Very convenient for everywhere me and my wife wanted to go while visiting our son abroad. Hotel is extremely clean and respectful. Max at the bar is awesome and everyone at the front desk was so exceptionally polite and accommodating. I would definitely visit Barcelona again and when I do I plan to stay here!

What a great hotel noting location - but also its staff. From the doorman to the desk staff - all were courteous and very helpful. The “recommended local dining selections” were all great - as we really appreciated the re-introduction to tapas and wine. The hotel offered great breakfasts and the bar was a great break too noting the staff was very responsive even with high demand. Our room was perfect - noting it provided both comfort and quietness! We walked whenever we could and note pre-purchase of tickets to the Park Güell and Sagrada Família are a must! It was too short of a stay but our thanks to

- programdd (8/5): Great location for shopping. - This hotel is a great location for shopping, with numerous high-end boutiques within a five-minute walking distance, including Loewe, Chanel, Hermes, and Rolex. Casa Badillo and Casa Mila are also conveniently located nearby. The hotel rooms are functional and spacious (I booked the for three people), rooms for two might be smaller. There aren’t many amenities in the room, so I had to request slippers and a shower cap. Initially, I noticed brown spots on the sheets, which I asked them to change. However, subsequent cleaning and sheet changes didn’t reveal any issues. One of the ceiling lights wasn’t working, and my wife mentioned it, but no one came to fix it. The TV also had no signal throughout my stay, but it wasn’t a major concern for me, so I only mentioned it to the front desk during checkout so they could get it fixed for the next guest. The elevator to the 6-8th floor was extremely small and slow, so we had to walk to the fifth floor to catch the bigger and quicker elevators during majority of our stay. Breakfast was good, and all staff are friendly and speaks English. The only issue I had with the staff was when I asked them to call for a taxi for me on my check out day. I specifically informed them that I had five suitcases and asked them to call for a large taxi that could accommodate my luggage. However, on the day of departure, a small taxi arrived, and the driver informed me that the hotel had informed the taxi company that I only had two suitcases. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again for its convenient location and friendly staff.

It was definitely needed towards the end of our stay in Spain. The level of hospitality and amenities at this hotel was very much appreciated. The hotel is beautifully designed. Thank you for the nice stay located in a great area with plenty of walkable and incredible restaurants.

The hotel is in a great position, walking distance from Placa de Catalunia and with metro station nearby, so easily to travel the city by public transportation. Check in was ok and the porter was helping me providing information and.... a glass of fresh water! The room was very nice, not enormous but comfortable and quite (..and I received an upgrading as Diamond HHonors Hilton). Breakfast quality and room were very good and the personnel ready to help and full of empathy (they recognized me as a frequent guest at the hotel...). I will for sure return to Alexandra hotel both for business and leisure.

The location truly couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything, yet the hotel still maintains the feel of a quiet, boutique retreat. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to relax after a full day exploring the city. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We were celebrating my son’s 27th birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised him with a slice of birthday cake and a lovely note sent to his room. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the trip even more special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

It's in the heart of a very upscale Barcelona neighborhood with tons of luxury shopping on every corner. It's within walking distance of two of Gaudi's famous apartment buildings: Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. Our superior king was roomy for Europe and the bed was very comfortable. We used ear plugs to drown out any road noise while sleeping. Front desk staff, especially Maxi, were friendly and eager to make a great impression. The steak restaurant, Solomillo, was so tasty, we went twice!

From my arrival at the front desk receiving a warm welcome and great help from Manager Chalota. During the days always smile and serviceminded people at the front desk, whom I unfortunately don't have their names, but not to be forgotten. And not to forget the doormen, the women at the breakfast buffet, the cleaning women. My lovely room. I will be back one day.

The hotel is in an outstanding location at Carrer de Mallorca 251, in the heart of the elegant Eixample district, just a short walk from the famous Passeig de Gràcia, one of the most beautiful and lively streets in the city. From here it’s incredibly easy to explore Barcelona on foot. Some of the city’s most iconic attractions are only minutes away: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera (Casa Milà) are about a 3–5 minute walk, while Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla can be reached in around 10–12 minutes. Even the Sagrada Familia is relatively close and easy to reach. The surrounding area is also full of great restaurants, cafés and shops, and several metro stations are just a few minutes away. The hotel itself is elegant, stylish and very welcoming. The rooms are spotless, well designed and extremely comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring the city. A special mention goes to the staff, who were always friendly, professional and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, this hotel perfectly combines comfort, style and an unbeatable location for visiting Barcelona. If we return to the city, this will definitely be our first choice.

- BethR1262 (10/5): I will always stay here! - A+++. This was our second stay at Alexandra Hotel. Our first stay was in May 2024 with our teenage kids, this time it was just my husband and myself. We returned because it’s a great hotel, great location, lovely people, and all around great! Great rooms and amenities, including large towels, water bottles, shampoo, and comfy bedding. The bartenders are super nice as are the front desk employees. We will definitely return to this hotel when we come back to Barca!

