The staff was not only very helpful, they made us feel at home. Truly amazing customer service. Great breakfast and the location is excellent. Walkable to many sites and near public transportation. The area was safe and beautiful, near many restaurants and bars. I would definitely return if I visit Rome in the future.

Puedo entender que no tenían una habitación mejor durante nuestra estancia pero dos detalles importantes que me han hecho cambiar de opción. Hormigas en todas partes. Nos han dejado unos dulces de bienvenida y en el plato habían hormigas . Pero aquí no acaba, al despedirse de nosotros nos han dado a todos una bolsa con agua y galletas lo cual me pareció un detalle muy bonito si no fuera por … hormigas!!! La bolsa estaba llena de hormigas, dentro y fuera del paquete de galletas. Me preguntó, cómo pueden ser tan descuidados con este tema, o las hormigas eran parte del obsequio ?🤦🏼♀️ En cuanto al horario del cierre de desayuno te echan rápido porque saben que se acabó tal vez deberían prestar más atención a la calidad de sus “bio” productos y decir “hormigas” friendly. Será parte de la experiencia ? Ganas de volver ? 0

- bertrand (8/5): emplacement idéal à Rome - l'emplacement est top sur la piazza Navona donc tout à pied , trop sympa ensuite le personnel d'une très grande gentillesse on est parti à 5h du matin et on a eu le droit à un petit panier , un café franchement le service est remarquable , le confort de la literie parfait , pour le pt dej la harpe et le service des oeufs à la demande ainsi que l'orange pressée parfait aussi enfin le bar en rooftop donne un peu d'espace et de calme surtout fin mars ! le problème pour moi c'est que justement il n'y a pas d'espace , c'est bien trop petit donc aucun jardin , aucun espace spa une salle de pt dej quelconque enclavée donc pour un relais & chateaux c'est vraiment limite mais c'est vrai que l'emplacement est idéal et donc au détriment de la superficie , c'est un choix mais le personnel est tellement adorable que je retiens le côté positif de ce lieu
- Gilbert (9/5): - La disponibilité du personnel, sa gentillesse, le confort, l'emplacement, le petit déjeuner... tout était parfait ! Belle salle de bains de marbre mais... quelques points à améliorer : concevoir une cabine très spacieuse avec 2 pommes de douche séparées d'un mètre pour les couples qui veulent se doucher ensemble, admettons ( combien le font ?)..., mais c'est une faute de ne pas avoir prévu de pomme manuelle avec un flexible pour se rincer complètement ! D'ou l'obligation - beaucoup moins agréable - de se doucher dans la baignoire. Quant au bec de la vasque, il est trop court, donc on ne peut se laver correctement que le bout des doigts. Des détails, certes, mais " les détails font la perfection" (et la perfection n'est pas un détail, selon Michel Ange). Il sera facile à la Direction de ce magnifique Hotel d'y remédier.

- Pedro (8/5): Estancia idílica salvo un pequeño problema el primer día - La segunda habitación que nos dieron (now dieron una previamente que explicó más adelante) nos pareció increíble. La cama permite cambiar la posición del cabecero y las piernas. El diseño es muy bonito. El baño es súper espacioso. Con dos duchas y una barra aparte. Lavabo con dos senos. Y secador de una calidad excelente La primera habitación que nos dieron era bastante vieja. No había sido reformada en 2014 con la reforma de Richard Meier, que es la que habíamos pedido. Además al estar en la última planta había un calor horroroso. Nos hicieron el cambio porque no queríamos ruido de la calle, lo cual es un detalle, pero creo que si supone un cambio en la categoría de la habitación deben preguntar antes a los huéspedes. Además otro episodio desagradable fue que, con el calor que teníamos (íbamos en camiseta), pedimos que nos regularan la calefacción y vino un empleado que empezó a girar unos mandos de la pared y dijo que la había apagado. Cuando se fue, los girábamos y comprobamos que realmente controlaba la intensidad de la luz del salón. Esto demuestra o un desconocimiento total o peor, una voluntad de engañar. Esto fue lo peor de nuestra estancia. Una vez nos cambiamos de habitación al día siguiente todo fue increíble, y mientras no os den esta habitación recomiendo totalmente este hotel.

- ATHENA (4/5): Overall, the hotel did not meet the expectations associated with its category. - The breakfast service starts at 7:00 a.m., and we had to leave for the airport at 7:30 a.m. However, by 7:20 a.m., much of the food was still not ready, and the staff appeared unprepared and disorganized. This was disappointing and not consistent with the standards expected from a Relais & Châteaux hotel. When booking a five-star hotel — especially a Relais & Châteaux property — guests naturally have certain expectations. For example, one does not simply expect a clean bathroom, but also one free from persistent unpleasant odors. These are certainly not minor details, but fundamental standards

I have been a Hilton Diamond and Platinum member and stayed at some of the finest (and most famous) hotels in the world. The Fontainebleau in Miami, The Plaza in NYC, and dozens upon dozens of boutique hotels that pride themselves on service and amenities, and none could hold a candle to our experience at The Raphael. From it;s location next to the Santa Maria della Pace and just steps from the Piazza Nevona, to the complimentary cappuccino and mini eclairs we were served while waiting for our bags to be brought to our room, this was simply a dream stay. And all for a price that was lower than my favorite budget hotel in Brooklyn. Nothing! This place is perfect. The rooms are modern, the art is exquisite, the staff is lovely and friendly and always greets you with a "Buongiorno" or "Bonasera". Please do not change a thing, as I am sure we will be back!

Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel. There was nothing I did not like. From arrival to departure, this hotel is top notch. Upon arrival they provided snacks and drinks while we waited. The little extras in our room were appreciated.

The room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed and a beautiful hardwood floor. Although in the centre of the city, the hotel was a haven of peace and all we could hear on the terrace were the screeches of the birds at sunset. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the service was impeccable. The lady playing the harp was a serene accompaniment to breakfast every morning. Breakfast itself consisted of high-quality organic vegetarian dishes, with eggs and pancakes freshly prepared to order. Our stay here was truly memorable.

Perfectly situated near the Piazza Novana, this hotel is luxurious while being centrally located. We felt tucked away from noise and crowd while being able to see everything on one of the best roof-top restaurants. The room was large, fitted with modern appliances and super comfortable beds and bedding. Amenities were luxurious, with Bulgari shampoos and lotions. The staff were so helpful and recommended a perfect restaurant for authentic Italian food and pizza. We wished we could have stayed much longer! Nothing!

- SAZ111 (10/5): Exceptional in every way - The hotel is exceptional in every way, starting with the very friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful rooms, the tasty breakfast with live harp music, the rooftop terrace, where we witnessed the spectacular New Year’s fireworks all around Rome, and of course the great location. I have now stayed three times at this hotel, and would unreservedly recommend it.
