- Kevin (9/5): Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff - Upon arrival I found out this hotel is currently part of the Steigenberger Hotel. Being able to have breakfast, dinner and use of their pool during my stay was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and it was nice to have the little patio in front. The only way to get somewhere interesting was to take a taxi or shuttle bus. Unless you are willing to risk crossing 6 lanes of Egyptian traffic and climb a small wall to get to the GEM... For me this was a bit of a downer as I like to walk. Every time I would step out the gate I was surrounded with taxi drivers blocking my way and pretty much forcing me to ride with them. Offering “a very good price” that is about 3 to 5 times higher than in other parts of Giza. Of course I don’t blame the hotel for this, they were actually very helpful to find transportation with normal pricing.

- Stanislav (3/5): Подумайте декілька разів - Розташування навпроти музею та пірамід, але пішки ви не дійдете обовʼязково потрібно таксі. Стан готелю жахливий, басейн не відповідає картинці. Все дуже грязно, персонал дивний, лише покоївка була гарна та ввічлива. Всюди проводяться роботи по ремонту, готель сипиться, на охороні є сторожова собака, вона виглядає дуже погано, нам було дуже жалко цю собаку, вони могли б доглядати краще за нею. Охорона виглядала не ввічливо. Є багато мінусів, бо я не розумію, як готель отримав 5 зірок, він не відповідає 3 зіркам.

- sabine (5/5): Aufenthalt war sehr schön, toller Garten, Zimmer sehr alt! - Sehr, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter im gesamten Hotel!!!! Das Frühstück wurde im Steigenberger Pyramids eingenommen und das war einfach klasse. Die Gartenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt. Die Bausubstanz war in dem alten Gebäude mehr als alt. Das Hotel hatte bereits einige Vorbesitzer und anscheinend hat man von pfleglicher Behandlung noch nie etwas gehört. Wir hatten zwar in einem alten Häuschen ein Familienzimmer mit viel Platz, aber das Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung, alles funktionierte und das war schon erwähnenswert. Ich habe 2 Zimmer abgelehent und dann dieses Familienzimmer erhalten.

- abdulkreem (6/5): لن اعود مجدداً - موقع الفندق ممتاز مقابل للمتحف المصري الكبير الجديد ، السعر فقط الجيد من ناحيه المكان ظاهرياً المكان نظيف لكن واقعياً السرير كان مليان حشرات فراش، وسببت لي حساسيه شديده لدرجه اني لم استطيع النوم موظف الرسبشن الاول لم يقبل حجزي بعذر اني وصلت بعد الساعه 12 بعد منتصف الليل وقال لي ان ملغي ويجب التواصل مع بويكنق لاستعاده مبلغ الاقامه المدفوع كليا اصلا، طلبت من الاوتيل محول كهرباء (ادابتر) لكن لم يفوروه وطلبوا مني ان اشتريه بنفسي، الفندق قديم جدا جدا جدا لم يجدد من سنوات طويله

Then, using more lies, they claimed there was an additional person and demanded an extra 30 dollars, even though I already had two rooms. More fraud and deception.

- Patrick (3/5): Apart from the location, I cannot understand how this hotel has a 5* rating on Booking.com - Good - Location near the Giza pyramids (no other shops, restaurants are within walking distance), very close to the Grand Egyptian Museum, although the pedestrian underpass will need to open to enable visitors to cross the very busy main road between the hotel and the museum. The breakfast buffet at the Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel next door had plenty of choice, the WiFi was strong and the pool looked good too. Bad - Key cards kept failing necessitating a trip (on more than one occasion) to reception to get replacement swipe cards. the rooms are very dated, limited power outlets (none near the bed), noisy air-con, very poor TV reception. Ugly - Take a look at the bathroom photos, broken tiles, badly applied filler, very very worn bathtub, sink blocked as waste control would not release. I have stayed in better student digs.

- Raymond (7/5): Probably, this will become a good hotel; they need a sign and more helpfulness with arrivals! - Able to use facilities at nieghbouring Steigenburger Hotel. When we arrived, nobody helped with bags, staff were very cool, no sign outside the hotel so we went next door and had to come back. Initial impression - we made a big mistake! By the next day staff became more friendly.

