• Janina (6/5): Großartige lage, gute Größe, mangelnde Hygiene - Die Lage des Apartments ist absolut fabelhaft. Man kann sehr viele schöne Orte zu Fuß erreichen und Midtown/Upper Eastside sind einer der schönsten Stadtteile von Manhattan. Das Apartment ist ausreichend groß für zwei Personen, das Badezimmer mit 3 Spiegeln versehen und ebenfalls ausreichend groß Eigentlich gab es nur einen Minuspunkt an unserem Aufenthalt: die Sauberkeit. Bei Anreise sah das Apartment sehr sauber aus. Nach 5 min auf weißen Socken, waren diese allerdings schwarz. Das ist auch nicht übertrieben. Sie waren wirklich schwarz von unten. Das Apartment wurde definitiv noch nie feucht gewischt. Ebenso war die Zwischenreinigung quasi nicht vorhanden. Jeden Tag klopften Reinigungskräfte an der Tür, diese tauchen allerdings nur täglich die Handtücher (immerhin) und leerten die Müllbeutel aus. Ansonsten wurde in einer Woche schlichtweg gar nichts gereinigt und nach einer Woche war der Zustand des Badezimmers & des Fußboden wirklich ekelig, trotz dessen, dass wir jeden Tag selbst mit einem Besen, welcher vor Ort war, das Apartments fegten und versuchten es so gut es ging Siebe zu halten

I understand this was not something that property could avoid but something that could have been compensated. Price is crazy expensive so the property should compensate customers on this situation, not assume that it is “not his fault” I would not choose this place again

Situation idéale pour la visite des nations unies et pour repartie vers l’aeroport pour un vol en fin de journée car pas besoin de traverser Manhattan L’obligation d’envoyer le passeport pour s’enregistrer avant l’arrivée. Le fait que la femme de menage ne passe pas si on quitte l’appartement après 10.30. L’absence d’une éponge et d’un torchon pour un nettoyage quotidien de la kitchenette. La porte mitoyenne pas insonorisée avec l'appartement d’à coté . On a un peu « vécu » avec le voisin , heureusement seulement les deux derniers soirs.

• Monica (7/5): - There was an issue at the property and I was finally moved to the Sonder Flatiron hotel a few blocks further south. Though it was a bit of last minute scramble, the Sonder team made everything in their power to ensure I was comfortable. In the end I am really happy about the change as their Flatiron property is in a beautiful neighbourhood, right by Madison square park and lots of quaint cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was large by NY standards, pristine and a really large comfortable bed.

• Jacqueline (8/5): Een stad om nooit te vergeten. - Toch een rustige locatie in een goede buurt. Schoonmaak was prima. De inlogcode werkte niet de eerstse dag. En ook de tweede dag niet. Was een beetje vreemd. Dat is wel opgelost. We vonden het heel bijzonder dat de portier de hele dag achter de balie stond. Heel vreemd dat deze man niet mocht zitten. Dat vonden wij niet menselijk.

• Ive (1/5): Never again - Check-in was not spotless since I received the instructions rather late. Instruction to upload your passport and if you did not do this you don't get your access code. Calling the helpdesk was frustrating and not helpful. We needed to find a spot where we could find internet to upload our passport details in the hotels app otherwise we were not allowed in our room, not even to go on the internet ... Had the feeling they rather had me sleeping on the street then helping me. Never again

• Maurice (8/5): SIMPLY SONDER: A LOVE(ISH) STORY - The room was clean, tastefully decorated and was located in a great location (10 min walk from Grand Central, 20 min walk to Times Square). Added bonus of a small kitchenette with everything you need. Sonder accommodated my request for early check-in and late check-out without additional cost (just ask in the chat). Check-in and access to the room through your phone is very convenient. Would definitely stay again. There wasn't a comfortable space for 2 people to lounge within the room. The only options were a small dining table with two dining chairs or the small single chair next to the bed. Also, didn't like that the baggage storage area was not secured; the door was open and anyone could walk in at any time. Definitely not secure to store bags.

