Aburel (8/5): Back after a while - Glad to be back to this Sofitel. Excellent location between Eiffel and Arc de Triumph, next to many restaurants, metro, shops, etc. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, attention to the details, nice bar, good vibe and excellent decorations. The architects and decorators have succeeded to make even the small rooms to look decent, well appointed, etc. with comfortable beds and efficient bathrooms. Sometime the size of the rooms can be tight for a couple, definitely from the wardrobe prospective. Long stays might be challenging from this point of view. Otherwise comfortable, elegant, careful.

giorgiadV5071RF (2/5): NEVER EVER AGAIN! Very disappointing experience – far from what was booked - We paid €1,685 for two nights, and the experience we had was extremely disappointing. The room we were assigned did not match the photos or the description provided at the time of booking in any way. We had booked a Junior Suite with a king-size bed and a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room we actually received was significantly smaller than shown, and the so-called “Eiffel Tower view” consisted only of the tip of the tower, visible only from a certain angle. In our opinion, this cannot be considered a true Eiffel Tower view. We arrived at the property at 1:30 a.m. The check-in process was slow and unprofessional. We were even advised to check the room first, which gave us the impression that the staff was already aware that it did not fully correspond to what had been booked. After seeing the room and reporting the issue, we were informed that resolving the situation could take 2–3 hours, in the middle of the night. At 4:00 a.m. there was no manager on site, as the manager was only expected to arrive later. The only solution offered was for us to stay temporarily in that room until it would be possible to speak with the person in charge. This was a very stressful situation for us, especially considering the high price paid. In the following days, we were refunded only one night. At the same time, however, we were charged more than €900 for approximately 5 hours of stay in a room that did not match what we had booked. From our perspective, this outcome was completely disproportionate to the service received. Given the price charged, we expected transparency, customer focus, and an appropriate resolution. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet these expectations in any way. In our view, the value for money was completely unsatisfactory. Service was well below expectations. We would not return and cannot recommend this property.
Granit (1/5): - Titel: Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung – weit entfernt von dem, was gebucht wurde Wir haben 1.685 € für zwei Nächte bezahlt und die gemachte Erfahrung war für uns äußerst enttäuschend. Das Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, entsprach in keiner Weise den Fotos und der Beschreibung zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung. Gebucht war eine Junior Suite mit Kingsize-Bett und Blick auf den Eiffelturm. Das tatsächlich erhaltene Zimmer war deutlich kleiner als dargestellt, und vom angeblichen „Eiffelturm-Blick“ war lediglich die Spitze zu sehen, und auch nur aus einem bestimmten Winkel. Für uns kann das nicht als echter Eiffelturm-Blick bezeichnet werden. Wir kamen um 1:30 Uhr nachts in der Unterkunft an. Der Check-in verlief langsam und wenig professionell. Uns wurde sogar empfohlen, das Zimmer zunächst zu überprüfen, was bei uns den Eindruck hinterließ, dass bereits bekannt war, dass es nicht vollständig der Buchung entsprach. Nachdem wir das Zimmer gesehen und das Problem gemeldet hatten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Klärung der Situation 2–3 Stunden dauern könnte, mitten in der Nacht. Um 4:00 Uhr morgens war kein Manager vor Ort, da dieser erst später eintreffen sollte. Die einzige vorgeschlagene Lösung bestand darin, vorübergehend in diesem Zimmer zu bleiben, bis ein Gespräch mit dem Verantwortlichen möglich wäre. Für uns war das eine sehr belastende Situation, insbesondere angesichts des hohen Preises. In den darauffolgenden Tagen wurde uns nur eine Nacht erstattet. Gleichzeitig wurde uns jedoch ein Betrag von über 900 € für etwa 5 Stunden Aufenthalt berechnet – in einem Zimmer, das nicht dem gebuchten entsprach. Aus unserer Sicht war dieses Ergebnis völlig iunverhältnismäßig im Vergleich zur erhaltenen Leistung. Angesichts des verlangten Preises hätten wir Transparenz, Kundenorientierung und eine angemessene Problemlösung erwartet. Leider entsprach unsere Erfahrung dem in keiner Weise. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus unserer Sicht völlig unzufriedenstellend.

Our experience with the hotel was excellent. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The location was ideal for us . The breakfast was very good and prompt . Maybe a little more information about the hotel at check in but to be fair this was a small point and we would certainly recommend and return .

