Should return to small portions instead of huge plates of rice and meat!!! Desserts mostly not very attractive- again, for cocktails? Dr Ebermann being lifelong member normally received some personalized welcome- probably nowadays out of fashion…’

ROTO12 (10/5): Great location and stunning views! - Outstanding location. Right on Orchard Street where the street is filled with high-end shopping, but also next to Lucky Plaza which I understand is the Filipno markets. Right out there door is the MRT which takes you wherever you need to go. The underground MRT is an entirely world of its own. There’s a Hawkers Center eatery at the base of the escalator and more shops that takes you into more shops. It’s endless. Outstanding breakfast and excellent Executive Lounge for Platinum Elite members. Beautiful pool for being in the center of the city on the 5th floor. Only downside, which didn’t ruin my trip is the woman who checked us in at the desk. She wasn’t too friendly. She wasn’t friendly or personal and the same for the woman at the concierge's desk. Outside of those two women, the rest of the front desk staff and concierge staff were outstanding, friendly, and always helpful. I don’t think you’d have a bad view in this hotel if you were in a high floor. We were fortunate to have been on the top floor, which is 30. Beautiful. Loved our stay here for five nights.

The areas can improve on I think was the lift, have to wait for a long time to get the lift. I'm really grateful for what Xin Yi did for me. As I was first time in the lounge, she patiently explain to me most the hotel facilities and suggested me to try their new signature cocktail. But for me, still more prefer in wine selection. Also, as I could not sleep well, she asked someone send a different pillow to my room which made me can sleep well throughout the night.Thank for her hospitality service and hope to come back again. Nous avons apprécié son emplacement exceptionnel : Un food court juste en bas de l’hôtel Un accès direct aux malls Un plateau de fruits de bienvenue Nous avons également pris le meilleur petit déjeuner de tout notre séjour. Il y avait moins de choix que dans d’autres hôtels, mais la qualité était bien supérieure. S'il fallait chipoter et trouver un petit soucis , je pense que ce serait celui ci : L’accueil et le service de l’équipe du matin différaient selon que nous étions placés à gauche ou à droite de la salle. À gauche, l’équipe était plus agréable : elle prenait la commande de nos premières boissons chaudes et venait régulièrement débarrasser la table. Lorsque nous étions placés à droite, c’était totalement différent : aucune prise de commande pour les boissons et un débarrassage des assiettes beaucoup moins fréquent.

Freizeitmokel (10/5): Older hotel with some interior shows age, but great location and M Club - I rated this place before and want to add on. The location of course is prime, however the hotel is getting old. The rooms are still alright but the elevators show it the most. Some buttons are not working properly, incl. call buttons. Best for this hotel is the lounge / M Club though. Especiall Mr. Zul always makes my day. He was running the morning shift during my stay and is a very nice, attentive and talkative person. Makes breakfast and the start to the day very nice. I see the hotel gradually renovates the elevators and also rooms. Hope my next visit I find a lot progress on these already.

bjamisonf (10/5): A Truly Pleasant Stay - A Truly Pleasant Stay We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is well-maintained, tastefully designed and decorated. We loved the fresh orchids all over the building - such a beautiful touch. It is perfectly located right on Orchard street, where shopping and food choices abound. It is only a few minutes from the subway and a bus stop. Our room had a spectacular view of the city yet still quiet at night. Beddings and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Now… for the real stars of the hotel who made our stay memorable. We would like to thank the following staff: 1. Sarah Lim at the front desk - welcomed us with such genuine warmth. She sent over a welcome platter of fruit. We casually mentioned that is was our 40th wedding anniversary and she sent some treats. We were so touched. 2. Ellen at the breakfast check-in. What a wonderful way to start our morning! She always had a sweet demeanor, with a friendly smile. I looked forward to seeing her. 3. Choo, Yul, and Hailey at the M lounge. Choo was very patient in helping us with the printer. He is polite and conversational. Yul had a great sense of humor and was very chatty. Hailey was always attentive and efficient, noticing when to replenish drinks. She was always charming. 4. The lady behind the noodle station is always cheerful. She also works at the M lounge. 5. Latif, one of the doorman. Very friendly and notices us. 6. Yan Yi - kept our room tidy, fresh, and clean. She remembered to keep the sheet in the bed that we requested. 7. Xing Chao, the housekeeping floor supervisor. She was always cheerful whenever she saw us. Always making sure the room was clean and asked if we need anything else to make our stay comfortable. 8. Karen from 27th floor housekeeping. She was a delight, very warm, sweet and personable. We enjoyed our interactions with her. While she wasn’t the housekeeper on our floor, we met her one night when she was doing the turn-down for a staff who couldn’t work that day. Above and beyond the excellent amenities, it’s the personal touch that the above-mentioned staff showed us that made our stay memorable. Highly recommend Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel!

