Non si potevano né aprire per uscire sul terrazzo né chiudere per escludere il freddo della notte e i rumori. Abbiamo provato a chiedere aiuto ma non abbiamo ricevuto Nessuna assistenza. Di corsa abbiamo dovuto cercare altra sistemazione (notte di Pasqua). Il proprietario ha evitato di rispondere alla nostra richiesta di rimborso. Risultato? 700 euro buttati per una notte e week end rovinato.

We didn’t love the elevator not working half the time, the fact that we had no idea we had to set up a mosquito spray and got eaten alive by them. They buzzed in our ears. We barely slept and could hear showers running in other rooms. The woman at the front wasn’t friendly whatsoever when I told her of the issue. Told me “this is Florence”. We’re not from Florence, we didn’t know there would be a severe mosquito issue in our room for three nights. We’re covered in bites. She did not care.

We had to phone a number of times and eventually were let in by another guest. Each day were told they were not able to offer breakfast and that we should go to the cafe instead. Extremely dissapointing.
• Andrea (6/5): - Pri príchode sme sa nevedeli dozvoniť, nikto neotváral asi 10 minút, ani sa nedalo dovolať na uvedený kontakt. Stalo sa to aj ďalším ubytovaným, ktorým sme boli nakoniec otvoriť. Inštrukcie neboli dostatočne vysvetlené, systém príď na to sám. Raňajky až o ôsmej (dosť chýbala zelenina a ovocie), personál nebol ochotný servírovať ani o 15 minút skôr. Šálky na izbe po použití ostali neumyté.

• Björn (8/5): We had a great and overall very positive experience and will recommend the B&B. - Very nice room. Great location. Walking distance to everything a Tourist might want to see and enjoy in Florence. Our room for max. 3 had a great balcony and view over Florence. Entry of building in front of elevator could be taken better care of. Elevator should function better. Very often it just went until floor 4 instead of floor 5 where hotel is located. Remote Check-in via phone when we arrived was more complicated than in classic hotel with 24/7 reception.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet.Die Betten waren bequem.Das Bad hatte eine Regendusche. Im Zimmer war ein Wasserkocher samt Teebeutelsortiment und Kaffee. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, in einem gemütlichen, hellen Raum mit toller Aussicht. Ich habe es geliebt ! Die Parkplatzsituation war nicht gut.Wir haben im nahegelegenen Parkhaus geparkt für 80Euro für 2 2 Nächte. Der Aufzug in den 5.Stock war für uns nicht vertrauenswürdig, aber er hat funktioniert.

Escasas medidas de seguridad, personal inexistente. La calefacción nunca funcionó. Teníamos la habitación al lado de la cocina por tanto nos despertaron todos los días a las 7:30 de la mañana como si fuera tu madre pasando la aspiradora en fin de semana.

• Mark (10/5): The Attico is a real hidden gem and well worth the money. - The property sits just outside the centrico district where all the major tourist attractions will be found. We saw this as a benefit as there was little noise. The apartments are found on the fifth floor and enter is through a secured front door, then a relative small lift or flights of stairs. The rooms were clean and value for money. Plenty of hot water and amazing views across the city landscape. We had 501 & 502. 501 was the bigger and had the best views. We felt all the amenities with both rooms were of good standards. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. There was no milk supplied to go with the coffee and tea, but if you ask the host, she will be happy to supply some, or do what we did and pop round to the coop, 50 yards round the corner. Also, the Wi-Fi was temperamental, with it dropping out at random times, but it certainly didn’t affect our holiday.

Βρισκόταν σε τέλεια γειτονιά, δίπλα σε μπαράκια που συχνάζουν οι ντόπιοι, κάτι που έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμα πιο αυθεντική. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικό και η Cristina ήταν πραγματικά φοβερή και πολύ φιλόξενη. Μακάρι να μπορούσα να έρχομαι κάθε εβδομάδα! Ειλικρινά δεν υπήρξε τίποτα που να μην μας άρεσε!! κάποιος θα έπρεπε να είναι πολύ στριμμένος για να βρει κάτι αρνητικό!

Il divano letto è rotto, ho contatto tramite messaggi la struttura o avvisato la reception la mattina presto a colazione ma non hanno fatto niente abbiamo dormito con sedie posizionate sotto il divano letto sfondato.

• Oliveira (9/5): De uma forma geral posso dizer que a relação custo benefício é interessante. - A limpeza. O elevador… em algumas situações ao regressar ao imóvel, já dentro do elevador, apertava pra subir para o quinto piso e ele não subia. Então, era necessário sair e chamar pelo Interfone, somente assim o botão do quinto piso era habilitado. A meu ver isto não é prático.

• Jacqueline (9/5): - We are from the USA and The B&B Attico was a good place to stay in Florence. It is close to many activities, it is a 20 minute walk to many main attractions, which is perfect in Florence. Room was clean, modern and the attached patio to our room was splendid too! We watched many sunsets from the patio, highly recommend it. The room had blankets, pillows, towels, a mini fridge and ample hangers. Breakfast was what we needed, hard boiled eggs, cappuccinos, juice, a selection of cured meats, bread, pastries, and fruit. It does not look like a "typical" hotel when the taxi pulled up, it is a single door with a sign to confirm you are at the right place (this was a little different for us being from America). Also, you cannot have rental cars in this area of Florence, taxi's, buses or walking are how you get around. Once you arrive the B&B is on the top floor, we took the stairs to locate where the rooms are. There is an elevator but can't access it until you have the access card. Contact the front desk by phone during the day for them to help with this. Would recommend to stay here! Directions on how to get in the building and location of the B&B once inside the building.

• Petra (9/5): Für uns war sie ideal, ruhig abseits der Touristenströme und dennoch in einer belebten Gegend. - Der Cafe war sehr gut, da es eine Auswahl gab und er frisch zubereitet wurde. Unser Zimmer war herrlich ruhig, Tag und Nacht. Es gibt nur 5 Zimmer insgesamt, daher war es auch im Frühstücksraum, der direkt vor unserem Zimmer lag, sehr ruhig. Frisches Brot wäre fein, nach dazu gibt es einen Bäcker gegenüber. Eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer bei der Ankuft wäre ein grosses Plus. Man kommt meist müde und durstig an.