ABT403 (8/5): A good stay in Paris at Sofitel Paris Baltimore - We had a good stay at the Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel. We were there for 5 nights for our Paris honeymoon. It was in a good location, not too busy with quick access to the Trocadero, easy access to the classic tourist areas as well as some good cafe's. I have to say we are very accustomed to AllAccor hotels, including Sofitel & Fairmont, we are Platinum members and really value this chain. I don't feel the Sofitel Paris Baltimore really met the quality we are used to in terms of customer service, treatment of loyalty members and overall comforts. That being said it was a good stay, we will always stay at AllAccor hotels and look forward to trying another in Paris.

anthonysZ3182VZ (2/5): Horrible Experience - The Sofitel Baltimore Paris hotel was a horrible experience! Although it is listed as a 4 star hotel, don't believe it. It is a 1 star hotel at best. While the staff was efficient and courteous, they did nothing to make us feel special or welcomed. I had my doubts when they led us to our room through a very narrow hallway off the main hallway. I believe they stuck us in a room reserved for employees and or emergency overflow (we traveled in November off peak so they were not at capacity). The room was extremely small; so small you could not even fit a bag in the room. They had no luggage stand because literally there was no room to unfold it in the room: That is how tight and small the room was. We understand that hotel room size is smaller in Europe, but this supposedly a 4 star hotel with equivalent room rates! The person that brought our bags to the room (only because we could not fit the bags and us on the very tiny elevator. You better not be claustrophobic to use the elevators), and showed us to our room, did not explain the room to us such as; where the safe, coffee maker, thermostat, minbar...was and point out our complimentary bottle wine that came with the booking. (BTW, they tried to charge us for the complimentary wine until we pointed out it was part of our package). We asked about the luggage stand and he said there was none in the room. We asked that they bring one up, but they never did. It did not matter as stated before there was no room to unfold it. After thirty minutes in the room with the heat blasting full force even though the thermostat was turned down to the coldest setting, we called the front desk and 30 minutes later they sent someone to fix it. They said they fixed it and the room cooled off, but no matter what setting you put the thermostat on the air conditioning stayed on. It was not pleasant, but it was tolerable. No one called or asked at the front desk if the heating air conditioning was fixed in the room. We tried to close the drapes before retiring for bed, only to find the curtain rod was broken. It was hung at such an angle downward that one of us had to stand on a chair with an umbrella to prop up the one end, while the other person stood on the bed and attempted to close the drapes...absolutely comical and took 10 minutes to get the drape to close properly. The next morning we asked them to not have housekeeping touch the drapes because they were broken: No offer to fix the rod or apologize...again this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and a Superior room. A few good things to say: The breakfast that was included was excellent and the made to order omelets were delicious, also the kitchen staff was friendlier and more accommodating than the rest of the hotel staff. Also, the bedding and mattress were comfortable and made for a good night sleep.

kyhut (6/5): Great Location, Good Stay — But Not 5-Star Sofitel Quality - First, the positives: the location is great. I would stay here again for that reason alone if I wanted to be in this area. The Boissière metro station is just across the road, making it very easy to get around Paris. We stayed in a suite while a family member stayed in a basic room, I definitely recommend choosing a suite if you can, as the rooms are quite small. I loved the Dyson hairdryer in the suite. The small bar in the lobby was great for evening drinks, and the staff were wonderful and attentive. Reception staff were pleasant and always greeted us when walking through the lobby when they weren't busy. Service was generally prompt, when we requested ice, it was delivered within 15minutes, and only once did we have to call back after about 40 minutes of no service. Rooms were clean. Now for the not-so-great aspects. I’m being a bit picky, as this is meant to be a 5 star hotel, charging 5 star prices, and I’m a Diamond member with Accor who’s stayed at many Sofitel's. Given that Sofitel is a French luxury brand, I expected the flagship Paris properties to shine, but unfortunately, it didn't and this one felt closer to a 4-star experience. When we arrived, there was no doorman. We had 7 bags and had to take them into the lobby ourselves in the rain, with no cover outside the entrance from the car, so we got drenched, not a great start. The lobby is small, so our luggage blocked the walkway while we waited 15 minutes to check in as it was busy and all the seats inside were occupied. We stayed for 8 nights and never once saw a doorman, unusual for a Sofitel, let alone any 5 star hotel. Rooms are small, even the suites, but that’s fairly typical for Paris. Breakfast, however, was disappointing, the scrambled eggs tasted like a packet mix, so we ended up eating elsewhere. The waiter was kind and offered to remake them, but unfortunately, you can’t fix powdered eggs. There were also no power points in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The basic room faced the street and was noisy at times; our suite faced other rooms, so we kept the curtains closed, but at least it was quieter. Overall, it’s a nice hotel in a great location, but it lacks the luxury and polish Sofitel is known for. If you arrive with minimal expectations, you’ll likely enjoy your stay. The main highlight here is, without doubt, the location.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and close to many great restaurants, shops, and metro station. xtax2014 (10/5): Very beautiful hotel perfectly located in the heart of Paris - Firstly I must express my gratitude toward Wenceslas, a perfect gentleman, Concierge personnel, extremely well mannered, so helpful with everything related to our car, relations upon diverse subjects of interest near the hotel and many more. Then once being in our room ( very nice with two fresh windows toward Kleber Boulevard ), we enjoyed the suite upgrade that we chose on purpose. The only bemoans came from the two extractors ( in the toilet and bathroom ) that weren't functioning, a bit unpleasant, frankly. Another minor issue is the Cromecast provider, that leaves you in the impossibility displaying your own YouTube or Netflix on the TV set. But when it's functioning, grace to the in-Room network, it's just perfect. The lady in charge with our room cleaning was also a marvel - I think Luiza ( Louise ? ) leaving our room spotless , everyday ! And I should also mention Nardine from the concierge who took care upon connecting & charging our electric vehicle , such a huge help as SIXT FR never told us how to use the public chargers when not being provided with a special local card for the purpose ! All in all it was a wonderful experience , and we took a full profit of the central position of the hotel being accompanied by a splendid weather. It rendered our stay just magnifique )))

