- Cherie (10/5): Wonderful base to explore Singapore - I was so pleasantly suprised by this hotel. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Keith from concierge services recommended a wonderful massage therapy place nearby and he even brought me some throat lozenges as I wasn't feeling well. The room was really large, with wonderful views and a very comfy bed. The outdoor pool was lovely. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Highly recommend this hotel as a convenient base to explore Singapore. The pool area could use a few more sun loungers.

They located the bag, connected with my Grab driver (that I booked) and delivered the bag to the airport really, really quickly. It was a life saver. Thanks Keith also for helping with the storage baggage. Not much. When I went to check in, I was asked to wait for 30 minutes. It was already 3 pm and most of the day had gone. I politely refused and the check in staff helpfully found me another room and for a prompt check in.

Standard hotel gym, which is sufficient for a quick workout and a decent pool. There are plenty of cheap eateries next and across the road from the hotel. There was a very annoying night light on the ceiling in the room, which was very bright, … but it could be disconnected

The staff team was extremely professional, warm and welcoming throughout our visit. Would highly recommend other to stay. Our only critique is regarding the breakfast buffet at Element Restaurant. The service staff struggled with questions about gluten-free options and lacked knowledge about allergens. With a bit more staff training on dietary requirements, this hotel would be absolutely flawless!

We had some confusion with staff about whether our breakfast was included, and when we rang reception to say we had a twin room but would prefer a double, no alternative was offered.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even upgraded our room as we were travelling for our honeymoon which was such an unexpected and wonderful addition. The hotel feels newly renovated with modern interiors, fantastic amenities including two gyms, a great breakfast, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Loved the Japanese-style toilets too. The location was perfect — walking distance to great coffee shops, hawker markets and shops, while still feeling calm. Special mention to Idil from the concierge/bell team who was especially warm and welcoming throughout our stay! Nothing to fault - overall a fantastic stay.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind riesig und klassisch-schick ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ließ sich individuell regeln.

There is also a water filter in the room which was bonus to fill up our own water bottles. Breakfast choice was also good and included in our stay. We wish the floor was cleaned during our stay and more loungers by the pool would be appreciated! But no big deal.

Emplacement incroyable et hôtel digne de ce nom - Allez y +++ la piscine est génial vraiment avec une vue superbe et une salle de sport excellente rien à redire la dessus. Notre chambre était top vraiment avec beaucoup d’espace un lit confortable, silencieuse et super salle de bain. Petit déjeuner vraiment très bon avec des horaires larges pour y aller (ce qui est rare) et copieux Si je devais redire quelque chose je parlerai juste de la somme de 135€ pour avoir notre chambre avant 15h, comme nous sommes arrivé à 9h on a dû payer cette option. Et la douche était bouché +++ après 2 appels le nécessaire a été fait et franchement top.

- Josie (7/5): Nice hotel in the heart of Singapore but not quite as luxurious as hoped - Great location, nice lobby area and friendly staff. Good selection at breakfast. The bathroom set up was a bit odd with the shower / toilet separate and the sink in the room. Room was very large but poorly set up for storage - no space to fold and put away clothes so we were living out of the suitcase. No full length mirror & not enough loungers by the pool.

The gym, pool area and adjoining toilets are in ABYSMAL condition - they're dirty, equipment is decades old & the place just looks abandoned. Also, you're met with a bar as soon as you walk in instead of a check-in desk, which is really confusing - you need to go hunting for the hidden desks as there is no signage. Every table in the lobby is constantly "reserved" too, which gives off a negative vibe.

Location is perfect, u have near lots of shops and cafes, very convenient. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choices for adults and children. Helpful staff. The room was for 2 adults and 1 child, but there were always 2 sets of towels. Consider the child as well, for not asking to have third set. There was no space to put all you clothes, some wardrobe is missing.

The same pans used for cooking meat were also used for omelettes, which caused cross-contamination concerns. I spoke to a member of staff to ask if a separate vegetarian omelette option could be prepared, but I was simply told ‘sorry’ without any attempt to help. I also followed up with an email and received no response. Unfortunately, this let down an otherwise pleasant stay.

Bed was very comfy, and staff were very attentive. Good location to China Town and Maxwells food market. We were looked after very well, and would definitely recommend this hotel. We initially had issues around cleanliness of our room. We were quickly moved to another room, and hotel upgraded us to the club lounge access, along with a meal in the restaurant. They were very embarrassed, and they couldn't do enough not say sorry.
