and Simon at the Concierge desk was particularly helpful, contacting the airline/lost property for me and once item found arranging collection and delivery to the hotel (we had an early flight so couldn’t collect as the office would not have been open). Thank you Simon, you went over and above what was required to assist and I really appreciated it!

- andyp522 (10/5): Modern, clean and comfortable - The Pathumwan Princess Hotel is a modern, super-clean, spacious hotel with all the city-centre amenities you could wish for. Being so big it had a slightly ‘corporate, large’ feel to it and felt a little impersonal but all the staff were friendly and helpful and the location is good to access all the sights of Bangkok. Our room was big (23rd floor - there was a single sofa bed that we didn’t need but could easily accommodate three people) and had tea/coffee/kettle/fridge/drinking water/etc. There was so much choice for breakfast (it could get busy at peak times with a 5 min wait to get in). For me, Bangkok was a little overwhelming - glad I did it but wouldn’t rush back: however if I did, I’d stop at this hotel again.

Arriving from Suvarnabhumi Airport, it’s a straightforward journey to the hotel and doesn’t take too long at all. It’s an amazing hotel with stunning design and great rooms. The staff were very polite and friendly throughout our stay. The outdoor pool on the 8th floor is fantastic, with plenty of sun loungers, ample shade, and a convenient bar. The breakfast, described as an American breakfast, was excellent — a buffet with everything you could think of, from Thai red curry to fresh fruit and everything in between. The MBK Centre is incredibly convenient, with loads of restaurants and a food hall if you prefer something quick and casual. It’s also useful if you’ve forgotten to pack anything. Other shopping areas are just a few minutes away from the hotel. We had a great stay and were able to relax by the pool with a beer when not out sightseeing. Highly recommended.

The top rooms provide a butler service which is amazing and all the butlers 𝐍𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚,𝐌𝐨𝐝,𝐌𝐡𝐨𝐦, 𝐍𝐚𝐧, 𝐓𝐞𝐞 and DaDa were very helpful and professional. The what’s app service is excellent and the speed of providing the requests is great. The Suite with the terrace was a great experience and we really enjoyed the outdoors bath which was a Jacuzzi as well. The house keeper Nanta was exceptional and ensured we had everything we had requested. Nanta attention to detail was very much appreciated. We will most certainly recommend the Pathumwan princess hotel to everyone going to Bangkok! 🙌🏻🙏🏻☀️

We received a very warm welcome, starting from our airport pick up to entering our suite. The manager and several staff showed us to our room and there we were surprised with a very nice decoration to wish us a happy 50th anniversary. We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this hotel, breakfast was plentyful as always, with plenty of choice and the food offerings in the lounge were superb. We are already planning our next vacation at this hotel.

- 1AKM (10/5): Another great experience at this fantastic hotel. - Another amazing experience at this fantastic hotel. A brilliantly well located hotel, connected to the MBK shopping mall and very very close to the Siam Discovery Centre, Siam Paragon, Central Word, the Erawan Shrine, Lumpini Park and very many other brilliant areas of Bangkok to discover. The hotel is just a short walk, through the MBK shopping Mall to the BTS Skytrain National Stadium which provides you with transport to many areas within the very large Bangkok city. The BTS also connects to the MRT. This year we also used the Grab and Bolt taxi apps which we found great and a lot cheaper than street taxis or tuk tuks (although if you've not been to Bangkok before, going in a tuk tuk is a must). The hotel is exceptionally well managed by the General Manager (Mario) who chats with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their time at the hotel, whilst at the same time overseeing the daily workings of it. He does a super job and is very approachable. A big SHOUT OUT must go to AKE on the Concierge desk and the concierge team who were absolutely brilliant in dealing with a case that KLM Airlines lost, even though we had left Bangkok, Ake continued to be tenacious, chase KLM up and got the case returned to the Pathumwan Princess Hotel in readiness for our return a few weeks later. Thank you so much Ake. You are an absolute star. The hotel rooms are light, bright, clean, a good size, elegant and clean. The recently refurbished hotel club lounge is a brilliant area to chill out, relax, enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea or happy hour pre dinner drinks and nibbles in the evening. The lounge staff are really lovely, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I must give credit to Big, Tofun, Rose, Petch, Mod, Nadia and the rest of the Club Lounge team, including the chefs for providing an absolute brilliant service. We are really looking forward to returning in the future.

The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and well maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was very enjoyable. The swimming pool is big and not overcrowded, which made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The location is excellent — right in the center of Bangkok with direct access to the MBK Center shopping mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

We elected to stay in one of the rooftop terrace suites and the room was everything we wanted and more. The room decor was chic with an upscale feel. We loved the terrace and private jacuzzi. The butler service was a nice touch with attentive and very responsive staff. Our housekeeper Nanta was so friendly and helpfully and made our stay even more lovely. We tried it the pool and spa, both of which were also enjoyable. It is also attached to MBK shopping center for convenience. There are many shops and restaurants to explore. We only spent a few days in Bangkok so didn't do many things outside of the property and still had a great time. If you're considering this place, book it!! You won't be disappointed.

