• Christian (9/5): Great customer service at a central location - Before I arrived I had a few requests. I requested taxi transfer from the port, early check in and higher floor with a view. A hotels response to such requests usually give me a impression of the service level of the hotel. Im happy to report that the hotel manager delivered on all those requests. The transfer went perfectly, early check in was coordinated when we arrived 4 hours before normal check and last but not least, we got a great room high in the building with a terrace. All in all, a great experience supplied by people that understands the value of customer service. Nothing

• Jane (8/5): I would stay at the Hotel Bolivar again for its location and cleanliness - The hotel is in a great location. About 7 mins from the Trevi Fountain . Staff were really friendly and helpful . The hotel was very clean with clean towels every day There was a kettle in the room but no coffee or milk to make a hot drink . The hairdryer is not great and broke during our stay but they fixed it within a couple of hours of notifying reception
• Henry (10/5): A perfect base for solo travel in Rome - exceptional staff, beautiful views and unbeatable location - The staff went above and beyond - upon finding out it was my 30th birthday, they kindly upgraded me to a top floor room with a balcony and stunning views, which was a wonderful surprise. As a solo traveller I immediately felt safe, welcomed and well looked after. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options including fresh cakes, coffee and a lovely Italian spread. Every member of staff, from reception to the cleaning team, was warm and genuinely kind. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the location is perfect - central Rome with the Colosseum just a short walk away

• Michaela (10/5): Absolutely delightful! - Being greeted at the door by name and being given an extremely clean and spacious room made my time here very special. The hotel manager did not only help me with providing easy transfers, but also gave hints as to what to do and how many time to calculate for things! He always knew where I was going and was very helpful in any way. Felt incredibly safe and welcome as a single-traveller! Will be definitely coming back to this hotel in the future!

Decent ok breakfast.Great staff especially Peter who made sure we got the great balcony rooms with views !! Shower tubs are very small (European phenomena) making it hard to move freely. Beds were quite low and mattresses can be upgraded to better higher quality. Regular fluffy bathroom towels can be provided instead of cloth towels.

Cuidado! La comida suele estar mala hay que avisar a los que atienden, leche pasada, tomate pasado, quesos podridos. CUIDADO! NO FUE UN DIA FUERON VARIOS. Nosotros estuvimos 5 noches. Lamentablemente Venimos de londres, Francia y Suiza. El precio va hotel no está bien!! La cama es super incomoda. Son dos individuales juntas.

L’hôtel est très propre et le personnel disponible et sympathique. Il y avait beaucoup trop de bruit à l’intérieur de l’hôtel. L’escalier central donne directement sur les chambres et nous étions réveillés par les clients qui rentraient tard et ceux qui partaient tôt (même avec des bouchons d’oreille). Il n’y a pas de climatisation dans les chambres, donc nous avions très chaud car le chauffage était allumé de façon centralisée et nous ne pouvions pas contrôler la température.

Pieski były mile widziane(psy średniej wielkości ).Parking płatny ale auto mieliśmy zaraz obok na wyciągnięcie ręki także duży plus,na przeciwko hotelu pyszne dwie restauracje, kawałeczek dalej ulica prowadząca do Fontanna di Trevi gdzie znajdowało się mnóstwo restauracji, szczególnie mogę polecić Le Lanterne jest to pierwsza restauracja na tej urokliwej uliczce , pyszne jedzenie w dobrej cenie i przemiła kelnerka-Polka mieszkająca od lat w Rzymie. Zostaliśmy od razu obsłużeni natomiast im bliżej fontanny ceny droższe i duże kolejki. Pieski w knajpie akceptowane. Centrum miasta na wyciągniecie ręki miasto zwiedzaliśmy piechotą także wybór hotelu był idealny -jazda autem w Rzymie jest czasochłonne więc super że udało się obyć bez auta.Śniadania w hotelu bardzo dobre serwowane na ostatnim pietrze hotelu z pięknym widokiem na plus.

The room was extremely comfortable with large opening windows and an abundance of light! A rarity in hotels in Rome. The location is perfect... very close for walking to everything but just hidden away enough to avoid the crowds. • Gustavo (8/5): Para quem quer conhecer Roma a pé - Excelente localização, muito próxima aos principais pontos turísticos. Região com todo tipo de comércio próximo, sendo possível fazer tudo a pé. Importante alertar que a chegada a pé ao hotel passa por uma rampa íngreme e grande ou escadaria. Café da manhã excelente e funcionários muito atenciosos. Quarto pequeno para família, não havia espaço suficiente para as malas no chão e roupas no armário. Apesar de ser um local que não há praticamente passagem de carros, ouvimos barulho de pessoas conversando de madrugada.

In bagno non c'è una mensola dove appoggiare un beauty o altro, non c'è un bicchiere per gli spazzolini, non c'è un appendino per un asciugamano/accapatoio. C'è il frigo-bar ma non ci sono i bicchieri. Insomma piccole cose che potrebbero essere migliorate per favorire il soggiorno.

• johnandelaine12 (10/5): Attractive hotel in a perfect city centre location. - Eight of us stayed here for two nights over the weekend. An attractive and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. Friendly and efficient service from reception. The bedrooms were spacious, well furnished and tastefully decorated. Breakfast choices were many and varied. The breakfast room on the top floor was bright and offered some lovely views across the city towards the countryside. Our accommodation was priced very reasonably, given there must have been high demand for hotels over the weekend because of the Italy v Scotland rugby match. Highly recommended. We’ll book this hotel next time we’re in Rome.

We would highly recommend it. - 9 or 10 of us have been travelling to Rome every other year since 2000 for the Italy v Scotland rugby match. This is the first time we stayed at the Hotel Bolivar and the reception we received was excellent. The staff were very friendly, the hotel very clean, the rooms smart and comfortable and the breakfast was the perfect start to the day. We will definitely be returning in 2028!! Couldn't fault it! every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.
