Kostia P (8/5): - Το δωμάτιο για μια οικογένεια 4 ατόμων ήτανε πολυ άνετο. Βέβαια για τα παιδια υπήρχε καναπές κρεβατι και οχι κανονικά κρεβατια. Το προσωπικό στο πρωινό και στο μπαρ ήτανε ευγενικό. Ενώ το ξενοδοχειο διαθέτει παρκιν το χρέωσαν 35€ την ημέρα. Επίσης γενικά το προσωπικό της ρεσεψιόν ηταν οριακά αγενές.

Special shout out to Eda at breakfast who was exceptional for her customer service, the lady who checked us in on the 5th May and helped us practice our Italian, plus the gentlemen who checked us out. All lovely people delivering exceptional service. Highly recommend!

I like it unique atmosphere, location, cozy rooms, friendly atmosphere and good service. It is real Palazzo: beautiful inner yard with flowers and trees,stylish, clean and elegant building. Comfortable, clean rooms, nice breakfasts. WiFI could be better.

Simon (9/5): Gerne wieder - Das Hotel war sehr sauber und das Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Die Lage war ruhig aber sehr gut zu Fuß ins Zentrum erreichbar. Das Personal hätte freundlicher sein können.
Angelika (10/5): Angenehmer und ruhiger Aufenthalt in Florenz - Ruhige Unterkunft (keine Geräusche aus den benachbarten Zimmern), sehr schönes Interieur (auch im Eingangs- und Lobbybereich), sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, Sauna und Fitnessbereich vorhanden (mit Anmeldung), sehr zuvorkommendes Personal an der Rezeption. Ausreichendes Frühstück auch für Allergiker und Menschen mit Unverträglichkeiten geeignet. Infos zum Hotel nur über QR Code möglich. Ruhige Umgebung, zu den Hotspots muss man etwas laufen (was für uns aber nicht schlimm war).

carlsonjames1 (6/5): Good, but could use some improvements - First the positive...beautiful boutique hotel with a combination of antique and modern with the touches of an top interior designer. Beautiful courtyard and close to the train station. Exceptional service from Dario at the front desk who made great recommendations, reservations and enthusiastically greeted us each day. Now the not so positive...Breakfast was not up to par with other boutique hotels we've stayed at in Italy and France. The continental breakfast is weak and your only hot choice is scrambled eggs. Yes you can order an omelet or French toast for an upcharge, but it is not included when you purchase breakfast. 70% of the time we didn't even get asked if wanted anything besides coffee. Internet is great in the lobby but weak in the rooms. We choose hotels with good accomidations, good location and a great breakfast to start the day. This hotel did 2 out of three and is fixable if management wants address. Would not stay here again

I really liked the location and the food and drinks are wonderful and priced very fair. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting Florence. There is nothing that I didn't like. Fast elevator, easy check in and I loved the location.
Cristina (10/5): Be aware of traffic restrictions if traveling to the hotel by car!!! - Very nice hotel. We booked a basic room but we were upgraded to a larger room. Clean and spacious bathroom. The hotel is on a quiet street so no outside noises disturbed us. Before completing the reservation, we called the hotel to confirm the property was outside Florence's ZTL zone (limited traffic zone where only residents can access; very stiff fines for unauthorized cars entering the restricted zone). We were assure by a staff member that the cameras recording the access points of the ZTL are not working and we could drive to the hotel without issues. Well it looks like the cameras were on after all. We followed the driving directions provided by our iPhone. Apparently there is a way to reach the hotel and avoid the cameras but that specific route was never mentioned when we called the hotel. We are now waiting to receive the fine in the mail; we'll see how it goes but I think the hotel staff should be more clear when giving driving instructions to people driving to the hotel.

Iris (10/5): Lovely Stay - We loved our stay in Palazzo Montebello! The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, the beds were super comfy! The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was great, just 15 minutes walk to the center of Florence, and you could walk by the river Arno to enjoy a view of the city. The breakfast was nice. The decoration of the lobby and the patio of the hotel was very eclectic. We would gladly return to this hotel on our next visit in Florence.

Alina (10/5): - If you’re looking for that "just right" spot in Florence, this is it. We honestly couldn't have picked a better home base for our trip. The Location: Best of Both Worlds The positioning is genius. You’re close enough to the heart of the city that all the main sights are just a short, easy walk away, but you aren't stuck in the middle of the suffocating tourist crowds. It felt like we had our own quiet escape to return to after a long day of exploring. The Space: Room to Breathe Finding space in European hotels can be a gamble, but our room was surprisingly spacious. The real MVP, though? The terrace. Having that extra outdoor space to unwind with a coffee (or a glass of wine) really leveled up the whole experience. The Vibe & Staff- BIG Thank You to Leonardo! What really made the trip, though, was the team. The staff were absolute gems—incredibly helpful with every single inquiry we had, no matter how small. Bottom line: This place didn't just give us a bed to sleep in; it actually made our entire experience in Firenze perfect. We’d go back in a heartbeat! nothing

The hotel is beautiful but the breakfast had very limited options but you get champagne - Beautiful location, a little bit away from the centre of the city but a walkable distance The air conditioning unit didn’t work. I was on the courtyard floor and had to open my windows (which was technically a door) to get cool my room down. I asked reception about this and they told me that April was still considered as winter month (weird) so the unit would only work as a heater not a coolant.