We visited the lounge for a few nights unfortunately we were not very good in English. We would like to thank Xin Yi who patiently explained to us everything especially the ingredients of the cocktail and hotel operation timing. Definitely will be back again next time.

For changes, the app requests you to contact the property and the property maintains they cannot do anything as the booking was done through the app. the app does not allow you to amend only 1 of the rooms. its either you amend both or not at all. This was very disappointing from booking.com.

Very unpleasant , we hardly ate anything as we wanted to get out . It took 2 hrs to warm up . If the temperature was 2 degrees warmer it would be a lot healthier , cheaper and better for the environment !! Inside should never be more than 8 degrees lower than outside and not 17 degrees lower than body temperature !!
ZGMing (8/5): It would have been a perfect stay if not for the lifts! - We booked four rooms, including two suites, during the New Year holiday. The hotel's location is excellent, with direct access to the subway and a food court beneath it. However, the executive lounge is rather small, making it difficult to find a seat during evening cocktails due to long queues. On the bright side, breakfast at Crossroads Buffet is outstanding, with an impressive variety that makes choosing what to eat a pleasure. We did face inconvenience when we had to bring our luggage inside from the road entrance without assistance at the main door. Despite these positives, the lifts were the biggest letdown; only three out of four were operational, with the fourth under repair for several months. Hopefully, lift upgrades will take place soon.

88eganh (10/5): Old but Iconically Gold – A True Landmark in Orchard Road - Marriott Tang Plaza is a long-standing hotel along Orchard Road that has clearly been well maintained over the years. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas are tidy and functional, and the property continues to operate smoothly despite its age. There were some minor elevator issues during the stay, but it was good to know that upgrades are already planned. What stood out most was the service. The staff were consistently polite, attentive, and professional. Thank you to the M Club Lounge team, especially Yusuf, Coleen, Choo, and their supervisor, along with the lounge associates who made the experience pleasant and welcoming. I’d also like to acknowledge Adrian from Concierge, Jen from Guest Services, and a member of the housekeeping team whose service was courteous and reliable. A simple dining highlight was the soup and noodle station at Crossroads Restaurant—comforting and enjoyable, especially after a long day. This stay was also personally inspiring. With years of experience in hotel visual branding, I couldn’t help but notice the potential for subtle lobby updates or seasonal styling using existing resources. Small layout adjustments can make a meaningful difference. Thank you, Marriott Tang Plaza, for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to visiting again.
Deb3John (6/5): Not Worth the Money - The Location of this hotel is excellent, the subway is directly below and it is also within the heart of Orchard Road shopping district. We paid for an executive room with club access, the room was whilst not overly spacious it was clean and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. On the downside- the elevators are atrocious at on stage we waited 10 minutes and this was a constant- very annoying when you are paying up to $1000 per night for a room. The food - again not up to scratch for the money you are paying - always just luke warm. The eggs for poached and fried were precooked then reheated in warm water- just horrible. Even the food in the Club room was not hot just warm and sometimes just cold. bar staff ion the club room were very nice.

