Guest Reviews
- Geralyn (9/5): Perfect location in the middle of all the activity. - Property owner met us at the door at the exact time she said she would You hear some of the noise from the street.
- Paweł (8/5): - Świetna lokalizacja, uroczy tarasik, wygodne łóżka, miła gospodyni. Na wyposażeniu wszystko co niezbędne. Naprzeciwko trwa remont dużego hotelu (stan na maj 2026), więc w dni robocze bywa głośno. Sam apartament wymaga odświeżania, a wyposażenie tarasu (komplet wypoczynkowy) zdecydowanie wymiany.
- R (10/5): A great place to stay and enjoy Rome. - The location was great and the rooftop terrace was the highlight! The apartment was very clean. And there is a grocery store and many restaurants nearby. The fountain is easy to view in the early morning and later at night without all of the crowds. The pictures of the apartment on the internet are accurate. A few times during our stay, somebody left the doors to the elevator open, in spite of the many signs asking people to close the doors because the elevator will not function under these conditions. The apartment is on the 4th floor. This was beyond the control of the host of this property. The elevator is small and will only fit 1 person and 1 suitcase comfortably.
- Deborah (9/5): -
- Mezinger (10/5): -
- Emelie (9/5): - Great location, amazing terrace.
- bruce (10/5): - Excellent location and host...
- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing apartment, gracious host, a perfect stay in Rome! - I agonized about selecting an apartment for our trip to Rome, and I'm so glad I went with my gut. Sara's apartment was everything we could have hoped for and more. The location couldn't be beat, the bedrooms (tucked in the back of the apartment so cozy and quiet) were just what we needed after a long day of travel, and the terrace was a huge bonus. Sara, our host, could not have been kinder. We encountered some travel snafus; my bag didn't arrive to FCO, which led to us waiting in a very long line to report the issue at 10 pm, delaying our arrival to the apartment until close to midnight, I was in touch with Sara throughout the ordeal and she graciously waited for us to let us in, show us the apartment, and even recommended I have my baggage delivered to her bistro around the corner. She even called me when it was delivered the next day! When we had a small problem with the sink in one of the bathrooms, she arranged to have it fixed immediately. All in all, I couldn't recommend this apartment enough. Don't hesitate to book it -- you won't regret it! We loved the location, but if you aren't interested in crowds and toursity areas, this might not be a good fit. I joked that the apartment was practically IN the Trevi Fountain, which meant that if you were headed that way, you had to negotiate lots of people (I can only imagine it gets worse in high season). Again, this didn't bother us a bit -- we loved the pedestrian street and access to 43 different gelato stands. But it's worth pointing out that the neighborhood might not be for everyone.
- Ginger (9/5): Perfect location, great property manager, no need to look anywhere else. - Property Manager was in contact via Whatsapp and even arranged an airport transfer for us. She met us promptly at the door with both keys. We rented out both apartments side by side and they were so kind to open up the terraces so we could go back and forth. The larger one has a lot more space to "hang". Two couches, large dining room table. The smaller one was fine but no one used the living area because only one couch for the four of us. Always hot water - thank you! Very clean. Immaculate clean. Thank you! We asked for another towel (cleaning crew came on Day 3 of our stay and shorted us one) and they promptly delivered. Cleaning crew did an awesome job. Easy to throw away trash (on first floor by elevators).
Easy for Glovo and food delivery services to find. Kitchen had everything we needed but we didn't cook.
Laundry services can be arranged M-F for a fee, they can give you that info. If you need laundry on the weekend you can take it a laundry place up by Borghese and they charge $8/load and it takes 2-3 hours.
The restaurant recommendations in their book they provided were spot on. We loved Il Chianti - right out the door practically. (Don't skip the lasagna here but get cacio e pepe somewhere else) Antico al Forno is across the street for morning pastries before the crowd (go into store to back counter).
There is a taxi stand close by (closer than the one in the book they list) just at Poli/Tritone. Easy peasy with luggage when you leave. If you want to order an Uber use Piazza dei Crocifieri/Poli. Easy peasy and yummy smoothies during the day while you wait.
Beds/pillows were why I took off a point. I have this problem in Europe in most places. Nothing to do about it I guess. But do not let this deter you! This is in the best location, can't hear the crowds, the heating and air conditioning both were great, hot water all the time, immaculately clean, and the most lovely terrace. The elevator wasn't working the first day and it was on the fifth floor (two flights of steps per floor). She called and it was promptly fixed by the next day. First day was brutal. Those steps are steep!
