- Charles Baudot (10/5): Authentic experience in the heart of Singapore - Located in the city centre, yet in a calm area. The hotel is magnificent. It is an old heritage of British colonial style buildings. Among other staff members, a young gentleman called Hasan, at the front desk, is charming, efficient and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is also of very high quality.

The air conditioners are somehow noisy, it would be also good to consider as the noise was irritated typically during the night time. Great Breakfast!

Location nice if you can / want use busses (Far East Plaza stop), also reasonably clisw to Orchard MRT (Exit 1). Two pools that were not crowded. Possibility for pool service andxswveral restaurants on site. I appreciated we had a laundry machine in our apt, one of main reasons to book this option.Room was properly cleaned daily. The Parklane wing and the pools are a bit outdated, they would need a little facelift. Balcony views in our apt were quite dull.

- Yuko (9/5): 憧れのホテルに宿泊できて最高でした - 清潔感があり、スタッフも笑顔で対応してくれて気持ちが良いです。 早朝5時のチェックアウト時に、Hasanというフロントスタッフが、パスポート、サイフ、金庫に忘れ物はないか、シンガポールには次にいつ来るのか？などと、笑顔で丁寧に対応してくれました。タクシーを呼んで、タクシーに乗ってからも手を振って見送ってくれて最後まで楽しく過ごせました。 トイレのタンクが故障したのですが、すぐにスタッフが来てくれたので、悪いほどでもないです。 冷蔵庫の冷えが弱かったのですが、氷を頼んだらシャンパンを冷やすバケツにたっぷりの氷を持ってきてくれたので、これも問題ないかと。ただ、1日で2バケツ目からは7ドルかかります。

We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; every meal was exquisite, high-quality, and beautifully presented. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the stellar hospitality. Every single staff member—from the welcoming doormen to the proactive concierge and the attentive restaurant team—treated us with such genuine warmth. A massive, heartfelt thank you to Jimmy, Syafiq, and Jit. They went above and beyond by noticing it was my birthday; they surprised me with a delicious cake, a candle, and even sang Happy Birthday! It was such a touching, personal gesture that turned my day around. I cannot recommend Goodwood Park Hotel highly enough. If you’re looking for world-class service and a beautiful stay, look no further!

Joshua was very helpful in listening and recommending dishes accordingly to my requests. Sok Yi,always so nice to accomodate our requests too. Rita,our waitress,was very pleasant,always smiling and ready to serve. Nice to have the 25% discount and birthday voucher to use. We'll be back!

Das war sehr angenehm und praktisch! Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet! Der Service ist sehr angenehm und freundlich. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, man ist in ca 5 bis 10 Minuten an der MRT Station Orchard Street.

Excellent service from Ms. Karen Han who was very patient and provided great service with always a bright smile. Nothing fazed her. She made our meal very enjoyable. - nickmO5911EA (10/5): Perfectly situated and an amazing stay. - We arrived from the UK fairly early in the day and they let us check in right away which was amazing. Also didn't have a credit card so they made arrangements to accept our debit card. Helped by staff Ziyi, Faisal and Jimmy they were really friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely very clean and large. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. We recommend the cakes from their cake shop also. The hotel is situated really close to some great shopping and the subway so easy to get around Singapore from there. Overall we recommend this a great place to stay. Thank you Goodwood :)

- ILSA (9/5): Overall, a wonderful stay and we would come again - but no shower-in-bath please! - The old world style and ambience, the pools, and fine dining, as well as good full breakfast and a comfortable pool-view sitting lounge off the reception lobby.. The staff are also a big plus, old time charm & courtesy, very friendly, sometimes funny, always efficient - Manager Mala, Suresh Rajan & Betty Oh at breakfast coffeeshop and rooms, Jason Yang, Krishnan & Jennifer Garcia at Gordon Grill/Highland Bar, Concierge Brian at Reception, and so many others. We thought attention to design detail was lacking in the room (175), particularly with regard to older people like us (I am 80). We need chairs to sit on not backless sofas, and 2 for 2 people! The shower-in-bath was a scary torture for me - very difficult to get out of, especially because of first the depth from floor into bath, and then the protruding metal ridge for sliding the shower screen, which made the step-out quite frightening, for fear I could slip onto the metal with one leg in the bath and one leg trying to touch the floor outside. I had to have my husband help me out every time I showered. I would not book any room with shower-inbath again as it is not safe at my age. I need a flat stable floor in a modern shower cubicle. The showers at the main pool off the lobby were not working at the time we stayed The housekeepers misunderstood our greetings when we passed them and so failed to make up our bedroom several times even though we had left the correct sign on the door, which was annoying - I guess they did not speak English, but that too can be annoying! Because of heavy rain daily, we found the uphill walk back into the hotel from Orchard/Scotts Rd too difficut sometimes - when I took the low half-steps with yellow lines on the far right, walking up towards the old main entrance with the vintage cars display, I found the drainage poor and stepped off right into a pool of ankle-deep water at the top of the stairs! I was then faced with the choice of a longer walk round to the modern front entrance and get soaked, or two flights of quite steep stairs up into the hotel from the old tower entrance which were tough to get up for me. If there was some means of buggy transport from the base of the hill to the main entrance during bad weather, that would help so much.