The apartment was incredibly spacious, secure, and super practical. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, which made the whole experience even better. If I had to mention one small improvement, it would be to add a smaller frying pan, as it wasn’t possible to use the pan and pot on the stove at the same time. Other than that, I couldn’t have asked for more! Nothing!! Everything was perfect :)

Apartment was a good size, with room for three in our party. From the picture I thought the bathroom was off the bedroom, which I thought would be awkward, but the entrance to bathroom was in its own space, making it much easier for three people to share without disturbing each other. It was relatively quiet and very comfortable. Staff was responsive to our needs.

We never tried to open it, but there wasn’t a key for a lock in it or any apparent locking mechanism. The next door flat kept trying to open it, but we had the sofa in the way.

Great location The common areas were dark, not well ventilated . Even though it is asvertises as no smoking cigarette smoke and marijuanna odor permiated the commin areas and our apartment 4 G. It really smelled as though it was coming through the bathroom vents. Someone vomitted Friday evening all over the elevator on the left and remained there until late morning Saturday in spite of doorman who came in a 5 am seeing it. His comment this is a building full of under 30 year old with rich parents . Happens all the time here
• A9012YQsusana (10/5): Nice place for a longer stay - The room at the Nash was very comfortable. Equipped with all amenities except a hairdryer which I had brought my own. We needed more towels and they were very responsive. There is a supply closet on the first floor if you need extra toilet paper or ear plugs. I will say it was a bit noisy. We were on the third floor but it didn't bother us. The one negative for us is that there is no place to safely store your suitcase so you have to take it with you once you check out. Check is at exactly to the minute. You are given a code for your room and it works exactly at the moment your reservation starts. Also if you arrive early again no place to store your suitcase until you can get in the room. If I was staying for a long time it would be fine but schlepping our suitcase around the city was not fun.

• Natasha (9/5): Would definitely chose this option again on a future visit. - The location was really excellent - safe, close to a subway and lots of restaurants close by. The apartment was very well appointed, spacious and clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the sofa bed was also a good size. If you're not used to air con - the unit is noisy. We ended up switching it off while watching TV. And maybe bring your own hair dryer if you like to blow dry your hair as the one on site has no power.

• HomeAloneBuzz (6/5): Dece for nyc - Comfy bed spacious studio (for nyc). A decent amount of noise at night from neighboring units made it hard to sleep. Also kitchen sink was clogged and didn’t drain. Otherwise a solid accommodation, well located and easy to get into the unit.

Bed and sofa bed were comfy and the living room area closes off, which made putting the kids down helpful so that we could still have dinner and see friends without waking them. We’ll be back!

• Matthew (10/5): Great value for money in a fantastic location - Very spacious, especially by New York standards… although only a couple of inches between wall and foot of the bed, but thankfully each side of the bedroom area had its own entrance. Absolutely fantastic location. Were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted on Manhattan Island. The refrigerator had not been emptied out after the previous occupants, so there were some of their old salad bits in there.

• takahiroi2025 (8/5): a few things that bothered me - I was mostly satisfied, but there were a few things that bothered me. 1) The carpet didn't seem to have been cleaned properly and there was a lot of hair on it. 2) The bathtub drain seemed broken so we couldn't fill it with hot water. 3) The room I stayed in had a connecting door, but it wasn't soundproof at all, so I was bothered by the neighbors' conversations and the crying of babies.

It was very well cleaned! Location is excellent, midtown east with transportation like subway and buses near. No complains, we enjoyed our stay !

Without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever slept in. The pillows were amazing too. Excellent wifi and TV channel selection. A wine glass would have been nice to have and couldn’t work out the coffee maker. So spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay again

Fantastic customer service!! Rating is a 3 1/2 - 4 ONLY because our room was loud - even by NY standards. We were over the garage and heard it all night. Also it’s a tiny bit dingy but as NY apartments go, it was better than most.