It also would be lovely to have laundry on-site.
- Oleksandr (10/5): -
- Mary (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Excellent stay - Sara was amazing property was perfect location you could walk everywhere. The outside terrace was lovely and inside everything was thought about couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was perfect
- Janet (9/5): relaxing and enjoyable - It was a lovely presentation, with many options hot food could have been hotter
- Celia (9/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): Perfect in every way x - Perfect location and apartment was fabulous with an amazing roof top terrace. Lots of little touches such as complimentary toiletries, wine bottle openers and a seperate ice fridge. Rustic features were beautiful , spotlessly clean and beds super comfortable. Accommodating host to top it off. Nothing
- raya (10/5): -
- Celia (8/5): Amazing location and terrace. Better stay during the summer.
- Donna (9/5): Rome with a view. - Lovely two bedroom apartment with an outside Terrace and view of the city. Great location near the Trevi Fountain. There is an elevator which is a plus since humping luggage up several staircases can be quite difficult. Sara was an exceptional host arranging cabs to and from the airport
- Virginia (10/5): -
- Michele (9/5): Beautiful apartment near Trevi Fountain. - Location near Trevi fountain was perfect for sight seeing. Easy access to apartment. Quiet apartment despite busy location. Perfect apartment for a stay in Roma.
- Tina (10/5): -
- Oliwia (9/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): - Perfect location,aircondition ,elevator
- Robert (9/5): -
- John (10/5): A wonderful apartment with a caring host . - An authentic , very comfortable apt in a terrific location - with lots of space , ( for 3 of us) -good clean , functional facilities , and a wonderful terrace . Nothing to report here
- Rachelle (9/5): - It was super close to the Trevi fountain and a lot of shops and little bakeries and stuff Only thing I didn’t like was the toilet seat in the one bathroom it kept moving when you sat on it
- Jocelyne (9/5): Good place to rest and enjoy the view. Short walking distance to so many beautiful sights. - We enjoyed the apartment especially the terrace. The location and proximity to the Trevi fountain is fantastic. The host warm and hospitable and answered all our questions :)
- Jennifer (10/5): This was the perfect place to stay with our family!!! Thank you Sara!!! - The location was absolutely amazing!!! Everything was lovely and Sara made everything comfortable and welcoming!!!
- Colm (10/5): Amazing place, amazing host in the best location - Fantastic apartment and amazing rooftop terrace right next to Trevi Fountain Purely constructive feedback. Perhaps bedroom two could have a double bed that could be split into twins and also two pillows per guest.
Also, if sockets could be upgraded to be double sockets with USB ports. Families have so many devices and cables this would be a great feature.
- Sarina (9/5): -
- Rahul (9/5): Great place for family - Location
- Carmen (10/5): Amazing location, lovely and informative host. Can’t rate this property and Sara highly enough! - The location is amazing! A few steps to the Trevi Fountain and everything around it. The terrace was fabulous to sit on at night, enjoying a wine and feeling like you’re still in amongst the action even if the kids are in bed.
- Charlotte (9/5): Romantic apartment in Italy - Hidden spacious rooftop apartment. It’s in the heart of Rome and a very Roman style! It was great! Bathrooms and kitchens are a bit different and smaller in Italy to Australia for Italian standards it was 10/10
- Ashley (10/5): Outstanding stay! Outstanding host! Outstanding location! - Beautiful and authentic Italian property. Fantastic host! Literally half a block from the Trevi Fountain. We had such an amazing stay, and if I have the opportunity to come back to Rome, I will absolutely book again! I have complaints! Fantastic property!
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect property to hang out for a few days exploring Rome - a great Italian experience! - Very rustic.
Lovely roof terrace.
Beds comfy.
Air con worked.
2 bathrooms with decent showers.
Superb location - 10yds from Trevi fountain and easy walking distance of most sights - Vatican, pantheon, Spanish steps, colosseum etc - on a street full of restaurants Wouldn’t change a thing!
- Karen (9/5): Great - Location
- Werner (7/5): Good -
- Mary (10/5): Excellent - Great spot Nil
- Carmella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kennedy (10/5): We only spent 2 nights in Roma and this was an excellent choice. Right in the heart of the city and a beautiful terrace - This was a wonderful and special experience - check in was easy and Sara was very helpful from the first exchange of asking questions about the area and restaurant suggestions. It was clean and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus for our family.
