Rarely have we experienced staff so hospitable, warm and helpful as the entire team at Sonesta. The friendly and professional spirit shone through. From the welcome and support by the concierge (Mr Michael and Mr Shaaban) and reception team (Ms Sylvia and Mr Michael); to the care by guest relations (Ms Maha) and housekeeping who meticulously looked after our room; to the charming room service team; everyone manifested a genuine service culture. We started each day at the Greenhouse Restaurant to a delightful breakfast and excellent service. Mr Hussein along with Marcelino, Fady Rosaline, waiter Ayman and many others all looked after us and kept the tea and coffee flowing 😊👍 We had fluffy omelettes by chefs Ihab, Andrew, Ahmad and others. The food was always plentiful and delicious. Clearly F&B management (including Mr Ayman and several others) are fostering a hospitable workplace culture. (Btw take any negative comments below with a grain of salt. Haters gonna hate as Taylor Swift taught us :) We spent ten days there and it felt like a home away from home 🌸💕 We strongly recommend this hotel!

Karin Adriana (10/5): Muy Recomendable - El personal fue siempre muy amable. Albert fue siempre muy gentil en el desayuno de EL PATIO. El desayuno es variado y completo. Tiene varias opciones de restaurantes. Comimosuy bien el el restaurante Libanés. La habitación que nos tocó en la torre nueva, era muy espaciosa, lo mismo que el baño. Todo muy limpio. No es del todo nueva, pero muy confotable. Buena ducha, lindas toallas, buena cama y lindas sábanas. Todo muy bien. La pasamos lindo.

Pranav Kadam (10/5): Luxurious stay with great hospitality, their staff is amazing! - In one word - everything! This hotel is conveniently located between Cairo city & the international airport, that makes it ideal to explore around. Upon arrival, we were given an upgrade to their Premium room that was chic, luxurious & ultra comfortable. The hotel had all the facilities that one could imagine in a 5* property - We used the bank, gym, spa, pool & a number of restaurants on the premises which increased the convenience factor. The breakfast was good, the service overall was top notch and the comfort was much higher than expected. The concierge arranged us a day tour and airport shuttles. The guest relations ensured our stay was comfortable and checked in with us every day. Thanks to their guest relation executives, Maria & Habiba and their concierge and other staff who went an extra mile that made our stay extra special. I would definitely like to come back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Cairo for leisure or business. The only improvement I would suggest is the Wifi connection - its sometimes weak in some parts of the hotel. It wasn't a big issue for us though.
