Adequately equipped for what we need in a prime location. There was nothing we didn’t like - the property is amazing - just needs a bit of touch up of paint and woodwork. This didn’t hinder our stay and the negative reviews on here do it an injustice.

We are from Switzerland and truly enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, with excellent facilities throughout. The value for money was superb. In fact, this was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Everything went smoothly during our stay, and we did not encounter any issues at all. We would happily stay here again whenever we visit London. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Mayfair and within walking distance of many of central London’s main attractions and historic landmarks. The service was excellent, and we absolutely loved staying in this apartment.
- Christine (10/5): A quiet oasis to return to after bustling days! - The concierge was excellent, very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was lovely, beds comfy, everything we needed. We thought it was accessible as it had a lift, but there were steps into the property. Great that it had a lift in an old building, but it was small and we needed to fold the wheelchair up and have a few journeys. Saying that, it was such a good place, we’d stay again.

Il bagnetto è molto piccolo con l’asta della doccia rotta e con lo specchio anche rotto lavandino è veramente troppo piccolo, quasi da non riuscire a lavarsi il viso. Ci hanno dato un divano letto in sala con una coperta senza nemmeno il lenzuolo. Non siamo mai riusciti a contattare nessuno dello staff per tutti i problemi che abbiamo avuto. Non sapevamo se lasciare le valigie se potevamo lasciarle l’ultima mattina, ci siamo chiusi fuori abbiamo dei documenti che sono rimasti dentro e nessuno ha mai risposto ai nostri messaggi né tramite booking né i numeri privati che ci sono stati forniti.

- Iverson (7/5): Great location and size of flat, but a bit loud! - We liked the location of this stay and how accommodating the host was. The apartment was clean enough and of good size. Having a full kitchen was great. It was nice having multiple bedrooms for our family to stay in with multiple bathrooms instead of a hotel where it's more separate. The apartment was very loud, between the train you could hear most of the time, purposely loud cars/bikes, and other people staying in the apartment. Part of it could have been that we were the first floor apartment right next to the front door, but since we were traveling with two younger children, this was a bit of an issue. Additionally, there was a leak in the bathroom sink that was never fixed, though we alerted the host.

- Shahdad B (1/5): This property is not what it claims to be at all. Stay away from it. - Just the location. The suite was severely outdated and in need of significant renovation. The bathrooms were in particularly poor condition, with several fixtures not functioning properly and requiring major repairs. The shower was barely operational, and the hot/cold water controls were completely non-functional. The television also did not work. Throughout the suite, the furniture was noticeably aged and of very low quality.
- Guerkan (8/5): Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt mit der Familie in einer hervorragend gelegenen Wohnung. - Der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung war rundum hervorragend. Die Lage ist unschlagbar – nur wenige Schritte von der Green Park Station entfernt und umgeben von zahlreichen Restaurants, Bäckereien und gemütlichen Coffee Shops. Die Gegend ist ruhig und sehr sicher, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat. In der Nähe gibt es zudem einen kleinen Supermarkt, in dem wir alles finden konnten, was wir brauchten. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten konnten wir bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Obwohl es in dieser Woche einen Streik bei der U-Bahn gab, hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört – wir sind überall gut zu Fuß hingekommen. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir haben sie vor unserer Ankunft telefonisch kontaktiert, und die Schlüsselübergabe verlief reibungslos. Besonders gefreut hat uns das unerwartete Upgrade der Wohnung. Die Wohnung selbst war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir können diese Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen. Da sich die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss befindet, kann es gelegentlich zu Geräuschen durch die U-Bahn kommen. Für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf ist das möglicherweise relevant. Uns hat es jedoch nur an einem Tag betroffen, da während unseres Aufenthalts die U-Bahn größtenteils gestreikt hat. Die Fotos entsprechen nicht ganz der tatsächlichen Qualität der Wohnung – es handelt sich nicht um ein Luxusapartment, was wir jedoch auch nicht erwartet haben. Für die Lage ist der Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in der Gegend deutlich günstiger. Zudem haben wir ein Upgrade mit einem zusätzlichen Zimmer erhalten, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Die Möbel sind nicht mehr ganz neu, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir waren die meiste Zeit ohnehin unterwegs, und für diesen Preis war das für uns absolut in Ordnung.

Слышимость в апартаментах катастрофическая, особенно когда закрывается лифт, техника ушатана внутри, неисправна посудомойка все время приходилось вытирать воду под ней, от этого она переставала работать, оторван фасад.
- Isabel (9/5): Una estancia muy cómoda - La ubicación es excelente, el barrio es muy seguro y céntrico, de hecho en las calles colindantes hay embajadas de un montón de países. Habíamos reservado un apartamento de una habitación y al llegar el Manager nos dijo que nos hacía un upgrade y nos dieron un pisazo de 4 habitaciones, como éramos 5 nos vino fenomenal y estuvimos muy cómodos. El personal fue muy amable, no tuvieron inconveniente en que llegáramos antes de la hora del check in y nos permitieron hacer el check out más tarde y con posibilidad de dejar allí las maletas hasta la hora que quisiéramos el día de salida. El ascensor era más bien un pequeño montacargas, tenía una reja para cerrar y si no se cerraba hasta el fondo quedaba inutilizado.

