The location is amazing with many restaurants, entertainment avenues, and shops within walking distance. Pros for the hotel are that the rooms are updated, clean, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and as stated previously the location can't be beat. Cons - We had to pay a Resort Fee even though we did not have time to enjoy any, the overnight parking is quite expensive, and drop your bags before you park because it's a hike back from the parking lot (uphill). Overall I had a great experience and would love to come back for either business or pleasure.

There is nothing quite like coming back to a freshly made bed and a clean room every day! On-site Dining: A significant mismatch in quality. The food is low quality, unhealthy (oily), and overpriced, which can be a major inconvenience for travelers relying on hotel convenience. The market place is a great option to have on the hotel premises. It's a quick go to place for snacks and coffee. Liked it. If you are still there or planning a return trip, find some better local gems nearby for lunch/dinner to save your taste buds (and your wallet).

- MsHellfire (10/5): Good stay - This was a leisure stay for me and while the property felt quite corporate/business like, it was an excellent stay. Check in was relatively efficient and the lady was very nice. My favorite part was my multiple spa visits. Unfortunately the spa was closed for a private event on the day that was most preferable for me to schedule treatments but I still managed to fit in a couple of massages and a facial. Julie and Stella were excellent and I am so grateful for the $99 promotions. The executive lounge was a little light on selection/variety, even by US hotel standards but was serviceable. Many of the staff were nice but the evening staff were not particularly friendly or warm. I wish that dessert was served at 7pm rather than 8pm. I went for dinner at the Japanese place which was easy to walk into just after opening time on a Friday night. The food was good and the server was nice but she forgot to bring my drink order and I was really looking forward to trying the Japanese soda. I also went for dessert at the diner and received very good service. I am returning to Orlando in September and will be trying to decide whether to return here or try the Grand Cypress.

Has a Lynx bus and iTrolley stop in front of hotel so very accessible to go around the main attractions in Florida. Breakfast is not part of the hotel booking. No bidet no rubber slippers with coffee tea and toiletries.

The lounge was stocked with delicious snacks and drinks. Shout out to Briana (front desk manager) who managed my reservation. She made sure every detail and request was taken care of. I can’t wait to come back to this beautiful hotel.

It's the kind of hotel that is so big with so many amenities you wanna never leave and you kinda forget that one of the biggest tourist cities in America is right outside the hotel LOL. I was amazed at how friendly the staff is, from the front desk to the valet guys to the people working at the pool bar. I wish I could literally live here until I die. It's HEAVEN.

Late bite and beverage at Rocks, great end to the evening. Housekeeping second to none. I had brought my own bar of soap, placed it on the back edge of the tub, housekeeping picked it up, cleaned under it and put it back in place. Room look sparkling each night when I got in.
- Matt-n-AshleySmith (8/5): Very Convenient for Events at the OCCC - Stayed for 2 nights for an event at the OCCC. Very good location with bridge accessing the west concourse. Unfortunately, during my stay, the bridge was undergoing maintenance…but it is still a very short walk across the street so not too bad. The room we stayed in (1139 on 11th floor of Tower 1) was about what I expected from a conference hotel originally built in the 80s, but in fairness the room had been kept up and maintained well considering the age. I believe Tower 2 is the newer part of the hotel constructed around 2010 so I’m sure those rooms are nicer. It served the purpose well and I would stay here again for the convenience in the future. Parking is pricey ($56 for valet and $45 for self-parking + tax) but I suppose it’s not wildly out of range for the area around the convention center. There are a good number of elevators and they are fast so we didn’t wait very long which can be an issue at other large hotels I’ve stayed at. For those who might care (like my wife), during my stay (4/3-4/5/26) I found Coke products in the gift shop. Market (the grab and go food place) sells Pepsi products. I ended up walking to the Walgreens down the street to pick up a Diet Coke and later saw that the gift shop had it. The kids enjoyed the pool, which was surprisingly big and has a small water slide which I was impressed with considering the area where the hotel is located. Holding it back from a “5” would be the room (clean but slightly dated), the somewhat higher than market price for self parking, and the bridge to the convention center issue (not the fact it was closed but because the staff should have disclosed at check-in and ideally provided the best alternate routes. For what it’s worth, you can either cross the street or you can walk down inside the hotel—through its conference area—and then go up the far escalator to go out onto the pedestrian bridge which connects the west building to the north-south building. We were staying for an event in the west building so dragging items (in one of those Hulken bags) was easiest using the bridge…and less dangerous for one of my kids who doesn’t pay attention to traffic :-).

Unfortunately, we were charged "valet" fee for our self pay (which is crazy at $56/night-where else are we going to park?). Got charged for towels that we turned in. Our friends that stayed in another room also got charged for towels that I turned in for her. Feels like a scam. I went to check out at the desk to review checkout fees and was only emailed a receipt. So now I have to call and dispute this mess.