Breakfast was AMAZING 💓💓💓 The showers went cold very fast so couldn't wash hair or even utilize the bath. The keys to the room weren't always working so had to keep getting lots of replacement keys

Tuve que ponerme pesado en recepción para que viniera alguien. Había obras al lado de la piscina principal del resort y no se podía disfrutar bien de la experiencia. - Stadsager (3/5): - Die Lage am Grand Egyptian Museum ist gut. Leider war das Museum 15-31.10 geschlossen Das alte Cairo Pyramids hotel wird renoviert und in Steigenberger Pyramids hotel integriert. In Cairo Pyramids sind fast alle Einrichtungen geschlossen und man muss teils über die Baustelle bis Steigenberger jedes Mal. Mein Zimmer war noch nicht renoviert und ziemlich runtergekommen
- Peter (3/5): One day point the enlarged Steigenberger will be nice, for now avoid the Cairo Pyramids. - Good location across the street from GEM (which unfortunately was closed ahead of the Grand Opening on Nov 1st). It's now part of the next door Steigenberger, where you take breakfast and dinner and can use their lovely looking pool. Having been taken over, work is ongoing to upgrade the VERY tired rooms and facilities; for now you're staying in a building site and its very noisy during the day. Hours of drilling and angle grinding makes an afternoon stay by the Steigenberger pool a nightmare (worse for the guests of that hotel as they paid rather more than we did!) Our room (1109) had air conditioning that didn't cool, a hairdryer that didn't heat, a broken shower holder, no shampoo or shower gel...

Die Lage ist perfekt für uns,da wir zum museum wolten und auch für unsere ägyptische befreundete Familie es eine super Lage ist um uns abzuholen. Es finden Bauarbeiten statt,die eigentlich nicht wirklich gestört haben. Ich würde mich freuen nächstes Jahr in den Genuss eines neuen Bungalows zu kommen. Aber ich sehe ein Problem, da es kein Angebot mit kostenloser Stornierung für nächstes Jahr gibt. Wie wolten nächstes Jahr mit einer größeren Gruppe Freunde kommen, aber da die Termine für Urlaub noch nicht wirklich feststellen, kann ich nicht fest buchen. Da werde ich mich gezwungen sehen, ein anderes hotel zu wählen. Alles wie immer perfekt

- Bruno (10/5): Perfect location and staff, with comfortable rooms and great food - The location is wonderful and the staff is very kind and helpful all the time. Room service is superb too. That’s my address every time I go to Egypt. Not specifically for the hotel, but the quality of internet signal in Egypt in general is not good.

- ADNAN YUSUF (9/5): - The hotel is located in Giza Region, near Pyramids. Grand Khufu Pyramid is visible from the Pool and Bar. Hotel Building and rooms in the main building is new built but there is smaller bungalow houses in the hotel complex. Giza Necropolis is like 5 mins from the hotel by taxi. And Grand Egyptian Museum, which is the largest museum in the world for a single civilization, is right next to the Hotel and is in 5 mins walking distance. Breakfast was maybe the best breakfast I've ever seen in an Hotel, it is an open buffet with a large menu from various cuisines. I can say that all rooms or restaurant inside the complex are luckily clear and there is daily room service provided by the Hotel management. Hotel stuff was extremely kind and caring. If I have to give some info, I have to say that breakfast is served between 7.00 and 10.30 and swimming in the pool is allowed between 12.00 to 19.00. Only thing that I didn't like was hot water problem. When I first came, there were only hot water in the room but when we get in contact with the Hotel stuff, they immediately fixed it while daily room service. But in fact, almost everything was excellent and I wrote all those things sincerely.

- Steve (4/5): Will be great when building works to get rid of the old bungalows completes. Till then avoid ! - Service staff good, location close to the GEM, food OK. Room was shoddy, aircon was really loud, patio windows didn’t open, no curtains (zero privacy at night), ton of building works underway, bed linen not clean, no direct access to the GEM (had to pay $30 for a tax to take us 1/2 mile), toilet seat broken, pool closed really early (and was policed strictly).

- Mohamed Ashraf (5/5): - I have always loved this hotel its vibes and ambiance The renovations there is unbelievable and uncomfortably near to the rooms lots workers roaming around the rooms with no privacy at all to enjoy the terrace or have a walk there, with so much noise

- Mauricio (7/5): Being a 5 stars hotel, it should be better. - Lunch & breakfast at Steigenberger Hotel, which is partner of Cairo Pyramid Hotel. Extremely poor internet wifi reception.