When you pay for breakfast you expect hot food included the price not to have to pay for eggs etc …. Not enough choice. Poor bread cheep cold meats. I love my breakfast and I wouldn’t stay here again because of this. Poor value for money on the breakfast side.Very disappointed.

Lina (5/5): In Ordnung - Das Hotel ist sauber und optisch sehr ansprechend. Das Personal ist freundlich und organisiert. Alles in allem ist es ein optisch sehr ansprechendes Hotel mit viel Potenzial. Die Lage ist gut, ein schöner 20 min Spaziergang in die Innenstadt. Allerdings ist anzumerken, dass die Zimmer sowohl Doppel- als auch Einzelzimmer deutlich kleiner sind, als auf den Bildern dargestellt, sich preislich deutlich unterscheiden, aber faktisch die gleichen Zimmer sind. Der Aufpreis für ein einzeln belegtes Doppelzimmer ist daher nicht gerechtfertigt, da es genau dasselbe Zimmer ist. Die Zimmer haben keine Balkone. Das wird auf der Seite anders dargestellt. Die Badezimmer sind winzig. Vielleicht 6 Quadratmeter und davon nimmt die Dusche bestimmt 1,5 ein. Zu zweit wäre das nicht möglich. In einem Zimmer lässt sich die Tür wegen des Handtuchhalters nicht öffnen. Das Zimmer hat auch keinen Kleiderschrank, wie angegeben. Das WLAN funktionierte auch nicht. Leider konnte man nicht mal googeln. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, sodass man abends andere hört. Wenn man mit einem Hund reist, bekommt man das Bett und Napf, das in der Beschreibung steht leider nicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr mager. Wenig Obst und Gemüseauswahl. Vielleicht 3-4 Brötchensorten und bisschen Wurst und Käse. Das ist kein 4-Sterne- Hotel Frühstück. Allerdings wird es der Beschreibung nicht gerecht. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich für 250€ die Nacht ein anderes Hotel gebucht.

Гуляешь в центре, а отдыхать возвращаешься в тишину, это большое преимущество для Флоренции. Удивил завтрак, очень и очень скромный для такой цены отеля. С одной стороны на завтраке каждый день было игристое, а с другой стороны яичница за дополнительную плату Завтрак необходимо улучшить для отеля такого уровня. Непонятная история с пододеяльником, его просто нет, одеяло лежит между 2-х простыней, все постоянно сбивается

Laura (10/5): Beautiful hotel with friendly staff in a great location - Beautiful hotel with a lovely outside area very central to Florence. All the staff we encountered were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We had to leave early on our final day, we had paid for breakfast so the hotel provided us with breakfast takeaway bags which were waiting for us when we checked out. We would love to stay here again and explore more of Florence in the future. Nothing

Karen (4/5): So many little things made the stay unpleasant and unfortunately spoiled the entire first time trip to Florence - The reception staff were extremely unfriendly and not forthcoming with requests. The breakfast is underwhelming for a 4 star establishment. Room was not cleaned by 3:30pm in the afternoon with the excuse of being busy.

The AC didn’t work in the room so it was really warm, but our room had a window luckily so we had fresh air to cool down the room when needed.

J'ai organisé une surprise pour l'amie avec qui je voyageais avec l'aide de l'épique du palazzo. La surprise a été au rendez-vous, même mieux que je ne l'imaginais! Merci encore à eux pour cet incroyable séjour! Le petit-déjeuner est également très bon. Tout était parfait, rien de négatif à relever.

Katerina (9/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is very cozy and elegantly furnished, located in a great neighborhood with a beautiful inner courtyard. The rooms are spacious and quiet, which made our stay very comfortable. We chose this hotel mainly for its location — it is within walking distance of the train station, while also being close to the city center. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded the room for our son, which was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay here again.

The suite was truly impressive — the ceiling paintings were the absolute highlight and made the room feel very special and unique. The location was excellent as well, making it easy to explore the area. The parking fees were a bit high, but the secure underground garage made it worthwhile. At breakfast, a slightly wider selection would have been nice — but that’s really complaining at a high level.

Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful, calm place to stay in Firenze! - We loved the location just a short walk from the Arno and about 1 km from the Duomo. It was so quiet and a very restful spot. The room upgrade we received was much appreciated, and the small private terrace was a great plus. Even if the weather was a bit cold, we enjoyed our morning coffee in the sunshine on the terrace. Many thanks to the staff for the wonderful experience. As in many hotels, we followed the instructions to leave our towels hanging up so as not to have them changed, but they were changed anyway.