• Brooke (10/5): Perfect Stay For Two - Originally booked the king room for one for about a week, had a friend spontaneously decide to fly in and come stay aswell. The room was incredibly clean, very cozy, nicely decorated, and had TONS of storage space.The kitchen supplied everything we needed. The room and king bed ended up being perfect, if not more than big enough, for the two of us. Definitely recommend downloading the Sonder app during your stay, very easy to use, has digital room key so you don't have to punch in the code each time, makes it super easy to request a late/early checkout or check-in, and the customer service team is extremely timely and helpful. We needed extra towels at 5am, sent a message, got a response in minutes and a bag of fresh towels were at our door by 7am. The area is very safe and there is a coffee shop and very nice market extremely close as well as plenty of nice restaurants. Was such a nice place to stay and I would absolutely stay again in the future and would recommend it to others aswell!

This was one of the easiest trips to plan thanks the easy app. Pictures and reviews were spot on. Comfortable beds, pillows, and having a kitchen and table made it a nice stay for our family.
• Daydream07248609730 (10/5): All you need and great support - The Nash is ideally located to get to central transport within 10-15min walk to grand central. Quiet enough area so not disturbed. The unit is compact but had all the amenities needed. This was third Sonder we stayed at on this trip and it was good to have common facilities across all. Had a couple of initial minor issues, but Sonder addressed within hour. Older heating/cooling so if yiou like cooler room might need to open window a bit. Great bed but space to end wall a bit tight for anyone large. Overall great stay.
• Mille (10/5): All in all a very spacious, clean, cozy and convenient place to stay. A little noicy and bright at night - but what to - I am very satisfied with having stayed two weeks at Sonder at the Nash. The hotel appartment was spacious, clean, cozy and convenient as it is placed in walking distance to the UN and nearly anywhere in midtown Manhattan. The appartment looked like the pictures and had a very Nordic feel to it. The building has a 24/7 doorman and feels very safe like the surrounding neighborhood. The Sonder staff would reply within a minute on the Sonder chat function and accommodate any wishes I had (incl. new batteries to the remote controle, late check out etc.). It was very easy to check in and out and to use the access code for the door. The appartment and the kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Midtown Manhatten is evidently a noicy area with traffic, construction work and the eternal airconditioning buzz, and the walls of the appartment were quite thin, so you could easily hear the neighbors talk, watch television and snore. Also the roller blind was white and did not block the street light, so it was very bright in the room at night.

You can’t get a key or a code from the front desk you need to call Sonder. I didn’t get my key code in advance so had to call them to check in. Not a huge deal but make sure you have your host get you your door-code before check in to save time. I requested a Late check out, but then got locked out of the room after 11 AM. It took a 10 minute phone call and someone physically brought me my key to re enter. Process should be much more fluid than this….

• deannamK6221QR (8/5): Good, but room for improvement - The location is great, the living space generous and having access to laundry in the building made our extended stay quite comfortable. This property was not very clean when we arrived. The kitchen dishes, cutting board, and flatware had old food on them. They had obviously gone through the dishwasher, bit no one assured they weee completely clean before putting away. Additionally, the kitchen was outfitted scarcely. It would have been nice to have a can opener in the kitchen, a lid for for the fry pan, and a baking sheet to roast vegetables in the oven. The proximity of the supermarket two clocks away made fixing these issues easy, but I wasn’t anticipating having to buy these items. The full size oven made preparing healthy meals easy after we got some baking sheets. There were multiple closets (3) in the apartment, however there were only 10 hangers. We ended up buying plastic hangers to properly store our clothes. Overall, this property was a good rental. That said, a periodic review of the contents (kitchen items, hangers, cleanliness) would increase the comfort of the rental significantly. No renter wants to spend time finding a can opener or hangers. Or re-cleaning the kitchen so a sandwich and drink can be prepared.