Daily water in the room and robes/slippers were provided. The breakfast was great (you do chose to pay for it or not when booking- we recommend paying for breakfast too!). The breakfast did a great job with providing gluten free bread and muffins for our daughter! The front desk staff were kind and accommodating. The best thing is the location of this hotel. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
- Royzee (10/5): Great location. Comfy & clean. - Very nice 2night pre-cruise stay at the very clean Hilton property. Small fridge in room, Nespresso machine, tea kettle. Adequate elec outlets (all spanish so remember your elec converters). Very friendly, helpful front desk, location is great: 30-40 min walk to Sagrida Familia, 5-10 min walk to Casa Pedrera and Casa Battlio. Pharmacy across St. , Mini mkt 3 doors down. The hotel is in an area with many high-end shops & tavernas and restaurants. Bed was firm but comfy. A bonus was that you could open the window a bit for fresh air. No climate controls -I could find fan only. Breakfast was good many cheese, cold cut, fruit and hot & cold choices. Our room was facing the courtyard ( back of hotel) and was pretty quiet for a city. Small gym : 1 bike, 1 treadmill, a few free weight dumbbells also a small outdoor pool. Iron & ironing board; hair dryer, small combination safe in the room. The Room was a decent size . There was no dresser or shelves to store clothes- giving more “free space” to the room. Small shelf in closet above hangers. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a cookie-cutter Hilton.
- FedericoCardona (10/5): Exceptional service! - I recently stayed at this Hilton and had an experience that truly defined 'above and beyond' service. Upon arriving on February 10th, I realized I had left my iPhone in the taxi from the airport. Agnese Cristiani, the manager on duty that evening, was absolutely incredible. She stayed calm, while I used my GPS to track the phone, and spent significant time on the phone with the taxi company until the phone was safely recovered. Losing a phone in a foreign city is incredibly stressful, but Agnese turned it into a positive experience. The hotel itself is great, but it’s the staff, like Agnese, who make it world-class. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

- FAST_Command (10/5): Gem of a hotel in Barcelona - Another stay at this wonderful hotel in the center of Barcelona. Great location and a very attentive and helpful staff. All of them speak great English. The reception team are all stars, especially JuanJo.... who goes out of his way to make people feel welcome. Excellent breakfast and the staff could not be nicer. A lot of the staff have worked there a long time which always speaks volumes about good management practices. Rooms are all very nice, especially the older rooms from the original building. All in all and excellent option if you are looking for a centrally-located hotel in Barcelona.

When I arrived I was offered a glass of lemon water that was brought to me upon check-in. I arrived too early to get into my room, but by the time I came back my luggage was already in my room. I was celebrating my birthday at this hotel and they surprised me with a birthday note and piece of cake! When I left for an early departure, the concierges did their best to help me find the best transportation. One of them even went so far as to check the bus station for me and wait outside in the early morning/dark hours and waited to make sure a bus came to pick me up! They go ABOVE and BEYOND here!

We had a king room with pull out couch and view of courtyard. I originally wanted a room with the pictured "chill out" area but when I looked at the room while at the hotel it was not as spacious as ours and I didn't like the layout as much. Reception was great, always willing to go the extra mile. Bartenders were also awesome. Location is in a good area with bars and restaurants close by but more high end stores than you would find in the gothic quarter for example. I would recommend this hotel.

To the right after exiting the hotel brings us to the rows of restaurants/bistro which runs parallel to the shopping belt. Across the road, straight in of the hotel has some nice restaurants too. The room we were allocated to has 3 steps after exiting the lift. Quite a nuance when we have our luggage, otherwise the room is in a quiet corner and we do not hear much noise from humans traffic. Amenties in the room is good. We have to ask for shaving kit, cotton pads and cotton buds from housekeeping who doesn’t quite understand but thankfully, she is intuitive and brought us what we needed. Coffee capsules, water, shampoo, bathroom slippers, bath robe are available in the room so we do not need to ask for it. Breakfast is not bad. The coffee machine broke down once out of the 4 breakfasts we had. Anyway coffee is not great so it doesn’t matter. The spread is typical with greens, cheese, ham, turkey, fresh tomatoes, yoghurt fruits and warm dishes such as sunny side up, scrambled eggs, mushrooms sausages potato etc. There is no live egg station, and yes, there is a bread toaster and very nice butter. It is the usual spread typical of chan hotels. Reception service is good. When we checked in, the counter staff make sure she oriented us of our location, gave us some quick tips on some must sees around the neighbourhood. There is a restaurant recommendation which is 10 min walk away which is very good but also slightly more pricey than the usual. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay for the location, cleanliness, room size is good for 2 of us and 2 opened big luggage.
- Abdulaziz (4/5): الموقع انصح به فقط ولكن الغرف صغيرة ويوجد خيارات أفضل منه - الموقع صغر الغرف وأيضاً كان مكتوب بالوصف يوجد شطاف بدورة المياة لكن تفاجأت انه لا يوجد إضافة الى صغر مدخل الكراج والمواقف ويشترطون عليك مقاسات معينه للسيارة وان تتحمل اي خدوش تحدث لسيارتك !! وأنا طالع حكيت الجدار من ضيق المدخل
- 779anicag (10/5): Great stay at the hotel - We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel during our trip to Barcelona. The staff are very warm considerate. I felt lightened up whenever I saw them as their faces are filled with sunshine. The drinks at the lobby were refreshing. Beds were comfy and room were quiet so I had a very deep sleep. Room had good views of the street and filled with sunshine. Shower room spacious. Last day I had a diarrhea & fever and even after checking out, they did everything possible to help me recover. Their service and hospitality definitely levels up our trip. Would recommend to people staying in Barcelona.

Walkable distance to main avenues, trains and the subway. The room is perfectly equipped and clean with a modern style. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We appreciate the kindness of hotel manager Carlota and staff member Claudia, who made our trip perfectly comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again anytime we visit this beautiful city.