- Sal (8/5): Pleasant - Web Location and terrace
- Alison (10/5): IT WAS PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS....CLOSE, SIZE, PATIO, ELEVATOR! - THE LOCATION WAS VERY CONVENIENT. LOTS OF VERY GOOD RESTAURANTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. IT WAS VERY QUIET EVEN THOUGH ON A MAIN WALKING STREET. WE LOVED THE PATIO WHICH WAS KEY IN BOOKING THIS PROPERTY. THE
PROPERTY MANAGER WAS VERY REACHABLE AND CHECKED ON US SEVERAL TIMES.
- Amber (6/5): Overall our stay was pleasant but not what we expected based on photos. - The location was nice. Sara was a helpful host and responded quickly when I had questions. The water pressure was weak and hot water was not always available when showering. The photos made the apartment seem nicer than it was in reality.
- Rees (10/5): Our stay was awesome. The location is awesome, right by the Trevi fountain. The balcony was great to use. - Amazing location, right by the Trevi fountain. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Debra (10/5): Perfect location great host. - Location is perfect. Can see Trevi fountain from the bedroom window. Walking distance to Pantheon, Spanish steps, Colosseum and more.
- Alice (8/5): Very good - Loved the location. It was a true Roman apartment and had everything we needed. Elevator was tiny and there still were stairs to climb with the luggage. But the problems were the showers. One had no water pressure and the other was very tiny. But both kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold. It was impossible to get a good shower
- Emma (8/5): Lovely spacious apartment in amazing location - Location was amazing
- Karl (8/5): Very good - Nice apartment very close to Trevi fountain.
- Giganti (9/5): Super clean apt with terrace close to all! Would stay again - Sara the host was great. She met us with the keys also was available on Whatsapp and responded quickly. The location is perfect. Super Close to Trevi and walkable to most major attractions. The outside Terrace was the best for us. It is set up just as pictured. The apt is very quiet considering it is steps away from Trevi fountain and tons of people. We always felt safe and actually enjoyed the nightlife ! We ate breakfast right down from the apartment There is a small elevator which was super helpful with luggage. You still need to walk a short flight of steps. In case you need to know that. Not being super picky , the place could have had nicer glasses to drink from and silverware to use. But maybe people break them take them etc. only saying it bc it was not an inexpensive place The beds were a bit too soft for us. But that could be preference. The place is super clean which I care about the most
- Deborah (10/5): Wonderful from arrival to departure. - Location in the center of Rome. Patio was amazing. Very clean and spacious. Beds comfortable. Sara was very attentive and helpful. Supermarkets nearby. Elevator small, just remember to keep all doors closed when entering AND exiting so it will move up and down. Not one thing, everything was as described.
- Kasey (10/5): Perfect location for a first trip to Rome! - Sara was fantastic! She met us at the property when we arrived, gave us nearby restaurant suggestions, arranged for luggage storage on our last day after check-out. The property location was perfect - we were able to walk to the Colosseum/Forum, Vatican City, and the Borghese Gallery, as well as all of the things in the city center (Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). The apartment has a beautiful rooftop outdoor space and we had plenty of room inside for our family of five.
- Sharna (9/5): Quaint, classy, comfy, fab location and bonus 2 bathrooms - Beds were fabulous comfort, 2 bathrooms was so handy for family of 5. location so close to trevi fountain and restaurants galore and shops to explore early hours of the morning was a little noisy with street noise but that's to be expected given location
- Rachel (10/5): AN AWESOME PLACE TO STAY WHEN IN ROME - LOCATION WAS AMAZING, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF SOME OF ROMES FAMOUS PLACES NOTHING, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
- Clay (10/5): Terrific place - Sara was very attentive and helpful host -
- Gwen (8/5): We absolutely loved the terrace! - Drip coffee maker needs to be replaced. The hand held showerhead in the larger bathroom needs to be stabilized so it stays in one place. The bed was very soft.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Rhonna (10/5): Gorgeous terrace & great location! - The terrace was beautiful. Awesome location. Our host was very kind and responded quickly. Lots of space! Can’t think of a thing!
