Am Abreisetag gab es einen Feueralarm und Stromausfall. Leider haben wir in der Hektik eine Sportuhr auf dem Zimmer liegen lassen. Wir haben im Hotel angerufen und mehrfach Mails geschrieben, ohne Reaktion. Sehr schade.
- Jordan (8/5): It was very memorable - The location is great, the staff is really nice. Check in is almost 24 hours a day. So you can book last minute at night and show up near midnight and still check in. The hotelrooms are very clean and nice. 7 eleven a short 3 minute walk. And an even bigger one a bit further as well. They knew of a scheduled power outtage in the whole neighbourhood but did not mention it to the guests of the hotel. Instead we rushed outside due to a fire alarm going off. Their breakfast is not good value. They have a breakfast menu. But they have a seperate breakfast menu with two options that are not good at all.

There was a lift, thank goodness. The bathroom was big enough. No one helped us with our suitcases upon arrival and English was limited. The decor of the room was non existent. - Jana (1/5): - Booking.com cancelled one of our reservations just hours before arrival—well into the check-in window—despite us booking three months in advance. We only found out upon arrival, where we witnessed several other guests facing the exact same issue. The worst part was the unreachable customer service and their refusal to compensate us properly. They offered a meager €25 for leaving us to sleep on the floor for a night, effectively ruining our group holiday since we were forced to move to a different hotel. They didn't even offer help finding alternative accommodation, claiming they would compensate us afterward, only to later refuse because it was NYE. Since our arrival was after midnight, it was impossible to book a new place for that date. A customer service representative promised to cover one of our upcoming nights, but the company later reneged on that promise. We spent approximately €60 on international calls and received only €25 in return—not to mention the hours wasted explaining the situation to five different agents. I previously had good experiences with Booking, but it's clear that customers no longer matter to them. I asked the agent: Which department can I contact to request the records of our phone calls? These recordings would prove they promised full compensation before backpedaling. They replied it is not possible. Save yourself the stress: book directly through the hotel or use another provider.

Pour nous une des trois chambres a eu moins de chance avec le voisinage. Pour le reste c’est très correct vu l’offre booking que nous avons eu avec un tarif super. Cependant à notre arrivée, la première chose que la dame nous dit c’est que booking a annulé des réservations, elle n’a pas cherché mon nom avant même de m’annoncer ça. J’avais vu les commentaires récents mais nous avions réservé depuis septembre déjà. Je lui dis que je n’ai rien reçu puis elle a finit par regarder sur son ordinateur et pour nous c’était bon la réservation était là. D’autres n’ont pas eu cette chance les jours suivants. Je conseille de ne pas réserver par booking dans le doute. Est-ce aléatoire ? Ou bien s’ils estiment que l’offre que vous avez reçu est trop basse pour eux ? On ne le saura jamais. À la suite de ça le reste de notre séjour c’est bien passé et le personnel était agréable.

After 30h flying and arriving there exhausted, at 22:00 pm they told us it was a mistake with the system and we are fully booked. Without any other explanation. They didn't know English, didn't give us money back or help us to find something to sleep. So we had to pay 4 times more for a room that night. Very unprofessional, rude and unpolite.

- Florian (1/5): - Rien Comment dire : on attend toujours la réponse à nos messages pour savoir s'ils ont une navette pour venir nous chercher à l'aéroport. Le personnel très antipathique, nous ignoraient complètement , n'ont donné aucune explication a l'arrivée, horaires petit déjeuner qui celui ci d'ailleurs était infâme et a mis plus de 45 minutes à être servi, dire où çà ce passe, des infos sur le lieu etc. Leur seul souci, c'est de prendre la caution pour la clé. Niveau chambre, zéro isolation phonique, donc on est pas dans la même chambre que le voisin, mais presque, bruit de la rue et des voisins, bref on a pas beaucoup dormi. Donc, à éviter si vous pouvez. Heureusement que l'on a vu une autre face de la Thaïlande avec une population très chaleureuse.

Un grand bureau et des rangements. Personnel agréable. Comme souvent en Asie, même dans les hôtels de qualité, la salle de bain est ainsi conçue que vous inondez le sol en vous lavant… Il manque des tables de nuit et des lumières tamisées pour le soir.