Rooms are good and well-insulated from outside noise. Breakfast is very good - choices are changed daily and has a mix of Western and Thai food. Room service food is also good. Love the location of this hotel - very near malls, easy to get to via different modes of transportation & safe area. Service of all staff is commendable. Issues: 1. Weak wi-fi in the lobby. 2. - berndz80 (8/5): Excellent stay - We have stayed at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel multiple times, and this visit was no exception. We even recommended the hotel to our friends, who stayed together with us on this trip. We booked two One-Bedroom Premier Suites; the rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. However, during this stay, we encountered an issue with the night light, which could not be switched off and kept turning on automatically whenever there was movement in the room. This caused a sleepless night on the first day. We reported the issue to the front desk, and it was resolved by covering the night light with black tape. The hotel’s location is excellent, situated at MBK Center and close to the National Stadium BTS station, making it very convenient for us to get around. We also had access to the lounge, where daily refreshments were available. The facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, are very good; however, the gym restroom was undergoing minor renovation during our stay.

We reserved executive family suite with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, very spacious for big family! Our butler Nadia was so great! She smiles and greets us warmly. She was part of the highlight of our stay due to her dedication to her work. We would stay here again just because of her. Everyone at the club lounge was great, always smiling with an amazing customer service . Our cleaning lady, Ms Bow, was also super sweet. Our room is so clean, the best so far even better than many 5 stars hotel in the United States. She was very detailed in her presentation of the room and keeps it neat for us . The concierge service was also amazing - always give us directions and make sure we are safe and sound. This was an amazing family trip , wouldn’t stay anywhere else !

He was incredibly patient, friendly, and amazing with my children. His kindness set the tone for our stay. Ms. Bow from housekeeping always took great care of our room. She was attentive, thoughtful, and consistently welcoming. Mr. Ken from concierge was truly exceptional. He was extremely accommodating, helpful, and supportive throughout our trip. We deeply appreciated his assistance and genuine care. Mr. Big from the Club Lounge was also very kind to my children. He was gentle with them and always helpful, which made them feel happy and comfortable. - chiamhy2023 (6/5): Grand Suite - My family and I have been staying with Pathumwan Princess since 2009 and have always enjoyed our stay there. However, this year, in one of the rooms, it was not so. One of the rooms we stayed in, the bathroom door was hard to close, the TV remote was not working and on the last night, upon arriving back to the room after dinner, there was the smell of smoke and water with darkish stuff at the entrance of the toilet. We were glad that maintenance came quickly. Still we could not get back out to enjoy the last night because of this. Since last year, we've enjoyed the 2 bedroom Grand Suite when it was still new but this year, it is sadly lacking. When we checked out on the morning of 18 Nov 2025, the lady at the front desk asked how was our stay? I said not good and she went back to typing. Also, no priority check out? As for the butler service, it was top notch and we greatly appreciate it.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed - except for a total lack of drawer space! We initially stayed 3 nights. It was frustrating to have to leave clothes in our suitcase because there was nowhere to store them. Nice pool and gym.

- Jellyfish1967 (8/5): On the whole great - We have just stayed for a week at the Pathumwan Princess and here are our opinions regarding the hotel and surrounding area: Positives: Beautiful, well maintained hotel. Rooms very modern and tastefully decorated. Fantastic pool area which does not get overcrowded. Free use of pool towels Staff exceptionally polite and helpful. Central location with easy access for Grab taxis (recommended) and 10 minutes walk to the National stadium BTS. Adjacent to the large MBK shopping centre which is great for food, shopping and spas. I had a massage at the Grand spa which was brilliant (approximately £43 for a 90 minute Thai/aromatic oil massage) Breakfast opening hours great 06.30am until 10.30am. Breakfast choice generally good (could have had more choices of the beautiful fruits from Thailand). Check out 12.00 Negatives: We had to request a room change upon arrival as it was not the room we had booked. Whilst the central location had it's advantages it also had a significant disadvantage; trying to get around by taxi or tuk tuk at peak hours was a nightmare owing to the sheer volume of traffic. You are constantly stuck in very slow moving traffic. Expect to double your journey time if travelling peak morning or teatime. Prices of drinks around the pool are outrageous...a can of beer and a can of coke ( not even in a glass)£9.00!!