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noel (9/5): Superb - Acomodation and location
- Farah (10/5): Exceptional - It was very nice and sarah was an amazing host really
She explained everything so detailed face to face and helped us a lot The elevator place was not pleasant as it was beside the trashes wish it was cleaner that area
- Ed (10/5): A wonderful time in a super appartment, and beautiful city. - Amazingly central to all exciting things to visit. We walked everywhere so no need for transport. The Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and 60 seconds from The Trevi. Excellent! 105 steps up, but only 12 in the lift😂👍👍.
- Angela (10/5): Beautiful location in middle of everything; stunning terrace -
- Patricia (7/5): Great location right in the heart of Rome and very easy walking distance to lots of sites. - Great location and even though it is right near the Trevi Fountain and the huge crowds that come with it, it was very quiet.
Great air conditioning units in bedrooms and living room.
Lovely terrace to sit on for breakfast or evening drinks. It’s a comfortable apartment but a little run down.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect. The apartment is quiet and spacious with a large beautiful terrace.
- Rich (7/5): A nice place to stay if you want to be close to the Trevi Fountain - It was close to everything. One of the bedrooms was very noisy and the AC unit was noisy.
- Timothy (10/5): Nice apartment, responsive host and great location perfect for a family of 5. - Sara was responsive and greeted us on arrival. We used her recommended driver from the airport so the process into the apartment was seamless. She highlighted favourite restaurants as well as other conveniences located close to the apartment. The rooftop terrace is a great way to relax.
- Marie (10/5): Perfect Apartment in the best location in Rome!!! - Sara was the BEST host! We arrived and Sara meet us at the door entrance. She then walked us through the apartment and explained everything. She gave us some great recommendations of places to eat.
The location was amazing! You step out of the main door and to the left is Trevi Fountain! The vibe was perfect.
The apartment had everything we needed and the patio was the best for afternoon naps.
Thank you Sara for an amazing experience in Rome! Can't wait to come back! Everything was perfect!
- Jacqui (10/5): Absolutely fabtastic - It was gorgeous. Great to outdoor terrace too Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): Would definitely stay again. - We loved the terrace!! And the location. Climbing up to the 4th floor. Although there is a small lift.
- Charlotte (5/5): Passable - Beautiful terrace and great location
- Becky (10/5): Beautiful apartment, spacious with a lovely terrace. Central location. - Beautiful apartment, spacious with a lovely terrace. Central location.
- Suzanne (9/5): Absolutely brilliant place - Absolutely brilliant location Water pressure for showers wasn’t great
- Juan (8/5): Unbeatable location - Unbeatable location Booking.com’s terrace photos weren’t from the place we were staying at, which we had liked a lot, so we were somewhat disappointed when we realized it was a different property
- Nicole (10/5): Perfect location, lovely property, great terrace! - Great for our large family! Clean and perfect location. We loved the terrace. Literally a minute away from Trevi Fountain, easy walks to the Spanish Steps and many restaurants.
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible location only seconds away from the Trevi Fountain , spotlessly clean and homely.
The large terrace balcony was a pleasure to relax on, we could see the top of the Trevi Fountain nearby.
Sara was a fantastic host, helped us not just with the booking but also transfers and luggage storage after we checked out. Nothing to dislike.
- Ernesto (10/5): Many thanks to our host, Sara, for her hospitality and for her great advices regarding best restaurants nearby the prope - Everything was exceptional. The property is situated in the heart of the Rome touristic attractions, at 20 meters from Fontana di Trevi and looks exactly like in the pictures. It’s extremely clean and very quiet. I really appreciate the shuttle service from the airport organize by the host. Nothing
- Kristi (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous location. Great apartment with lots of character.
- Jerome (10/5): Eautiful place in the heart of the city - Great location. Property manager was very accommodating.
- Tommaso (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (5/5): Disappointed by this accommodation for the price - The host was very friendly and helpful Run down and very basic. The drains in the laboratory was really smelly and the items in the property were not all clean.
It would also be helpful to provide some essentials like bin bags etc.
for the price per night it is very basic and although very central location it was not worth the price
- Darko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (9/5): Sightseeing in lovely apartment with terrace at the tourist heart of Rome - The apartment was absolutely perfect for the three of us and the terrace was a great place to sit out. We enjoyed lovely evenings with food and drink outside, and the apartment was surprisingly quiet given all the people at street level (the hawkers selling their noisy toy blobs everywhere were annoying!). The beds were comfy and having 2 bathrooms and showers was a real bonus.
We also appreciated having an oven and a hob.
