• SZE WING (9/5): 房間大，地點佳，購物方便，隔音較差，整體舒適 - 地點方便，在心齋橋上面，一下樓就能購物。 一層只有一個房間，可以說一出升降機口就是房間。 房間空間足夠大，同時打開4個28寸行李箱都不是問題。 廚房設施沒用到，不評論 隔音較差，樓上活動都能聽到 我們住是2樓，平夜樓下有年輕日本人開嘜唱歌，完全是live演唱會，喜歡安靜的人不適合，但房間內的小禮物包內有附耳塞，不知道是否有足夠的幫助？ 空調設備比較老款，是從未看過的款式，但能用。 廁所的換氣比較弱，需要點時間才能排出臭味。

• Beverly (2/5): Overall, the location was fantastic and very convenient for exploring Osaka, but the noise, smell, and cleanliness issue - Great location! The accommodation is right in the centre — just a short walk to Dotonbori, the Glico Running Man, and the train station. It’s very convenient and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. They even provide extra Japan converter adaptors, free bottled water, and essential amenities. Perfect spot for exploring Osaka! Because it’s close to the centre, the noise was excessive — we couldn’t sleep well at all, and even earplugs didn’t help as it went on until morning. The lift had a strong unpleasant smell that made my kids gag whenever we used it. The towels were extremely old, and the room itself had an unpleasant odour. I ended up buying new towels and room perfume just to make our stay more bearable. We were so exhausted that we decided to book a different hotel for two nights just to get some proper rest. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Lovely touch by adding nice coffee and relaxing face masks. The easiest commute nearby to get to all the sites in Osaka. 💯% loved everything. Was perfect for us. Nothing negative.

Excellent host. - Apartment is in the heart of Dotonbori, very lively, probably most guests eat out or takeaway. So convenient to just be in the heart of Osaka. Actually no noise disturbance at all. Good amenities and comfy beds. Sofa bed and kitchen + supplies were superb. Excellent communication and great to have combination locks and no key issues. Great supermarket 7-9 min away. Very minor, bit difficult to dry clothes (great washing machine and huge clothes drying rack). Only mentioned as bathroom doesn't have a dryer function (like some apartments). Only other issue, 3-4 more shelves to stack clothes would be great for families. Also, combini 4 minutes away, supermarket 9 minutes away, if you are planning groceries.

• Michael (1/5): Not recommend at all!Ruined the end of our Japan trip! - Location only Sofa bed was not a bed. It was a tiny couch that didn’t match photos. Couldn’t fit adult, rock hard. Futon Bedding had hair on it when we arrived. Bedding not provided for the “sofa bed” so my brother slept on the floor . Had to make kids share a futon so my brother had bedding . Futons were paper thin and young kids slept in small space on floor Host wasn’t helpful and said everything was provided. They denied any compensation . We complained to booking.com and they gave us a small refund. Spent over $500aud on this one night as a treat and had a stressful bad experience! Location only good thing about this experience . Do not recommend at all!

We were pleasantly surprised at how large thev2 bedroom apt was and jm what an incredible location just 3- 5 min walk to hugest don Quixote, shop right outside, and dotonbori sign, very close to stations! Easy to find our way back to the hotel because there is a big strawberry on the wall next to the hotel for a Strawberry Mania dessert shop.

There are a couple of hard chairs and a…I’m not sure what to call it a kind of sofa on the floor that doubles as a mattress. It was awkward and not comfortable to sit on. (It wasn’t the same as in the picture of the apt). There is no dining table or place to sit and eat together.

• Ma (9/5): Convenient, budget friendly, and will stay again! - The location of this hotel is amazing. We stayed for 4nights/5days. As soon as you walk off the elevator and hit the corner of the entrance, you're right on the main street for everything. Hotel entrance is right next to the strawberry mochi, crepe, ice cream store. Pretty awesome that it could accommodate the 5 of us - 2 separate rooms with 2 full size beds and a couch that one of us slept on which was a little bit uncomfortable but it worked. The room included slippers and a cubbie outside of the elevator/front door to store your shoes. The bathroom and shower are separate. The shower and laundry machine are in the same room with a door for the shower - the bar where you hang your towel is a little far from the shower but we ended up putting our clothes on top of the washing machine since it was right outside of the shower door. We used the washing machine once and hung dry our clothes on the rack provided in one of the rooms. They provided an amenity kit with toothbrushes, face masks, feet/leg patches for relief, and mini loofah. The mini kitchen included coffee, a coffee maker, hot kettle, and plates/bowls/utensils/cups. The fridge was big enough to store our konbini snack hauls. It also included complementary water bottles and an assortment of condiment packets in the fridge (ketchup, jam). Instructions on using the elevator, getting into the room, and disposing of garbage were very clear. Instruction booklet on using appliances inside the room also included which was very helpful. *secure location, felt very safe! Host was very responsive to all of our messages! Replies quickly. The only complaint I have is that the elevator had a slight smell to it. Not sure if it was the carpeted walls? But they did try to spray it and leave air fresheners in there. I just held my breath or covered my nose with my shirt for the short elevator ride 😅. Other than that, the noise outside was expected since it is a party street with plenty of people wandering throughout all hours of the night/morning so can't really complain about that.

