• Juan Alejo (3/5): Pésima Atención al cliente - Hay muchas cosas que no me gustaron. Claramente la calidad del hotel y su servicio dejan ocho que desear. Al llegar a la habitación, me encuentro con que el inodoro no andaba, tuve que quejarme 5 veces y aun asi no lo reparaban ni me ofrecían otra habitación. Lejos de solucionar el problema, dejaron el botón del desagote despegado de la pared para que yo meta la mano dentro de la pared y lo solucione cada vez que no anduviera. Por otro lado, el jacuzzi exterior tampoco se podía usar. El tapón estaba roto y no se podía llenar para usarlo. Otro tema realmente molesto es el uso de los espacios en común. Tres de los cinco días que estuve en el hotel, me sacaron de la zona de piletas que escogí para estar ya que se iba a realizar una boda, una sector del hotel por el que yo ya había pagado. No solo no me dejaron disfrutar de esa pileta, sino que una vez que te echan de ese sector, es imposible encontrar una reposera y mucho menos una sombrilla para tener un poco de sombra, y eso que el hotel tenia tan solo una ocupación del 70%. Otro tema importante, y el cual me resultaba muy molesto, era que los mozos tardaban mucho en traerte la bebida a la mesa. Pidas lo que pidas de beber, llegaba casi cuando estabas terminando de comer.
• Leona (6/5): We had a good time at the wedding. We will not be coming back! - The outside was beautiful and the main entrance and surrounding areas were pristine. When I got there the guy taking the reservations made us feel like we would not be able to enjoy the full experience with the wedding party because we’re on the family side. We paid extra for the adult side and Majestic Clubs that we didn’t even use. This is our 4th time going to Cancun and this venue is extremely over priced. The room needed deep cleaning the floors weren’t properly swept and it had mold spores on the bathroom walls. The couch was rough, and both the couch and chairs needed to be steamed clean. We enjoyed hot water one night of the stay. All other days shower water was warm damn near cold. The food was ok. I’ve had better at other resorts.

The food was delicious. The room was phenomenal. I HIGHLY recommend booking the Elegance Club due to the perks that come with it. Katia was my butler and she went above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant. The entertainment and vibes were amazing! Nothing!

• Laura (10/5): A paradise in a great location - We have visited many hotels all over the world, but Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is one of the best, a really outstanding place. It's organized very well, and it's impressive how the staff is able to efficiently manage so many customers and so many restaurants and activities. We definitely plan to come back! Our room (number 5423) was amazing, with a private terrace and a jacuzzi, so we could have a hydromassage after the beach, and it was great. The bed is large and very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, with the area including the washbasins and a bath tub being part of the room, and only wc and shower behind closed doors. The room also include a very nice big wardrobe, a sofa in a corner near a big window, a balcony, and a small area with fridge, coffee machine and table. Practically an apartment with an amazing ocean view, so we really hope to be able to book the same room when we come back. The cleaning is perfect, and there are different staff people for maintenance, for refilling drinks and snacks, and for ensuring fresh towels aee always available - we really want to thank these people because they do a great job and they are friendly and competent. The resort has 7 restaurants, and we could not decide which one is better. The breakfast is delicious, with a huge variety of different plates, all wonderful - salads, fresh fruit, mexican dishes, sweets, eggs...whatever one can hope to find, it's there, and in generous amounts. Also dinner is great, one can choose among several options and all of them are great. Every day and evening several activities are organized, for example we had the chance to attend very good shows ranging from jazz concerts to magic shows, we really had a nice time. As mentioned, everything is good and we found nothing we could complain about. Maybe some extra could be offered as part of some packages at a lower price, for example haircuts or massages are expensive, I would maybe use more of these extras if offered for example at a reduced price in some offers, like the one of the Club, but it's just an example.

They are now over booking and then transferring people to their other resort without an option. They call it an upgrade, it is not.

Franchement, tout était au rendez-vous pour passer de superbes vacances. Un immense merci à notre majordome Jorman, qui a clairement fait toute la différence. Il a été absolument exceptionnel : d’une gentillesse rare, toujours disponible, très réactif au moindre petit souci et toujours avec le sourire. Il a su régler rapidement chaque demande, nous conseiller parfaitement pour nos excursions et surtout être présent du début à la fin de notre séjour, de notre arrivée jusqu’au check-out. Un vrai professionnel passionné par son travail. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et agréables. L’hôtel en lui-même est magnifique et l’ambiance très agréable. Nous avons également trouvé le personnel globalement très gentil, disponible et chaleureux. Mention particulière pour Xiunnel, qui a été d’une gentillesse remarquable et une très belle rencontre humaine. Le ménage manquait parfois de rigueur, notamment le changement des draps qui n’a pas été fait au bout du 5ᵉ jour avant que nous le signalions. Heureusement, Jorman a réglé cela rapidement. Deux membres du personnel (Lili et Heyder) ont été désagréables à notre égard. Cela a été signalé au majordome. Mis à part ces deux personnes, le reste du personnel était irréprochable.

• James (9/5): We took another couple with us to experience the Majestic and they loved minus the mishaps. - Our personal guide (Te-Te) was outstanding and very personal when it came to everything we needed. This was our 2nd stay at this property and I feel the service is always good but the rooms are not up to standards in my opinion. The room was hot even with the a/c on. While showering the water came from the shower and flooded the bathroom and face bowl area. We had to place bath towels on the floor to absorb the water so we could use the the sinks. The couple we brought with us loved the experience of Majestic but the ceiling in their rest room fell in and they had to be moved to another room. I felt the accommodations should have been a upgrade for the inconvinence but it did not happen.