Hotel bello, stanza spaziosa, ben arredata e molto pulita, ottima colazione che offre molte varietà di cibo per tutti i gusti e abitudini. Staff cordiale e molto attento. Zona piscina molto bella, ottima Changing Room che ci ha permesso di usufruire della piscina fino a poche ore prima della partenza. Uniche pecche, se proprio vanno trovate, sono la lentezza degli ascensori e un leggero odore di umidità che si percepiva appena entrati nella camera (ma nulla di fastidioso).

On the other hand, I would like to admire Ms. Ran from Housekeeping team who is very helpful and the only person who interacts with me for asking how well I stay so far and inquire about anything I need. It is small talk while she is busy with her job but as the guest of the hotel, I appreciate this because it means the warm hospitality. I hope the hotel team would recognise her as the sample of the team. Finally, I stay here for 4 nights and it is my wonderful excursion.

Road57219743078 (8/5): Great Staff and location, painfully slow elevators - I use this hotel every-time I have business in Singapore. Rooms are ok. The gym is above average. Decent Sauna. Restaurants are good. There is a cool speak-easy bar hidden in the lobby. Fun place. The location is fantastic. The staff are always polite. I’ve used that hotel over 20 times and the staff is very nice. The only major problem are their elevators are slow. In the morning plan 10 minutes extra, they’re that slow. I was told by the staff they are renovating and updating and it will be fixed.

fkmelbourne (10/5): Outstanding service and great location - This elegant hotel locates at the heart of Orchard Road, the ultimate shopping destination, with public transportation just metres away. The moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by the doorman. The front desk check in staff were friendly, efficient and professional. Our room, as in all our previous stays, is well appointed, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The wide windows provide a great view of the city. Our room is always serviced nicely. The highlight of our many stays is always the M Club. It offers a fine selection of cuisines and beverages. The staff such as Choo are all very welcoming and helpful. We were very pleasantly surprised that Zul remembers us and our morning coffee preferences from our last visit in April! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our coffees. I have dietary restrictions. Chef Tan Cheng Chwee kindly took the care to make my spinach omelette. This kind of outstanding hospitality brings us back year after year. At this time of the year, we get to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations in the lobby as well. We highly recommend this hotel!

I think the rooms could do with an upgrade as some of the wood in the bathroom was old, but I had a great stay. Thanks to all the staff. Oh, need to have just a dim lamp as the lights are very bright if you wanted to leave on background The view. Beds were sloping to one side for some reason.

RmdGolfers (10/5): Orchard Park Area Hotel - Marriott Tang Plaza - We stayed 9 nights at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel and really enjoyed our stay! We came into town for the F1 Singapore Grand Prix and to do a bit of golfing. Naturally, during the GP, the rates are high, and staying in the Marina Bay area wasn't an option for us. Staying in the Orchard Park area was a great option instead. The hotel is co-located with the MRT station and the ION Orchard Shopping Centre as well as Tang Plaza. So we had plenty of eating options and convenient access to the track via MRT. There were a number of F1 related pop-ups at ION Orchard as well as all over the city! Hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious, with large walk-in shower and a small vanity. There were several complimentary bathroom items like toothbrush and comb if needed, as well. The door is a sliding door, but private enough if more than one person is staying in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Room also had a small refrigerator as well as tea and coffee and water replenished daily. There's a nice pool area and the gym is a good size. We booked an option including the buffet breakfast and it was really good - many options and types of food to try and a great way to start the day! We found the service to be excellent and everyone pleasant and helpful. Loved out stay and would stay here again. For this class of hotel, they've done an excellent job! Tips: 1) Hawker style food is available in the basement at Tang Plaza (several Michelin brands) and the basement of ION Orchard. Very inexpensive, but good. 2) Cheer stores (like a small convenience store for less expensive beer and soft drinks) as well as snacks - usually can find these near an MRT station 3) Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is exit 1 from the MRT station 4) Hotel has 24 hour room service if you are out late and need a bite to eat when you return.

It was full house , but one out of the five lifts were broken down. Wait time to get up or down could be as much as as 15 minutes and sometimes we couldn't get in because it was so full, hence waiting another 10 minutes or more.