Abbiamo prenotato il pacchetto anniversario per un compleanno..nonostante avessimo fatto il check in anticipato (3 donne nella stanza), lo champagne che ci aspettava era accompagnato da 2 bicchieri di cui uno scheggiato. Dopo 20 min è arrivata anche la torta..con 2 piatti e 2 posate.. X 2 giorni di fila abbiamo chiesto il refil del body lotion nel bagno (l'abbiamo trovato vuoto).. Magari sono sciocchezze ma il prezzo non ne vale questa qualità di servizio.

The coffee maker in my room did not work, there are no outlets in the bathroom ( a bit hard to blow dry one's hair) and the food in the restaurant was ok. Breakfast was fine but our dinner was horrible. Staff was nice. for the price, you can do better.

This a premium priced hotel we chose because of an attractive offer from Chase Sapphire Reserve, including early check in, late check out and room upgrades, when available. The "junior suites" we paid for in advance were about 280 square feet. Rather than early check in, we were told upon arrival around 3 pm our prepaid room would be available "shortly". Finally, the room was finally cleaned by 6:30 pm. The on site restaurant was simply average and the common area/lobby was small and a little crowded. The staff was pleasant, though not particularly concerned about the inconvenience. On the plus side the rooms were quiet and the bedding satisfactory. The exercise room, by the way, is the size of of a closet. One can do much better in Paris.

Jerseyreviewer (10/5): Great location and great staff - We stayed at this hotel in August to celebrate my husbands birthday. Slightly disappointed at the start as we weren’t happy with the location of our room but eventually that was sorted and we were moved to a room that we were really happy with. Location of the hotel is perfect and within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. ALL the staff at the hotel are great and a special mention to Nayeem, Vera and Joulette who made our stay extra special. Whilst writing this review, already looking at going back there in the next couple of months.

S9489WR_ (2/5): Avoid this hotel by all means - I booked 6 nights of junior suite of this hotel. I was assigned to room 201 at about Aug 21st 7:00. After I entered the room, I found it is not the junior suite I booked. it is wet, noisy and around 100 square feet smaller than the junior suite I have booked. you can tell the details from the photos I uploaded. So I went to the front desk and asked the hotel staff to change my room because it is not the junior suite I booked. The female staff said it is the same as what they described on the website and agent website in which it said junior suite is 300 square feet with city view. The male staff said the website is just an attraction and I can’t expect the same. After I insisted to change room, they responded with “I have told your there is no available room”“ I will not talk with you” “ act like an adult” . On the following morning, I called the agent which I booked the hotel from, Another front desk staff changed my room to 210 which is a junior suite, more close to the website description. Other staffs of this hotel is good except the two front desk staff of on my first day, The female staff’s attitude is especially bad, my vacation is totally ruined by this. In summary, with this hotel you need to accept what room they assigned to you no matter what you booked or else you will be treated very badly. If you read other 1 star / 2 star review even the 4 star review you will find room downgrade with no reason and rudeness of individual staffs is long-lasting issue of this hotel. I filed complains on the accor websites and the only response I got is automated reply. No one cares customer‘s experience.
Hossein (6/5): Overall down experience - Expectations were sky high, reality was just so-so 1. I paid for a king sized bed. What I got was two wins pushed together with the ever not so awesome gap in the middle 2. The door handle broke off and I was stuck in my room 3. The elevator broke 4. Contrary to the pictures, there is no view of the Eiffel Tower 5. Everything was just so average.

The location is great - across the street from the Metro and a short walk to Trocadero Sq.

My confirmed booking was cancelled without warning or proper compensation, leaving me stranded and forced to book another hotel at a much higher price. This is not just poor service — it’s completely irresponsible. I had made plans, adjusted my travel itinerary, and trusted this property. Their actions have caused me unnecessary stress, emotional distress, and financial loss. I expected at least a refund or alternate accommodation assistance — but received no support or accountability. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I would not recommend booking here if you expect reliability or basic professionalism.
189mjh (10/5): Wonderful hotel. - Everyone was friendly & caring. Lovely breakfast. Spotless & beautiful hotel. Great location for walking to sightseeing & shopping, with easy connection to Metropolitan & cabs. Close to Eiffel Tower, Seine boats, Arc & Champs de Elysse. Local cafes also great. They made our stay magical.