• Edgar (10/5): I chose not to upgrade to their premier club, the front desk upgraded us for free anyways and for our next trip I’ll mak - Staff is very kind and extremely accommodating, food is fantastic and baristas were very quick. I wish the bathrooms were a bit more closed off to our room, the doors were also a bit too small for the bathroom.

The food was lovely in all the restaurants especially the A la carte and we are foodies. My son loved the volleyball. The sky pool was amazing. Some of the coktails weren't great especially the ones from the swim up bar by our room.

• Dmitry (10/5): The Best Relaxing Vacation Ever - We stayed in the Elegance Club Swim Up suite with an outdoor jacuzzi located in the adults-only area. This was the best experience we have had so far. Everything met the highest standards. The suite offered a private swimming pool with direct access to the main pool, high-quality complimentary drinks at the bars, a terrace, and a large, extremely comfortable bed. The resort also featured excellent restaurants, a wide selection of delicious dishes for breakfast and lunch, and engaging evening shows. All of these elements combined to make our vacation truly unforgettable.

I also really liked the service from the waiters, concierge and room service. The breakfast and lunch could be better as they were just standard buffets. Most of the good food options on the resort only started during dinner.

• Kevin (5/5): Not our best visit - The location and resort is beautiful and the food is good for resort food. Service staff is always top notch- this was our 4th time visiting this resort. We did not get the room that we booked because they had some sort of ‘maintenance’ issue. Most likely they just overbooked and didn’t have the room that we had reserved so that was frustrating. We also had staff attempt to show our room to other guests while we staying in the room- bizarre and a complete invasion of privacy. I was also turned away from one of their casual restaurants for wearing “flip flops”- mind you I was wearing Birkenstock style sandals that I’ve worn many times. When I returned with heeled shoes we saw tons of guests wearing actual flip flops and sneakers dining at the restaurant. This visit was not great after 3 previous fantastic visits.
• Gabriella (5/5): MEH. - The choice of restaurants included in the all inclusive were top notch! So many options especially for dinner! Some* of the staff were great like Ricardo at the pool as entertainer! The rooms were comfortable and good size. The infinity pool in adults only was great spot and the beach was breathtaking! We booked a room with 18+ in the title. Only to find out this didn’t grant us any access to adults only sections of the hotel. The staff at check in were extremely rude and unwilling to help or show empathy. Particularly Eric one of the managers. My boyfriend organised a romantic meal set up, the set up was late and it ruined the surprise. No ownership was taken by the hotel or apology. Ordered room service one day, it never turned up. Ordering food at the Italian and the order never came out correct. Also on the last day I was given a dish with nuts in it, after making sure they knew of my allergy. When I tried to ask someone, they even denied it did have nuts in it even though I could see them. Again no apology, nothing. Considering this could have sent me to hospital hours before my flight, I think that’s pretty appalling. (See images!) The room wasn’t in the best condition, needed a leak fixing one day, cracked tiles etc. The all inclusive was great, however house rose wine and Prosecco wasn’t drinkable in my opinion. The other strange thing we noticed: 1. there were no options of getting lunch by the pool. There were plenty of options but you had to go sit in a restaurant. I assumed a hotel like this would do a small poolside menu. 2. There was no nice outside bar to go to in the evening. Most people drank in the lobby which I found odd. The outside space was set up like a theatre for the entertainment but no options for a nice outside bar! The feeling we had by then end was we just wanted to get out, which was a real shame. Feels like the hotel is far more concerned about getting every dime out of you, rather than customer satisfaction.

• Miguel (7/5): Goede reis, maar kijk goed welke kamer je boekt - Ruime kamer met comfortabel bed en jacuzzi op terras, mexicaans restaurant was top, en zonder reservatie te betreden. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met showcooking. Personeel doet heel harf hun best en altijd met een glimlach. Kamer was 18plus, maar toch niet in adults only gedeelte waardoor je heen recht hebt op de faciliteiten van de adultsonly club. Dit stond niet goed aangegeven bij boeking en je voelt je een beetje tweederangsgast. Cocktails zeer waterig of te straf. Elke dag trouwfeesten, maar de hinder was al bij al beperkt. Als je excursies boekt word je opgehaald boor het restaurant open is en er is geen optie ontbijt/lunchpaket mee te nemen tenzij je in adultsonly zit (roomservice). Argentijns restaurant was heel populair maar viel hard tegen voor ons kwa smaak van gerechten.
• ashley (5/5): Alright - When I arrived to two restaurants the staff told me I could not enter because of my footwear. I was wearing nice heels that matched my outfit and looked completely appropriate for the setting. They said my shoes were considered beach sandals even though they clearly were not. What made the situation worse was that I saw several white guests being allowed in with actual beach sandals and very casual footwear. No one stopped them and no one questioned what they were wearing. It felt unfair and humiliating to be turned away while others who were not held to the same standard were welcomed right in.

Mucha demora en los restaurantes (45 minutos para que llegue el primer plato (entrada)), el aseo de la habitación era regular, dejaban cosas a medio hacer, nunca repusieron el agua (todos los días tuvimos que llamar para esto). Nos impresionó que no estaban preparados para la cantidad de personas que habían.

Wife got ecoli and she has been in an out of emergency. Just started eating solid food Nov 20th. We are healthy and this ruined what was supposed to be a romantic get away with no kids. She has missed 10 days E-coli was confirmed by lab

We were there for a wedding. When the wedding was over the reception was outside. Apparently they painted the bar right before the reception. My dress got paint all over it. The photographer took a picture and said she would let them know. Didn’t hear from anyone next day I talked to someone else they said they would see what they would do never heard back. Next day they said they were sorry. It wasn’t a little paint it was the whole bottom of my dress about 3ft up and all the way across. I am very disappointed.