- Andrew (8/5): Spacious apartment in a fantastic location. - Location was fantastic- very close to parks, the village was quaint with some cute coffee shops and pubs nearby. Close to tube stations too. They upgraded our apartment to a larger one and we had the opportunity to leave our bags at the property pre-check-in. The apartment was very spacious with comfy beds. Quiet neighbourhood- good nights’ sleep! We didn’t get the Times newspaper as advertised, even when we questioned its absence. Just slightly lacking a luxury finish in places.

The location is amazing — it’s extremely well located and close to many important places in the city, which made everything very easy. The apartment is quite spacious and very comfortable. No había luz en la cocina, no pudimos cocinar NADA para los niños por falta de iluminación, para solucionar el problema se limitaron a traernos una linterna…increíble!!!!. El lavavajillas ROTO, ya lo encontramos sin la parte externa de la puerta de cierre peto es que tampoco pudimos utilizarlo porque también estaba ROTO y empezó a soltar agua por todo el suelo de la cocina. Un desastre total!!!!. El sofá cama del salón donde debería haber dormido mi hijo también lo encontramos ROTO y nos trajeron una cama plegable con un colchón del tamaño de una esterilla de playa, PEOR IMPOSIBLE!!!. El dueño aún no se ha dignado a responderme pasando la pelota a los pobres empleados. Desde la primera noche que llegamos empezaron los problemas, luz en la cocina gota, lavavajillas roto, sofá cama roto y WIFI que tampoco funcionaba. Es lo único que lograron arreglar al tercer día , el wifi. El baño de la habitación principal tiene una grifería que también daba problemas puesto que no se podía regular la temperatura del agua porque el grifo se quedaba atascado cada dos por tres. En general el apartamento es un desastre que necesita renovación de todo y que lo chequeo antes de entrar los clientes puesto que NADA funciona. Lo único que tiene positivo es la ubicación pero sin así no vale la pena con los problemas que te encuentras cuando llegas allí. En resumen un absoluto desastre!!!!!. No me gustó nada. Todo ROTO y mal conservado.

Necesista una reforma a fondo y mucha pintura. El sofa-cama que ofrrecen como una plaza mas no es comodo ni está en muy buenas condiciones.

- Yuliia (1/5): - From the 6th to the 8th I had booked a stay at this hotel, but everything turned out to be absolutely awful. After the booking was confirmed, I received a WhatsApp message confirming it. They asked for our arrival time and, after a short exchange, sent a number we were supposed to call 15 minutes before arrival. When I called, they spent about five minutes trying to clarify something while simultaneously talking to another member of staff. Then they asked me to wait and hung up. Five minutes later, they informed me via WhatsApp that there had been a mistake and there were no rooms available. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the height of tactlessness and unprofessionalism. Thank you for leaving me out in the rain and on the street on my birthday, along with my parents, who are over 65. I have encountered a booking system error before, but I was informed of the changes via BOOKING.COM within an hour, not upon arrival.

They say it’s 5 stars but it more of a 2-3 stars, nothing dirty but the furniture and apartment looks so old. The beds had no headboards. The small chandelier has 2 different light colors white and yellow Part of the bathroom window was see through I had to cover it if I wanted to take a shower

- sandywA6299RY (4/5): Shaw House problems - We stayed at Shaw House because we had a great experience 25 years earlier. The location is great and very convenient. The apartment was very spacious. However, the accomodations are in serious need of renovation. The handle on the oven was glued on, the wood trim was rotted on the bottom, one bathroom window would not close and it was quite cold, the heat was sporadic in and one radiator leaked, the knobs on the bathtub stuck and we had) trouble turning off the water, there were three of us and they only had one key(which got stuck in the lock ). The window treatments and bedspreads we shoddy. The embassy parties were quit loud all night. Response from management was poor. The carpet in the common area was threadbare. It was supposed to be service daily, but in a week it was serviced twice.

Clean and comfortable and the team were really helpful in allowing us to drop bags in early, and leave them for a couple of hours on day of checkout. - abhishek (9/5): - Centrally located near Hyde Park. Green Park Metro station is a 5 minute walk. We stayed in apartment 2 and 6. In both apartments, the dishwasher's bottom tray was broken, but the manager didn't ask us to wash the utensils, so I didn't mind. The heater in one room wasn't functioning, and management provided a standing heater. The bathrooms could be better like stand for toilet paper, bottled soap but water pressure was amazing including hot water. Overall, management was super responsive, and it was a great experience. I would stay at the apartments again.