The central location is a mixed blessing. You can literally see the Trevi fountain from various points but getting to and from the front door in the evening could then be frustrating through the crowd . Also it is a bit of a way to the metro (or less so to the bus) to get around the city from this location in the center. However, there were hundreds of places to eat and drink nearby.
Our host was super friendly and nice! A bit of a distance to the metro and crowds to get to the front door... but that's the price on top of the Euros for the location right next to the Trevi fountain.
- Julie (10/5): Perfect apartment and host - This property exceeded my expectations. Sara, our host, let us store our luggage a few hours before check in. We traveled with a 6-month old baby, and the "pack and play' crib provided (free of charge) was very useful. The apartment was very clean, and many amenities were provided for the kitchen. The location was perfect for us to explore many famous Roman sites on foot. The street noise from the Trevi Fountain area was never an issue for us in the evening. We (and the baby) had no problems sleeping. Nothing...everything was amazing!!
- Terry (9/5): Superb -
- Jenny (10/5): Fantastic - Fabulous location. And host was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and I would stay again
- Lp (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cozy apartment right next to trevi fountain Clean, centrally located and close to everything
- Anonymous (7/5): It was OK! - The patio was nice. The location was good if you didn’t have luggage. It was a pedestrian only cobble stone street which made it difficult. The little shower with the curtain got water all over the floor and we had to use towels to dry it. I asked for more towels and was told our 3 day stay did not have housekeeping or towel service. Very disappointed our request was not accepted.
- Ruby (10/5): A fantastic trip to Rome - Fantastic host and location! We were greeted upon arrival and even had assistance to book transport when we checked out. The location was perfect for our 3 day trip to Rome, it was great to be so close to the Trevi fountain and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. N/a
- Marybeth (10/5): Exceeded our expectations! - We couldn't believe how lovely and well-appointed the apartment was, and it was very safe for two women traveling together. The lift worked perfectly. I could see the top of the Trevi Fountain from my bed :-) and we loved having the spacious terrace for our morning coffee and evening relaxation. The windows blocked out all sounds from those at the fountain. Air conditioning was the best I've ever experienced in Italy so this apartment would be terrific for summer travelers. Perfectly located for walking throughout Rome. Our host was lovely and kind and checked in on us to see how things were going. I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment!
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Toni (8/5): Choose Principessa Trevi for the Terrace, Air Conditioning, and Location. - The spacious terrace with a fine view of the Quarinale! The apartment itself is clean and well-appointed. The living area is warm and comfortable. This place is not slick, instead, it feels homey and appreciated through many decades. The kitchen includes everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal or just drinks and antipasti to be served on the terrace. The bedrooms are adequate. Despite being located close to the moshpit that is the Trevi Fountain, the triple-paned windows work their magic. it is within walking distance of most of the Centro Storico. The air conditioning and robust showers were greatly appreciated. Did I already mention that wonderful terrace?! The street entrance and access to the elevator, through a trash can storage area, are dismal. Although the apartment itself is clean, the stairs and elevator leading to it are not. It is a penthouse apartment, so the elevator ends a flight of stairs below the unit. I was disappointed that even those stairs, used primarily by its guests, appeared not to have been cleaned recently. During our visit, the view from one bedroom revealed an ongoing reconstruction project.
- Tara (9/5): Wonderful apartment in a central location with an excellent host. - Lovely apartment. Clean, spacious, ridiculously central location (you can hear/see Trevi Fountain from bedroom terrace). Excellent for our family of 5 for whom it is difficult to find hotel accommodations. Sara the host was communicative and helpful from booking through departure. She arranged travel from the airport and made suggestions for navigating the city. There are many flights of stairs up to the apartment, which was no problem for us since we are city dwellers with multi floor row home. But if anyone in your party has mobility limitations (young, old, impaired), be aware of the climb. The alternative is a very tiny elevator that isn’t great for anyone uncomfortable in tight spaces. Consider this apartment an excellent option for exploring and enjoying Rome!
- Jiwon (10/5): the perfect stay in Rome - With Sara's warm greeting, we could start the perfect journey of Rome in summer. Now I knew why all reviews were good-the location, air condition, kitchen, clean and cozy room, home decoration, lovely balcony. because the view of balcony was toward to fountain Trevi, we could see how many tourists were there all day, every moment . We really enjoyed the stay and romantic nights of Rome. Nothing!