• susannaduarte (10/5): Wonderful stay - Such wonderful stay… I wasn’t expecting anything different because we’re talking about Sonder… read a lot of comments online and honestly I can’t agree with most of the bad reviews that I saw… the studio was fully furnished, renovated (except the bathroom, but no big deal), with all appliances needed, it was a big studio btw… we’re talking about NYC midtown, don’t expect to find anything bigger. The building was very secure, the concierge was always friendly and very professional. Because Sonder is at a building with residents, we cross with so many people that live in the building and we never had any problem…they were always friendly. We stayed at the 5th floor and the only noise that we heard was from the street outside and wasn’t so bad… we had some small doubts at the beginning, but Sonder staff helped us very quickly.
• Gabriella (7/5): Good - The staff are very helpful and the location is good (most of the attractions were within walking distance, and close to grand central station for other locations. The app was also very useful to ask questions or for guidance and connivence. There was no hairdryer although it was written that there will be. Also, we had an issue with the freezer and send a message on the app but no one replied.
• Amy (8/5): Very good - Amazing location and price. Lots of space for 4 adults and great to have the kitchen Laundrette requires a card you need to buy plus minimum topup which makes it expensive to only use once.

The whole studio is very comfortable. The location is great. The building staff is very kind. Cons: The dish washer had a strange odour.

• ricklY499UC (10/5): Nash is Fabulous! - Just stayed Sonder The Nash. Downloaded the Sonder App and was super easy to navigate . I stayed in NYC for 10 days for business and this location was amazing as its on the east side of Manhattan near my offices. Also the property is undergoing a renovation as the rooms are amazing with brand new furniture and is SUPER comfortable !

The heating was not functioning well, though customer support were considerate and tried to solve the problem a.s.a.p. The room was not very clean.

• Carole (10/5): A great place to stay - A well situated spacious apartment with all you need to be comfortable. Any extra requests were easily met via a quick chat on the app. Some people left their delivery food containers outside their doors which made the hallway smell. Luckily this never permeated into the apartments
• Dechiaroma (9/5): Nice location, very clean and well equipped. - was clean, kitchen well equiped, silent place. they charged 250 before check in without warning, I complained in the chat, but they said it was policy. The room was nice, however it may need some tlc (I see the wall paint was patched in a few places, floor is quite tired). Other that that all good. Manhattan is very expensive, at least we paid and got some comfort
• Laura (9/5): perfect location - perfect position. close to grand central station and some of the main museums (MoMA) and main buildings (Flatiron for example is only 15 mins away by foot). the flat reflects the pictures and the staff at the reception is very helpful. also the app and the support from remote is friendly and effective. during our stay the room locking combination stopped working, but the structure was very helpful to solve the issue immediately. It was not the best after 5hours in the rain, but problem solved!

• Ashleigh (10/5): Fantastic location with a real feel for living in New York City - The room was a great size for the location. Lots of space and felt like an experience of living in New York as opposed to a hotel room which was great. The door people were all so lovely and made a great welcome each time I came home. Had everything I needed for a 2 week stay to make it incredibly comfortable. The rooftop was beautiful (especially in the snow). I didn’t love that anyone can access any floor of the building simply due to safety concerns but it was reassuring knowing someone was on the door at all times. The shower was not the best as it was like a hose and sprayed water all over the place

• Alvaro (8/5): Great place to stay, satisfied my expectations. - Location because it is close to gran central terminal and that is has everything you need within the facilities. Staff answers very quickly through the Sonder App, really helpful. The keycode to access my room never worked so I had to carry a key everywhere I went. Also in the first day the wifi was not working so I had to wait one day before Sonder fixed it. The room was too dark for us, we recommend adding at least one light bulb in the center of the bedroom.
• Mary (4/5): Wish I had passed on this property and stayed in a proper hotel. - The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was desperately in need of new floor tiles and a new door. Floor was very dirty- door warped from water. The wood floor throughout the apt are very badly scuffed with black marks. The furniture is worn. It’s simply not fresh and clean. I survived one night but could not stay any longer. Hallways are dark and dreary. The pics shown make it look sunny and clean but the windows are filthy - only the bedding was greasy and clean.