- Passenger51472925987 (2/5): Worst Hyatt Regency Experience I Have Ever Had - The suite I was given (Bld 1, Rm 1409) looked nothing like the photos on the website. The room smelled old and musty for the first three hours, felt large but also small at the same time, the ceiling had the old ugly popcorn texture, the carpet was dated, the furniture made no sense (and everything made me think it was an older room waiting to get renovated), there was a complete lack of decor, the bathroom door was badly scratched and the paint peeling, the light switches were in entirely the wrong places for what they were controlling, the shower sliding door would not remain closed, the shower handle plate wasn't secured to the wall so it moved a lot when turning the shower on and off. Room service was well below expectations at this price point, but at least the portions were big. However, the amount of waste from continuing to use this covid-era style room service delivery is horrible and is why I am giving a 0 for environmental sustainability efforts. At the price I paid for this room, I could have paid just slightly more to get a suite at the Conrad Orlando, and with my Amex Platinum benefits have a much nicer room and overall better experience. Which is what I will be doing next time. This was horrible.

The pool was fun, had a short pull that did the job for younger kids. The food was pretty good, market place for quick snacks was high but its a hotel so it's what you would expect. Could be a little cheaper considering the area is a longer stay location due to being in the disney/universal area. Overall great experience with staff and features. Nice room, no issues.

The location was fantastic and made going to and from the con seamless. It was pricey, but to us the convenience was worth it. There are many food options in the hotel as well, but not much for picky children. Front desk staff was super helpful as well - I thought I lost a pair of boots in the lobby and they were quick to help me try to locate them. Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely come back.

- leroyk (10/5): Redemption in Orlando - Years ago after a really bad experience I swore I would never stay at a Hyatt again. 20+ years later and several Hyatt stays later they have become part of my rotation. They have not lost their soul yet as several other larger travel companies seem to be credit card companies and hotel/airlines second. This hotel still delivers hospitality. Great room. Great staff. If you are attending a convention you cannot get any closer. Going to the parks the hotel is right in the middle of things. Want room service they still do that. I'll be back.

It's right across the street from both buildings and has a skywalk across the road that connects directly to both buildings. It's super clean. Classy. Plenty of restaurants, plus a 24 hour market (think convenience store but with fresh made salads and sandwiches, not gas station food).

But the piles of construction materials and an enormous number of propane tanks in the parking garage makes one pause and wonder what is going on? There are no workers…..but so many parking spaces are blocked off you spend frustrating amount of time looking for a parking space that costs you plenty! It must be a government operation. NEVER will I go there again

I was overcharged on my checkout bill and immediately reported it. To date no one has followed up which I now have to file a dispute on something that could have be quickly resolved.

When entering the lobby, it was open and spacious and we were quickly checked in. There was comfortable seating areas in the open spaces to relax. Great staff, nice pool, pool had many loungers, plenty of places to eat and a store for missing toiletries. Really appreciated the extra TV's set up to watch the Super Bowl. The waitress was very attentive and the food was great. The room was very spacious, had a wonderful view of the area, comfortable bed, and very clean. Maid service was great.

We didn’t use valet as we took an Uber, but valet was quite overwhelmed when we arrived. My only complaint is we had a $49 charge to our room at the gift shop that we definitely didn’t make, and it’s 4 days later and I’m still fighting with the hotel over the charge.

- charlesg126 (10/5): One Of My Favorite Hyatt Hotels - I am a Lifetime Globalist with Hyatt. and I have been a member of World Of Hyatt for 15 years. This Hyatt Regency is one of my favorite Hyatt hotels; and I have been to many of them around the world. It's ideally located in the center of the parks, restaurants, and entertainment. The hotel staff is very accommodative and always considerate of requests made, going the extra mile to ensure a great experience. It's our home away from home; even though we live in the Orlando area, we love a staycation at this Hyatt for all that it offers and such great experiences over the past 15 years. They have an exquisite, authentic Italian restaurant right at the hotel, and two pools. Tower 1 pool is less busy and more quiet, and Tower 2 pool is more adventurous. Whatever you like or want to do, Hyatt Regency International Drive is ideal for couples, families, groups, and especially for getaways.
- NatalieMI (10/5): Great place to stay for business or family - Great location especially if you are going to convention center. The Pointe and Icon Park are close walks with lots of restaurants, rides and entertainment. Every type of food you could want is within walking distance. A Publix is just a few miles away. There is a mini fridge and coffee bar area that is very useful. Rooms are clean. Marketplace inside Hyatt has a large variety of of great tasting food to go at good prices as well as Starbucks. Fun pool restaurant. Lots of other restaurants including one with games. Pool has a waterslide in a separate area and a jacuzzi and waterfall in another area.