- kodySydney (10/5): Amazing - Wow, I know why I keep coming back to this wonderful hotel is the exceptional service. Its honestly 6 star they cant do enough for you. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was so spacious. The bathroom was gorgeous with a seperate large tub. The executive lounge is located at the moment on the 8th level which I think is ideal as its next to the pool. So when I would leave the pool I could go in an have a drink. Breakfast is amazing. I will be back in March.
- RPHUNG (10/5): Stay at Pathumwan Princess Hotel - We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Corner King Room at Pathumwan Princess Hotel and our experience was extremely positive. The check-in process was efficient and the room was spacious, contemporary and clean. The location of the hotel is very central and it is conveniently connected to the MBK Center, a large shopping mall that has over 2,000 stores across eight floors. We also had a buffet breakfast during our stay and were particularly impressed by the variety of the options available. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. A special mention to Louis (Hotel Receptionist) who was very helpful indeed and ensured our check-in process went smoothly.

Bathroom and bedroom was very comfortable. We were given many pillows and even bolsters. Although the executive lounge was under renovation, the temporary place was decent and service was superb. Food and drinks were acceptable. Looking forward to much better ambience in the new lounge. Breakfast dishes at CitiBistro was excellent.

The new space offers a beautiful view overlooking the pool, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight, as always, is the amazing service. Big, Rose, Torfun, and Gwang continue to provide exceptional care, they’re warm, attentive, and truly make every visit feel special. It’s great to see that even with the temporary move, the team maintains the same high standards and friendly service that keep me coming back.

- josella1016 (10/5): Consistently an excellent hotel - I always stay here when I am in Bangkok. Service remains to be excellent; staff are very friendly and efficient. Morning buffet spread is good and has a lot of options. Very accessible -- near the train station and connected to MBK Center. Other malls such as Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon can also be walking distance from the hotel (assuming fit/healthy). Price is relatively less expensive than other similarly-tiered hotels. They have very good spa, too. Get the Thai traditional massage. (I've tried the other massages, SWedish and foot. But the best one is their Thai massage.) Gym is also nice and comfortable and spacious. Will stay here again next time I am in Bangkok.

- deedeethenomad (10/5): This is my favourite place to stay in Bangkok - I’ve stay at this hotel for years now. It’s my favourite hotel in Bangkok. The rooms have been refurbished again. So it always looks new. From the lobby they are celebrating 29 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We met the hotel manager this time he was so friendly. We had issues with the aircon first night. They changed our room promptly and were so apologetic. My friend celebrated his birthday and they arranged a small cake for him. Breakfast is excellent with great choice of western and eastern flavour. The pool and gym is outdoors and have great views. MBK is next door so shopping and dining is so easy. Always recommend a stay here.
- JamesB873 (10/5): The Princess has Levelled Up - I have been staying at the Pathumwan princess 11 times and this time was exemplary. The service truly has levelled up, and has gone back to the 5 start quality we used to get pre Covid. The staff are efficient and everywhere, the bell boys, doormen, and concierge are a great team that provide top level service. Rooms are excellently designed, and immaculately clean, we stayed in a suite and the space was great, and had a marvellous bathroom, and very comfy beds, with a great view of the city. In previous years it had felt management had been trying to cut costs, but not this year, staffing levels were great. The hotels location is perfect and what keeps us coming back, close to MRT and attached to MBK mall as well as a short walk to then Siam malls. The hotels club lounge is great, I recommend booking a room with this, as they are very welcoming and offer lovely food , drinks and snacks
- TruePreView (10/5): Stylish Hotel with Excellent Breakfast and Location - We stayed at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel in Bangkok from 22nd February for 3 nights, and it was by far the best hotel of our entire trip to Thailand. The hotel feels very fancy and stylish, with great attention to detail throughout. The breakfast was a real highlight – the selection was incredible, with something to suit every taste. It really set us up for the day. The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is directly connected to a large shopping centre full of shops, souvenirs, and restaurants, which made everything so convenient. It was also a great base for exploring the city. We also really enjoyed the clean and well-maintained pool area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we were very impressed with the standard of this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
- Hwee Ching (10/5): - Right on top of the shopping mall MBK and walkable distance to Siam area. Alot of eateries nearby and services of the bell boys are excellent. Stayed in room 1717 but felt that the condition of the shower head can be improved. The shower head looks blackish with mould which makes me feel uneasy to wash up and luckily there is a rain shower hence we only use the rain shower for bathing.

- Amanda (10/5): - Room was extremely clean and newly renovated. Location of the hotel was also extremely good with a direct connection to MBK center. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and very clean, love the tap dispenser provided for drinking water. Electrical outlets also have USB and USB-C outlets with thoughtfully placed light switches. MBK center has a large variety of shops and restaurants at every price point. There’s also multiple malls and shopping areas with walking distance and a BTS train station connected to the mall. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Bangkok!
