Guest Reviews
- Serena (6/5): - I may have missed it in the description but the door to your room is on the road so it felt a bit less safe than a normal hotel but the area itself felt safe and it was the cheapest room in the whole of Milan for my stay so worth it. 10 mins if that to the central station so the area is perfect. You only see the staff when they hand you the keys. They were polite. Due to the price I would stay here again but if it went up I’d stay in a normal hotel.
- Sophie (2/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, we had a number of issues, the room door is directly on the pavement which is not shown or described, also will not give a refund even though we specified it was not safe to stay, due to the road situation and also that the bathroom had a hole in the ceiling with exposed wires and heating pipes and the shower was having work done to
- Ryan (2/5): - We paid extra for air condition and the air condition never worked. It turned on and then shut back off so we spent the night in 90° heat.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bitterly disappointed - Well to start with not what you expect, property separate to reception so there no help after 6pm. Theres no general wash products in the room, floors were dirty, shower falling apart, hole in the ceiling and just overall a poor finish on the property. A bitterly disappointing experience.
- Hugo (8/5): - Everything was good , the room is not what i expecte, it was surprising for me , but it worked very well and had close some busses and metro transportation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No frills stay - We booked this very last minute, so the room did everything we needed. It’s a great location, walking distance to Centrale and M1 Metro. Useful supermarkets and cafes near by. Check in was very easy.
The images don’t truly reflect the state of the room. It was clean, but there were exposed light sockets, tiles falling off the wall and taped over in the bathroom, and broken door handles. Not a sophisticated stay, but a comfy bed and warm shower. It’s located in what seems to be an old shop front or garage. There’s large doors that open onto the pavement, straight into the bedroom. We were recommended to put down the shutter all the time. No issues, fairly quiet at night considering location.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad experience - Our stay was not pleasant at all.
1) Wifi not working, the lady called some people. It was a 40 min waiting, finally it was OK.
2) The bathroom ceiling was broken, a big hole over the sink and there was black mold on it. This is a health hazardous and harmful to our health. A deal breaker!
3) There were electric wires hanging near the mirror with metal lead exposed. People can get executed if touching it. Another deal breaker!
4) There was no shampoo.
5) The hair dryer couldn't be used because the electric socket couldn't hold the plug of the hair dryer.
6) There was no heat. The overnight temperature was only 45 degrees Fahrenheit, and it was cold.
7) There was no quilt either. All we had were just the bed sheet and sheet cover.
8) Bathroom faucet was loosen.
This kind of room should not be used at all until all the issues are fixed. We asked the reception lady to assign another room but she said she didn't have any room left. She said she would process some kind of refund. But three days later we were told they would not issue any refund, not even an email apologizing the incidence.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was in good location and good value for money, customer service isn’t really existent during whole stay had no communication with hotel you just follow instruction which I actually preferred as everything ran smoothly and no long check in or check out, as it’s more like a unit that you pick up keys from a box that you go into rather than an actual hotel which personally I liked. The only thing I’d say is the room did require some basic maintenance such as door handles loose and tiles need fixing.
- Gianluca (8/5): - Tutto bene
- Aline (6/5): - The room itself was great! Clean, tidy and comfy. No complaints about the room itself. The staff is a little unresponsive. It took me days to get in touch with them on our first contact on whatsapp. They say on the add the check in is only until 6pm, but they actually have a late self check in as an option which has to be arranged by whatsapp only. I found out that the room was actually an old store, on the same level as the sidewalk on the day before when the staff sent me the instructions for the self check in. She was helpful and the instructions were very clear, but i thought i little concerned that the room was not actually in a building. When my mom and i got there, at night time, it was a little sketchy and unsafe, but I walked around to find some food after checking in, and it didn't feel unsafe anymore. There are 3 restaurants on the street open till late at night where you can find food if needed. Unfortunately, when my mom and I went to bed, around 10 pm, we hear someone knocking our door and trying to opening it. We were scared to death. Someone kept doing that for about 10 minutes, and we didn't know what to do. After 20 mins, i turn off all the lights and the room, and shut the metal door outside, and it was gone. I couldn't sleep until 1am cause I was so scared that someone will come again. The staff had given to me an emergency number to call, but i didn't wanna bother. Overall, my experience was average for the price we paid.
- Gianluca (8/5): - Tutto bene
- Valerica (2/5): Don't stay here. There is no service. - This cannot be called a hotel. Reception cannot be reach if you have an issue. They should at least have someone just in case there is an issue.
I did not stayed overnight and I will not recommend for solo female travellers is not safe. Even hotels.com agents were not very helpful in assisting me.
If you loose your key on Friday evening, no one will answer your call and if unfortunately you get locked out without phone or card, you will sleep in the street as there is absolutely no one.
- Alissa (8/5): - It was great, the receptionist was really lovely and there are nice restaurants in the street. The room was very clean and modern but a bit noise.
- Walter (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The actual "front desk" for this place is across the street from where the room is. The room is a store front with a metal gate in front of glass doors. The gate could roll up if you tired to lift it, the glass door had a lock. This place is a 12 minute walk from Milan Central.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Shady liars of the night - This by far was the worst place to book. They called me to nake sure i was going to check in. It was late at night. I told them i had just gotten out of airport and on a bus to the city, but i Would Be There! They acknowledged this, and said ir would be 20 euros+ because it was late and i had no problem with it. SO. I get their with my 61 year old mother, walking around at midnight looking for this place. There is no sign. And the area could not have been more ghetto. Dark, dirty, creepy. Graffity everywhere. Not at all nice like it was advertised. I called the numbers, and nothing worked. Thank god a restaurant was open! They confirmed that the place had nobody in it. And that this had HAPPENED BEFORE! SEVERAL TIMES! So we were helped by some people at the restaurant to find a room at 1am and it was very very very scary. Like, pushed a desk against the door, lights on, leave at 6am. 70 euros cash only.
In conclusion, if i would have known about their reputation, i would have gone anywhere else. But don't claim a 24 hour reception. I went to a hotel the next day that was indeed 24 hours! Didn't get my money back either from them. So GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
- Mario (4/5): - I would recommend to do something with this massive shop windows as honestly this is sticking inside your head that the place isn’t safe. Also the noise from outside is outrageous, you can’t sleep at all. The only thing we liked was the standard of the room which was good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The couple who managed that place went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.