- Susan (9/5): Old world charm in a quiet spot near Orchard, with two pools and a fabulous buffet breakfast and a customer orientation - It was the size of the pool and number of loungers that attracted me initially. The room we originally booked didn’t meet our expectations but a quick word at reception and they immediately solved our concerns and moved us to a new room without any grumbles - bravo Thomas at reception. Breakfast buffet offered a great choice for all tastebuds. Linens (bed bath and pool) were beautiful. Great location for shopping on Orchard Road. As the second oldest hotel in Singapore, it’s not all glossy and new - more old school 5 star in its offering. Bit far from Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar eateries.

- Cruiser23631972121 (10/5): An exceptional experience at the Goodwood Park! - From the moment we arrived at the GWPH, Jimmy Lee and Chris Ng demonstrated outstanding support, beginning with quickly solving a room matter. They were very attentive to us during our stay which was 5 weeks. When we departed, we felt that we had acquired a new family because we were made to feel so welcome with the hospitality and service all the staff provided. The GWPH team exemplified exactly how we wanted to be treated. From the front desk including Thomas Wong, Amanda, Alecssandra, Kim Jeong, Bryan Sim and others we were always greeted with a smile, hello and asked what they could do for us. In addition, Faisal and Parthian provided great help to access the amenities of the property and were always ready to assist us as well. And when it came to food , drink and other services Betty Ho and Suresh Rajan were outstanding, including organizing a surprise birthday cake and celebration for my wife and providing us with a constant supply of fresh fruit in our room. Jason Yang was helpful too. Liao Xian, our room attendant, kept our suite spotless and well stocked. So we departed the GWPH knowing that we’ll be back our next time in Singapore and be able to look forward to feeling so welcomed and supported by the GWPH family.

We are here celebrating joint 60th Birthday celebrations and were welcomed so warmly with flowers, fruit and cake which was such a lovely surprise and very kind. The hotel is in a very central location which makes travel very easy but is so relaxing it is a lovely haven in the centre of a vibrant city. The breakfast is delicious with very good choice to suit everyone, the rooms are spotless and spacious and every member of staff is so friendly and helpful. - travelbug255093 (10/5): Location, great staff and beautiful hotel - A beautiful hotel with historic and luxurious charm. We stayed in a deluxe premium room on the first floor. It was which very roomy with a king bed and a view over red tiles to the main swimming pool. There is also a second pool in a quiet area surrounded by greenery. Breakfast is awesome. So much to choose from including a variety of hot dishes like chicken, fish, curry plus dim sum, sushi, cold cuts, fruit, pastries etc. There was also a chefs station to cook your eggs whichever way you wanted. There are restaurants on the property but it’s also an easy 15 minute walk to Newton’s Food Centre with its famous hawker style food stalls including a few with a Michelin star. To the left it’s a 3 minute walk to Orchard Road and a plethora of shops and more places to eat The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful without being pushy. Always had a smile. We would definitely stay here again

The golf buggy took us with ease to our apartment. It had everything that we needed including a well fitted-out kitchen, washing machine and desk. Bed was super comfy. Free parking was a bonus.

The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The environment was beautiful and created a very comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for dining. The service was excellent, and we would like to give a special thanks to Joshua. He patiently explained every dish to us in great detail and thoughtfully recommended portions based on our group size. We really appreciated that he helped us avoid over-ordering and wasting food. That level of care and consideration truly made this restaurant stand out to us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to others!

- Passport56776028601 (8/5): Hi-Tea at L'Espresso - Had hi-tea at L'Espresso today. Pleasantly surprised that it was better than a few years ago when I was here. Food has variety and decent. I came on a Thursday and the hi-tea duration (2pm to 5.30pm) was good for a lazy way to spend the afternoon. Service by the friendly staff was also good. My only regret is the limitation on its tea and coffee beverages, which was not enough for me to laze the afternoon away. Thank you L'Espresso 🥰
