El aroma del hotel divino. El servicio con el equipaje fue justo y necesario dado que éramos 4 personas y contábamos con 7 maletas. Todo fue excelente.

- Dr. M.G. (6/5): Gute Lage - Die Lage des Hotels Lobby sehr hübsch. Kleiner Selbstbedienungsladen mit wichtigen Utensilien 7/24. Eierspeisen zum Frühstück wurden frisch zubereitet. Zimmerservice sehr schlecht. Von 4 Nächten, wurde das Zimmer 1x gar nicht gemacht. An zwei Tagen war das Bad ohne Handtücher, und die Betten unzureichend neu gemacht. Nachtwäsche lag auf dem Schreibtisch, Kissen auf dem Fußboden. Zimmer sehr klein. Schreibtischstuhl nicht nutzbar, zu nah am Bett. Zwischen einigen Suiten ist ein Lagerraum. Deswegen angrenzende Suiten kleiner. Keine Haken für Jacken/Mäntel im Eingangsbereich des Zimmers. Bad keine ebenerdige Dusche. Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein.

I had to put my lingerie inside the safe. No space to move around the room. An annoying episode was that when we came back to our room at 7.30 pm, after an exhausting day, we discovered our room hadn't been cleaned. Had to wait for over an hour and lost our dinner reservation.

Anche se pur avendo pagato oltre 900€ il giorno della partenza li ho visti preoccupati (sentendo anche i commenti) al vederci riposare un attimo fra il ritiro del bagaglio e la partenza verso la stazione. Purtroppo noi italiani godiamo di pessima fama nel mondo anche quando spendiamo parecchio. La ventilazione meccanica e l’impossibilità di aprire la finestra e di regolare il riscaldamento.

Room was spacious but poorly planned. Two televisions in the same room which was fine but when I used the remote for one TV the other TV also changed the channel which was silly. No place to sit except the bed.

It’s also very practical if you’re arriving from the airport. The breakfast was average for my taste; in other European cities, hotels usually offer a wider variety of dishes. The staff seemed more professional than genuinely friendly. There is also a small bakery with coffee inside the hotel, called Janine—it’s really lovely. There is a rooftop as well; we didn’t go, but it’s a great option if someone wants to go out and have a good time without leaving the hotel. The hotel is designed in such a way that the windows in the rooms cannot be opened at all—they are completely sealed. There is no fresh air whatsoever; everything operates through ventilation. This is noticeable both in the rooms and in the hotel corridors. The hotel is very large, and finding our room was quite complicated.

Une ou deux fois l’équipe du petit déjeuner était débordé et il a été difficile d’avoir une table propre et réinstallée. Et deux fois pas de fromages ni de fruits(bananes,clémentines)et viennoiseries manquantes. Le choix doit être équivalent pour tous pendant cette période.

- Domingos (7/5): - A minha estadia neste hotel foi, no geral, bastante positiva. O hotel é muito confortável, os quartos são bonitos, limpos e bem cuidados. Destaco também a simpatia do pessoal da receção, sempre disponível e atencioso. A localização é excelente, facilitando o acesso a vários pontos de interesse. No entanto, tive um episódio muito negativo no dia 14 de manhã, à entrada do restaurante para o pequeno-almoço. Ao indicar o número do quarto, o funcionário informou que a nossa reserva não incluía pequeno-almoço. Quando pedi que verificasse, sugerindo que poderia haver um engano, fui tratado de forma inadequada e até convidado a sair da frente para dar passagem a outros hóspedes. Dirigi-me à receção, onde a rececionista, de forma muito profissional e simpática, confirmou imediatamente que o pequeno-almoço estava incluído e tratou da situação junto do restaurante. Apesar da rápida resolução por parte da receção, este foi um momento bastante constrangedor, causado por uma atitude pouco profissional e pouco colaborativa do funcionário do restaurante. A minha avaliação menos positiva deve-se essencialmente a este episódio, que certamente terei em consideração em futuras estadias.

- simonnike (8/5): Great location and modern hotel - This was my guest stay at the Renaissance. Location was great. So many tasty restaurants and actual coffee places just across the canal on Haalremerstraat. And short walk to the Jordan. Central station is close and Westerpark (great park for a run) is a shortish jog away. The room was good sized and bed was comfortable. The desk is long but narrow if you’re working. There is q great table in the lobby for a perfect work setup. The bathroom is also a nice size. And love the full size toiletries. The bathroom looks modern and recently updated. And I love no carpet in the room. The team at the door was always welcoming and the desk team was friendly and helpful. I didn’t dine at the restaurant but the pizza sounded delicious. The gym while kind of hard to find is very big and full of equipment. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again on my next visit.

- 973jen (8/5): Nice hotel, good location - A big hotel located close to the train station. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms are lovely. Room has limited tea/coffee making facilities and it can get noisy due to the rooftop bar. A lovely stay all in all.
