Guest Reviews
- Irena (10/5): - Everything was perfect! Everything was perfect!
- Laura (6/5): In general great and very good value for money for a group . However just one or two minor improvements would have made - Huge , garden, character, Could be cleaner ….garden needed tidying ,
Suggest new pillows ALWAYS fit pillow protectors and mattress protectors for hygiene!
- Simone (2/5): OTTIMA PER GLI AMANTI DEL FREDDO!

- Laura Viviana (6/5): Good but I don’t repeat the experience - Is big and peaceful The property is beautiful but is not good maintained, the zancudos is crowded in the place and the bathroom in the mail room was really unpleasant
- Yolanda (7/5): -
- Agnieszka (9/5): Superb - Location is awesome - a few minutes walk to the Duomo, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful, with a great Trattoria in the same street and the local bakery round the corner.
Space is another big plus of the apartment- it's huge! And the three bathrooms meant a lot of comfort, and no fighting :)
Garden is very nice and cosy - in nice weather it's a perfect place to drink your coffee or dinner.
The place is really well equipped, I appreciated a lot of different pots and utensils in the kitchen.
Generally, the place offers a nice mixture of Vintage (it is an old apartment in an even older buliding!!!) and Modern - and has huge potential. As the building/apartment is old, it unfortunately shows, especially in the bathrooms. I appreciate it's not easy to get rid of mold in the walls etc, but I think shower curtains are easy and cheap to change, so it should be done more often.
The kitchen would also do with more light, (the lamp there gives only little light) , the more so that the window in the kitchen overlooks a wall.
- Judith (5/5): Passable - The size The property is generally tired looking and needs a lot of TLC
bathroom needs to be updated
More lighting in the kitchen
Garden needs care
Newer bedding and beds
- JEANETTE (2/5): - I would NOT rent this property again. Musty smell and very poor lighting. Master bedroom bath is like an RV bath, barely useable. Showers in other two baths were a challenge but useable - broken shower holder for one and hard to turn handle in other. Garden is unkept with rotting fruit attracting many bugs where we could not sit outside. No AC and you could not keep doors open because of the bugs. Mold in fridge and around sink questioned cleaning. Location was ok for us, but you have walk a lot. Checkin person knew nothing about the property. Not a comfortable place, We tried to make the best of it but it was overall a bad rental and was was not worth the price .
- Pamela (9/5): A very welcoming host and a beautiful apartment that was in a very good location for central Florence. - The property was a in an excellent location and it was very spacious and comfortable. The host provided a welcome gift of a bottle of Cava and water which was very much appreciated and a nice touch. We will definitely book it again when we return. We had a problem with mosquitos which was rectified quickly by the host supplying repellant. However, we felt it wouldn’t have been so bad if the garden had been weeded and looked after. We were also short of glasses which again was rectified but we found there was only 2 bowls available to eat from and one of those was found by emptying the supply of teabags and sugar, so a full set of crockery would have been useful. We did eat out most of the time but on the odd occasion we didn’t, it was a little difficult with breakfast and desserts.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Roman (8/5): Very good - The location is great, close to train station and the city center.
PRIVATE PARK!
Many rooms and beds High humidity
"Unstable" beds, I think the beds are needed to be replaced with something more firm
But private park, when you can take a break with cup of tea after a lot of day walking, is worth everything!
So we recommend this apartment for sure!
- Alida (9/5): In this apartment you will meet the real Italy, the queen of art and good food. - The location is great.
It is the strict center of the old town. Lots of art, buildings, restaurants and interesting cafes nearby. Everything was just fine.
