- Pattiwig (6/5): Basic but close to transportation - This hotel was ok. Very close to central station and metros which was great. It's one of the new style of hotels with minimalist interior. It did fit our needs but it is basic. We were in for Olymics so were only in the room to sleep and shower.

The first time I took a shower and the shower drain was semi clogged, and there wasn’t a high enough rim around the edges, so the water poured out and flooded the whole bathroom. Asked for the room to be changed, and I got a different room with the same problem. At this point I gave up and I just turned the water on for a few min at a time and waited for the water to slowly drain. Super annoying Other than this, location was great and the room was modern and clean.

There are a lot of nearby restaurants and bars, and was safe and walkable at night. The rooms are spacious with tinted glass, making it great during the summer. The included breakfast is also filling - a great selection! I highly recommend the hotel, and would definitely book here again!
- ANDREW (10/5): Exceptional Stay Near the Heart of Milan - I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was super clean and modern, equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the abundance of USB ports, electric sockets, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and efficient air conditioning. Daily housekeeping was excellent—fresh towels, shower gel, and soap were consistently provided. They even let me borrow a clothes steamer to de-wrinkle my shirts, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was ideal—just steps from the main train station and metro, making it incredibly easy to access Milan’s key sights and plan day trips to other parts of Italy. The area had plenty of fast food outlets, restaurants, and shops nearby, which added to the convenience. The reception team truly stood out. Every single staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and consistently acknowledged me with a smile as I entered or left the hotel. Their warmth created a genuinely pleasant atmosphere and made me feel appreciated throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, connectivity, and great service in Milan.
- Caroline (10/5): A conveniently located hotel. A nice stay! - This was our 2nd stay at Smart Hotel Milano. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Although not large, the room was well laid out. The hotel staff was fabulous. Our only complaint was that the shower leaked a bit.
- nicole_0608 (6/5): Great location - The good: staff were lovely and very friendly. Brilliant location just across from Milano Centrale which is perfect when you have a 6am train to catch. Lots of public transport options close by and heaps of great restaurants. Room was very clean and modern. The bad: the bed was *very* soft and the pillows were also super soft. Neither did my back or neck any favours. We couldn’t change the room temperature so it was always too hot. The bathroom door was hung on an angle/warped so it barely shut and scraped loudly along the floor when you closed it.

Nothing offered for the inconvenience. The hotel that I was moved too, looked like a dungeon. The layout was horrible and scary because all the lights were off. Sensor light but scary. Don’t book your stay at any of these 2 hotels in Milan. My saving grace that I only stayed for 2 nights.

- CristinaL417 (8/5): Comfortable hotel near Milano Centrale - We stayed 4 nights at this lovely boutique hotel 5 minutes walk from the Milano Centrale train station. The beds and pillows are comfortable (I just wish we were given more pillows). The first night we had an issue with the air conditioning being set too high but the staff fixed it the next day. The breakfast bar had a wide variety of cooked and cold proteins and pastries. Selena at the front desk was very personable and kind. We felt very welcomed and will definitely stay here again!

For some unknown reason, the cleaner threw away an important bag and no one took responsibility for it. A basic, minus hotel with terrible customer service. In addition, the environment feels very dangerous and unsafe.
- Sandhya (10/5): - Stayed one night with family (myself, wife and 2 year old daughter). Can’t fault the location, metro just next to it. Service was brilliant with very helpful staff, allowed me to check in early as I had arrived early so staff at the check in asked for our room to be ready first so that we could check in which was a big help for us. Room was decent size, good amenities, however breakfast wasn’t upto the standard expected as the rest but still it wasn’t that bad. Will defenitely recommend the place, the price, location and hotel is clean and very friendly and helpful staff.

The motion-detect light would automatically switch off after 2 minutes, and we constantly needed to move out of the shower area to reactivate the light. The bad design of the shower also means that water would come out of the shower and flood the bathroom towards the door. It is evident that the door is swollen due to regular soaking. The room is also not completely soundproof. We can hear the noise of the chair moving in the adjacent rooms.

The rooms are clean and updated, although the walls in the room had taken some abuse. The housekeeping was quick and thorough. The room itself was a bit noisy as people moving in the rooms above and beside could be heard as well as closing of doors at all hours. Some type of alarm also went off 2 pit of the three nights we were there.

There are many hotels near the Milano Centrale and we would not recommend this one.

- Chun Yong (10/5): - It's an amazing 5 nights stay. Both rooms are clean. Location is excellent. Near to train station and both our day trip pick up point.
- Zohair (4/5): Unpleasant Surprises - It was annoying not to find slippers and you have to go down to get it from the reception. Also, they advertise that the breakfast is 15 Euros on the website, but when you go there they tell you that only if you buy it with reservation but when you go down it's 20 Euros, and there is no sign to tell you so. You realise it the hard way when you checkout.!

- ROBBIE (8/5): A decent hotel in a good location. - Very friendly staff and amazing location, right near the train station and metro. Bed was comfy and bathroom clean and modern, but the room was small and dark since the windows were tinted. Unfortunately no smart tv meant that all channels were in Italian. 4/5.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth it - We stayed here for two nights. The room temperature couldn't be adjusted beyond 22°C, and we had to request an increase twice the next day because it felt too cold. We were in room 112, and unfortunately, water leaked into the room, making the shoe bags in the corridor wet. Additionally, we were approached by a drunk man around 7:30 PM near the hotel and had to shout to people to help us and call to police. Given these experiences, I would not recommend staying here, especially for females.

- Hector (8/5): Family vacation. - Good overall. Small room but we were able to move the smaller bed and place it next to the main one. That allowed us to place our luggage in that area. Modern and clean are definitely the two main attributes. Lastly, if you’re looking for something close to the Milan Central station, this is it.

- StuartD825 (6/5): Great spot ! - This was a perfect location for where i was working, and also great for the railway station. also a short walk to plenty of good restaurants/bars. staff were fine, bed was good, and clean throughout as well. No complaints here but breakfast was closed when i was there