• Lo (5/5): Host was responsive, great location but as long as you are okay with the noise at night. - The location was nice, right in the center of Dotonbori The rooms were smaller than we thought and we were traveling with 2 adult children (boy & girl). And both rooms only had one bed and there wasn't enough space for a Futon. So my son had to sleep in the living room. The apartment is on 2nd floor so it's really noisy which we were warned on the listing. And there's a construction going on and apparently, there's no restriction on time of work in Japan as they started work at 4 a.m.

I loved the two bedrooms and the comfort of the entire place. I would have liked more pillows but that’s just me. The property was amazing!

The garbage collecting spot is right out front, garbage truck will be doing their job at night for at least 2-3 hours during the early A.M. If you are sensitive to noise, it will be a problem. Wall separating the 2 rooms is very thin, a small roll hitting the wall could wake the other room up.

• Hye (8/5): Very good - The accommodation was quite spacious for three people. Well furnitured with full amenities. Except for a few issues, I think the accommodation is definitely worth it in terms of location and facilities. 1. Smell : When we entered in, we frowned at the smell of the sewer. Only after turning off the ventilation and running water in the sink and washbasin did the sewer smell subside a bit. 2. Noise : The building across the street was under construction, and unbelievably, the work continued all night. To be exact, the construction work actually started in full swing at midnight. I was lucky enough to fall asleep with earplugs, but my husband couldn't sleep at all even with them on.

Place was a little bit smaller than the photos but it has everything you need. I was very impressed as they prepared a lot of things in the hotel Noise. We arrived on Sat night so it was even more noisy. Because you are in the middle of Dotonbori, can't help. If you are sensitive with noise, I don't recommend.

The only negative is the noise at night because it’s on the busy street but we have no problem because it’s just minimal. We were very tired from the day and fall asleep quickly. Beds are comfortable. Thanks for the complimentary mask and foot patch. They were very helpful!

Across got restaurant & their music A LITTLE BIT heard into our rooms until 22- 23.00 PM. Small rooms only @for 2 guests/room, but living room and kitchen quite comfortable , laundry machine is a great bonus, kitchen equipment is complete include microwave. No one cleans the rooms daily, and handle the trash, But downstair ( 1st level) and outside 15 mtr got public trash bin.

With this in mind, it can be a little loud in the evening hours. Property is pretty clean over all and amenities were top notch. One major issue we had with our unit was that it constantly smelled of sewage outside the bedroom living areas. The smell appears to stem from the drains in the shower/ laundry and from the toilet bidet fan when it activates.

Situated right in the heart of Dotonbori, its location is incredibly convenient, being in close proximity to train stations, an array of restaurants, and shopping areas. Additionally, it's just a stone's throw away from the iconic Glico sign. The property is well-equipped, offering the convenience of a kitchenette that is almost fully stocked, except for a knife. This feature allowed us to prepare our own meals, adding a homely touch to our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Dotonbori Hotel to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the lively energy of this bustling area. Nothing.
• Stephanie (7/5): Great apartment with all the bells and whistles, but be ready for some noise - Was a fantastic little apartment, complete with living room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. It had great facilities here and everything was really nice and clean. Self check in was way easier than I thought too. Not so much about the property itself, but just where it’s situated. It’s very loud being right on Dotonbori street. They do supply earplugs however. We were unlucky though cause the nights we were there, a street performer set up right across the road at 9.30pm and played til about midnight on his keyboard. It was very hard to have a relaxing night sleep. Hope he doesn’t show up when you book!

• Sarang (10/5): - We stayed from 10/26/2023 ~ 11/1/2023 (5 full days). The hotel communicated all the necessary information to us prior to our arrival and the instructions were well written and easy to follow. As a group of 4, the hotel felt a little small with all our luggage as well. I wouldn’t personally recommend it for more than 5 people. The other reviews stated that you could hear the noises from the street, and they are right. However, the hotel does supply earplugs and honestly, if you’re traveling right, you should be tired enough at the end of the day that it doesn’t really matter lol I slept in the living room and I did not hear any noises there. The location is superb though. Lots of things to do, foods to eat, shopping to be done all within a 10 minute walk radius. It’s also fairly easy to find (at the time of my stay). The hotel is right across the Kinryu Ramen Honten and right next to a Strawberry Mania, so you have the big dragon and giant strawberry to look out for. Overall, we had a positive experience with S-Dotonbori Hotel and would love to check it out again if given the opportunity.

No house cleaning at all for whole 7 nights stay & yet needed to pay 9000 yen for house cleaning:( During clarifications, it was mentioned there would be one cleaning during the stay. 2. Amenities such as coffee is only 6-7 capsules, once off. 3. Towels provided are of inferior quality, seemed reused for many times. 4. Requested for 3 beds, only given 2 & no explanation was provided. 5. Upon giving feedback, also no response received.

Overall was great the only concern is the noise was from the store opposite or besides us not sure whether was there a karaoke place can be heard and if you're a light sleeper you can be affected by it but it was okay for us as we still able to sleep with it.

Not recommended for family or anyone that cannot sleep with noise. The noise in the bedroom is unbearable. There were karaoke nearby and we could hear people singing and talking on the streets clearly at night. Booked for 7 nights but chose to checkout on 2nd day and forfeit the rest of the nights - it was that bad.

The windows/walls don't keep out a lot of noise. There is a 24 hour cafe across the street that plays music till 4am and you can hear it all night... On top of all the noise from the streets/people/birds.

• -sss- (7/5): Good - The location is great but it's come with price to pay. The room was spacious compare to other hotel. The hotel location is on the main street, so there was a little bit noisy all the night. If you are a type of person that can sleep with noisy environment it's would be okay.