- Eunique (1/5): NEVER STAY HERE! TOURIST TRAP! RUN! - This hotel is a tourist trap! The create ridiculous charges upon check out, even the manager said “I think it’s ridiculous and outrageous too, I’m not sure why but it’s company policy”. I was quoted almost the price of the room in extra charges until I refused and then somehow the manager dropped the charges by more than half. Everyone checking out at the same time as us seemed to be going through the same thing. You could cut the tension at reception with a knife. It’s best to avoid this place at all costs, luckily I only stayed for a night. Hotel is infested with mosquitos (they had to change my beddings when I checked in because a massive mosquito surrounded by a pool of blood was stuck to the sheets) but make sure you don’t get mosquito repellent on anything or you’re getting charged.

- Twyed (10/5): Excellent Stay! - Ayden who checked me in is exceptional. My flight was severely delayed and I arrived at 3am exhausted and hungry. He really went above and beyond and told me if they didn’t take my credit card that he was going to lend me his own cash! Junior was also just such a great receptionist when I had to change rooms! I personally found none of the issues stated a thing. But I have custom made ear plugs which I think every traveler should not live without!The location is 8 minute walk to BTS, one train stop away from iconsiam, 10 minutes bts away from all the top five star hotels in Bangkok, and it’s located in a quiet, authentic Thai neighborhood where all the locals smile at me and say hi, next to insanely gorgeous cafes springing out of nowhere like old school speciality cafe and gorgeous food like Jeera Kitchen. Pricing is unbeatable at 15usd per night! I’ve stayed in countless hotels inside Bangkok and it’s just overwhelming and I never enjoyed it and would always leave Bangkok within a day or two before heading to the beach. this is the first time I am really enjoying Bangkok and actually wanting to do more than just a couple days! To me this authentic experience and quiet neighborhood beats busy streets of Bangkok anytime!

- Charles (7/5): Cozy rooms with paper thin walls - Rooms were reasonably comfortable and clean. And extremely affordable however... Zero soundproofing. You can clearly hear every last action of your guest next door; be it them coughing, spitting, snoring, sighing, etc. It has the unique sensation of sharing an accommodation with someone else. Earplugs highly recommended if you want to sleep in peace.

- Chang (6/5): Rooms are not sound-proof - Clean rooms. Affordable breakfast. Many 711 nearby. Sound-proofness was a big issue. We easily heard chatters and footsteps from the hallway. We could even hear the footsteps from upstairs and the sound of toilet flushing and showering from upstairs. The worst part was that we were placed in one of the double suite rooms. There was a door separating two rooms in the suite but the other room belongs to others. One night the other guest attempted to open the door and we heard sounds from that room easily. Hard to sleep at night. Also the hotel was tugged in a very local area with winding and narrow streets. Felt kind of out of place whenever we had to walk along the very local streets as tourists to the main roads.

- J3168TBjosephm (10/5): Excellent Hotel with Great Hospitality - The ExCapital is a beautiful boutique hotel, relatively new and located in a convenient location. Exceptional friendly, efficient and supportive front office members, made our stay very enjoyable. The entire hotel is extremely clean, and house keeping did an excellent job of keeping our room spotless. The rooms are large and well designed. The air conditioning is very quite, strong and easy to control. Bed and pillows, very comfortable. The water pressure is strong. There is a 24/7 laundromat nearby and the BTS, transit is approximately 6 minutes walk from the hotel. The “ExCapitol Hotel” met all of our expectations. We enjoyed our long stay tremendously, and will be returning in February for another two weeks. We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we look forward to our return visit. Sincerely, JMM

- Francisco javier (8/5): - No te explica donde está situado el hotel, bastante apartado de todo y metido dentro de un pequeño barrio con calles muy estrechas y pasajes peatonales sin luz por la noche.el hotel está bien pero si te hospedas en el ten en cuenta que siempre para llegar o salir tendrás que llamar un taxi o grab.puedes salir andando por los callejones de día aunque tardarás unos 10/15min hasta llegar a una principal y optar por coger metro o taxi.no hay nada de interés en esta zona si vienes a conocer bangkok

Staff was ok, but did not like that a 1000 baht was needed for room keys for the stay. Not sure why it was needed and had to be cash deposit for it. I did get it back when we checked out but now I have a 1000 baht left over and not knowing when I will be back.

Établissement récent, douche chaude et puissante, mais il manque ce petit quelque chose en matière de service à la clientèle qu’on trouve si souvent en Asie. À l’entrée dans la chambre, on est accueilli avec une longue liste de choses à payer si on le vole (jusqu’au téléviseur et au coffre-fort!), mais on rechigne à ajouter deux oreillers supplémentaires. Manque de petites attentions, comme le climatiseur directement sur le lit, une seule chaise sur le balcon et pas de déjeuner thaï inclus.
